All your life, you never even thought about the possibility that maybe, you’ll encounter a demon someday. Why you, out of all people? Why especially you?
Even now with its cold eyes glaring down at you and your shoulder ripped open by its claws, you fail to find an answer for that. Is it your fate to die right here, when you only went out at night in order to buy medicine for your little sister who has fever? Is dying the cruelest death really your destiny when you wish for nothing more than growing old and watching your own children live their lives?
It’s unfair.
You shouldn’t lay here, crumpled onto the still wet street. You shouldn’t feel the sensation of your eyes watering, your hands trembling, your heart racing.
This shouldn’t be your last day walking on this earth. You didn’t even have the chance to find the man of your dreams yet…
It’s ridiculous and you know it, that spark of determination that rushes through your bones. All of the sudden you spring back onto your feet and start running. Out of the city, away from the lit streets straight into the dark woods.
Even if you have to die here, you won’t give up this easily. You won’t allow this demon to end your life without putting up a fight.
“Why do you girls always think you can run away, huh? It’s too easy to sweep you off your feet”, the demon behind you comments dryly.
With a swift motion of his hand, it digs open your tender flesh all over again, sends your violent scream echoing through the lonely forest. You fall to the ground like a bag of rice, your torn leg now refusing its service completely.
“Let me go!”, you shriek in horror.
No, you don’t want to die here, you just want to go back to bed and forget about this.
But the forest ground isn’t your bed and the demon in front of you who’s ready to slice through your throat isn’t only a nightmare.
Your heart sinks to the floor, body suddenly feeling numb and lifeless. You will die here.
“I’ll keep you in good memory. Well, at least for tonight”, the demon jeers at you.
You close your eyes, desperately try to imagine your little sister. She’ll find herself a loving husband and her very own family without any doubt. Even without you around, her life will turn out alright. Even without you around, life goes on. You don’t have to feel sad or guilty, you just have to let go…
“Get away from that woman.”
A low male voice, so charismatic that you think you might dream. He sure must be handsome. Men with voices like that always have a matching face.
A slicing blade, a dull thud. But no claws that dig into your flesh one last time, no bow of relief that you’ve been awaiting for quite some time by now. Your eyelids start shivering. When is this finally over?
“Are you alright? Please allow me to help you up.”
The second something touches your skin, your eyes snap open in an instant. But they aren’t greeted by those venomous red orbs from earlier. No, these ones are soft but strong and have that calming fuchsia color. This isn’t a demon.
This is a man.
“Don’t be afraid. The demon is gone”, he continues speaking with his low voice.
You have no control over your own body and shivering limbs. It’s impossible for you to say a single word. Are you really out of danger? Is it really over?
When he pulls you off the ground, a violent scream escapes your lips. No, you don’t want to die, you don’t want your life to end tonight. Not like this, not without saying goodbye.
“Please calm down, everything is alright now”, the stranger tries to reassure you, but his words don’t even reach your ringing ears.
You gasp for air like a fish on land, forehead now covered in ice cold sweat. This can’t be your end.
If Yoriichi doesn’t act now, you might faint due to your stress. But what is he supposed to do? You don’t seem to listen to his words and touching you might only make it worse. Maybe you need, assurance?
“I won’t hurt you, see? My hands have no intention of doing you any harm.”
Gently, he glides his fingertips up and down your uninjured harm. Despite the look of horror on your face and your gaping wounds, you do have a lovely face and truly remarkable eyes.
“I came here to help you”, he continues until his fingertips finally brush over your tear-soaked face.
What is this feeling of warmth deep inside his chest? You aren’t the first woman he saved from the claws of a demon.
“I would like to accompany you on your way back home-“
“No”, you suddenly blurt out.
Even though lying in bed on your own was all you were able to think about just a few moments ago, the thought feels like a threat now. What if another demon follows you back home? What if your little sister gets attacked because of your foolishness? No, you simply can’t go back now. But on the other hand…Just the thought of sleeping alone here in the woods runs shivers down your spine.
“I…I’ll find a place to stay. Otherwise…they might harm my sister…”, you mutter.
“Allow me to escort you to my estate, then.”
You yank your head to the side in sheer disbelief, eyes searching for a spark of humor in his calming orbs. Is he really serious about that? After all, you’re a stranger. He doesn’t even know your name. Now that you think of it…who is this?
“How can I know for sure that you aren’t a demon yourself?”
“Take my hand”, he instructs you gently.
Is this really a good idea? You take a deep breath in, try to calm down your pounding heart. What do you have to lose?
When your shaky fingers wrap themselves around his much larger hand, you get ingulfed by warmth. His palms feel rough but also comforting against your bruised skin.
“Demons are cold since they are dead”, he explains briefly.
“But I am not. I am a demon slayer. It is my only destiny to safe innocent souls from their death.”
Oh. Your gaze drifts towards a katana that hangs dangles from his belt. No, demon don’t find with those weapons. So, are those words really true?
“You…You want to help me?”
“I’d love to help you if you allow me to.”
What has gotten into him? Did he really offer you to hold his hand, let alone to sleep at his house so you don’t have to fear the night on your own? Never in his life, Yoriichi allowed himself to develop feelings apart from empathy for those around him.
But those eyes. Those eyes of yours really captivate him, devour him fully. How is he supposed to leave you out here, soaked in your own blood with bruises all over your body?
“You…really would?”
Is this really okay? When you were a child, your mother told you over and over that you aren’t allowed to talk to strangers, let alone man.
But…does that also include the handsome, charismatic and armored ones?
“I keep my word. Also, your wounds need care as well. Please, allow me to help you.”
What do you have to lose.
“If that’s the case, I’d love to take your offer”, you reply shyly.
“I’m glad to hear that. I will show you the way-“
A loud groan escapes your lips before you’re able to stop it. His charismatic eyes almost made you forget about the gaping wound the monster from before inflicted on you.
Almost.
“You shouldn’t move your leg with a wound like that. I will carry you to my estate.”
“You will…carry me?”, you mutter with widened eyes.
But just when you try to take a step forward, his words become painfully clear. No, there really is no way you’ll be able to walk anywhere with that leg. But allowing him to carry you?
“I might be a little heavy.”
“Let me assure you, you aren’t heavy at all.”
“Fine…”, you grumble.
“But only a few meters.”
Gently, he stranger wraps his arms around your shoulder and knees before he starts walking.
He smells good. Like a field of flowers on a sunny day. And the way his heart beats against your cheek reminds you that you’re still alive, that you survived somehow.
This man saved you.
“I didn’t even thank you.”
“There’s no need to thank me. This is the least I can do for you after I almost came too late.”
He stares blankly at the blood that still drips from your leg. Just a few seconds later and that demon would have killed you with him simply watching. Why? Why is he not able to save them all, why is he still not good enough to stop this madness?
“Don’t tense up, don’t think anything less of yourself because I was injured. I was a fool for leaving the house this late at night on my own.”
Despite the fact that cold sweat still runs down your forehead and even though your fingertips still shake in shock, you cup his cheek and force his troubled eyes to look at you.
“I am beyond thankful for my rescue. The worst thing about dying today would have been leaving my little sister behind. But you saved me. And not only that, you even offered me a safe place to stay for the night. I really don’t know if…If I’d be able to sleep on my own tonight…”
The stranger doesn’t say a word, his eyes roaming around your face without a real aim.
“Oh, I didn’t even ask. What’s your name?”
“My name is not important-“
“I’m (y/n)”, you introduce yourself friendly.
“My…my name is Yoriichi”, the man carrying you mumbles.
Yoriichi. An unusual name that you’ve never heard before.
“That name suits you well.”
“We’ll arrive soon. I hope you don’t expect a big mansion since I am living in a rather small cottage-“
“I’m living in a tiny barrack in the city. A house in the woods sounds like a dream”, you mutter.
The second you open your eyes again, you find yourself in a wooden cabin with a plain futon lying on the floor and an improvised kitchen in the back of the house. Nothing special, very fitting for the man who gently lowers you onto the futon.
“I will take care of your wounds now”, he announces before taking off his haori and katana.
Without his threatful weapon dangling from his belt, he looks like a normal man.
If it wasn’t for those captivating eyes. He has to be the most breathtaking man you’ve ever seen.
“Fortunately, the cut on your leg isn’t deep. I’ll disinfect the wound and bandage it”, he explains briefly before his skilled hands spring into action.
“You really are good at everything”, you comment.
He’s so gentle that even the alcohol that disinfects your wound doesn’t seem to burn. Why have you never stumbled across him? You were so sure that you know each and every man around that it almost drove you insane. But him? He’s different from all the others. He’s truly special.
“You will have to take your kimono off. I need access to the wound on your shoulder.”
Oh.
“Y-yeah, sure…”
Hesitantly, you pull the blood-soaked fabric down your shoulder so that only your chest is still covered. Yoriichi’s eyes seem to gleam in the moonlight like liquid metal.
“You look lovely”, he flusters into the night.
He doesn’t know what has gotten into him. Is it the alcohol rising up his nose, the smell of blood that radiates from your bruised body that makes him say those strange things?
No. It has to be because of those eyes of yours. Those eyes that captivated him from the moment he first saw them.
"Thank you," you stammer, your cheeks flushing as you nervously tuck a strand of hair behind your ear.
"You too," you add quickly, immediately regretting your awkward response.
Both you and Yoriichi swallow hard, the atmosphere in the room suddenly changing.
“I am finished. You should rest for tonight. After all, this was a draining fight for you”, he mutters while getting up.
You let out the breath you didn’t know you were holding, heart still hammering so roughly against your ribcage that you’re almost sure he’s able to hear it. What was this tension?
“But…this is your futon-“
“You are my guest. Of course, I will sleep on the floor on the other side of the room.”
Oh. A wave of disappointment rushes over you before you’re able to stop it. What were you expecting, secretly hoping? That this man will share a bed with you?
Honestly, yes.
“You…you really don’t have to…”
Oh, how much Yoriichi wished he wouldn’t have to.
“I insist on taking the floor.”
“I actually want you to sleep by my side. Please.”
The begging tone in your voice stops him mid-track.
“This night was…horrible. A little company would definitely help, if you don’t mind.”
“I don’t mind at all”, he replies a little too hasty.
“I just don’t want to invade your personal space. After all, I’m a stranger.”
“A really kind stranger”, you add shyly.
Are you acting out of line? You shouldn’t push him to sleep next to you when his offer to let you sleep here is already generous enough, right?
“Forget my question, I was acting out of line-“
“No, not at all. I would love sleeping besides you.”
He crosses the room in an instant and kneels down next to you.
“But let me know whenever I become too much.”
What a ridiculous thought. Why would he ever become too much? Him, your savior, that remarkable man.
You scoot over until your back is pressed against the cool wall, eyes still fixated on his gleaming eyes. Will you really be able to sleep tonight when this is the first time ever a man lies beside you?
And what a handsome one on top.
“You should try to sleep now. Nothing will happen to you as long as I am here”, he reassures you.
That is the least he can do after failing to protect you in the first place.
“Again, thank you for all of this. I definitely own you a favor”, you mumble.
Suddenly your lids start to get heavy, your mind slows down bit by bit. Maybe this rough night really took its toll on you. Is It the safety he radiates, his calming smell? In the matter of seconds, only your low and even breath is heard.
Finally, Yoriichi is able to allow himself a closer look at you. You look so peaceful and innocent with a face so remarkably beautiful that he can’t stop staring. You have to be the prettiest woman he’s ever seen. A man like him really doesn’t deserve lying next to a woman like you. Maybe he should give you space, leave you now that you fell asleep-
With a quiet groan, you draw closer to him in your sleep until your head rests on top of his chest and with your arms wrapped around his upper body.
He doesn’t dare to move an inch, eyes widen in utter surprise. Is this…cuddling? His mind races back and forth, eyes resting on your calm features. What is he supposed to do now?
Hesitantly, he allows his hand to rest on your back. What an unknown sensation, all those feelings that rise up his chest right where your hand rests.
For the first time since forever, he is the one who feels safe.
He is the one who feels loved.
He is the one who feels warm.
And you? You cuddle yourself against him until the sun rises all over again.

Sanemi Shinazugawa
This one's for you @muichirolover14 🤍
Tumblr media
“This is bullshit”, the man walking next to you mumbles under his breath.
“Keep focused. It was Kagaya-sama’s personal wish that the two of us go on this mission together”, you mumble with a fake smile decorating your bright red lips.
And that’s the only reason why you agreed in the first place. Why else would you pretend to be Sanemi Shinazugawa’s personal concubine if it wasn’t for Kagaya-sama and this undercover mission?
The plan is pretty simple. Countless people, including other demon slayers, lost their lives in this little innocent village that becomes a red-light district at night. Nobody knows why or who is responsible for this.
One of the upper moons, maybe.
It just made sense to dress you up as a concubine. After all, you are the light hashira, a mighty swordswoman and probably the most talented out of Mitsuri and Shinobu when it comes to acting.
And then there’s him. You glance at Sanemi’s annoyed face from the side. Why on earth did Kagaya-sama choose him? What about Rengoku, Giyu, Obanai, Tengen, Gyomei? Aren’t they a way better fit?
You sign to yourself.
Truth is, they aren’t. While Rengoku, Obanai, Tengen and Gyomei would stand out immediately, Giyu would never be able to sell you as his concubine. No, no one except the wind hashira is able to make this look natural.
No one but him looks this good in a dark green kimono.
What?
“Stop staring at me like that, brat”, he hisses through gritted teeth.
“I was just hoping you might disappear if I stare long enough, idiot”, you bite back in frustration.
Why does he always have to be so mean, though? You really tried to get along with him countless times, put on the most precious smile whenever you talked to him and made sure to always bring him ohagi whenever you had the chance to. But Sanemi Shinazugawa never stopped hating you. And eventually, a part of you started to dislike him as well. That one part though…
You allow your eyes a minor glimpse at his barely exposed chest. That tiny part deep within your head is somehow still drawn to him. And you hate it.
“Aren’t concubines supposed to shut up?”
“Watch your mouth or I’ll leave immediately.”
“Both of us know you wouldn’t do that.”
You let out your shaky breath, your hand crushing his while you wear the same friendly smile as before.
“Don’t mess with me, Shinazugawa”, you speak out with low voice.
His face tenses up ever so slightly, hand fighting for freedom out of your merciless grasp.
“You’ll regret talking to me like that when we’re alone, brat.”
-at the estate-
“I’d like to show you to my newest possession. Please introduce yourself”, Sanemi speaks out.
Like Amane-sama showed you, you bow in front of the man that looks you up and down with his filthy eyes.
“My name is Kiyomi”, you introduce yourself oh so sweetly.
“That name really suits you. What a beauty you are. I’m sure I’d find a lot of paying customers for you here”, the disgusting man purrs and stretches out his hand in order to touch your face.
“Don’t touch the goods”, Sanemi barks at him immediately before slapping his dirty hand away.
Who does this guy think he is, trying to touch you so casually? No. That jerk isn’t allowed to caress your face. The plain thought of men like him getting to put their hands on you…
Sanemi’s guts turn.
“Aren’t you here to sell her and yourself for the night? If that’s the case, she won’t be your good anymore for the next few hours but mine.”
He smiles at you through rotten teeth, his breath almost forcing you to choke. You are only here to detect the demon who is responsible for the countless deaths in this area. You don’t have to touch any of these men. None of them will touch you.
What about Sanemi, though? An uneasy feeling rises up your chest when your eye catches a group of women who stare him up and down with lust in their eyes. Will he allow himself a taste before continuing with this mission? Will he find a woman he is attracted to? All of them look flawless, too good to even consider the service of a paid men. But if that man looks like Sanemi…
“You will find your room to the right. This is where the female customers choose their good. After paying, you belong to them”, the man explains briefly while showing both of you around.
“Why would these women pay for the services of a man? This is a noble region that is well-inhabited by countless men”, you blurt out.
“It’s not about them being men. It’s about looks. Only the fine-looking men even get the chance to work here for the night”, he explains briefly.
Fine-looking man, huh? Well, there is no doubt in the fact that Sanemi suits that description way too good. With his firm muscles highlighted by scars from countless battles, he looks like a walking god. Let alone his perfect face, his eyes that now look soft and seducing without being irritated constantly. His white hair that frames his features perfectly.
“As for the women, we look for a broad variety of bodies, looks and personalities. You are very easy on the eye and mysterious. I’m sure countless customers will fall for that.”
“And what…what services do they expect?”
The man in front of you bursts out in hysteric laughter, you can feel Sanemi’s eyes piercing through your skull.
“What they expect? Intercourse and everything that revolves around it, of course! Do you think they pay you for some cuddles and nice words?”
You swallow hard. There is no need to do that, right? You’ll somehow shrug them off and investigate this place at night. Maybe you’ll find the demon right away and-
“Now, you are a fine-looking man. Who is this?”, a woman suddenly purrs out of the shadows.
“A new worker for the night”, the disgusting man explains with a dirty smile.
“Well, if that’s the case, I’ll definitely make a reservation.”
“It would be an honor, my lady”, suddenly replies in the same cheeky tone
Your guts turn in an instant, eyes narrowing slightly as you watch how a smile forms itself on Sanemi’s usual resting lips.
“What a gentleman he is. I cannot wait to meet you.”
“The honor is on my side, my lady.”
And then he steps in front of her. Elegantly, he grabs the hand she already holds out and kisses her knuckles. Your heartrate quickens, the warm flush that starts creeping up your face barely covered by your makeup.
Fucking asshole. So he’s acting like a jerk towards you all this time while treating other women like this? You hate the knot that forms itself in your throat, the disgusting feeling of disappointment that rushes over you.
Does he really hate you this much?
“Well, I think I should introduce myself to the customers as well. Have a pleasant night, Sir”, your monotone voice speaks out on its own.
With one last bow towards him, you follow the man into the women’s corridor without even gifting him a single look. Sanemi can’t help but furrow his eyebrows at your sudden reaction. Did you really want to get rid of him so badly? Maybe you’ll actually meet up with some of those guys and…
“Are you interested-“
“I will meet up with you later this evening, my lady. Please excuse me.”
Without another look or word, he storms into his assigned room and closes the door behind him.
Sanemi’s mind starts going insane. What if you actually like one of those guys? Or what if one of them hurts you, tries to force you into something you don’t want? He heard the worst stuff about places like this.
Fuck, he shouldn’t have let you go in the first place. Why you? This mission is way too dangerous for someone like you, for someone this gorgeous-
“I’m losing my fucking mind”, he mutters through gritted teeth.
“I can’t do this”, you breathe out in sheer panic while lying in bed.
No, just the thought of Sanemi having the fun of his life with that girl from earlier feels like ripping your beating heart out of your chest. Will he really share a bed with them?
If it’s for the mission, he definitely would. Nothing is greater than his urge to kill demons, especially when it comes to an upper ranked one. That little sacrifice wouldn’t stop him.
And it breaks your dumb heart.
A hard knock on the door rips you out of your running thoughts. Is this your first customer? All color drains from your face, eyes widen in horror with every bow against the wooden door.
“Just a moment”, your shaky voice shouts.
You…Do you have to look presentable? You have to think about the things you can tell him. Maybe you don’t even have to sleep with him, maybe this will distract you from the things Sanemi is probably doing right now.
You open the door.
And stare straight into the furious eyes of Sanemi Shinazugawa.
Before you’re even able to react, he pushes himself into your room and closes the door behind him before yanking you against the wall.
“What did you do?”, he hisses through gritted teeth.
Your heart starts hammering roughly against your ribcage. Him? Here?
“What the hell are you doing he-“
“Answer my question right now!”, he barks into your face.
“I didn’t do anything!”, you shriek.
“What the hell has gotten into you!?”
“Has somebody touched you?”
His rough hands start running up and down your neck, yank the sleeves of your kimono upwards in a haste.
“What?”, you breathe out.
What the hell is going on? Just when you managed to pull your arm away from him, he grabs your wrist again with his face only inches away from yours.
“Did somebody touch you?”, he screams into your face.
“No!”, you cry back.
“But why would you even care? It looked like you had plenty of fun!”
He shakes his head while looking at you in utter surprise and confusion.
“What non-sense are you talking now-“
“Did you sleep with that woman from earlier when I was gone?”
God, you hate the way your voice cracks in the middle of the sentence, you hate the way your eyes fill with hot tears. He came here to confront you with all those accusations while he was out there having the time of his life, while all you were able to think about is him?
“No, I didn’t sleep with anyone!”
“Stop lying to me!”
“You’re the only one I want!”, he suddenly blurts out breathlessly.
“What?”, you utter in hushed panic.
This has to be a cruel joke, an unforgiving way to stop you from doing anything. Sanemi Shinazugawa, wanting you?
“Since I first saw you with your fucking perfect face and so melodic voice, I can’t think about anything else! You, sleeping with some random guy while I’m just a few doors away. I can’t take it!”
He grabs your head with both hands, eyes staring at you so intensely that you feel like collapsing any minute. If that’s really true, if that’s really how he feels…
“But…I want you too”, you squirm.
“I always wanted you, Sanemi.”
Tumblr media
His lips crash against yours with so much power that you almost fall over. Suddenly his hands are all over your body, tongue unforgiving as he discovers your mouth with a passion you’ve never felt before. You allow your very own hands to finally discover the deep valleys of his muscular back, to let your hasty fingertips wander over his tight chest.
