whenever i tell anyone that i've thought on and off about cutting my hair really short but haven't been able to bring myself to do it i can see the thought flash across their face. like "oh it's because you're afraid you'll look too much like a boy" [insert pity or understanding]. i fucking wish i could be certain to look more masc by cutting my hair. instead i am 85% sure i will look like a very specific genre of market auntie.

#also a lot of other reasons such as #1. i don't do hair maintenance so i would not be able to commit to a length that would have me doing maintenance cuts every month or so #2. i will not be styling that shit. i don't want to touch it #3. it really annoys me when hair gets in my face so if i want to avoid maintenance cuts AND hair in my face it's better if it's long enough #to tie back #but also definitely the auntie thing.#no offense to the aunties i am thinking of. that is just not what i am going for. love and peace #ein babbles #see this could all be resolved if i were willing to just shave my head and damn the social consequences. food for thought.#i do need a haircut soon though it's getting too heavy for my head and too long for 'towel draped across shoulders while it dries'

First drafts for Bee!Kagami and Turtle!Luka

You have no idea how hard the Bee!Kagami was to design… I’m still not 100% satisfied with it.

I thought it would be funny if Kagami’s bee hero name was a real Japanese name just like Ryuko is. Hachimitsu means honey bee so it was perfect.

Turtle!Luka (or Terrapin as I decided to call him) was actually a surprisingly easy design. I’ll probably just tweak a couple of things here and there.

Quiet reader remains silent as the bully approaches, digging through the grass as their shadow towers over them. The bully grits their teeth.

Bully: Didn't you hear me call your name? Answer me when I talk to you -

The bully lifts reader up by the collar. As they're dragged to their feet, Reader tightens their grip on the jagged rock they picked up - driving their fist into the jaw of their attacker. The first hit knocks them off balance, the second on their back and the hard pavement. Reader stands over them, dismissive, as their plant their foot on their chest

"f...uck.. wait... I don't even....."

Reader completely ignores them and strikes them with the rock over and over - stopped only by a gentle hand pulling them back and a damp rag wiping at the specks of red sprinkling their face

"Hey there! Got a little something on your face. Might wanna stop now before things get outta hand, yea?

Reader shrugs them off and gets up, walking away as Rich Yan pulls out their wallet. They tuck a few bills in the bully's pocket and pat their cheek as they slowly come to.

"Little something extra for all your help.."

Yan clicks their tongue as the bully turns away.

"Oh, don't start crying now. We'll get those teeth fixed soon."
