The moonlight makes it's apperance known through the sheets that hang over a small window, blowing gently as the balcony peeks through occasionally.

He shivers in the cold winds of winter, the fireplace dim and now dying — his teeth chattering in the silence of the room, a limp hand laid next to his own.

The hand moves slightly, causing Knife to turn his head. Grasping Fan's fingers, curling around the tips for a sense for comfort — pulling at his heartstrings.

A tanned complexion, with locks that resemble the length of grass — gorgeous blue eyes like the skies above, painting a visual landscape, while his glasses lay crooked on his face.

His thumb brushes over Fan's knuckles, a small, faint smile on his face — but it then goes back to the neutral expression from before.

Something makes his stomach churn, a feeling of uneasiness washing over him. Lowering his gaze to their hands, Knife squeezes the one underneath his for a sense of security.

How could one be so beautiful? Was he worthy of him?

As he sits in the dark, waiting for the cold to settle down, a memory begins to play in his head — slowly winding from beginning to end. The moonlight so gentle, so quiet and quaint, as he rest at the side of someone else.

"I love you, more than you can imagine."

Love was such a funny thing. The feeling of butterflies roaming throughout your body, as your fingertips go numb — the rosy tint of red on someones cheeks, and the everlasting stare of desire.

Knife was grateful for the oppertunity to love another soul, the idea of being next to someone for eternity — his finger tips tracing over the gem on the engagement ring which rested on his spouses finger.

Together, forever.