It becomes unbearable. Everything starts to become unbearable. That minor gap between your bodies, the clothes that still deny you full access to his naked skin, the feeling of not having enough.
“I need more”, you whimper against his lips, not even knowing what exactly you’re asking about.
Sanemi lifts you up with ease, not even breaking the kiss when he pushes you onto the bed with his massive body lingering on top of you.
You feel like suffocating in the most exquisite way.
“I’ll give you whatever you want”, he breathes against your lips that now find your neck.
A whimper escapes your mouth before you can stop his, body rearing up underneath him.
“S-Sanemi!”
“Fuck”, he hisses before his dark eyes meet you again in distress.
“Tell me you want this.”
“I…what?”
You can’t produce a single logical sound, head still spinning from the unknown sensation that starts building up inside your stomach. Is this what desire feels like?
“Tell me you want this too. Tell me you want me.”
“I wanted you all this time”, you reply without thinking twice.
With a swift motion, you find yourself engulfed by his arms with his lips caressing yours all over again. Like in trance, you begin opening his kimono, expose his bare skin to your merciless eyes.
“You look so shamelessly good”, you whimper.
Oh, how often you pondered about how his chest feels like, if his scars are soft or as rough as his walls.
“Can I…?”
His hands grab the ends of your kimono, eyes staring down at you flustered. Is that blush creeping up his cheeks?
“It’s just…You know…I’ve never done this before…”, you stammer.
“Do I look like I did, idiot?”, he mutters while gently taking off your kimono until you lay underneath him.
Completely naked.
“I mean, yes…”
“No, I didn’t”, he barks.
“I guess I waited for someone special…”
“I did as well”, you reply in an instant.
Is this real or are you dreaming? Sanemi Shinazugawa laying on top of you fully nude. Sanemi Shinazugawa stating that he likes you. Sanemi Shinazugawa’s hand that start moving downwards…
Until he reaches between your legs and simply takes your breath away.
“Are you okay?”, he mutters, eyes filled with worry.
You nod absently, eyes rolling back into your skull. God, this feels like heaven. When a groan escapes his lips, you completely lose yourself. Out of instinct, you grab his neck and yank him even closer towards you, your hot breath clashing against his face.
“Sanemi!”
His name sounds like a prayer coming from your mouth, forces his fingers to move even faster. Is this good? Is he doing everything alright? Your whimpers grow louder and louder, nails digging into his now oversensitive skin with so much pressure that it threatens to burst. You look so gorgeous with your eyes pressed shut, your delicate mouth forming an “o”.
And then you burst right underneath him, scream his name over and over again with your legs shaking. He can’t wait no longer, can’t contain himself another second.
“I need you”, he mutters.
“Please, let me have you.”
“Yes”, you breathe out, mind still spinning when the firework that just exploded in your lower body slowly starts wearing off.
Until you feel him all over again. But this time, not his fingers. Your glossy eyes widen in utter surprise when he carefully stretches you out and disappears inside of you, hands holding onto him for dear life.
“Are you okay?”, he whimpers.
“Please…give me…more…”
He almost loses his mind, the new sensation almost eating him up alive. Countless nights, he dreamed about what it might be like to have you, what it would feel like. But the reality is so much better than any dream.
Sanemi picks up his pace and grabs your waist passionately in order to keep you in place. Over and over, again and again your sticky skin collides with his until he threatens to burst.
“You’re mine”, he presses out through gritted teeth while pounding into you.
“I’m all yours, Sanemi!”, you cry out, nails now leaving marks on his skin.
“I need…ah! I need you! Please!”
He knows exactly what you’re asking for. One last time, he picks up the pace while holding onto you for dear life.
Until finally, you scream his name. Finally, he’s able to let it all go.
“(y/n)!”
He collapses on top of you, his weight leaving you dizzy and unable to move. None of you dares to make a move, the only thing that’s filling the room being your shaky and sharp breaths.
“I love you, (y/n)”, Sanemi finally mutters, his hand caressing your cheek oh so gently.
“I love you too-“
“Mission report, mission report! Kagaya-sama requires a mission re- AH!”
“Get out of here right now!”, Sanemi barks at the crow that casually entered the room.
“WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?”
“Get out!”, Sanemi screams on top of his lungs before yanking up and hunting the crow butt-naked through the room

~~~
Cold Autumn air cut through your suite like a knife. Swinging around the city as the sun went down, checking for any sign of mischief. Catching a glimpse of one of your partners in an alleyway. Deciding to check-in on him and see what was going on.
You crawled slowly down the wall behind him. Sneaking up to see if maybe there was something he was hiding.
"I know you're there," his deep voice rumbled in your ears.
Venom. An alien symbiote. Vigilante by night. Not entirely sure who his human vestige was underneath. Always curious, but never willing to ask.
You hopped off the wall with a sigh. Landing directly behind him, "Your senses are getting better."
"I can always smell you coming," he chuckled with a grin on his face. Your cheeks flushed under your mask. There always was a hint of flirtation between the two of you. You jokingly sniffed your armpit, “Do I really smell that bad?”
Venom scoffed, “Of course not.” A small sting of embarrassment on his tone. Like something deep inside him did not want to offend you.
You felt your senses go into overdrive. Whipping your head around in the direction you were being called to. Leading your gaze into the small view of the streets you had from the alleyway. Hearing the familiar laugh of the villain you had been tracking for weeks now.
“Come on,” you instructed him as you thwipped a web up, pulling yourself higher. Landing on top of the building surrounding you. Staring at the new machine they created. A giant vessel holding some colorful liquid on its back. Giant legs hoisting it up as it rampaged down the streets. Clamping down on cars and throwing them into buildings.
You and Venom diving down head first into the battle. Venom stopping the newly thrown car mid air before it struck a mother and her child. Your webs wrapping themselves around the arms of the machine, pulling and pinning them backwards. The villain shooting a dreadful look at you.
“So this is what you’ve been up to? Thought you were just scared to see me,” you mocked as you shot webs against the arms, pinning it to the ground.
“Pesky bug!” They shouted at you, fingers rapidly pressing buttons on the board of the machine. Watching as a canon extended from the back of it. Feeling your senses tingle every end of your nerves.
“VENOM! WATCH OUT!” You called out as you swung over to your partner. Attempting to shield him from whatever attack was coming from the villain. Your body moving without thinking to his defense.
Gas poured from the cone-shaped end. Surprising you that a missile of some kind didn’t fire out. Thick smog filled the entire street you were in. Fogging up your vision and burning your nose.
You both coughed as the dust coated the insides of your noses and throats.
"What the hell was that?!" Venom growled, noticing the villain had disappeared in front of you.
"I have no idea," you coughed out, "I don't feel any different. Not noticing any physical changes."
"Maybe it was just a distraction," Venom groaned frustrated that you had let them get away. Slamming his giant fist into the nearby concrete. Quiet cursed grumbled under his breath as he jumped back to the ground. You followed closely behind, shooting a web and sliding down it. Feeling a ting in your heart for him.
Walking over and flattening your hand against his back, “We’ll get them next time.”
The monster sighed.
Your chest jumped. The growl on his voice vibrating through your entire body. You swallowed heavy as you awkwardly removed your hand from him. His white eyes looking over his shoulder at you. Widening when they met yours.
“I’ve got to go,” Venom forced his head forward. Rushing off from you. Somewhere you were unsure of. An abrupt end to your nightly routine.
You headed home. Swinging along the large glass buildings in your city. Jumping down a hidden part of the alley next to your apartment. Grabbing your bag you had hid and changing clothes.
Your body went through the familiar motions as you walked up to your apartment. A haze around your vision, your mind somewhere else entirely. Unsure why you felt what you were, but focusing on the one thing that cleared up your fog.
Venom.
Your large alien partner in crime. Well— stopping crime. Ever since you had parted ways after your failed face off today, he was the only thing you could focus on. How gentle he always was with you, his deep voice, how effortlessly flirty he was with you during your endeavors, his tongue—
Oh God.
You felt every last vein in your body run hot. Tingling spreading from between your thighs throughout your body. Fumbling as you tried to get your key in the lock, hunching over at the deep sensation taking over your body. Your breath hitched in your throat.
Fuck, finally.
You stormed into your apartment. Arms wrapped around your chest. Your clothes feeling extra tight. Sweat bubbled along your body. You fanned yourself with your hands. Rushing into your kitchen to open the freezer. Cool air persisting your sudden sweats. Nothing was cooling you off.
You stumbled down your hallway as your core throbbed, an unspeakable feeling seizing your figure. Grabbing the box fan from the closet. Hurrying into the living room and plugging it in. Slumping against your couch directly in front of the fan. Growing agitated at the feeling swirling deep inside you. Unsure how to calm it.
A loud knock at your door made you sit completely up.
Why didn't your spider-sense warn you?
Walking over to look through the peephole. A man with a beard wearing a black leather jacket stood before your door. Not someone you had recognized before. Something inside you begged for you to open the door.
"Hello?"
The man awkwardly smiled at you. A hint of sweat on his forehead. "Uh- Yeah, hi," his eyes darted around the stairwell.
"Can I help you?"
"I think you can actually," he sighed, seeming like there was something he wanted to say. You could see his tongue moving around in his mouth as if he was feeling out the words before saying them.
Suddenly, black ooze began morphing around his arm. Quickly taking the shape of Venom's head in front of you. "We need to come in now," Venom insisted. Your body instinctively moved out of the way allowing them inside.
"How did you find where I live?"
"Do you feel it too?"
You blushed. Completely overtaken by the smell of him. The musky cologne mixed with the sweat on his skin. How his plump lips begged you to plant yours against them. The way his dark eyes stared into yours.
When you suddenly realized. He was feeling the same way you had been all afternoon. The deep burning inside you. The way your body ached and craved another. One that you could not put a finger on until now. It was him.
"Yes," you breathlessly said. Following close behind him.
"I told you so," Venom hissed in the man's face. He held up a hand, pushing him away from his face. "I'm Eddie by the way," he smiled at you, "We've kinda knew each other through some costumes before now." You returned his smile. Feeling a connection to him beyond understanding. Almost like you had known him forever.
“So— uh… guess we need to talk about this? It had to be whatever that psycho sprayed us with earlier. I’m not exactly sure what the side effects are, but I’ve been feeling—“
“Aroused?” Venom blatantly asked, embarrassing his human half. Eddie reached out attempting to cover Venom’s mouth. Pink decorating his cheeks at the aliens lack of social skills. Both of you sharing in your color filled facing.
“Sorry about him—“
“No— No I think he’s right,” you walked over to Eddie and Venom. Locking eyes with Eddie. Both of your bodies instinctively meeting each other. His hands splaying around your lower back, your arms wrapping around his neck. A warmth rising between you. Spreading throughout your body from where his hands met your skin.
“Have you been feeling it too, Eddie?”
His tongue came out to wet his lip. Dark eyes examining your face, pupils blown in lust. A sigh of a “yes” falling from him as he leaned in to plant his lips on yours. Tenderly you kissed back and forth. Tongues exploring each other’s mouths. Soft groans sharing between kisses. Taste of your shared saliva filling your senses.
Eddie’s kisses turned hungry. One hand roaming up your body to tangle in your hair, deepening your connected mouths. He led you backwards, the back of your legs hitting the couch. Bending as you sat back, Eddie’s arms pinned on either side of your head. Your lips parting as you stared at each other. Black pupils stared into yours. Feeling yourself grow lost in his presence. Needing him all over you.
“You smell delicious,” Venom’s deep voice huffed into your ear from behind. Turning your head to meet his gaze. Not even noticing he had crept up behind you while his host hovered over you. A tentacle of ooze wrapping around your neck and pinning you back against the couch. Ripping the air out of your lungs with his strength. Eddie’s lips kissed along your jawline, “Tell us if you want to stop.” You nodded in acknowledgment.
Your eyes squinted shut as their touches stimulated you. Eddie trailed down your body, knees hitting your floor. Fingers traced the waist of your shorts, playing with the elastic. Deep blue eyes stared up at your arched neck. Pressure left your neck as Venom retreated. Taking a deep breath that had been escaping you. Leaning your gaze forward to meet his eyes.
"May I?" Eddie hooked his finger around your waistband.
"Please-"
Eddie pulled your shorts down your legs. The sensation of his hands barely touching your skin sending shivers through you. He admired the darkened fabric of your panties as your core leaked for him. A goofy grin coming across his face. His hot breath fanned at your clothed entry. He leaned forward planting an open mouth kiss against you. Your hips lunged forward at the sudden contact. His hands gripped your thighs firmly holding you in place. "I'll make you feel good," he promised breathlessly. Eyes fixated on the faint image of your pussy in front of him. The smell of your arousal sending him over the edge. Animal like urges taking over. A strong hand ripped your panties off in one swipe. Eddie's brows raised in shock. Looking up at you with an awkward smile, a faint "sorry" escaping him.
Dipping in, his tongue swiping up your entrance. Your breath growing shaky, head falling onto the back of the couch. Trying your best to let him take control. Dying to grind into his face and ride his tongue. One of your hands tangled in his hair, lacing your fingers through it. A grunt vibrated through you when you pulled his hair a little harder than intended. One of his fingers circled your entrance, coating it in your juices before sliding it inside. Curving it with each slow and long thrust. Eddie's name a loud moan from you.
It rang in their ears. Venom inside Eddie's mind telling him to keep going until he had you a squirming mess. Fueling the fire that burned inside Eddie. His hard-on throbbing and begging to be inside you. Whatever had taken over the two of you stinging his skin. Your taste on his tongue turning him on even more.
Your orgasm was approaching at a rapid pace. Your legs were shaking with the magic Eddie worked on you. You were panting, eyes squinted shut in pure ecstasy. You felt Eddie rocking back and forth differently than before. Looking down to see him humping into your couch while still going down on you. Hot breath hitting your core as he continued sucking on your sensitive nub. Your eyes met, holding together. Eddie's brows contorted slightly, wanting nothing more than to be inside you. You could feel the coil inside you about to unwind. One more curve of Eddie's finger had it washing over you. A loud moan escaping you as you gripped his head for support. Forcing yourself further onto his face.
"That's it," Eddie cooed.
You sighed, your body relaxing into the sofa. Your hole still gripping around his finger post orgasm. Slowly, he removed his finger from you. Huffing as he rested his head against your quivering thigh, a wide grin on his face. Admiring how your chest rose and fell with every harsh breath you took. He held his finger up in front of his face staring at how your orgasm coated his finger. Pushing it between his lips and cleaning it off. Lingering in the taste of you.
"Eddie..."
"Yes?"
"Please, I need you to fuck me," you begged. He sighed heavily. Rising to his feet in front of you. Dropping his jacket from his shoulders, then pulling his shirt off. Undoing his belt and dropping it into the floor. Scooping you up into his arms effortlessly. Strength clearly from his symbiotic partner. "I thought you'd never ask," Eddie smiled at you, kissing your lips. Taking you down the hall where he assumed your bedroom was. Pretending the monster in his mind was not leading him to the area strongest of your scent. That's how Venom had taken him here to begin with. When they both were overcome with a desire they could not relieve themselves. The symbiote begged Eddie to allow him to go to you. You were what they desired.
Eddie sat you onto your feet, hands grazing up your sides as his forehead rested against yours. Lips locking with yours. Tongue exploring your mouth. Hands groped your chest. Pinching at your sensitive nipples through the fabric. Hands finding their way under your shirt, dancing up your back to the clasp of your bra. Fingers effortlessly undoing it. Pulling your shirt and bra off in one clean motion. Lips attaching to the soft skin of your chest. Sucking purple marks into them as his fingers rolled your nipples.
"Your skin is so soft," he moaned into you.
You moaned, grinding your knee into his erection. Hands circling his waist, dipping into the band of his jeans. Playing with his boxer-briefs underneath. Undoing the button and zipper. Hand delving down and wrapping around his thinly clothed cock. Eddie's hips rutted at your touch. Smiling into your skin.
Suddenly you felt yourself get thrown back onto your bed. Nude body on complete display for them. Eddie's wide eyes stared at you. Venom had grown impatient. Deciding he could no longer wait to be inside you.
"I want her now, Eddie," Venom growled in his face.
Eddie dropped his jeans and boxers. Hard cock springing free. You felt your mouth watering at the sight. Spreading your legs, inviting them in. That burn inside you igniting again. He stepped in front of you on the edge of the bed. Hand gripping his erection, pumping it. His brows furrowed, "Not what I need." His head tilted to the side as he eyed your body.
His toned body leaned on top of yours. Muscles flexing as he held himself up, other hand guiding himself at your entrance. Circling your folds with the tip. "Fuck, Eddie," you moaned. Forcing yourself down on him just enough to take his head in. Eddie groaned at the feeling, "Ah- Y/N, goddammit."
Eddie planted a strong kiss against yours lips as he sheathed himself inside you. Rolling his hips, allowing you to adjust to him. An instant relief overtaking you both. Exactly what you needed.
You felt ooze touching every inch of your body. Venom wrapped himself around you, wanting to feel as close to you as Eddie was. Stimulating your sensitive body, pinching at your hardened nipples, wrapping around your wrists and interlocking with your fingers. Far more intimate than you thought he was capable of. "Pretty thing," his voice boomed inside your ears.
Eddie continued his thrusts inside you. Face contorted at the relief he felt. Your insides cooling the burn he had been feeling. Walls coaxing him further inside you, practically sucking him in. Needing him all over you. Loving the attention Venom was giving you. The symbiote finding his way down to your clit. Circling it.
Your back arched. Moaning loudly at the feeling. Overstimulation taking over your senses. Losing yourself as Eddie's cock hit the spongey spot inside you that had you seeing stars. Breath hitching in your throat as your eyes rolled back into your head. Your cunt contorted around his member as they got you closer to your edge.
"I could fuck you forever," Eddie groaned as he leaned down closer to you. Lips tangling together as your wrapped your arms and legs around him. Pulling your bodies flush together. Venom spreading across both your bodies. Connecting you more than you had ever been with anyone else. You began meeting Eddie's thrusts with your own. Needing him to fill you up.
"Want us to breed you?" Venom licked his lips, "Dirty girl..."
You and Eddie's eyes locked. Lust blown pupils staring into each other. Both your mouths hung open, sharing the same air. He cocked an eyebrow at you, asking the same question that Venom had.
"Cum inside me, Eddie," you moaned, breath escaping you as he thrusted harder into you.
Hips snapped into you. Harsh and sloppy thrusts. Venom continued circling your sensitivity in an attempt to get you both to finish at the same time.
"Come on, Eddie," Venom snarled, "Fill her cunt up."
Eddie's face rested in the crook of your neck as he searched for both your highs. Grunting with each snap of his hips. "Yo-You have the per-perfect pussy," Eddie praised you as he felt your walls begin to tighten around him.
You came undone around him. Walls spasming around his cock. Pushing him over his own edge. Eddie shot hot up inside you, coating your walls with his seed. Pushing himself as deep inside you as he could get. His body twitched with each rope he shot into you. Lips kissing your skin.
Eddie slumped his body onto yours unable to remove himself from your warmth. Savoring the feeling of you wrapped around him. Your hands rubbed his back, nails scratching at his skin. Hesitantly, Eddie rolled off of you. Pulling himself out. The mixture of juices inside you spilling out. Venom forcing it all back inside you.
You rested against his chest. The fire inside you finally subsiding. Both of your chests heaved with deep breaths. Bodies having been worked.
"You can stay here," you sighed.
"We would love that," Eddie kissed your head.
we both have two sides that no one knows
nightlclub birthday party!au
rich girl enemy!aeri x rich girl enemy!reader
content - smut (heated messy desperate hate sex, quickie, intoxicated sex, kinda exhibitionism, cunnilingus), alcohol consumption, written in the second person, fluff at the end if you squint
wc - 2740
a/n - omggg happy birthday my gigi!!! my loml, my only one, my pookie, my one true lover, my baddie from japan, my emo hot girl, my aeri uchinaga!!! god I love this woman and I wish her all the love and support and everything in between and beyond on this lovely october 30th <333 (it's the 31st...) (kinda rushed and bad but you'll let it go right? SHHH DON'T BOO ME AT LEAST IM BACK-)
you fucking hated aeri uchinaga's guts.
oh my god, this girl is the embodiment of nuisance, a rich bitch with daddy's money that stomps on people because of their status. she's such a brat and you absolutely loathe her, but so does she. she views you in the exact same way, just an asshole with her parents' money who doesn't give a fuck about anyone or anything. ironic isn't it? hating the carbon copy of yourself? maybe you both did hate yourselves, making it easy to hate one another. not that either of you would admit that, it must be because your parents' and hers' are rivals, which meant that applied to you both as well.
so you're both left to ponder why you decided to show up to her birthday party tonight, meeting eyes with aeri across the dimly lit and loud nightclub full of people. you both scoff almost at the same time at the sight of one another, the birthday girl rolling her eyes as soon as she sees you and you grimace in response. the faint smirk tugs at her lips the more she realizes that you're here. y/n l/n arriving at aeri uchinaga's birthday party? the two girls loathe one another, so why is this happening?
yunjin was at fault, saying you needed to get your mind off of things and party tonight. you interrogated her and scowled at the girl, wondering if she had any ulterior motive. you didn't realize the party tonight she'd be forcing you to go to was your nemesis' birthday celebration, cursing loudly at the dark-haired girl giggling at you. she didn't give a fuck, she responded with a nonchalant shrug and blew a kiss towards you as she pulled up to the valet.
you storm off towards the bar as the crowd all watches the iron gaze the pink-haired girl has on you. you down a few shots enough to feel your head buzz before you scoff to yourself. just because this is aeri's party doesn't mean you have to go down without a fight. after all, you are still better than her, she's nothing more than an annoying attention seeker. you can handle a little fire if that's what she decides to ignite.
