I just watched S1E2 of house and I would like everyone to know that PCR analysis is actually relatively cheap now. They did a PCR analysis on my entire first year bio class just to prove we all did or did not have earlobe attachment or not. Essentially for fun! Most of us did not. It took like 3 hours and they did it genuinely for our entertainment. It isn't a big deal
