This mornings mood is looking at Calien and rotating him around in my mind with force. He's a good Crow and a decent-ish/okay person but he's a good Crow FIRST. Idk what my point was anymore but I love that he seems so normal at first and the more you get to know him the clearer it becomes that he's absolutely cracked in the head. (The Harding experience must be crazy. They're close friends and get along great! He also almost stabbed her 1 day into knowing each other bc she woke him up at night and he sleeps with a knife in hand. This is normal, apparently.) His stories are fun and exciting (if you can excuse the puns) but half the things he says are incomprehensible at best and leave you rattled at worst bc what the fuck did he mean by that. He's friendly and seems happy to be here half the time then he'll drop comments about traumatic things and never elaborate. His grip on genuine emotions is questionable at best. He both values life and thinks that killing people is the most natural thing ever. He respects and embodies most crow values but he's too reckless and respects his bosses too little. (Half the talons love him and half want him dead with interest.) Never let him in the kitchen, his cooking could be considered House de Riva level of poisonous. Except hot chocolate. He's a minor fire hazard. And when you think you've heard it all, he honestly believes that death is a reasonable punishment for failing at his job even once. Idk where I'm going but he's so fun to think about so many things are wrong with him <3