"what the fuck do you think you're doing at my party?" the venom-laced voice snarks from behind you.
you down another drink, wiping your mouth before looking at her with an expression that annoys aeri to her core, "having fun, of course. why, do I bother you?"
she bites her lip and crosses her arms, the faux fur coat rustling on her shoulders as her chest pushes up against your face, "no, I couldn't give less of a fuck if you were here or not. I just think it's amusing that you were audacious enough to come. parents' money not enough to entertain you?"
"you say as if daddy didn't arrange a birthday party for you at the most popular club in the city," you snark back, leaning against the counter and getting up in her space, "clearly I'm not the one that needs entertaining."
she huffs in your face and twirls her pink locks in her fingers, "hm, consider me entertained then. you showed up to my party, how cute, no?"
aeri struts away but not before flashing a cocky smirk, flinging her sakura colored hair towards you. you trail her heatedly, "oh please, you've been bored all night till I showed up."
"heh, you're right," she admits, calling over her bare shoulder to you, "you've made things a lot more interesting."
the sea of people part before you two as you both traverse through the crowd, "now since you're here, why don't you play my games? it's only right to participate since you're my guest."
she turns and pushes you back against the couch you find yourself now sitting in a secluded room filled with her posse of spoiled brats all lined up in a circle resting against the large, round couch lining the private room. her friends snicker as soon as they realize it's you, some of their faces familiar, some of them new. you scowl as soon as you spot yunjin with her arm draped over some girl, realizing it's aeri's friend minjeong. she mimics a yawning gesture and waves her fingers at you in acknowledgement.
aeri places her hands on her hips and sighs, "let's play a classic, shall we?" she smirks as she picks up an empty soju bottle from the table, playing with it before placing it in the center and eyeing you.
you scoff, "spin the bottle? really? how old are you?" the room boos in response to your comment.
"why? scared? nervous y/n?" aeri mocks, her eyebrow cocked as her tongue trails across her lip curiously.
you feel a smirk tug at your lip, "no, not nearly as much as you are uchinaga."
you call her bluff as a pink the same shade of her hair spreads to her cheeks. whether it was the alcohol or embarrassment, it was too late, you already saw through her.
she clears her throat and acts as if her cheeks don't continue to heat up, lowering her large shades over her face and resting them on the tip of her nose, "oh whatever, we'll save the main event for last. jimin?"
she turns to the long haired girl on her side, letting her spin the bottle first. the tall girl reaches forward and spins it, the dim burgundy lighting bouncing off of the glass as it swiftly turns. the empty bottle slows and its tip points towards the other cute girl in the room sporting a bob. you recognize kim chaewon as she stands and licks her lips, jimin chuckling and reaching out towards her, dragging her by the hand to the small closet-like room next door. the room is filled with amused noises as you see yunjin and minjeong's expressions turn (which was the most amusing thing you saw).
you turn away from the love quarrel to face aeri's piercing stare, adjusting the glasses away from her face again and fixing her hair, her eyes staying on you. you accept her challenge, leaning back against the couch and tilting your head to the side, looking right at her with the same intensity. you watch as her finger traces her bottom lip, tugging at it with her nail and her eyes gradually trailing down your body, feasting on you.
you gulp at her stare filled with hunger, playing with the hem of your dark skintight dress between your fingers, rolling it up your crossed legs, letting more of your skin expose itself to her. your stick your tongue between your teeth as you pour yourself a shot and down it, the alcohol leaving a wet sheen on your lips that glimmered in the darkness. she observes your every movement, her eyes never leaving you for a moment.
you lick the alcohol off your lips slowly, your eyes taking the opportunity to wander her tempting figure, tracing every curve accentuated by her dress, your body heating up as you take in every inch of skin exposed to your sight. as your gaze trails her chest and prominent cleavage, falling around her plush thighs, she commands your attention back towards her as she taps on her knee and lifts her finger up.
a waiter stands next to you with drinks on his tray which you take and down, staring into aeri's eyes as she does the same. you feel the alcohol burn down your throat, rolling down until it sloshes with the concoction in your stomach. the buzz heats up your cheeks as jimin and chaewon return to the room, hair disheveled and lipstick smeared, no shame in their appearances.
the room's volume increases in cheers and noise as the smirks on the girls' faces fail to die down. chaewon, as the girl who was picked, has to pick the next person to spin the bottle. she picks up the empty glass, plays with it in her small hands and surveys the room with familiar faces and strangers. her eyes scan before landing on you, grin pulling at her cute face.
she trudges towards you and drops the bottle in your lap with a wink. she drags her feet away as the people cheer your turn, adjusting yourself and standing, dipping over the table in front of aeri, cleavage on full display for the girl gawking at you all night. you lean down and spin it, eyes locked onto the pink haired girl. the anticipation for the other end is high as everyone stares expectantly, the glass' hollow noises echoing through the ears of the players in the room, you and aeri never looking away from one another.
gasps fill the room as the bottle slows and comes to a stop, the tip aiming towards your one and only rival who's eyes are still trained on you. neither of you need to look down to know what happened, the uproar from the crowd of people surrounding you enough to understand. aeri stands and finally turns away, swaying towards the secluded room, and you follow immediately, the room an absolute mess of noise.
you follow aeri into the dark, small, closet-like room, the door shutting behind you both as you feel the pumping from the blasting music of the club behind the other side, the light leaking through enough to illuminate the older girl's features and figure. your bodies are close to each other, the heat emanating from one another as you can hear each other's breathing pick up.
"so much for main event for last huh-" you start to tease her.
"jesus, I wish you'd shut the fuck up already," she interrupts annoyedly before grabbing the back of your neck and smashing her lips against yours', pushing her body against yours' and pinning you to the wall behind you.
immediately, your body responds to her burning touch, kissing her back with the same ferocity, arms clinging around her and gripping her body. your hands drag over her curves, clutching at her dress to grab her flesh under it, digging your nails into her. she hisses into your mouth, breathing heavily against you as her soft lips bruise your needy ones.
you throw off her coat as she pulls your her mouth away to suck on your neck and chest, aeri's hot tongue trailing your exposed skin, her desperate lips leaving wet kisses as you thread your fingers through her luscious locks and pant against her. her strong arms have you pinned against the wall, clinging onto her body as she greedily ravishes your burning skin, causing you to moan out into the small but silent room, your noises filling only her ears to hear.
you feel the cocky girl smile against your skin as she continues to digs her face into you neck, sucking your skin and sinking her teeth into you, making you whimper and squeeze your eyes shut. you grab her biceps and pull her into you, forcing you to flip her against the wall as your eyes fall to her wet red lips, face flushed and eyes filled with pure lust, the desire to indulge in you building in her body. the sight ignites your primal need for the same thing.
you shove your tongue into her mouth and taste her, the combination of various alcohol and sweet lipstick filling your senses, becoming addicted to the taste of aeri uchinaga. your hands grip her thighs as you dig your fingers into her skin, trailing your hands up and under her dress, pushing the material up to her hips. her breath hitches in her throat as your fingertips trace her slit through the lingerie she wears.
you pull away from the heated kiss as a string of saliva connects the two of you, attaching your mouth to her neck. her chest rises and falls as you greedily lick her skin, the spit rolling down through her cleavage. you descend to your knees and leave wet kisses along her thick thighs, hands holding each one, gripping her as they wander around to her ass, sliding under the dress and pulling her panties down.
a sticky string of pleasure stretches as you drag her clothing down her thighs, her legs spreading in anticipation for your next movement. as badly as you want to tease her for being so ruined for you, you need her just as bad, looking up at her and staring into her desperate eyes, wild and dark with desire. continuing to gaze into aeri's needy eyes, you bring your mouth forward and swipe your tongue along her slit, sticking it in her hole and trailing it tortuously against her clit, her delicious wetness coating your tastebuds.
you watch as her eyes roll back and her body slumps against the wall, her head thrown backwards and a pleasured groan escapes her throat, her hand resting atop your head and lacing her fingers through your already messy hair. you lick once again, swirling the tip of your tongue around her pink and hot bud, making her thighs tremble on either side of your head, holding her legs apart and hooking your arms around them.
her hips buck into your mouth as you wrap your lips around her clit and suck, flicking your hot tongue across her pulsing nerves. profanities flow pathetically from your rival's mouth as you continue indulging in her, fluttering your eyes shut as you makeout with her clit. the grip on your hair tightens as her hand digs deeper through your locks, your hands caressing up and down her long legs. she grinds her hips into your mouth as your tongue slips into her leaking cunt, nose brushing her clit now, flicking your wet muscle against her aching walls.
the sound of her desperate and loud moaning resonates within the small room, her whimpers fill your ears and will you to keep going, the intent of stopping failing to comprehend in your intoxicated head, focused on eating the girl shaking in your hold out. you bury your face deep into her pussy, her cunt walls wrapping and sucking your tongue in, rolling the muscle into her and flicking it against the delicious most pleasurable spots inside, rubbing your nose against her throbbing clit. you bring your hand around to use your fingers and roll the pulsing bud in your fingertips, aeri whimpering above you, gathering her pleasure and your saliva to lubricate the aching clit.
you hum against her cunt, the sound reverberating through her body as her moaning becomes pleasurably loud, jutting her hips into your mouth full of her wetness. you moan into her pussy, the vibration throwing her over the edge, screaming your name out as she cums into your expectant mouth. you feel a rush of her juice flow into your mouth, the taste covering your tongue as you drink down every single drop. your tongue licks her cunt up, cleaning every inch of her pussy to devour her slick fully. you leave kisses along her shaking thighs, holding her up and letting her body relax against the wall behind her.
your core pounds against your dress as you stand shakily, your hands resting under her ass to support her. you kiss your way up her body, on top of her dress, not caring if she can't feel your warm lips, just wanting to make sure she knows you're here and can feel and hear you right in front of her. you observe her flushed face, eyes closed, head resting against the wall, pink hair disheveled beautifully, her chest rising and falling, a glistening sheen of perspiration on her skin across her neck, a goddess you call your rival at your mercy in your hands.
you trail your lips across her sweaty skin, kissing her shoulder and inching towards her neck.
"happy birthday, princess," you whisper in her ear as she giggles cutely, turning your face and pressing her forehead to yours.
"let's get out of here," aeri pants against your cum covered lips.
you kiss her in response, "okay, you still owe me an orgasm."
she bites your bottom lip, "it's my birthday."
━━ Sevika's Pov ━━
Sevika had two absolute certainties in life. The first was never to hesitate, because in the undercity, one second too long could cost you your life. The second, even more important, was never to meddle in Silco's personal affairs unless he directly ordered it. These seemingly simple rules had ensured her survival and her position alongside the most powerful man in Zaun. So why, in the name of everything sacred—or profane, in this case—was she standing there, hand halfway to the door of his office, reconsidering what seemed to be a trivial task?
The noise on the other side made her hesitate. Wood creaking, muffled but rhythmic. It didn't take a genius to figure out what was going on in there. Sevika raised an eyebrow, already feeling a mix of embarrassment and exasperation bubbling up. Seriously, boss?
She huffed as she debated internally whether it was worth interrupting or if it would be better to just come back later. She opted for the latter. It was safer—for both of them.
Turning back down the hallway, she spotted two guards posted near the stairs. "Hey!" she called, her deep voice cutting through the silence. "Don't let anyone upstairs, especially that blue-haired brat."
The two nodded without question, though one of them looked briefly confused before returning to his watch. Sevika didn't explain. It wasn't necessary, and she didn't have the patience to deal with stupid questions.
Back at the bar, she plopped herself down on one of the stools, resting her right forearm on the counter as she observed the nearly empty room. The night was already wearing thin, with only a few stubborn, lonely drunks still clinging to their bottles and cigarettes. She allowed a tired smile to slip, one that quickly turned into a low, ironic laugh.
If someone had told me Silco would ditch his paperwork to fuck, I'd have laughed in their face.
It was surreal. The man was the very definition of a workaholic, always with his head buried in conspiracies and strategies to keep Zaun under control. But two months ago, everything changed. Out of nowhere, Silco approached her asking about a decent brothel in the city. She didn't question it, because, after all, who was she to judge? Everyone needs a little relief now and then.
But things had taken an unexpected turn. She knew the girl—maybe too well. Those big, deceptively innocent eyes always hiding something. Sevika had always known there was more behind that angelic façade. Maybe that's exactly what had drawn Silco in. And, frankly, she even agreed: good taste couldn't be denied.
The sound of a glass sliding across the counter pulled her from her thoughts. The bartender was looking at her, wearing the expression of someone who already knew what she wanted. Sevika grabbed the glass and downed the amber liquid in one go.
"Another." she ordered curtly, pushing the glass back toward him.
As she waited, Sevika let her eyes wander around the room, though her mind was still stuck on the scene. Silco, so methodical, so controlled... and now? Succumbing to his own desires. He wasn't even completely sure that it was the same woman from years ago, and yet he orchestrated all of this to have her around. She wasn't sure whether to find it amusing or concerning.
Whatever he's scheming, it better be worth the effort.
When the next glass arrived, she held it between her fingers, swirling the liquid before taking another long sip. At least tonight, she'd allow herself a few moments of peace.
"Tough night?" the bartender asked, his tone casual, as if he already knew the answer.
Sevika grunted, not even bothering to look up. Small talk was far from her priority. She emptied the glass in one gulp, feeling the warmth of the whiskey burn its way down her throat, momentarily easing the irritation brewing inside her.
"Is it true Silco's keeping a girl up there?" the bartender let slip, leaning over the counter with barely concealed curiosity. His voice was low, but the words carried too much weight for Sevika's liking.
She paused, spinning the empty glass between her fingers before glaring at him over the rim with evident impatience.
"Who told you that?"
"One of the morning shift guards." the man shrugged like it was no big deal. "Said they were ordered to let a woman in but not out. Thought kidnapped folks stayed at the warehouse, not here."
Sevika scoffed, rolling her eyes as she poured herself another drink. It was always the same with people like that: gossips who didn't know when to keep their mouths shut.
"She's different."
The bartender simply nodded, wiping the counter with a rag that, to Sevika, seemed more dirty than useful. Finally, silence returned, and she silently thanked the universe for the reprieve. Or at least for a few seconds. Because, of course, he couldn't keep his mouth shut for long.
"Wait! That woman, is she THAT... prostitute?" he asked, his voice laden with a curiosity that bordered on offensive.
Before Sevika could deliver a cutting response, a high-pitched voice sliced through the room like a knife.
"What's a prostitute?"
Sevika turned her head toward the voice, as did the bartender, and both found Jinx standing at the damned bar counter, hands on her hips and her eyes sparkling with curiosity, as if she were genuinely interested in the answer.
"How the hell did you get here at this hour?" Sevika asked, slamming her glass onto the table with force. Her patience, already worn thin, was nearly gone. "Shouldn't you be in your room or, I don't know, in your cage?"
Jinx made a face, an attempt at intimidation that wouldn't have scared a mouse.
"I don't live in a cage, you one-armed brute."
Sevika rolled her eyes. "Great. Just what I needed." without another word, she slid off the stool, grabbed the girl without any care, and slung her over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
"Hey! Put me down, you savage!" Jinx started thrashing, kicking the air and grumbling like a feral cat.
Sevika kept walking, unbothered. She was used to the brat's dramatics, but her patience wasn't infinite, especially after the night she'd already endured.
"Keep squirming like that, and I'll let you fall flat on your face." Sevika muttered, an empty threat she'd never dare follow through on, considering how much Silco doted on the girl. "You're not going upstairs."
Sevika thought about how the situation had spiraled into something even more ridiculous than she'd anticipated. Not that she really cared about Jinx—"Babysitter? Not a chance in hell."—but the last thing she wanted was to deal with the trauma of a kid discovering what her "dad" did behind closed doors. Even Zaun had its limits to chaos.
Jinx ignored the threat entirely, her fists pounding against Sevika's back with as much force as her skinny arms could muster. "Why not? Is it because of that prostitute? I don't even know what that is!"
"If you stop squirming, I'll tell you on the way."
To Sevika's surprise, Jinx actually went quiet.
Silco's Pov ━━━━━━━༺༻━━━━━━━
Silco looked at her body, her hair spread over the table as he thrust into her from behind. He loved how her skin felt against his, and the way she moaned softly whenever he touched her. Her body was so soft and warm, and he couldn't get enough of it. He held her wrists tightly behind her back as he pounded into her, his hips slapping against her ass with each thrust. Silco could feel his own pleasure building up inside him, but he held back, wanting to make this last as long as possible. He wanted to savor every moment of having she beneath him, submitting to his every desire.
Silco's thoughts were a jumbled mess of lust and desire. He loved how responsive she was to his touch, how she seemed to melt under him as he claimed her body. He knew he was being rough with her, but he couldn't help himself. The rough, animalistic nature of their coupling was a stark contrast to the refined elegance of his office, and he reveled in the delicious contradiction.
As he fucked her harder and faster, Silco leaned down and bit her shoulder, leaving a mark on her skin, which made her whine even more. He loved the idea of claiming her, of making sure everyone knew that she belonged to him now. She was his, and his alone, and he would make sure she never forgot it.
"My lovely dove." he growled into her ear, his breath hot against her skin. "All mine."
Silco felt her body trembling beneath him as he continued to thrust into her, his grip on her wrists loosening slightly. He could feel her pushing back against him, her hips meeting his with each stroke. He released her wrists completely and pulled her back against his chest, wrapping one arm around her waist and the other snaking up to grip her throat lightly. He didn't squeeze, just held her in place as he slowed his pace, savoring the feel of her tight heat surrounding him.
Silco's mind drifted to thoughts of the future, he would keep her by his side for a long time, that was for sure. He had no intention of losing her and even though his thoughts darkened, imagining every single thing he would do to her, Silco found himself becoming increasingly tender with her. He wanted to worship her body, to show her the depths of his desire even though she was angry with him and technically just doing her part of the deal. But for now, he contented himself with the feel of her in his arms, her body pressed against his as he continued to thrust into her.
"That's it..." his lips brushing against her ear as he whispered to her. "You're doing so well for me."
He wondered if she knew what she was getting herself into, if she understood the depths of having made that deal. She herself had said that accepting something from him was not so different from agreeing with the devil, which ironically she had done. But then again, he didn't really care. All that mattered was that she was his now. The thought sent a shiver of excitement down his spine, and he thrust harder, deeper, claiming her body as his own.
Silco's hand slid down from her hip to between her legs, his fingers finding her clit. He rubbed slow, firm circles, matching the rhythm of his thrusts. He could feel her tensing beneath him, her breath coming faster and harder. He knew she was close.
He leaned down and nuzzled her neck, his lips brushing against her skin as he whispered to her. "You're so beautiful like this." he murmured, his voice low and husky with desire. "It's okay... Let go. I've got you."
Silco continued to rub her clit, his fingers slick with her arousal. He could feel her tensing beneath him, her breath coming in short, sharp gasps. And then, with a final thrust of his hips, he felt her coming undone. Her walls clenched around him, her body shaking with the force of her orgasm. He held her close, his arm wrapped tightly around her waist as he continued to thrust, drawing out her pleasure for as long as possible.
Only then, when he knew she had finished, did he allow himself to let go. With a harsh groan, he buried himself deep inside her, his own release pulsing through him. He collapsed against her back, his chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath.
Silco pulled out of her slowly, savoring the feeling of her walls fluttering around him as he withdrew. He stood for a moment, watching as she collapsed onto the table, her body spent and limp. He couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction, of pride, at having brought her to such heights of pleasure.
He moved to his chair and sat down, his gauze never leaving her as he fixed his pants. She looked so small, so fragile like this. It was a stark contrast to the strong, defiant woman he knew
He leaned forward and grabbed her by the waist, pulling her off the table and onto his lap. He didn't care about the mess, about the fluids smearing across his pants. All he cared about was having her close, feeling her warmth against his skin.He wrapped his arms around her, holding her tight against his chest. He could feel her heartbeat, slow and steady, matching his own. He knew he should let her go, let her clean up and rest. But he couldn't bring himself to do it. He wanted to keep her here, in his arms, for as long as possible.
Even though the weight of exhaustion clawed at his every muscle, Silco refused to relinquish her. His arms remained locked around her, firm yet careful, as if afraid she might slip away the moment he loosened his grip. The embrace was neither casual nor fleeting—it lingered, speaking volumes in the silence. It was an act that could mean many things: dominance, possession, a fleeting moment of vulnerability. But most disturbingly, in a way so distorted it almost felt like sin—affection.
Her head rested against his shoulder, her breathing still uneven, the faint tremor in her body betraying just how far she'd been pushed. He rested his chin on top of her head, breathing in the scent of her hair.
She was undone. Raw. Stripped of the mask she so often wore—the provocative, infuriating facade that seemed designed solely to challenge him at every turn. Here, in his arms, she was something closer to her truest self, a woman laid bare by the weight of her own humanity.
And God help him, he enjoyed both versions.
The stubborn, sharp-tongued temptress who dared to stand toe-to-toe with him, who infuriated and intrigued him in equal measure—that version of her was a spark, a fire he couldn't help but want to stoke. But this? This quieter, unguarded moment? This was something else entirely. A glimpse of the woman beneath the armor.
His hand moved almost unconsciously, fingers brushing against the damp strands of her hair before trailing down to rest at the nape of her neck. His touch was uncharacteristically gentle, a rare softness that would have shocked anyone who knew him. And though he told himself it was a fleeting act of charity, of magnanimity, the truth was far more selfish. He simply liked holding her this way.
"You'll ruin me."
Her voice was barely a whisper, so faint it might have been lost in the stillness of the room if not for the fact that Silco was holding her so close. It was raw, unguarded, and it hung in the air between them like the blade of a guillotine, poised to fall.
He didn't respond. He didn't need to. Her words weren't a question, nor did they require an answer. They were a truth, a bitter acknowledgment of the tangled web they'd both willingly stepped into. And it wasn't as if he could deny it, anyway. Ruin was inevitable, and it was something she had said herself during their earlier clash. This was simply the echo of her own warning, now laden with the weight of their proximity.
Silco tightened his grip around her in lieu of words, pulling her just a fraction closer, as if to say, Yes, I will. And you'll let me.
"Rest." he commanded, his voice softer now, though still tinged with that unyielding authority that brooked no argument. His hand splayed firmly across her back, anchoring her against him. "For once, don't argue. Just rest."
Without resistance, she surrendered to sleep in his arms, her breathing evening out as her body grew heavy with exhaustion. Silco stayed there, unmoving, his eyes half-lidded as he stared out into the dim haze of Zaun's morning light filtering faintly through the industrial gloom. The sounds of the city, muted and distant, echoed faintly through the room: the hiss of steam pipes, the clatter of machinery, and the occasional murmur of voices far below. It was a sound he'd grown so accustomed to that it often faded into the background, yet in this moment, it seemed louder, more insistent.
His eyes drifted to the ceiling, tracing the familiar cracks and shadows that had once provided solace in the solitude of his nights. But this morning, they seemed to mock him. Unbidden, the memory crept in — that bridge, the suffocating smoke, the acrid sting of betrayal. He could almost hear the anguished screams and the crackle of fire, smell the blood and oil mingling in the air. That day had been a reckoning, one where every choice he made seemed to collapse beneath the weight of inevitability.
The bridge where Felicia died.
The bridge where Vander betrayed him.
Silco's jaw tightened, and he exhaled sharply through his nose, as if expelling the memory itself. He would not dwell on it. What was done could not be undone, and revisiting the past served no purpose. Regret was for the weak, and Silco had no patience for weakness — not in others, and certainly not in himself.
Still, the ghost of that day lingered at the edges of his mind, a specter of all that had gone wrong. Choices that had seemed so clear, so righteous at the time, had led only to ruin. The kind of ruin that left scars too deep to heal, both on the body and on the soul.
His fingers twitched slightly, tightening their hold on her for just a moment before loosening again. She stirred faintly in her sleep but didn't wake, her face soft and unguarded in a way that tugged at something deep within him.
Ruins were where he had been forged. And if ruin was where he would return, he would do so on his own terms.
━━━━━━━༺༻━━━━━━━
You felt your body sinking. The underwater currents were relentless, tossing you back and forth like a lifeless ragdoll as the darkness closed in around you. You realized the faint shimmer of the surface was growing farther and farther away. But, strangely, there was no panic. There was no desperation to fight, no frantic hands trying to reach for that light. Something inside you decided that here, in the depths, would be your final resting place.
The silence of the water, the relentless cold, the sense of abandonment. It all made a morbid kind of sense. You let your arms float beside you, surrendering to the darkness that clouded your vision.
But then, something changed.
You felt a tug at the collar of your shirt—rough and unexpected. There was no gentleness in the motion, only urgency. You tried to open your eyes, but the water burned your retinas, leaving everything blurred. Still, you could tell you were rising—fast. The muffled sound of the water became a chaotic mix of bubbles and currents. Something—or someone—was determined to save you.
"Stay with me, little one. Hold on."
Then you finally managed to open your eyes. The cracked ceiling, marked by softly dancing shadows, was the first thing you saw as you returned to reality. There was no longer the sensation of being submerged, nor the voice that had seemed so close just moments before. Vander's voice had felt so real, but now it was just a distant echo, as unreachable as the rest of your memories. A deep emptiness settled over you. It had been so long since you'd felt something like this. Maybe since... Well, better not to think about it.
Sitting up slowly, you took a better look at the room around you. It was comfortable, simple, functional. It had everything a room needed but lacked any personal touch, giving it a cold, almost impersonal feel. The lighting was far too dim for your taste, with shadows pooling in the corners.
That's when you noticed: your clothes were arranged neatly, as was your lower body, with no trace of what you had done hours earlier on that damned table. Silco had likely cleaned and adjusted everything. He'd even ensured you rested without wrecking your back, unlike before on the couch—ironic, coming from someone like him. On the nightstand, a pitcher of water and a glass waited for you, without notes, without explanations.
You poured yourself a glass, feeling the cool liquid soothe the dryness in your throat as you leaned back against the headboard. The weight of the situation finally hit you. You were screwed, weren't you?
For someone who prided themselves on being immune to Silco's games, who claimed—proudly—that they'd never be manipulated, here you were: completely caught in his web. And worse, you were here willingly.
But it had to be worth it. It had to be.
Your mind spun, piecing together the fragments of information you had gathered so far. Silco and his supposed "daughter." Jinx. It was impossible to ignore the gaping hole this story left in your reasoning. Silco had no wife, and absolutely nothing about the man suggested he could have maintained a relationship close enough to father a child. In fact, you might be the closest thing to that.
So why had Finn hinted that Jinx was a scandal?
You pieced the fragments together hesitantly, almost afraid of what it might mean. What if Jinx was... Powder?
The thought was absurd. Or, perhaps, not so much. After the night of the massacre, the only bodies reportedly found were those of Vander, Mylo, and Claggor. There was no trace of Violet or Powder. It was unlikely that both had survived, but unlikely didn't mean impossible.
What if Powder was alive? What if Silco had found her in the chaos and taken her in? The idea was horrifying, yet it made a disturbing amount of sense. Could that be the origin of the scandal? That Silco had taken Powder, turning her into the weapon he now called Jinx?
You closed your eyes for a moment, trying to organize your thoughts. It was all speculation. You had no proof, just disconnected hints. But it didn't matter. You would find out who Jinx was, no matter the cost. And if there was even the slightest chance of finding Violet or Powder, you wouldn't waste it. You had made a promise to Vander on his deathbed. You would find and protect his daughters, and Silco might just be the key to achieving that.
If the hunt for Jinx led nowhere, you could still use Silco's resources covertly to track down anything about them. Even if it was just their bones so you could finally have some closure.
You didn't know how long you sat there lost in thought until your own body protested from staying in the same position for too long.
Rising from the bed with your resolve renewed, you stretched slightly, your muscles still complaining from the strain. You crossed the room toward the door, but before you could touch it, it was abruptly opened. Standing before you was that same tattooed man from the previous morning, his face carrying the same expression of near-permanent indifference. He tilted his chin up in a simple gesture before saying:
"Silco wants to see you."
Without even waiting for your response, he turned and began walking down the corridor. You hesitated for a moment but eventually followed. As you walked, you noticed how the Last Drop was surprisingly busy for that time of morning. Men and women were engaged in various tasks, carrying crates, adjusting equipment, and speaking in hushed tones. It was a completely different scene from the almost ghostly atmosphere of the day before when you had arrived.
Not that you were surprised by this change, not after everything Silco had been pulling.
You arrived at the infamous door to Silco's office. The tattooed man knocked twice, firmly, before announcing: "Sir, I've brought her."
The response came almost instantly, and the door opened, revealing a familiar figure.
Ah, yes. Her.
The woman was there, her imposing presence intact, though her eyes carried a weary air, as if she hadn't slept in weeks. There was something both unsettling and captivating about her posture—her shoulders squared, her chin slightly tilted upward, as if daring the world to knock her down. For a brief moment, your eyes met. You held her gaze, tilting your head slightly, until a memory flashed in your mind like lightning.
Oh...
Now you remembered where you knew her from.
She seemed to notice your realization, but said nothing. She simply stepped aside, creating space for you to enter the office.
You crossed the room with the confidence of someone who felt at home—even if you weren't. Your steps echoed lightly in the space as you stopped in front of Silco's desk. He held some papers in his hands, apparently reports, his eyes scanning the text with calm precision. He didn't bother to look at you, as if your presence was expected but not significant enough to interrupt his focus.
You stopped in front of him, crossing your arms and shifting your weight slightly to one side. "Should I assume I've been summoned for something important, or did you just want my company this morning?"
He merely gestured with his hand, dismissing the two people still in the office. Yet, even as the door closed, he remained in that position for a few more seconds, calmly finishing whatever was written on the papers before setting them aside. Only then did he lean back in his chair.
"Well, keeping me company is part of your new job, isn't it?" His voice was low and velvety, carrying a familiarity that bothered you as much as it intrigued you. With a lazy gesture, he indicated the chair in front of him. "Sit. We have matters to discuss."
Without wasting time, you settled into the chair, crossing your legs in a deliberate motion, assuming the posture of someone ready to play at the same level. If Silco wanted to turn this into a performance of business negotiations, you wouldn't fall behind.
"I've been thinking." his voice smooth as silk. "Perhaps our agreement needs a few... adjustments. Some additional clauses, so to speak."
Silco leaned back slightly, his fingers interlaced beneath his chin, the posture of someone entirely in control of the situation. "But before we get to that, I think it's wise to review the main terms of our current arrangement. Just to ensure we're aligned."
You shrugged with feigned indifference, though irritation pulsed beneath the surface. Of course, you knew every line of that damned agreement. How could you forget something that had been presented more as an ultimatum than a real negotiation? When Silco proposed the deal, you barely had a chance to voice your opinion. Not that your opinion would have mattered much—the power in that room belonged exclusively to him.
If he wanted to, he could have simply imprisoned you, tied you to a bed, keeping you captive by force. In fact, considering Silco's style, perhaps he still might—but in a twisted way, involving power games and sex.
When he presented the contract the night before, the scene was almost comical. You weren't even remotely surprised to see that he already had the document prepared, flawlessly drafted, waiting only for you to sign your name. However, what truly surprised you was that he agreed to some of your conditions, though they were few.
"Go ahead."
Silco then pulled the paper from the drawer, placing the document on the table with the two signature spaces clearly visible: one with his name, marked by that precise and meticulous handwriting, and the other with your name, marked by the nervous haste of your rushed signature.
"You agreed to spend three weeks of each month at my service." he began to read, his voice low and laden with an authority that sent shivers down your spine. "You will serve me in whatever way I deem necessary. This includes physically, of course. In return, I will provide you with everything you need, as well as ensuring your safety and comfort."
He paused, his eyes following the text with the precision of someone who had recited these words countless times. His expression was one of absolute delight behind the indifferent façade; you could tell he was savoring every syllable he uttered. Every detail seemed carefully crafted to trap you.
"And during the fourth and final week of that same month, you will have your freedom. I will not touch you, nor demand anything from you. You will be free to do as you please, within reasonable limits."
Silco pushed the folder toward you, the gesture as casual as it was threatening. "Naturally, you will have an escort at all times. To ensure your safety and to prevent you from deciding to run. After all, I wouldn't want to lose my new toy so soon."
You took the contract, your eyes scanning the words you already knew. But before you could even pretend to conduct a detailed review, Silco's voice cut through the air again, laced with something almost playful.
"Now, dove." his soft tone masked the venom behind his words. "Please, say out loud what the consequences are for breaking your part of the agreement."
Your gaze shot up from the paper to him. Your superficial reading stopped at that sentence, your fingers clutching the document tightly enough to crease it slightly. Of course, he was going to demand this. It was Silco's arrogance at its peak, forcing you to admit the terms you despised aloud. His smile widened as he noticed your hesitation. He was savoring the moment—every second of your reluctance was a small victory for him.
"If I break the agreement, all the freedom granted to me will be revoked. I will be under your constant supervision, without any autonomy." you wanted to kick him under the table, but you forced yourself to continue without resorting to violence. "And I will be subject to whatever punishments you deem appropriate, with no right to question or refuse them."
You hated the way he looked at you in that moment. That intense, cruel gaze that made every hair on your body stand on end. It wasn't just the intensity—it was what lay beneath it. There was something deeply wrong about the satisfaction Silco displayed, the twisted pleasure in reminding you, silently, of the reach of his power in Zaun—and now, over every aspect of your life.
He tilted his head slightly, the treacherous smile playing on his lips. "And?" he pressed, his voice low, its softness nothing more than a façade. "Don't keep me waiting. Say the rest."
You swallowed hard, choking down the rising urge to unleash a string of curses at him. Instead, you responded with a coldness you didn't truly feel.
"You would burn the brothel."
The words were difficult to say, but you forced them out, trying to mask the vulnerability they carried. In Zaun, few things could really hurt you. With no family and no significant ties left, you believed you were beyond the reach of emotional threats. But then, there was the brothel. And Silco knew it.
Not that you particularly liked the work of being a prostitute. As you had told Silco the day you first met, it wasn't as though you had much of a choice. It was a job that didn't attract attention, and that was exactly what you needed.
But the brothel wasn't just a workplace. The people there, even if they weren't your closest friends, were something you could call your community. Co-workers, confidants on hard nights, people who had shared the same roof with you since Babette took you in. She gave you a chance when no one else would—a place to stay, a job to support yourself, a sense of stability in a world that seemed to crumble around you. And now, because of you, the brothel was in danger. Just like Kate had been... and you knew how that ended.
He leaned back in his chair with the confidence of a king on his throne, intertwining his fingers beneath his chin. "Ah, yes. The brothel. Such a charming establishment, isn't it? It would be such a shame if something were to happen to it."
"Just say what you want to add, Silco."
The words came out steady, but you knew they weren't enough to fool him. Silco always caught the nuances—the smallest cracks in your façade, the ones you tried so hard to hide. And there he was, with that almost imperceptible smile, carved perfectly to provoke you. It was the kind of expression that made you feel as though, somehow, he was always in control.
"Always so direct." he murmured in that slow, deliberate voice, reaching for a cigar from the drawer. The way he handled it was almost theatrical, every movement carefully calculated to stretch out your anxiety. "Well, the proposal is more of a suggestion. I believe it would be far more convenient if you moved into one of the rooms at the Last Drop. During the weeks you're serving me, you would stay there."
You blinked. Once, twice. His words echoed in your head as you tried to absorb the weight of what he was saying. When you agreed to the arrangement, there had at least been one small consolation: the idea that, at the end of each day, you could return to the place you called home. Your little space. Your bubble of freedom. A place where you could continue your investigation far from Silco's watchful eyes and maybe remind yourself that you were still a person, not just his "property."
But now, even that illusion was being taken from you.
"This is your way of keeping me under custody?"
Silco laughed. A low, rough, and dangerously amused sound that sent a shiver down your spine. He leaned forward, resting his elbows on the desk as he watched you with an unwavering gaze. The intensity of his orange irises, like burning embers, held you captive even when you wanted to look away.
"Keeping you under my custody?" he repeated, with a mock indignation so convincing it was infuriating. "Dove, you've wounded me deeply with such a heinous accusation. I thought we had something special here."
He lit the cigar with a silver lighter, the metallic click echoing in the heavy silence of the room. The scent of tobacco began to fill the air, mingling with the almost tangible tension. Silco took a deep drag, exhaling the smoke with a sigh that seemed laden with satisfaction.
"But, if you insist on putting it that way..." he let the sentence linger, releasing another slow puff of smoke before continuing, as though savoring the moment for as long as he could. Dragging it out too much for your taste. "Yes, I suppose that's exactly what I'm doing."
You couldn't stop yourself from rolling your eyes—a gesture meant to be full of disdain but softening into an ironic smile you couldn't quite suppress. There was something about Silco—that poisonous mix of brutal honesty and blatant manipulation—that left you unsure whether you should hate him or just play the game alongside him.
Somehow, his cruel transparency made it impossible to be as angry as you should have been. Deep down, what you really wanted was to cross the desk and punch him, but instead, you just raised an eyebrow, defiant.
"You're unbelievable, you know that?"
You stood up from the chair calmly, your eyes locked onto Silco's as you made your way around the desk. He, of course, followed every step with that sharp, almost predatory gaze. As you rounded the desk, you noticed the subtle way he adjusted in his chair, shifting slightly to track your movements as though he anticipated exactly what was coming next.
Without hesitation, you climbed onto his lap, sitting as if it were the most natural, casual thing in the world. Ironically, it was. Silco had, in an unexpected way, become your favorite "seat" and you were sure he was well aware of it.
"So." your tone deliberately provocative as your hands came to rest on his shoulders, "I don't think I have any other choice but to accept this clause. Although, I do have a few conditions."
Interest flickered in his eyes, but it was in the blue one that you noticed something new. His pupil dilated slightly—a reaction you'd never observed before. A small detail, but one that, in that moment, felt like a silent triumph. Silco leaned back in the chair, his body relaxing as though he'd already won the argument. He brought the cigar to his lips, taking a long drag before exhaling the smoke to the side, away from you. It was an unexpectedly considerate gesture—almost... sweet, if you had the nerve to admit it out loud.
His free hand, however, didn't waste any time. His fingers began to wander over your body, gliding along the curve of your waist, lingering at the line of your hip, before settling firmly on your thigh. The touch was possessive, demanding, as if he wanted to remind both you—and himself—that, in this moment, you were his.
"And what might these conditions be?"
You didn't answer immediately. Instead, you reached out and, without a hint of shame or hesitation, took the cigar from his hand. Silco's eyes narrowed slightly, but he didn't protest. You brought the cigar to your lips, inhaling with the ease of someone who had done it a hundred times before—even though it was your first.
The bitter taste filled your mouth, and the smoke wrapped around your senses. You exhaled slowly, letting the smoke escape deliberately as you kept your gaze fixed on his. There was something intensely intimate in the exchange, a sexual charge you hadn't planned but now felt inevitable.
"I want permission to roam freely around here." you said at last, your voice calm but carrying an undeniable tone of firmness. "After all, when you don't need me, I'll need some way to entertain myself, don't you think?"
You smiled—that mischievous smile that had gotten you into trouble more times than you could count. It was the same smile that, in a way, had landed you in this situation with Silco in the first place. "A fair request, in my opinion."
Silco remained silent for a moment, his eyes locked on yours. He seemed to be considering your words, but you could tell it was more than that. He was savoring the scene—every detail about you. The way you held the cigar, your posture on his lap, the interplay of smoke curling around your face... He seemed entranced.
"Permission to wander freely, hm?" Silco finally broke the silence, his voice heavy with provocation as his fingers on your thigh tightened their grip slightly. "I suppose that's reasonable, but don't think for a second that I won't be watching you."
You maintained your composure, letting the cigar's smoke fill your lungs before leaning slightly closer to him. As you exhaled, you released the smoke near his lips, watching as his blue eye darted momentarily to your mouth while the orange one stayed fixed on you. It carried a silent threat, a void of unspoken challenge that seemed to dare you to keep testing his limits.
"That's more than enough for me."
Boldly, you let your lips brush against his in a touch so fleeting it was almost ghostly, before pressing a gentle kiss—light, without any intent to deepen it. But as you began to pull away, you didn't get far. Almost instantly, Silco's hand gripped a fistful of your hair, firm but not harsh, pulling you back to him.
And it was he who deepened the kiss.
Silco's lips crashed against yours with a demanding, possessive force. There was nothing gentle or hesitant about it; he was taking what he wanted, and you knew in that moment, it was you. His tongue invaded your mouth with unrelenting confidence, exploring and claiming every inch. The taste of smoke lingered on his tongue, the bitterness of tobacco blending with an unexpected hint of sweetness—a contrast as singular as Silco himself.
There was something more in that kiss, something that sent shivers racing through your body as he held you captive within it. The last time the two of you had kissed, it had been different: rage had clouded your mind, turning the contact into a fierce clash. But now... now it was something else entirely. There was still roughness—Silco wasn't a man who did anything softly—but the hatred, the defiance, was absent.
If someone asked why you had kissed him, you could lie. You could claim it was a calculated move to ensure he wouldn't rescind his agreement to your request. A strategic play, nothing more. But deep down, you knew that would only be half the truth. The reality was, something within you had driven you to do it, to seek out that connection again, even if you didn't want to admit it.
You provoked him because you knew Silco would take the lead. It had always been that way. No matter how much you wanted to, it was never going to be you who initiated. Not with him. The power always had to appear to be on his side, even when you managed to twist it to your advantage.
The cigar slipped from your fingers, hitting the ground with a muffled thud. You registered the faint sound, your mind distantly aware of the minimal chance the ember might start a fire. Yet you didn't move to pick it up. Instead, your hands rested against Silco's chest, attempting to support your weight and keep your body from fully collapsing against his. Though, by the way he pulled you closer, it was clear that idea didn't bother him in the slightest.
A rough sound escaped Silco's lips—a low, restrained groan that you almost thought you'd imagined. Almost. His grip on your hair tightened, angling your head perfectly so he could deepen the kiss even further. His other hand wasn't idle; it moved slowly along the length of your thigh, his fingers pressing into your flesh with enough force to leave a mark.
When Silco finally broke the kiss, his lips began to trace a path along your jaw to your neck, his breath hot against your skin. You couldn't stop yourself—your body arched toward his, as if responding to an unspoken command.
"Don't provoke me, dove," he growled against your skin. "You know very well what happens when you do."
You laughed, but the sound came out short, almost breathless. It was hard to concentrate when Silco kept trailing kisses down your neck, occasionally interrupted by sharp nips that left your skin throbbing with sensitivity. One particular bite was harder, enough to draw a small gasp from you. Your body reacted instinctively, jolting slightly in his lap—and that was enough to elicit a sharp intake of breath from Silco.
From the way his eyes glinted and his grip on your thigh tightened, you knew he was just as affected as you were.
"Why not?" you murmured, a mischievous smile playing on your lips as you tried to catch your breath. "We're already in position, after all."
Silco pulled back slightly, just enough for you to see his expression. The gleam in his eyes, especially the blue one, was a dangerous mix of amusement and something darker, more intense. It was as if your words had sparked a new idea in his mind, one he was clearly considering with.
"Why not, indeed?" his hands slid to your hips, gripping them firmly as he pulled you even closer, as if it were possible to get any nearer. "Especially when you seem to enjoy this position so much."
Your fingers traced the contours of his face, exploring the unique texture of the scarred skin. When you reached the rougher, uneven area, you noticed something you hadn't before: a slight layer of powder there, likely applied to soften the appearance of the scar. You frowned slightly, intrigued. A question hovered on the tip of your tongue, but you decided to save it for another moment. After all, provoking Silco was always more interesting.
The prolonged touch seemed to captivate him, his gaze locked on yours as you explored his face with your fingertips. A charged tension lingered between you, and you realized that, in that moment, he was completely at your mercy—even if he hadn't noticed it himself.
"Well..." your voice carrying a faintly teasing tone, "You're the one above everyone in Zaun, so it's only fair someone gets to be above you, isn't it?"
With a mischievous smile, you shifted your hips slightly, emphasizing your words with the movement. The effect was immediate. Silco drew in a sharp breath, his own hips moving almost instinctively to match your motion.
"Someone has to keep things balanced around here." your tone suggesting the idea amused you. "Besides, you don't seem the least bit bothered by it."
His hands gripped your hips more tightly, his fingers digging into your flesh in a possessive gesture that nearly knocked the air out of your lungs. He stared at you now with an intensity that made your heart race. There was nothing innocent about that look. On the contrary, the gleam in his eyes seemed almost profane, as if he were contemplating something both sinful and indulgent.
He leaned forward, his lips brushing against your ear. The closeness sent a shiver through your skin, and his voice, low and gravelly, seemed designed to ignite something inside you.
"Bothered?" he murmured, each word weighted with a gravity that made your stomach flip. "Not in the slightest, dove. In fact, I'd say I'm enjoying the view from here. The way you look at me from above, with those eyes..." he paused, his warm breath fanning over your skin. "It's enough to bring a man to his knees."
You couldn't help the smile that curved your lips, a hint of amusement and even satisfaction at having him in this position. But the smile lasted only a second. Before you could even respond, you felt his fingers gripping your chin, firm, almost possessive, tilting your face so he could look directly at you.
The tone of his voice shifted. The soft murmur now carried a raw authority, irresistible, as though he'd decided exactly what would happen next.
"But I prefer you in this position."
The intensity of his words made something in your chest tighten—not with fear, but with anticipation. In that moment, you knew exactly where this was going. He tilted his head slightly, as if savoring your expression before continuing.
"Now, be a good girl and get on your knees."
Part 7
AUTHOR'S NOTES: Please read. I said I'd be back and I'm going to give you a spoiler: the next chapter it will be completely in Silco's POV and with a dose more smut than it normally would have. So suggest kinks that you'd like to see written in this series (I already have what I want to write in mind, but if I see an interesting idea that fits I'll add it, remember I can always use your idea in another chapter) And yes, in this story we fuck with Sevika! Remember when Babette tells VI that she's a regular customer at the brothel? I took this canon very seriously, but don't worry, there won't be a love triangle. Btw did you like Jinx's quick appearance in the chapter? (and yes, technically she would know what a prostitute is, but in my canon I can imagine VI punching Mylo at the exact moment he opens his mouth to explain. Our VI would protect our little and innocent Powder) I'll probably be back next year so HAPPY NEW YEAR! See you again in 2025.
I Love You, I'm Sorry
masterlist! | read part 2 here!
synopsis: when vi betrays you in favor of caitlyn, all she can say is 'i love you, i'm sorry,' before watching as she tears your heart from your chest and grinds it into the dirt
pairings: vi x reader
Tumblr media
“Really, Vi?” You practically spat, face to face with a girl you thought you knew. “You’re running with the enforcers now? Since when were you a bluebelly?”
The grimace on her face was set in firm lines, hard and unyielding and so unlike the Vi you once knew. This was her—same powder blue eyes, same fiery pink hair, same cheekbones, same lip shape, but your Vi would never betray you like this.
“This is for you, this is for Zaun,” god, even the words tasted like a lie on her tongue, but she wouldn’t admit it. “Jinx is a danger to us both topside and here in the undercity. You should know that!”
“Is that the lie you’re telling yourself to justify this!?” You were practically vibrating with anger, fists clenched tightly at your sides. “I loved you, Vi. What are you doing?”
Vi’s face twisted, a crack of pain breaking through her tough facade. “I—” she started, but her words fell apart.
The silence that stretched between you felt louder than the pounding of your heart. You could barely breathe, your chest heaving with rage, disbelief, and heartbreak.
“You loved me? Don’t you dare use that in the same breath as selling me out,” you snapped, stepping closer to her. You didn’t care about the enforcer shadowing her, a step behind with one hand hovering near her weapon. All you could see was Vi, standing there with a badge at her hip and gilt in her eyes. “I trusted you. You swore you’d never betray us. Never betray me.”
“This isn’t about betrayal!” Vi shot back, her voice trembling as she raised her hands, trying to calm you or herself—you couldn’t tell. “This is about stopping you before it’s too late. You’ve gone too far, Y/n. The arson, the—” she hesitated, jaw tightening. “The murders. Working with—”
“With Silco!?” You laughed, a dry, bitter sound. “That’s what she told you, isn't it?” You gestured sharply to the enforcer—Caitlyn—her perfect Piltover uniform untouched by the grime of Zaun. “Let me guess, she spun some story about me being a terrorist, and you just ate it up because she’s got a fancy accent and a badge.”
“That’s not—” Vi started, but Caitlyn’s voice cut through her hesitation.
“She’s dangerous, Vi. You know that.” Caitlyn’s tone was level, professional, but her gaze flicked to you with a mix of wariness and disdain. “We need to bring her in—now.”
“Jinx and I have done more for this city than you ever could! We’ve brought hope back to Zaun and you’re trying to rip it to shreds! What about my parents? What about your parents!” Your heart cracked, splintering into sharp, jagged pieces. You took another step forward, daring Vi to stop you. “So, what’s it going to be, Vi? Do you believe her?” You pointed at Caitlyn. “Or me?”
Vi hesitated, her fists clenching and unclenching at her sides. Her eyes locked onto yours, and for a moment, you saw the girl you fell in love with. The girl who once fought for Zaun, for her family, for you. But then she looked at Caitlyn, and everything shattered.
“I love you,” Vi whispered, her voice breaking. “I’m sorry.”
The words hit you like a blow to the chest. Your vision blurred, not from tears—no, you wouldn’t cry—but from a red-hot fury that burned through your veins. “No,” you growled, voice low and venomous. “Don’t you dare say that to me. You don’t get to say you love me and choose a Piltie over me.”
“Y/n,” Vi said, stepping toward you, but you backed away, shaking your head.
“Stay the hell away from me,” you spat, your voice trembling with anger and heartbreak. “You’re no better than the blue bellies who raided Zaun and tore our families apart. You’re just like them. You’re a traitor.”
The words cut deep—you saw it in the way Vi flinched, the way her hand wavered before falling uselessly to her side. But you didn’t care. Let her feel a fraction of th pain she had inflicted on you.
Caitlyn stepped forward then, gun in hand. “Surrender peacefully, or this ends the hard way.”
A bitter laugh escaped your lips. “You think I’m going down without a fight?” Your hands flexed at your sides, ready to grave the blade hidden beneath your coat. You knew it wasn’t a fair fight—two against one, with Caitlyn’s hextech rifle and Vi’s hextech fists—but you didn’t care. If this was how it ended, you’d make them work for it.
The fight erupted in a blur of movement. Caitlyn fired, but you ducked, the bullet ricocheting off a metal pipe. You lunged at Vi, and for a moment, your fists collided with hers—like old times, but with none of the playfulness, none of the love.
“Y/n, stop!” VI shouted, blocking your strikes. Her voice was desperate, pleading. “I don’t want to hurt you!”
“Funny, because you already have,” You snarled, landing a blow that sent her stumbling back. But Caitlyn was there, quick and efficient, slamming the butt of her rifle into your side. Pain exposed in your ribs, but you didn’t falter.
You wouldn’t give them the satisfaction.
It wasn’t long before they overwhelmed you. Caitlyn had you pinned, her knee digging into your back as she cuffed your hands. Vi stood over you, blood dripping from a cut above her eyebrow, her expression a mix of anguish and regret.
“Don’t look at me like that,” you hissed, struggling against the cuffs. “Don’t you dare look at me like that.”
“I—” Vi started, but you cut her off.
“You made your choice,” you spat. “You chose her. You chose Piltover. You chose everything you once swore to hate. And for what? A badge? A chance to play hero?” You laughed bitterly, the sound hollow. “Screw you, Vi.”
Her face crumpled, and for a moment, you thought you saw tears in her eyes. But you didn’t care. Let her cry. Let her feel the weight of what she’d done.
As Caitlyn hauled you to your feet, you fixed Vi with a glare, your voice cold and unyielding. “You’re dead to me, Vi. Don’t ever forget that.”
⛤ BATFAM MASTERLIST ⛤
It had happened unexpectedly. You were there one second and gone the next. In a blink of an eye. Nothing more nothing less. That was all it took for you to slip away. Damian could have sworn he was only gone for a minute. To stretch his legs and grab something to eat. But that was all it took for them to sneak in. Quiet as a mouse they crept in, splitting through the open window at the back of the room. Leaving it open had been a careless mistake, but who was to think that you would have been taken in the safety of your own home?
They grabbed you roughly from behind. A set of rough hands pinning you to the sofa, clamped tightly over your mouth as another worked to tie a heavy bandage around your eyes. You had squirmed feebly trying to gain some leverage. Your training desperately tried to kick in but at that moment, you were not a vigilante. You were Y/N Wayne: A citizen, child to the wealthiest man in Gotham and utterly fucked.
You had no choice after that than to allow them to drag you downtown, you had kicked and cried blindly, desperate for one of your brothers to chase after you. But whoever was gripping you tight enough to bruise was clearly experienced and you knew that they stood no chance so unexpectedly.
When they tossed you down on the ground, you thought it would offer some relief. The room was dank, dusty and smelt of water rot and mould. This was the part where they would send a ransom note to Bruce and he and your brothers would come charging in sooner or later. But you had never been more wrong.
“We know who you are, Wayne.” A voice spoke. Feminine but not soft spoken. Threatening. “Or would you prefer Raven?”
Your stomach dropped as bile burned the back of your throat. You knew you could fight now, but you were defenceless weaponless with your hands and feet bound together.
“The fuck do you want?” You spat, though the effect of the venom in your words was lost for you looked so helpless.
“Bold of you to speak to me that way, given your predicament.” The woman chuckled, prodding you with her foot. “You’re here as a sort of…payment.”  She mused. “I suppose you could call it that.”
“What?”
“My husband.” She started, moving away from you. You could hear her pacing around the room but you  could only conjure up images in your mind. “Leader of the greatest crime suricate in Gotham. And now, he’s dead. Rotting in some coffin in the ground, thanks to your father.”
She moved closer again. Her heels clattered against the floor.
“He took away the only thing that ever mattered to me!” She gripped your wrist, lifting you up off the floor and leaning into your face. “So now, I’m going to take away one of his toys until someone tells me how to get him out! His precious little girl. Oh how I can’t wait to see the look on all of their faces when they see you. That is of course…after we have a little fun.”
~
There was still no sign of you. And it felt as if they had searched every inch of the city. The high and the low but still nothing. No one had slept much in the three days you had been missing. Their nights were either spent searching for you on patrol or laying awake staring blankly at the ceiling as their minds conjured up the worst. None of them said it outloud but the possibility that you were dead loomed over them. But no one ever said anything. They just continued to search in silence. It seemed like Babs and Tim hadn’t torn their eyes away from the screens since Damian came barging into the room three days ago, doubled over and panting as he revealed the news. The only time they ever moved was to head to the bathroom or to make another mug of lukewarm coffee.
The rest of the family were out on patrol. That was what they were calling it anyway. Really they were looking for you. And still there had been no sign until Dick stumbled upon a window. It was low down to his feet covered by concrete as though the building had just sunk into the concrete. And when he tried to peer inside, it seemed to be covered by something on the inside.
It could have been nothing.
But Dick was desperate.
He called over the other vigilantes with a signal on his com. They all came tricking over towards him silently through the city. Some bubbling with hope and anticipation, but all dreading the worst.
Moving around the back of the house, Dick pushed open the door.
~
You had never been more scared in your entire life. Everything ached, burned or stung. From what you could feel there didn’t seem to be a single inch of your skin that wasn’t covered in blood. It clung sticky to your skin, cracking every time you managed to bring yourself to shift against the floor.
She had continued her onslaught for hours, trying to force answers that she knew you would never be able to give her from your chapped lips. She would leave every once in a while, returning silently to catch you off guard with another round of pain. You couldn’t see her: the blindfold still remained firmly around your eyes, so you had to anticipate when she would return as you cowered against the back wall in a pool of your own blood. You were unsure how long it had been since she tossed you into the room. Without the relief of sunlight, your woozy mind had lost track of time.
And then a pair of hands gripped your shoulders. And you screamed, trying to recoil away from them. You didn’t make it far. Your body was too weak.
“No! No please! No more!” You begged, tears dribbling down your cheeks to mingle among the dirt and blood. “I already told you I-I don’t know anything! Please!”
“Woah, woah.” It was Dick’s voice that broke through to you, though they had all called out to you. It was him who had reached out to you in the first place, hesitant that the smallest touch would break you. As soon as they were met with resistance they knew you were here. And they fought as fast as they could to get to you. Praying that they wouldn’t find you as you had. Sprawled out across the floor in a pool of your own blood as you struggled to breathe. “It’s us.”
“We’re here, Kid.” Jason leaned forwards to remove the blindfold from your eyes as Dick tried to support you in his arms. You squiremed weakly, still untrusting. But the minute the blindfold was off and you had finished adjusting to the onslaught of light. You broke.
You collapsed into Dicks arms, sobbing and shaking. He cupped the back of your head with his hands and held you, giving Jason and Duke a nervous glance. Your blood had already begun to stain the front of his suit as you whimpered in his arms, clinging to him tightly.
When he tried to shift you, you let out a sob and clung to him tighter. He wasn’t sure if it was because he had hurt you or because you were scared he was going to leave you. Probably both.
“Y/N?” Jason whispered, moving to crouch by your side. “ We’re here now. We’re going to get you home okay? Can you tell us what happened?”
You shook your head and buried your face into Dicks chest trying to block out the pain.
Eyes turned to Duke who watched you with sad eyes. They observed as he surveyed the room, taking in the horrors that the light revealed. And he couldn’t help the gasp that slipped out of his lips.
He paled at what he saw. Winced at the way your face contorted with pain as the woman towered over you, tossing you about the room like a ragdoll and slashing you with various tools as she screamed at you. He saw how she would catch you off guard by sneaking up on you in the dark as some cruel game to satisfy her sick amusement. He felt sick.
In the time it took for him to see the echo of your agonies, Dick had managed to coax enough for him to stand so they could bring you out of the room and get you urgently to medical attention.
The two looked at him expectantly. And once he had managed to stutter out what he had seen, Jason was tensely clenching his jaw and fists.
Someone was going to bleed tonight. He was going to make sure of that.
𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 the siren, cursed by the sea and feared by the world, never imagined love could find her—until chris did. in his eyes, she wasn’t a creature of the depths but a soul worth saving. their love, tender and fleeting, was a defiance of fate, a brief escape from the doom that lingered. but when the sea came for her, leaving only her lifeless body on the shore, chris was left devastated. consumed by grief, he could not let her go, forever haunted by her memory, bound to the tragic final moment where love slipped through his fingers.
𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, yet another angst, death, grief and loss, graphic descriptions, no happy ending, fluff if u squint extra hard, murder (not too descriptive), cannibalism, little use of religious imagery
the sea had always been your sanctuary — the only place where the noise in your head dulled, where the weight of your existence didn’t press so heavily on your chest. it whispered to you, sang lullabies that spoke of ancient things, terrible and beautiful. you had known it as a mother once, in those distant days before you ever met chris, back when you believed the power inside you was a curse. the world told you as much. sailors spoke in hushed voices, warning of the danger your kind carried — the siren’s voice, the venomous kiss, the fatal call.
but then he found you. a boy so out of place on the shore, like some wayward sailor who didn’t belong on the sand. his eyes didn’t hold fear when they met yours, though they should have. you were dangerous; you knew that, and yet something in the way he looked at you made you forget. you felt like something else entirely when he was near — a girl, a soul, a human being capable of being loved. and in those fleeting moments, he made you believe that you were more than what the sea had made you.
you had asked him once, in the quiet hours of the night when the stars hung low and the moon bathed your bodies in silver light, what it was that he saw in you. his answer had been simple, too simple for the enormity of what it meant.
“i see you,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. “not what you think you are, not what they say you are — just you. and that’s enough.”
that was the first night he kissed you. it was gentle at first, hesitant, like he was testing the waters, unsure if you would pull away, unsure if the world would let him hold you like this. but you kissed him back with a hunger that startled even you, like you had been starving all your life and didn’t know it until you tasted his lips.
you felt alive for the first time in so long, as if his touch had ignited something deep within you. his hands were warm on your skin, and when he whispered your name, it felt like a prayer. you kissed him like he was your salvation, like you could drown in him and be saved all the same. kiss me like a sailor, you had begged him once, your voice rough, trembling with need, and he had laughed, pulling you close, promising you that he would never leave, that you were his anchor, that he would keep you tethered to the shore no matter what storms came.
but promises are fragile things, easily broken by the cruel hands of fate.
that last night together had been so perfect it felt like a dream. you had lain in his arms on the sand, the two of you wrapped in each other beneath the blanket of stars. you talked for hours, your words flowing like the tide, easy and full of a kind of hope you hadn’t known before. you whispered about a life far from the sea, away from the curse that hung over your head. he spoke of places you had never seen, of cities filled with people who didn’t fear sirens, of a world where you could walk hand in hand without anyone looking twice.
“we’ll run away,” he had said, his breath warm against your neck. “somewhere far from here. i’ll take you where the sea can’t reach us.”
and for the first time, you had let yourself believe him. you had let yourself dream of a future where you weren’t bound to the water, where you could be free to love him without fear, without the shadow of death looming over you. you had fallen asleep in his arms that night, lulled by the sound of his heartbeat, a rhythm steady and sure as the waves themselves.
but the sea does not forgive its children for leaving. it never does.
when chris left the next morning, the sun barely cresting the horizon, he had kissed you like he always did, with that quiet intensity that made you feel like you were the center of his universe. “i’ll be back before you know it,” he promised, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “don’t go anywhere without me.”
and then he was gone, his figure disappearing into the distance, swallowed by the morning mist. you sat by the shore, watching the waves lap at the sand, feeling that familiar pull in your chest, the one that reminded you that you didn’t belong here. not in this world, not with him. you were born of the sea, and no matter how much you wanted to escape it, it would always call you back.
you didn’t see the sailors coming. maybe you had let your guard down, lulled into a false sense of security by chris’s love. or maybe you had always known this was how it would end. either way, when their hands grabbed you, rough and unforgiving, you didn’t scream. you didn’t fight. you let them drag you into the water, their voices harsh in your ears, accusing you of crimes you had never committed, sins that had been written into your skin before you were even born.
they didn’t care who you were. to them, you were just a monster. a siren who lured men to their deaths, a creature who deserved nothing more than to be drowned in the very sea that had birthed you.
when they were done, they left you there, your body half-submerged in the water, broken and bloodied, the life slowly seeping out of you as the tide pulled you deeper into its embrace. you felt the sea take you back, the waves cradling you like a mother returning for her lost child, and in your final moments, you wondered if chris would come back in time to find you.
but you knew, even then, that it was too late.
when chris returned, the beach was eerily quiet. the sun had long since risen, but there was no warmth in the air, only the cold bite of the wind and the taste of salt on his lips. he called your name, his voice trembling with a fear he had never known before, a fear that gripped his chest and refused to let go.
and then he saw you.
your body, still and pale, the water lapping gently at your feet, your hair spread out like seaweed on the sand. he ran to you, his heart pounding in his chest, his breath coming in ragged gasps. he fell to his knees beside you, his hands shaking as he reached for you, pulling you into his arms, cradling your lifeless form against his chest.
“no, no, please…” his voice cracked, a sob tearing from his throat as he pressed his forehead against yours. “please, don’t leave me. don’t leave me.”
but you were already gone.
he held you for what felt like hours, his tears mixing with the saltwater that clung to your skin. he kissed your lips, your cheeks, your hands, desperate to feel some spark of life in you, some sign that you were still there, that you hadn’t been taken from him. but there was nothing. only the cold, empty shell of the girl he had loved.
and then, in the quiet of his grief, something broke inside him. a madness, a desperation, a need to hold on to you in any way he could. he kissed your shoulder, softly at first, his lips brushing over your skin as if he could still be gentle with you. but then the hunger came. the need to consume, to make you a part of him forever. he bit down, his teeth sinking into your flesh, the taste of you filling his mouth — salt, blood, the sea. you were his now. his, in a way that death could never take from him.
and as he pulled back, his breath ragged, his heart shattered, he knew that he would never be the same. the sea had claimed you, but he had claimed you, too. you would live inside him, in the darkest corners of his soul, in the places where light could never reach.
the tide rolled in, indifferent to the tragedy that had unfolded on its shores, and the sky darkened as the sun dipped below the horizon. but chris stayed there, holding you close, his lips stained with your blood, his heart heavy with the weight of a love that had been doomed from the start.
and in the distance, the sea whispered your name, a lullaby meant only for him.
Being Miguel’s daughter and hosting Venom [2]
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
[Platonic One-Shot]
c/w: fighting, depictions of violence and gore, angst, female pronouns (she/her), feminine gendered terms used to describe reader, Venom is a big softie, only for you though 🤭
a/n: this is marked as part two because the first one shot was the first part, the drabble was more of an introduction to the idea 😭 I understand there might be some confusion about how these parts are set up but yeah the drabble was intended to introduce the idea more than it was meant to be an actual part of the series— like an extended epigraph… sort of
It was raining the day your father had decided to return to your dimension— the dark and gloomy rain clouds above thick and heavy as they devoured the sky.
With them they brought raindrops thick and heavy in density that were spat out in a torrential downpour. Falling in copious and rapid quantities.
You had been sitting perched on the corner of a building’s roof, observant and watchful as you patrolled the streets from your perch.
The darkness that had followed the overcast night sky left the street lamps and starkly bright city lights bright and prominent in their glow. And your sensitive and finely tuned auditory perception picked up on the sounds of tires driving through rainwater on the pavement. The sound of particularly nocturnal people walking, bustling and moving about— the way their shoe soles stepped on the soaked through concrete of the sidewalk, some splashing as they came across puddles in the divets of the ground.
Everything that involved your senses and being aware of the world around you sharpened dramatically, now keen on focusing on the world around you. Listening starkly for any kind of traumatic event occurring.
“I like the rain.”
“Me too.”
“The atmosphere is relaxing. We feel at peace.”
You couldn’t help but agree, the weather more than accommodating in the sense your mood had improved drastically.
It had been two weeks since your father had made his appearance, and since then you had been tightly wound and more than a little hurt at his abrupt intrusion. Even more hurt at the way he had just left without so much as an ounce of effort in trying to get you to talk to him.
He had called your name, and he did speak to you— that was something you could acknowledge, but the fact he hadn’t bothered trying beyond that spoke a lot about what your relationship had come to. What it still was.
He didn’t care about you, he never had and the encounter from a little less than half a month ago gave you the impression that he never would.
A small part of you could admit that you had hoped maybe he would come after you, chase you down, take you into his arms and hold you tenderly. Lovingly.
An even larger part overwhelmed that feeling with a cold and bitter indifference that made you more angry than sad. Sparked to life when he left you behind in a home you didn’t know, with people you didn’t trust— and festered to much more significant levels as the years continued to pass with not a single word from him.
You shouldn’t have expected him to make an effort to fix your relationship, and you hated that you were so bothered that he hadn’t tried at all. You should’ve known that he hadn’t ever intended to be involved with you at all. And you should’ve just accepted that your relationship was beyond fixing— and there was no point in trying to repair something that had died a long time ago. Irreparable— damaged and broken.
And whilst anger and hate had spread and taken over most of your heart and soul, there was still a small part inside that was more hurt than anything.
That small child inside that had depended on her father more than ever in the wake of her mother’s death. A little girl that had quickly learned he wasn’t dependable, she couldn’t count on him at all. And she was quick to learn that there wasn’t anyone who had her back, was on her side. It developed into her trusting absolutely no one— “the only one I can really trust.. is me.”
“[Y/Name]? Are you okay?”
“Yes,” you murmured quiet and tame as you continued to watch over the city. The darkness and ache that had consumed your heart so very deeply at the remembrance of your father had dissipated when your friend had spoken to you. “I’m fine V.”
“Was it about him?”
You didn’t respond and they had expected that you wouldn’t, and didn’t say much after that. And you appreciated their understanding that you didn’t want to talk about them.
There was a moment of tranquility, peace in the loud bustle of your city as the rain continued to fall. But then your senses tingled as the familiar sound of a portal spinning open erupted behind you. There wasn’t a moment of stillness that you allowed before you were spitting webs at the wall behind the portal.
Miguel walked through the portal a moment later, it closed a second after and then you were launching yourself at him.
He may have not had the tingle at the expense he wasn’t even really changed like you had been. He hadn’t been bitten but had his genetic code changed, and his abilities came from a vial of liquid he injected directly into his bloodstream to keep his powers sharp and potent.
So, whilst he didn’t have the spider senses that tingled anytime danger was nearby, his natural instincts had been sharpened finely. Thus, he was able to bring up his arms as you drop kicked him into the wall you had slung your webs at.
Even though he was blocking his face protectively you had put enough strength behind the kick to hurt him, and he grunted as your kick connected sending him flying back.
[Y/Name] jumped to meet him against the brick wall and grabbed him by the throat, tightening her clawed fingers around his neck before she was pulling him from the wall and throwing him off the building to the street below.
The previous feeling of peace and content that had warmed her chest and blood had diminished, and was now replaced with thorough rage. Hot and ferocious.
[Y/Name] had sworn to Venom that she absolutely would resort to murder if her father ever returned to her universe, and here he was. So the alien didn’t falter nor make an effort to halt the anger that was slowly but surely filling his host’s body.
Another portal opened up behind her and she felt an itch of annoyance as she felt the familiar presence that made her senses tingle. Jessica Drew.
A snarl tugged at her features as she curled her lip and looked over her shoulder, a ferocious glare fierce and angry in her bright eyes.
“Venom.”
“Of course.”
Jessica stared as a thick, black matter pooled from her back and slid across her lean and muscular frame. The alien-like viscous oil gliding across every plane of her frame, concealing her entire white and blue suit in a tightened black version of it instead.
“[Y/Name],” Jessica began soft and quiet— an attempt to somehow quell the furious fire of rage she could feel hot and angry from where she stood several feet behind the young teenager. “I know what you must be feeling—”
“You don’t know shit.”
“You want to kill him. And I can’t let you do tha—”
Her sentence was cut short when she was suddenly thrown backwards, her senses had tingled but not nearly quick enough. And she had been sent backwards to the brick wall in consequence, she gaped at the O’hara stood in front of her on the edge of the roof.
She had turned to face Jessica with her back, and the blackened webbing surrounding her body seemed to pulse and tightened around her body. Every time she squirmed attempting to loosen them, cut them or escape they would just tighten. She resorted to calling out to [Y/Name] instead—
“Spider-Woman doesn’t kill people!”
[Y/Name] willed her mask to peel away, the small and thin tendrils crawling up her neck and hugging her forehead only made the harsh glare she threw at Jessica over her shoulder much darker. The snarl she gave baring abnormally sharp canines seemed to make her even more intimidating— it made Jessica uncomfortable how a simple look made a chill rake down her back.
“You’re right. But we do.”
And she shivered again at the alien voice that rumbled from the young adult’s chest. The words she spoke only succeeding in making her all the more uncomfortable and frightened. The tone she spoke in was deep and ferociously monstrous. And Jessica stared as the O’hara glared back for a single second before she jumped disappearing over the side of the roof.
[Y/Name] landed on the sidewalk paved along the side of the asphalt road, she jumped forward flipping out of the way as her father shot a web at the spot she occupied previously.
But he had jumped to meet her midair and they grappled as they fell back to the road, she managed to wrangle a hold on the back of his suit and brought forth Venom’s strength to throw him down the road before landing on it herself.
Miguel’s sharpened instincts flared aggressively as his young daughter launched a car at him. He spun around extending his arm forward simultaneously— the long and sharp blade on his forearm cutting the car cleanly in half. But she had been there to surprise him, lunging forward after she had thrown the car knowing he’d cut it in half opening up an ambush as she erupted in between each piece of the vehicle.
He gasped silently in shock at her appearance through the split and grunted when her punch connected to his face. Enough strength from her abilities coupled with Venom to send him flying back. And he flipped midair to land on his feet several feet down the street, he dug the blades on his forearms into the pavement to halt his movement as he looked up.
“I suffered! Alone! For twenty years, because of your cowardice!” [Y/Name] shouted as she stormed down the street, the mask Venom provided peeling back to reveal a ferocious snarl tugging her lips back and baring abnormally sharper canines.
“Protecting the security of the multiverse is not cowardly!”
“You knew invading another universe at the expense of your variant’s death was wrong! You knew your presence could collapse the very fabrics of a dimension! You always knew!” She roared in exclamation to his rather weak defense, having stopped just a few feet in front of him to properly put her feelings forward. Give him everything she had bottled up inside that had erupted suddenly since his abrupt appearance in her dimension two weeks ago.
Miguel just stood there, he swallowed thickly at her statement as he held eye contact with her. There wasn’t any indication he was intimidated by her on his face, his expression blank and guarded with slanted brows and narrowed eyes. But internally he was dreading the fight that would no doubt occur, she was anomoly after all.
“But— when she told you she was pregnant, when she told you she was excited to start your family.. what did you do? What did you do? You. Ran!”
“She was never meant to bear children! Never meant to give birth to you— that was not my fault!”
The audacity he had to ruin her life and not even acknowledge it only made [Y/Name] all the more furious, her blood boiling beneath her skin as she tightened her vicious snarl. “Not your fault?!”
[Y/Name] advanced forward, she reached to her left— her muscular forearm flexing beneath the deep black Venom suit as she gripped the side of another car and effortlessly lifted it throwing it at him.
He jumped to the side to dodge but she was there to meet him once again, having leapt from her spot on the street to put her knee in his face. He couldn’t bring his arms up quick enough to block it this time, and she forced him backwards when she utilized Venom’s alien strength to really hurt him.
Miguel grunted as her strike connected and he was thrown into the side of the building off to the side. She followed right behind him tearing her arm back and throwing it forward the second she was close enough. The hit had enough power and strength in it to send him right through the brick wall and into the empty warehouse within.
[Y/Name] landed several feet away from the form of her father on the ground, he was slow to get back to his feet but once he had he turned to face her. And she could tear his throat out at the scowl carved into his features, the conversation that followed only making her all the more infuriated.
“I’m not here for any other reason than to capture the anomaly in your dimension.” He says, a still blank and guarded look on his face. One that his young daughter matched only to a degree that looked more like she was enraged rather than unbothered.
“There’s no anomaly here, Venom and I would’ve picked up it’s unnatural scent immediately.” She reasoned.
“You wouldn’t know of it’s presence. Because it’s you.”
“What?”
“You are an anomaly, you were never meant to be born.. never meant to be bitten… never meant to host Venom. You don’t belong. You need to be contained.”
[Y/Name] froze, Venom inside stilling too as he and herself processed the words that had just fell from her father’s mouth. All was quiet for but a moment—
“You…”
Miguel watched as a dark look overtook her features, from enraged previously to downright hostile as her eyes darkened to an unseen degree. He felt a shiver of fear and intimidation shuck down his back in a brief burst.
“You bastard.”
The snarled words growled from her throat sent another ripple down his spine. And he swallowed thickly as the deep black viscous matter of Venom returned, and then she bore the same appearance as before.
The same lean and muscular frame but now entirely black with a white spider insignia, her mask’s eyes now more monstrous-like as opposed to the regular diamond shape as most spider people.
“Fine.”
[Y/Name] Venom snarled ferociously, Miguel watched as the alien bulked up his daughter. Not so much so that it wasn’t proportionate but enough to have him breathe out a brief exhale of uncertainty and anxiety.
His daughter had become powerful in his absence, and he had caused the black hatred to plague her heart. The fact she only looked at him with hate and a fiery light of murder and bloodthirsty rage was his fault and his fault alone. He had no one to blame but himself.
So, he really had no one to blame for this fight that would occur one way or another. He wasn’t sure he could beat her, and for the first time in a long while he felt a surge of anxiousness brew to life in his stomach. His heartbeat slightly erratic at the new feeling of diminished confidence in his chest.
He knew this would be hard, he knew he was walking into this fight with a significant power difference, and he knew for damn sure he wasn’t certain he’d keep his head. And Miguel had no one to blame for it—
But himself.
a/n: started writing out requests so expect to see those soon but don’t get too excited as I can’t promise when exactly they’ll be finished and posted, my classes are kicking my ass and my job fucking sucks so.. bear with me please and I hope you enjoyed!
✟ A/N: *coughs in embarrassment* Uh so...I think I really went insane if I wrote this, there's no way back anymore haha. I really do feel guilty, but then I'm not, cause you'll see. *wink* To be honest I don't know what is this, I just got inspired in the church bruh-- I can't with myself, I'mma just go dig myself haha let's go. Anyways, enjoy I guess. Actually part 2 is out
Tumblr media
My day started off boring, as usual. It was a holiday, so I went back home to the town I grew up in to visit my parents and relatives. I really needed a little break from work and from the adult life, which came out of the blue. I didn't really have time to ponder in my life choices as I finished University. I moved away to a big city to start working as an English teacher. It was very new for me, and very tiring, so, I deserved a little break as the summer vacation finally came and I could come home to rest a little before returning to my chaotic, big city life.
We were sitting in church with my parents and my brother, Wooyoung, as it was Sunday. My parents were mostly religious, and so, I had no other choice but to tag along with them. I can’t say I'm not religious myself, it’s just that I tend to give in a lot of times to the vicious temptations, to the guilty pleasure that consumes me like venom. My brain gets consumed by vices, and it takes a lot of time to find the cure to treat myself with. I learned to believe in myself, instead of God, after I had too many disappointments in life. I prayed for help, but it never came my way. So, I have decided that I'm better off on my own, believing in my own strength and whatever hardships life throws at me I will be able to overcome on my own, instead of believing in a God and waiting for guidance and to be saved.
People started filling inside the church as silence settled upon the hall, the priest coming out to stand in front of the altar. It was the moment I suddenly forgot how to breathe. My mouth fell open as slowly I leaned towards Wooyoung.
"Okay, since when did our old and dusty priest become a young and handsome one?" I whispered to my brother, surprised. The last thing I could remember, as I came here ages ago, was our priest looking like a cute grandpa. This priest on the other hand, was the complete opposite of the lovely old man.
He was tall with his body hidden underneath his black long vestment, but even that couldn't hide his broad shoulders, which could be compared to mountains. Wait a minute…since when were priests buff?
Am I in another universe, suddenly? What am I seeing? Why is he so handsome with his black framed glass?
His black hair was whipped back carefully, little strands falling to his forehead. And his face?! Oh my God, literally, I have never seen more beautiful features likes his before. His jawline was as sharp as a knife, his cat-like eyes watching the people whom came here to hear his wise words, that came from his pretty, almost cherry red, lips. I was very enraptured by this man and I felt very guilty for checking him out for thousands of reasons; one, I was sitting in church and these thoughts were very inappropriate; second…he was a freaking priest, which implied that he was the most innocent human being on earth, he can't even look at girls, let alone do even as much as touch them. My eyes fell on his hands, which were holding the Bible, his palm spreading out underneath it with the veins on his hands showing. I couldn’t control my thoughts as I imagined his long fingers tracing down my neck, leaving goosebumps in its wake.
Wooyoung chuckled quietly, "He’s a newbie. Just got here a month ago, but everyone is all over him already." My brother's voice brought me back to reality as I shook my head to clear my mind of the embarrassing thoughts.
"My dearest brothers and sisters…" The priest started speaking, his low voice sending shivers through my body. The white rosary around his neck was on full display.
From then on, all I could see were his beautiful face and lips, which moved with each smoothly spoken word. I couldn't take my eyes off him; he was like a magnet and I was the iron being attracted to it. It was silent around me; all I could hear was my own quick heartbeat. Just until he started preaching. Suddenly, his soft voice reached my ears and everything just made sense.
"God is here to help you, even in times when you turn your back on him. He watches you still; he protects you still. But he can't protect you from everything. Bad things need to happen in your life so you learn from them, squeezing every lesson out of it so that you can stand up again with your head held high. People make mistakes, and that is what makes us human. Just imagine if God protected you from all bad things, not letting you make any mistake. You’d think that your life was perfect…" He paused so the people would consume what he’s said as he looked around, watching the people in front of him, who were looking up at him like he was God himself. As he was looking around, his eyes suddenly locked onto mine and watched me sharply. I couldn't breathe, "…but the reality is, no one can be perfect, because nothing is perfect. If everything were, life would be boring…we learn from the mistakes we make, because sometimes there's no one behind our back, just ourselves, to keep us going. This is the purpose of God. He gives you lectures in these alone times, so that you can learn how to be your own best friend, so you can love yourself before you love someone else. This is the reason we shall never turn our back to God, he gives us hope and brings us the light. Amen." His eyes were on mine all the while he spoke, and I was stunned. My heart raced like hell; those words felt like they were aimed right at my heart. It reminded me of my old self, who never loved herself, not even for a short period.
I was still mulling over the priest’s speech in my mind as we stood outside the church, when suddenly I saw him standing in front of my family, still holding the Holy Bible. He was smiling at my mother as if they knew each for ages, his dimples showing on both of his cheeks, his eyes turning into crescents. I seriously needed to get my shit together.
"Is she your daughter, who moved away, Mrs. Jung?" He looked at me curiously.
"Yes, she is. Come here." My mother motioned for me to get closer as if I was still twelve years old.
The priest came closer to shake my hand, "I don’t think we’ve met before; my name is Choi San. I'm the new priest." He said with a soft tone as his face beamed with nothing but kindness.
I shook his hand, "Nice to meet you, I'm Jung Y/N." I slightly smiled at him, feeling a little embarrassed due to the thoughts that went through my mind during his service.
We were staring at each other; his hands still haven’t released mine as if the both of us were stunned into sculptures. My mother's voice pulled us back to reality, and San nervously coughed into his palm. What was that?
"My daughter teaches English to little kids in the nearby big town, she just graduated a year ago." My mother said proudly, her palm patting my back with a smile.
"Oh, that is a very great job. It needs a lot of patience, I assume." He seemed genuinely interested.
"Ah, yes, it's a miracle when the kids sit in one place. It's demanding and tiring, but I like it." I smiled at him, trying to seem mature.
"Hang in there, you’ve got this. I can imagine you as a teacher, it fits you well, and I'm sure you are good at it." I didn’t know if I was simply imagining it, but his smile dissapeared for a second as he was glared at me with sharp eyes. I swear to God, he looked like an animal full of desire. And for priests, desire was the last thing they were allowed to feel.
Tumblr media
Days later I found myself sitting in a pub, next to San. I can't believe I'm saying this, but the night lead us somehow here, sitting at the bar and talking about anything and everything.
The night started off with me going out with my childhood friends to drink something, because we have missed seeing each other. We went to a pub called Silver. The bar could be linked back to our childhood as a playground lay in its place instead back then, when we were mere kids. How fun life was, a place where we used to play as kids now was a place where we got drunk until we blacked out. At least my friends managed to do that, I was still hanging on. My friends had drunkenly rested their heads on the table where we initially sat at.
So, I had texted their husbands to ‘come collect their women’. They had come after them as all of my childhood friends had someone, except me. One of my friend’s told me that they were going to take me home. The night was wild, I could barely see, but somehow as I was looking around the bar, my jaw fell open as I saw someone. That someone being Choi San, the priest himself. He was sitting on a barstool, his back facing me. He was wearing a black turtleneck, broad shoulders on full display, which curved into a tiny waist. I was shocked over the fact that he was hiding a body like that under the black vestments. So, I told my friend that I would be staying for a little longer.
I had stumbled next to him as he sat by the bar, "Since when do priests drink alone in a pub?" I asked frowning, the words coming out of my mouth a bit slow. Giving him a closer look, the black turtleneck was tight against his thick neck, a silver necklace with a big cross reached between the middle of his pectorals, which were big. The black turtleneck he wore was tucked inside his elegant black pants. He looked like a God, but not a good one.
He looked at me a little surprised, his lips curving into a smile when he saw it was me,
"Is it set in stone that priests can't drink alone in a pub now?" One glass of whiskey was casually sitting between his fingers.
I frowned at that, feeling a little dizzy, "I mean…I guess not?"
He chuckled watching my face as I pouted at the realization, "You are cute." His smile never dissapeared.
I frowned again, analyzing his face, "Can priests say such things as well?" It was just weird; I spoke without thinking first.
San started to laugh at that loudly, his laugh was so soft it melted my heart. As he laughed, he raised his open palm up to his mouth, a golden ring decorating his index finger, his eyes formed into crescents as he looked like a cute cat, "So, do you think priests can't say anything at all? That they can't even look at cute girls like yourself?" He stopped laughing and leaned a little closer to my face, his voice low with bass.
My cheeks heat up from his closeness. What was he doing again? The man sitting in front of me was the world's biggest question mark, he acted very suspiciously. I leaned backwards, away from him as he looked at me with his sharp eyes, eyeing me up and down.
"Are you really a priest?" I folded my arms over my chest, looking at him suspiciously.
"Of course, I am." He smiled at me again with that adorable smile, which wasn't on his face mere seconds ago.
"You don’t act like it." I said leaning towards the counter to ask for some water from the barista.
"You didn't like my service on Sunday?" He asked, analyzing my face.
"I did, you said some wise words, I must admit." I said as I opened the water bottle to drink. As I drank, I felt his gaze fell on my neck, watching me as I gulped the water down. Chills ran through my body.
"C'mon, I'll take you home." He said, standing up.
"You were sipping whiskey minutes ago, are you crazy?" I said while looking up at him, as he stood next to me.
"Priests can drive while drinking, so come on, you are a bit drunk. I have to take care of the locals, as a priest." He said with a smile, his voice soft as a light breeze while he offered his hand for me to take.
I just looked at it, and after a few seconds of pondering, took it. He grabbed my hand firmly, and lead me out of the pub.
The summer night was a little cold, as clouds hid the stars above us, and the breeze sent shivers down my body.
"Are you cold?" San stopped, putting his hand on my back to caress it.
Okay, this was starting to get very weird. I just wanted to go home.
"I'm okay, just want to go home." I replied, trying to distance myself from him.
He silently led the way towards his car, which was an old black Dodge with some silver framing on the windows. Okay, he was a rich priest then, I guess.
The way towards my home was silent and a little uncomfortable. I just wanted to get away from this weird situation, away from him, because the longer I was with him, the stronger I wanted to give into the biggest sin trap. That being the realization that I started feeling attracted to a fucking priest.
When he stopped the car, I was ready to get out, but when I reached for the handle, it did not open. I looked at San frowning.
"Oh, sorry, it needs more pressure to open, this thing is as old as my grandpa." He slowly leaned towards me, reaching his hand out towards the handle. His face was close to my own, there wasn't even an inch between us. He cracked the door open, but his face remained close, and I was so stunned I couldn't move my limbs to get away from him. My heart was racing, I was terrified he might hear it. Then all I could see was him leaning closer, towards my cheeks, and he pecked it softly, like a feather.
"Good night, darling." He whispered into my ear. I could feel his hot breath against my cheek, which melted into my skin, not even letting my body process it. He leaned back in his seat and pretended like nothing had happened. I swear to God, I believed I imagined the whole scene.
When I came to my senses, I quickly scrambled out of the car and speed-walked towards my house, leaving him there without a word.
I might be going insane, but I just couldn't process what happened. This man was a whole mystery, there was no way a priest would act like this, at least not a real one.
Tumblr media
My suspicions started getting valid as on some days, when I was walking home from the summer school I was teaching at, I accidentally saw our precious priest in casual clothes, which was opposite of what a priest would wear. For example, I saw him one time in ripped jeans and leather jacket, was it what priests wore these days? He was always with some guys as they seemed to be doing some business. The first time I saw him, I wasn't sure if it was really San, but when I spotted him the second time as well, I was sure it was him. And I couldn't believe he fooled a whole fucking town with his sweet and innocent act of a priest, one everyone adored. But the truth was that he was a fucking menace, lying left and right, pretending to be someone he wasn’t. I didn't know what was going on, but I wanted to find out. There was no way I was going to let him continue fool the whole town. I wanted to get some evidence so that he would be kicked out and punished, so that he wouldn’t get any more innocent people into trouble.
So, I started following him around. I saw him on days when he completed his priest duties, visiting families, going to church, holding services. He did his job well, his acting was very convincing, everyone believed it. But during the night? He disguised himself very well, so that I wouldn’t really understand what was happening, but I knew he was meeting with some sort of gang on some nights, giving money over to them for something in exchange.
One evening, as I was following San through an alley, he had reached the end of it. He had just turned left, so I followed after him. But when I turned left as well, I couldn’t see him. I looked around, frowning as I wondered where he could have gone so fast, when suddenly, all I could feel was being pushed against the cold brick wall, fingers crawling around my neck, holding me still. I opened my eyes, which I had closed from the sudden impact. I came face to face with San's furious expression as he looked down at me. His hair fell into his eyes and they looked deadly, sharp.
"Had a good time following me, darling?" His voice was low, like a furious thunder. When he tilted his head, he looked like a psycho. His leather jacket had tightened around his biceps as he squeezed my throat. The same cross was still around his neck, just like at the pub.
"Who the fuck are you?!" I looked up at him, words hardly coming out of my mouth as his hand was still around my throat.
"Stop sticking your nose into everything, and just go home!" He raised his voice a little and loosened his hand just barely around my neck.
I took that as an opportunity, and grabbed his hand, just to tear it off my neck, "What the fuck San? Are you insane? Stop fucking fooling everyone, and get the fuck out of here!" I shouted at him; I was shacking from anger that boiled inside me.
"You have no idea what is going on, so please, just go home!" He started calming down a little as he looked behind his back from time to time. He was acting even more suspicious.
"Then tell me what this is. Cause I'm so fucking conf—" I was interrupted by an ear cracking breaking sound, followed by a loud engine.
"Fuck, they are here." San quickly grabbed my wrist and pulled me along, running out of the alley to his black Dodge, that was parked on the sidewalk, waiting for us patiently.
"What the fuck is happening?" I said as he opened the passenger seat's door, and pushed me down into the seat.
"Just sit in the car, Y/N, there's no time for questions. We have to get away from here." He closed the door with a loud thump and ran towards the other side of the car, just to sit behind the wheel and ignite the engine to life.
My heart thumped like crazy, I didn't understand what was happening. All I could see was San driving like a maniac, checking the side mirrors all the time as I saw a big black Jeep following after us madly. San geared up and pushed the gas pedal to the hilt, we were almost flying. The engine threatened to jump out of the bumper from the sudden speed. We were on the highway, a lot of cars around us, but San very quickly dodged all of them. We sped past them like lightning, just for San to suddenly swerve right and get us onto a lane leading away from the highway, then he swerved right again, then left. I lost the direction we were going in, all I could see was the black Jeep that chased us now having disappeared into the cold, and scary, night. San hadn’t stopped yet, he was driving us far away from our little town. I was terrified to speak up, I just knew this was going to be the end of me. All because I'm stupid and I can't sit on my ass and mind my own business. All because I just had to follow a fucking priest, who wasn't even a priest.
After having driven for half an hour in deafening silence, we finally stopped in front of a big mansion. I looked up at it through the windshield. So, this was going to be the location of my murder? I guess it would be fine, right? At least it's a nicer place to be killed at.
I couldn't look into San's eyes, but I felt him staring at me. My body was still a little shaky from the sudden adrenaline, I tried to calm down myself and accept my ridiculous fate.
"Hey, Y/N?" San spoke up after minutes of being in the silent and dark car. I guess he was waiting for me to calm down, and for himself as well.
I still couldn't look into his eyes as tears flooded in my eyes, the adrenaline was gone and its demise left nothing behind but fear. I don’t know if I was ever this scared in my whole life before.
I felt San's hand touching mine, very carefully. He might’ve realized that I was terrified, so he didn’t want to scare me anymore, "Hey, look at me." His voice was sweet again, like candies.
I breathed in and out, closing my eyes, to somehow fight against my fear, and then slowly turned towards him. As I looked at him and he saw my teary eyes and terrified expression, his features softened into a worried expression.
"Fuck, Y/N, I won't hurt you! I'm so sorry, darling." He cupped my cheeks, tears appearing in his eyes as well. Upon seeing his worried expression, I somehow felt kind of relieved.
"Aren't you going to kill me?" I asked in a whisper looking, down at my hands in fear.
"Look at me, Y/N!" His fingers curled around my chin to lift my head up. I somehow managed to look into his eyes again, and the softness I saw in them made me relax a bit more, "Of course, I won't kill you, don't say foolish things. I could never hurt you."
He cupped my face again, caressing my cheeks, "I'm sorry if I scared you, darling."
"What is going on?" I whispered again as the words hardly came out of my mouth, having gone dry like a desert.
 "C'm here." He took my hand and pulled me towards himself, making me crawl over the center console and straddle his lap. His hands immediately held onto my waist and pulled me closer to himself.  I circled my arms around his neck carefully as he pulled me down to his chest and hugged me tightly. I took a deep breath of his sweet candy-like cologne, the skin of his neck warm.
"I'm sorry for scaring you. I just…there is a lot going on, and I lost my head for a second. Please, forgive me…" His hands ran up and down my spine, caressing it, leaving nothing but shivers in its wake. His body was a like a magnet, I couldn't detach myself from it, it felt impossible.
"Tell me what’s going on." I whispered into his neck weakly, closing my eyes.
"Well, I'm not a priest." He said, still caressing my back.
I scoffed, "Wow, shocking news."
"How did you figure it out?" His hand slowly traveled up to the hair on my nape, massaging my scalp as I felt my body temperature rise, comically thinking that I was going to slip right through his fingers from the warm touch.
"I saw you a few times with those people…" The way he started massaging my scalp became a little firmer, and a moan almost slipped through my lips "…doing some business, I assumed. So, I started following you."
"My darling couldn't stay away from me, huh?" His hand resting on my waist slowly slipped under my blouse, his hot fingers starting to trace my warm skin up and down. Suddenly, the fantasy I had in mind while watching him in church, during the service, fought its way to the forefront of my mind, it being his hands slowly tracing down the curves of my body. I would’ve never thought that it was really going to happen.
I slowly lifted my head up from his chest to look into his eyes, which left a fire in its wake. The chill I felt an hour ago was gone in seconds, and I have never felt hotter in my life before seeing the heated desire in his eyes, it could’ve burned me up whole.
"Why are you doing this?" I asked him, trying to get rid of the tension between us.
"That’s a very long story, darling." He leaned his forehead against mine and closed his eyes. He pulling me impossibly close to himself as he held my waist with both hands.
"The night is long now that you have kidnapped me." I whispered barely inches away from his lips as they were almost touching mine.
"Yeah?" He whispered back, his lips hovering over mine, ghosting against them. His hands ran up my warm body passionately, his nails digging into my skin roughly.
I hummed at that, as words couldn't escape my lips, his hands on my skin making my stomach drop. He breathed shakily against my lips and I felt his body getting hotter as he finally pressed his lips against mine hungrily. I kissed him back with greed, our lips moving in sync against each other, my dry lips now fully wetted with his saliva, which tasted like sweet candies. His right hand tangled into my hair, running his fingers through it and it made me moan against his lips. San took the opportunity to slip his tongue inside my mouth, discovering every inch of it as my tongue danced along his passionately. I grinded down against his crotch, and he let out a guttural groan at the stimulation. His hand on my waist slipped down to my ass, and he grabbed it harshly just to push me down against himself harder. We both let out a moan at the feeling, and we separated to get some air as I slowly started feeling dizzy from the lack of oxygen. His forehead pressed against mine as we both breathed heavily against each other's mouths.
"We should stop…" San whispered against my mouth, his lips touching mine as he kissed me again, now a little slower. He sucked on my lower lip to take it between his teeth, and bit it so hard that blood started to drop down my chin, seeping into the collar of my blouse. I winced from the sudden pain, making me grind down harder against him. I have long lost my sanity; I have lost against the sins that caged me in until I wasn't aware of anything at all around me.
"Why?" I asked weakly as we separated again.
"Because I want to fuck you properly, on a bed." He told me, sharp eyes boring into my own, almost as if I had no other choice but to obey him. My body shook from the desire I felt for San, and I really had no other choice but to obey his wishes and let him fuck me senseless, giving in to the guilty pleasures.
Burn Baby Burn
Tumblr media
part 1
pairing: Cassian x reader
warnings: just a angsty little mess because I just so happen to love the over dramatic girlies with the victim complexes who do reckless shit to get their boyfriends/ex’s attention when they hurt your feelings. sue me.
summary: Cassian’s been busy and you come up with a plan to get his attention back—no matter how toxic your tactics may be
——
“Thinking about heading into the city for lunch, want to come?”
“Can’t,” Cassian bluntly replied, hazel eyes still trained on the paperwork before him—endless reports from the war camps he was supervising, evaluations, incoming recruits and even more paperwork for the ones who’d died in the battle with Hybern. His plate was stretched thin, no time for dates or walks in the garden to admire Elaine’s handiwork. No random kisses and greedy hands sliding down your body for just a few seconds alone in a room or a closet. “I’ve got to get this back to Rhys by the end of the week.”
You nod in understanding, a little gasp sounding when another idea spurs. “Maybe I could just make us something for here? I’ll light a few candles and maybe I can help you get through it quicker?”
He shakes his head, dark hair tied in a messy bun at the back of his head, stray strands falling from its hold to tickle at the backs of his ears and neck. “Another time, sweet girl. I could use the quiet.”
“Oh.” Your disappointment is evident and before Cass would’ve clocked it, would’ve put his papers down with a smile as he leaned back in his chair and beckoned you forward. There would’ve been kissing and compliments and achingly gentle apologies muttered into soft skin as his calloused hands grabbed handfuls of your ass. “Well, I love you.”
Tears prick at your eyes when Cassian doesn’t really say it back, just hums in acknowledgement before you leave the room. Self-doubt settles in by time you round the corner to the sitting room, hands shaking when you reach for the decanter and pour a glass so thick it makes you groan as it goes down. You suck in a sharp breath through your nose, willing away the tears because it was stupid and he was busy and it wasn’t really that big of a deal because he loved you; even if he was too busy to say it—or show it lately.
The glass fills once more, this time you drink it slower, a palm bracing on the counter for support as your sort your thoughts, so consumed in your own embarrassment, your own insecurity and dark questions snapped around your brain like snakes begging for a meal, spewing their venom. You don’t even notice the person sitting on the couch, smutty book lowered to take you in.
You still don’t notice them when you finish the second glass, your hands less shaky but the insecurity never leaves and neither do the tears when your mind wanders once more. You fill the glass a third time before scoffing to yourself and snatching the whole decanter and cradling it to your chest with full intent to bring it back to your room and polish it clean. You’re nearly at the door when you hear a page turn and the yelp that emits is comical, body jumping and hands barely maintaining their grasp on all the glass in your hands. “Mother above—you scared the hell out of me.”
Nesta raised a brow, silently surveilling the liquor, the red eyes and frown lines. “Throwing a party?”
A pity party.
“Something like that.” You shuffle from foot to foot, nose sniffling and embarrassment spreading now that you’ve been caught in such a vulnerable state.
“You alright?”
You debate saying anything, fingers toying with the ridges in the glassware, teeth biting at the soft skin of your inner cheek. “No, not really.” There’s a pause, steely eyes expectant and a pointer finger held her page in place as she closed the book in her lap. “I think—I feel like, maybe, Cassian isn’t as into me as he once was.”
“Why do you think that?”
You let out a sigh, falling into the couch across from her, the liquor sloshing in your glass but nothing spills as you settle into the pillow with your legs crossed. “He’s just been so busy lately and I understand that he’s busy—really, I do.” You take a gulp of your drink, suddenly wishing Elaine was up; she was always baking some tasty new recipe for cookies or frosted cakes, pies with freshly sliced fruit baked inside and a wicker basket crust on top. “But Rhys is really busy too and he’s always got time to pull Ferye into some room to get some.” You finally met her eyes when you confess, nose scrunched in disdain. “It’s been weeks since he’s even touched me.”
“And just breaking up with the idiot isn’t an option?”
“Not the first one, no.”
Nesta sighed, some life finally returning to her skin after consistently eating instead of surviving on wine and stale bread in that apartment she used to hole up in. “Then, the way I see it, your only other option is to show him what he’s missing.”
“How?”
“I don’t know,” She shrugged, opening her book back and settling her eyes at the top of the page. “Get his attention.”
Your gaze goes distant, hands moving mechanically as you finish your drink, mulling her words over before standing up abruptly. You rid yourself of the decanter, the liquor already settling into your system and warming you from the inside out. “Thanks.”
The whole week, you follow her advice to a tee.
Sexy lingerie with lacy thigh highs, underwear and a figure hugging corsets, nothing but fucking heels and all goddamned week—nothing. Not even a single glance.
Your anger builds and you kick things up a notch, resorting to sleeping on the couch, being sure to take many pillows and the main blanket when you leave but when you return the following morning—there’s no sign that Cassian had ever even come home.
Everything reaches its boiling point during a meeting called by the High Lord himself, the Inner Circle tucked around a large table, the lights dim and air a little stuffy with the incense burning. You’re supposed to be listening, Rhysand’s mouth is moving and the others are pitching in, exchanging words but none of them reach your ears, your eyes focused on Cassian on the other side of the table.
He’s calm—casual in the way he pitches ideas, joking about it being a no brainer for him to be picked on a mission if it involved needing to distract someone with their looks. You scoff before you can catch yourself and while everyone else looks confused, Nesta has a growing smirk in the corner of her mouth. “What?”
“Nothing.” It’s not convincing and you don’t bother to acknowledge the fact that everyone was exchanging glances around you, suddenly clued in on the fact that maybe there was trouble in paradise. You suck in a sharp breath, hands crossed before you on the table as you look over at Rhys. “How about you just send me?”
Rhysand raised a brow, back straight and shoulders square as dark hair fell over his forehead. “I hadn’t considered that you’d want to. You don’t even like Eris.”
“No,” You agree, the word drawled out. “But he likes me and that’s kind of really all that matters if you want this to work right? Someone gets in, procures the intel you need and gets out before anyone suspects a thing.”
There’s a pause and only the crackling sound of the fire fills the space before the High Lord murmurs out a surprised, “I suppose there couldn’t be any harm if you’re offering.”
Cassian lets out a noise of disapproval, face stoney and filled with defiance. “There’s plenty harm—are you kidding? There’s no way she’s fit for the job.”
“A better fit than you.” You retort snappily, hands curling into fists at his words; the blatant lack of faith in you sending an uneasy, bubbling sensation in your belly. “I’m practically shaking at the thought of having one males attention for a whole night. In fact, it would be my pleasure to distract him into giving me what I want.” Nesta lets a laugh pass her lips at your words, not bothering to hide her amusement when you stand from your seat. “If we’re done here, I should start looking for a dress now. Something skimpy and fireproof.”
You don’t have to turn back to know you’d won this round—the splitting sound of a chair breaking against the wall was answer enough.
An hour passes, two—three before a knock sounds at your door. “It’s open.”
Mor enters seconds later, a dress draped over her arm and a grim expression on her face. You’d known her history with Eris; guilt twisting for not thinking about her before diving head first into your selfish plan, too caught up in the moment to consider how your words could’ve affected her. “That wasn’t really like you down there.”
You ignore her words. “I’m sorry about what I said—I didn’t. I should’ve taken your feelings into consideration.”
She waves you off, face still a little pale but Mor doesn’t linger on it too long, either too afraid or too tired to rehash old traumas. Instead she points to the dress in her hand, certainly skimpy but quite beautiful. It was warm, all deep reds and rich golds with diamonds that sparkled like embers in a flame when the light caught it. “You should wear it—not quite fireproof but I think it should fit just fine.” Her shoulder bumps yours playful when she passes you, sifting through your shoes and jewelry to pair with it when she drawls out a, “So, what’s the deal with you and Cass?”
Your eyes roll instantly. “Nothing. He’s a grade A prick and I’m over it.”
She raised a brow, glancing at you over her shoulder, taking in your furrowed brow and deep scowl even as your hands traced gently over the dress. “Over it?”
“Over being ignored and shoved to the side. Like seriously, maybe I should join one of those war camps as one of his new recruits. That way he’ll be forced to at least look at me for longer than thirty seconds.” Your anger feels like it becomes a tangible thing, a bubbling ball of molten lava that burned everything it touched and for a moment, Morrigan softened. “You know what, I don’t want to talk about this. I leave in an hour and I could use a bath—and more wine.”
You stomp off to retrieve just that, disappearing into the bathing chamber with the whole bottle when Nesta rested her shoulder in the doorway, that same little smirk in the corner of her mouth when she regarded Mor. “Just when I was beginning to think nothing interesting ever happened around here.”
The Price of Immortality
(Klaus x Reader) (Part 2)
Part 1
Tumblr media
Summary: In New Orleans, Rebekah wants to defy Klaus's demand to introduce a human girl, (y/n), into their supernatural world. She invites her friend for a night out at Rousseau's, hoping for one last evening before revealing her vampire identity. As she navigates the streets, Rebekah meets a mysterious witch who knows her name, hinting at deeper connections. Despite her intrigue, Rebekah remains cautious, sensing the encounter is significant and potentially dangerous.
Words: 3,814
Rebekah stormed through the grand foyer, her high heels echoing sharply against the polished floorboards with each determined step. Elijah watched from afar, concerned, rippling through his usual composure. She didn't spare him a glance as she continued her unyielding march. Her face was a storm of anger, and her eyes blazed with unwavering determination as she headed for the exit, daring anyone to stand in her way.
"Klaus will not dictate my choices," Rebekah hissed, her voice a venomous whisper meant only for Elijah's ears. She didn't wait for a response—there was none to give. The door slammed behind her, vibrating with the force of her departure, a testament to her resolute defiance.
Life pulsed with an infectious rhythm under the vibrant New Orleans night sky. The streets buzzed with music, laughter, and the scent of Cajun spices drifting from every corner. In a city celebrated for its joie de vivre, there was no shortage of revelry.
However, Rebekah had no time for such frivolity as she stormed through the bustling crowds, her anger boiling. Her mind was a swirling whirlpool, each thought revolving around Klaus's non-negotiable demand: she had to introduce (y/n) to him. The idea of involving a human girl in their ageless games was unfathomable. This demand not only threatened to disrupt the delicate balance of power among supernatural beings but also posed a risk to their very existence.
Rebekah's fingers glided over her phone, a wave of anticipation coursing through her veins. The soft glow of the screen illuminated her face, casting a quiet aura over the eager lines etched into her features. With swift precision, she typed out a message, each word infused with a sense of sisterhood: "(y/n), let's break away from the norm tonight. Join me at Rousseau's."
Time seemed to sway in rhythm, with the jazz notes drifting in from outside as Rebekah awaited a reply. Suddenly, the cheerful chime of an incoming text broke the silence: "OK, I'll be there in 30."
"Looking forward to it," Rebekah replied, already feeling the comforting promise of their impending girls' night spreading within her. She tucked her phone into her pocket and set off toward Rousseau's, each step resonating with determination. Tonight wasn't just about camaraderie but about cherishing one final evening before (y/n) discovered the truth about Rebekah and her vampire lineage.
With a determined stride, Rebekah navigated through the sultry New Orleans night under the watchful gaze of a crescent moon. The gas lamps cast an erratic ballet of shadows on her path, flickering their light across the cobblestones. As she approached a roadside bar, something tugged at her peripheral vision—an unexpected pull that diverted her attention.
A figure was seated at a table on the sidewalk, its form shaped by darkness and intrigue. It wasn't just its sudden appearance that startled Rebekah; it was an invisible tether that seemed to draw her closer. She felt an irresistible force beckoning her, like a whispered secret carried on the night breeze, adding an unexpected twist to her evening.
Responding to this unseen call, Rebekah veered off course toward the solitary figure. Her footfalls echoed softly against the stone walkway as she approached, attracted by an undeniable magnetism.
When their eyes met, it felt as though fate had brought them together in this unforeseen moment. She closed the distance between herself and the mysterious figure.
"Hello, Rebekah," the figure said, her voice a blend of warmth and mischief.
Rebekah's heart raced as she suddenly stopped, her gaze locked onto the stranger before her. How did she know her name? The hair on the back of her neck stood on end as she regarded the woman with wary eyes, ready to defend herself if necessary. She couldn't shake the unsettling feeling that this encounter was no mere coincidence.
Rebekah studied the woman's clothing with narrowed eyes; it consisted of layers that seemed to embody ancient wisdom and hidden strength. The silver pendants hanging from her neck shimmered in the dim light.
"How do you know who I am?" Rebekah demanded, her curiosity sharpening. There was an edge to her stance, a graceful readiness that belied her calm exterior.
The witch held her gaze unwaveringly, unafraid. "Names hold power, especially yours. It resonates with the very foundation of this city." A sly grin spread across her lips.
Rebekah's eyes narrowed as she considered the woman before her. She could feel a power emanating from her—a familiar and foreign force. This was no ordinary witch; there was something ancient and primal about her.
"In that case, you must truly be a witch," Rebekah replied, a sense of unease settling in her stomach. She recognized the supernatural presence before her: a kindred spirit but not an ally.
The woman gave a low chuckle, her gaze intently on Rebekah's face. "I am more than a witch, my dear," she replied cryptically. "But I am not your enemy."
Rebekah raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Forgive me if I find that hard to believe."
"Your mistrust is well-placed," the woman conceded with a nod. "After all, we both come from powerful bloodlines with long histories of conflict."
Rebekah studied her carefully, trying to decipher the hidden meanings in her words. Something about this stranger piqued her curiosity and stirred an unexplainable connection within her.
"What do you want from me?" she finally asked.
The woman leaned forward slightly, resting her elbows on the table and intertwining her fingers before her face. "I have been watching you for some time now," she said quietly, her voice laden with mystery. "I have a proposition for you, Rebekah. A way to break free from Klaus's control and forge your own path."
"And what would compel you to do such a thing?" Rebekah challenged her voice firm despite the unsettling revelation. Anxiety wove itself into her words. "Who are you, exactly?"
A cryptic smile crept onto the woman's face as the night enveloped them in darkness. "I am many things, Rebekah," she began, her voice reaching out like tendrils in the fog. "Some call me an enchanter. Others call me a spirit walker."
"But you," her gaze wandered over Rebekah's form. You may refer to me as Odette," she revealed, her name adding another layer to the mystery that surrounded her.
The witch gestured to a small, rickety table nestled between two overgrown ferns. "Sit," she commanded, her tone leaving no room for argument.
Rebekah hesitated. A part of her rebelled against the command, her instincts screaming at her to turn and walk away. But curiosity had always been her weakness; tonight, it seemed to be prevailing.
With slow, deliberate movements, Rebekah followed Odette's instructions and sat across from the witch, mindful of the distance between them. The table creaked under her weight as if burdened by the tension in the air.
"Let's get one thing clear, Odette," Rebekah started, her eyes never leaving the witches. "I don't take kindly to being observed without my consent."
Odette merely shrugged at her words, though a glimmer of amusement lit up her eyes. "Your initial journey brought you here to meet (y/n). The vampires you know will soon reveal their true nature to her," she said almost nonchalantly.
How did she know...? Shock prickled through Rebekah's spine as she absorbed the woman's words. Secrets she had held close were suddenly laid bare before this stranger. A chill ran through her veins as a new realization dawned: this was no ordinary witch.
"Why are you telling me this?" Rebekah demanded, fighting back a swirl of emotions.
"A storm is brewing," Odette replied calmly, idly running her fingers over the worn surface of the table. "And it is drawing closer than you think."
"What kind of storm?" Rebekah asked cautiously; there was something about Odette that unsettled her.
"One that threatens to topple all your carefully laid plans," Odette answered cryptically.
"Is that a threat?" Rebekah's voice sharpened like a blade beneath the nebulous warning.
Odette shook her head, strands of silver-grey hair catching the dim lamplight. "Not a threat, dear heart... but a prophecy."
The word hung between them: "prophecy." It held such weight and dread that Rebekah's thoughts churned around it, a cold fear gnawing at her insides.
"You're trying to frighten me," Rebekah accused, her voice a low growl. But her heart hammered in her chest, betraying her bravado.
Odette sat back in her chair, the beginnings of a smirk playing on her lips. "Even immortals fear what they cannot control," she said softly, holding Rebekah's gaze unflinchingly. "You, Rebekah Mikaelson, cannot control what is coming."
Rebekah bristled at the ominous declaration, silent as she judged the witch. From her mouth came prophecies and threats, a swirling tempest threatening to swallow her whole.
"I have weathered many storms in my lifetime," Rebekah finally replied, her voice carrying an edge. She stood tall against Odette's words, a bastion of defiance amidst fear's troubling whispers.
Odette nodded, her eyes glinting with a strange kind of knowledge. "As have I," she agreed, almost sympathetically. "But each storm is different."
The sounds of the French Quarter filled the silence that had settled between them. The pulsating rhythm of jazz blared from a nearby bar while tourists and locals bustled down the cobblestone streets. Amidst it all, Rebekah felt strangely isolated.
"Why should I listen to you?" Rebekah finally asked, skepticism lacing her voice.
Odette paused for a moment, considering her response. "Because, like me, you're bound to this city... and its fate."
An icy chill ran through Rebekah's veins. Fate was a fickle mistress; she had witnessed it first hand throughout her countless years of existence. It often spelled doom for those who dared to interfere. Still, there was something about Odette's words that captivated her.
"How do I prepare for this storm you speak of?" Rebekah found herself asking, despite her reservations.
"Speak your questions to the cards," the witch instructed, laying out the intricate designs face down.
Rebekah's voice trembled slightly as she replied, "My only goal is to uncover the truth. I'm trying to protect a friend from my own family."
Her heart skipped a beat as she watched the witch flip over the first card: The Lovers. It seemed an apt metaphor for her turbulent relationships, both past and present.
"A bond of passion, intertwined fates," Odette murmured, her eyes meeting Rebekah's. "But danger lurks."
Rebekah's pulse quickened at the mention of danger. She had faced many threats in her long life, but this one felt more ominous than any she had encountered before.
"What kind of danger?" Rebekah asked, unable to hide the concern in her voice.
Odette shook her head, refusing to elaborate. "The cards will reveal what they will," she said cryptically.
With a shrug, Rebekah turned her attention back to the cards spread out before them. She watched with rapt interest as Odette turned over another card – The Tower.
"The Tower represents upheaval and destruction," Odette explained, tapping a finger on the card. "Something big is coming that will shake your world."
A shiver ran down Rebekah's spine at the witch's words. She knew all too well how quickly things could change and how fragile even immortals could be in the face of catastrophe.
"What can I do to prevent it?" Rebekah asked, hoping for some guidance or solution.
Odette's lips quirked into a small smile. "That is for you to determine," she replied mysteriously. "But beware – actions have consequences."
Rebekah nodded solemnly, understanding the weight behind those words all too well.
As Odette turned over more cards – Death, The Hanged Man, and The Fool – Rebekah couldn't help but feel a sense of unease settling over her like a heavy cloak. Each card seemed to speak of impending doom and chaos.
But then there was one final card – The Star—a ray of hope amidst the darkness.
"The Star represents hope and guidance," Odette said, her voice softer now. She laid a gentle hand on Rebekah's shoulder. "It shows that despite the coming storm, there's still a chance for redemption."
Silence filled the room again as Rebekah mulled over Odette's words. Hope was a dangerous thing - it could build empires or bring ruin just as quickly. But right now, it was all she had.
"I'll prepare myself then," she murmured, more to herself than to the witch. "I'll face this storm head-on."
"And may the wind blow in your favor, Rebekah," Odette responded. Her hands began to clear away the cards, each sliding softly against the worn table.
Rebekah watched her thoughtfully, appreciating the witch's wisdom yet dreading what was to come.
She rose from the table and looked down at the witch. "Thank you. Odette for whatever this was."
Odette merely nodded, her dark eyes watching Rebekah with patient wisdom. "Stay safe, child."
Rebekah turned on her heel and headed towards the bar.
"And so, it begins," the witch murmured as she watched Rebekah disappear into the crowded street.
Rebekah entered the busy bar, feeling the powerful energy pulsing in time with her own heartbeat. The air was heavy with a tantalizing mix of bourbon and spices, dancing to the beat of jazz and animated conversations.
Amid the bustling crowd, she scanned the faces for one she recognized. And there it was, a familiar face in the sea of strangers. She maneuvered her way through the crowd towards her friend.
She found (y/n) sitting at the bar, a half-empty glass in front of her. Her cheeks were flushed, and her eyes glinted with mischief as she raised her glass in greeting.
"Rebekah, you're just in time," (y/n) said, a teasing grin on her face. "I was starting to get bored."
"I'm surprised," Rebekah replied, her voice laced with wit. "You never struck me as someone who would get bored of a stiff drink."
(y/n) chuckled and sipped her cocktail, the ice clinking in the glass. Rebekah watched her for a moment, feeling anxiety prickling at the back of her neck. She needed to tell (y/n) about the impending danger, but how could she do so without frightening her?
"(y/n)," Rebekah began, her tone serious. The shift in her demeanor did not go unnoticed; (y/n)'s grin slowly faded as she turned her full attention to her friend.
"You look worried," (y/n) observed, concern etched on her features. "What's happened?"
Rebekah hesitated. How could she possibly explain? She had seen things that were invisible to humans — fates laid out like tarot cards, cryptic warnings from centuries-old witches, and danger sketched across the night sky.
"Nothing's happened. We're having a Mardi Gras party at my place tomorrow night," Rebekah lied, her voice steady despite the tumult inside her. "My family... they've been asking to meet you."
(y/n)'s look shifted from surprise to excitement, the looming danger momentarily forgotten. "A real Mardi Gras party? I'd love to!" she responded eagerly. The prospect of joining an authentic Cajun tradition excited her enough to dismiss Rebekah's sudden seriousness.
A warm smile spread across Rebekah's face, masking the true terror that gnawed at her insides. "Great! The festivities will begin after sunset."
"With real gumbo and jambalaya?" (y/n) asked, her eyes sparkling in anticipation.
"All authentic," Rebekah assured her. She sipped the remainder of her drink, feeling it burn a hot trail to unsettle her already-roiling stomach.
"You're quiet tonight," (y/n) interrupted, jolting her back to reality. "Is everything OK?"
Just then, as Rebekah was concocting another elaborate lie to distract (y/n) from the ongoing subject, an all-too-familiar figure came into her line of sight, leaning against the bar.
Her brother raised the crystal glass to his lips, the amber liquid sloshing dangerously close to the rim. He took a long sip of his usual whiskey on the rocks, attempting to drown out the insatiable hunger clawing at his insides. He swallowed the burning alcohol, using it to numb both his urges and his conscience.
Slowly, he turned to face Rebekah, a cruel smirk painted on his lips. With a sharp gesture, he taunted her, daring her to make a move against him.
"Just my bloody luck..." Rebekah muttered through gritted teeth.
(y/n) glanced at her, confused. "What is it, Rebekah? Seriously, something is off with you tonight."
"Can we just leave? Now?" Rebekah nearly pleaded, forcing half-hearted smiles and nods.
Before (y/n) could respond, Klaus' cold voice pierced through the lively chatter of the bar. "Why are you so quick to leave, Rebekah? We are just getting started."
His gaze traveled from his sister's petrified expression to (y/n), oblivious to her companion's bloodline. For a moment, Klaus hesitated as he caught sight of (y/n)'s innocent radiance under the dim lantern light.
The unexpected softening of his ice-blue eyes surprised even him. A warmth bloomed within him that had no place in his life—a dangerous attraction to this human woman that resembled something other than hunger for blood. It was something unnerving yet thrilling.
Rebekah watched in shock, perceiving this transformation happening within him—the mighty original vampire displaying an alarming vulnerability, not provoked by violence or manipulation, but by sheer fascination with someone seemingly insignificant in their immortal existence.
Bitter resentment burrowed deep within her at this paradoxical display of feelings from Klaus, who had previously been indifferent to anything even remotely humane. How could he be drawn to her delicate friend of all people?
"Is everything alright?" The question, seeping out uneasily from (y/n), draws both siblings back into reality.
"All good, darling," replies Rebekah with feigned cheerfulness. She locks her eyes menacingly with her brother as if she's confronting a predator who is helplessly exposed.
"All well indeed," Klaus echoes, his gaze still fixed on (y/n). His voice carries an undercurrent of something unidentifiable, even to him. He quickly shakes off the strange sensations clouding his thoughts and proceeds with a forced smile that does little to calm Rebekah's brewing anger.
(y/n) leans in close to Rebekah, her voice low. "Who is this guy?" Klaus responds with a charming smile.
"Oh Rebekah, darling, it's not very polite to keep me a secret from your stunning friend," he teases, giving a playful wink.
Bitterness flares in Rebekah's chest. "Klaus," she spits out his name like a curse, barely concealing her hostility, "is my brother."
"Your brother?" (y/n) utters, her voice laced with disbelief. His eyes flicker to meet hers, and for a moment, she sees a glint of amusement dancing in them, which sends an unsettling feeling deep within her stomach.
"But—" her voice trails off under Klaus's intense gaze before she gathers enough breath to whisper, "You don't seem anything alike."
"No wonder," Klaus retorts, his smile tinged with a hint of cruelty as he continues this dangerous game, seemingly at the whim of Rebekah, who has hidden her feelings from him until now.
Rebekah interjects like an approaching storm cloud—dark and foreboding. "(y/n) was just mentioning our Mardi Gras party tomorrow night," she declares boldly. Looking at her brother, she silently pleads for him to play along.
Klaus pauses before answering, smiling at (y/n). "Yes, of course, our family's annual Mardi Gras party. How could I forget?" He clasps his hands together.
"Is this your first Mardi Gras, (y/n)?" Klaus asks, his gaze unwavering from her face. The weight of his attention causes a slight blush to color her cheeks.
"Yes," she replies, smiling slightly under his intense stare. "Is it as wild and fun as they say?"
Klaus smirked at her question. "Oh, even more so," he replied, a dangerous glint flickering in his eyes.
"Wild enough to awaken the beast within us all," he added cryptically, his gaze piercing into (y/n)'s as if offering a whisper of a challenge on the edge of his smirk. Rebekah glanced sharply at her brother, catching the double entendre. She shifted nervously in her seat.
(y/n), however, just laughed at his words, the sound a soft, tinkling contrast to the simmering atmosphere at their table. "I've heard rumors about supernatural elements spicing up the nightlife here. Are you confirming them?" she asked playfully.
Her innocent question sparked a glint of amusement in Klaus's eyes. He let out a low chuckle that echoed through the dim bar and sent a shiver crawling up Rebekah's spine.
"I'm confirming nothing more than our city's uncanny ability to unleash hidden desires," Klaus answered cryptically, his gaze still holding hers as if sharing an intimate secret.
Rebekah's heart pounded in her chest; she needed to divert the conversation before Klaus took it any further—before (y/n)'s life took an unexpected turn down the supernatural rabbit hole. "(y/n), I think we should head home. I need to start preparing for tomorrow's party with my brothers," she hastily interjected.
(y/n)'s smile faded from her face. "Oh, sure thing, Becca."
Klaus remained silent as Rebekah made excuses and pulled (y/n) up from the table, his eyes lingering on her. The intensity of his gaze unsettled her, making her heart pound in rhythm with the jazz music drifting in from the streets.
(y/n) took slow, confident steps as she walked away, her hips swaying with each movement. She turned back to catch Klaus's eye, flashing a charming smile that made his heart skip a beat. "It was nice meeting you," she purred, her voice dripping with allure.
Klaus couldn't resist smirking at the thought of seeing her again tomorrow. "I can't wait for our next encounter," he replied smoothly, his eyes sparkling with anticipation. The flirtatious tension between them crackled in the air as they went their separate ways, unable to shake thoughts of each other from their minds.
As the two women left the bar, Klaus watched them go, his cold smile fading slowly into the shadows. His thoughts swirled like a tempest—both treacherous and exciting. He lingered on the door even after they had disappeared from sight.
Behind him, a dark figure emerged from the bar's shadows. Elijah's face was unreadable as always, yet a hint of concern creased his features as he observed Klaus brooding.
"We shouldn't involve mere humans in our affairs, especially not her," he warned, his voice heavy with disapproval yet tinged with an unusual edge of worry.
Klaus turned to face his older brother, a smirk on his lips. "Worried that I can't behave myself for one evening?"
Elijah ignored the taunt. "This isn't about me," he replied. "This is about you and your dangerous fascination."
Klaus considered Elijah's warning for a moment before brushing it off with an air of indifference. "What's life without a bit of danger, brother?" he mused aloud. His eyes held an eerie calm as he looked away, his thoughts already lost in the enticing prospect of tomorrow's Mardi Gras festivities.
Realizing your true feelings for Gojo after he stands up for you
Tumblr media
Pairing: Gojo x fem!reader
Word Count: 1,4k
Synopsis: You told yourself countless times that you aren't able to like Gojo Satoru, that he is nothing but a jerk. Until he stands up for you, until he shows you what he really thinks of you...
Warnings: literally wrote this in my break at work so don't come for me lol, fluff fluff fluff, reader getting insulted
Tumblr media
Oh, how much you hate the way basically everyone looks at you. Well, not technically you, to be exact. It’s rather the person walking next to you who drowns in attention every time you are forced to go out together.
Not that you’d understand the hype. Gojo Satoru, the blessed one, the honored one, the strongest fucking jujutsu sorcerer of your lifetime.
“What’s wrong? Feeling left out, (y/n)?”
And probably the biggest pain in your ass.
“You’re such a whore for attention it hurts”, you bite back while rolling your shaded eyes the way you always do the second he opens his mouth.
His laughter vibrates through your body, annoys you to the core. When will this madness finally come to an end? When will they finally begin to send you onto missions with Geto, Yu or fuck, even Nanami? Why on earth does it always have to be him?
“Caught me there I guess. But it’s not my fault that I’m easy to look at. Not like you.”
You force yourself to take a deep breath in and out, to calm your tingling nerves and stop your fist from twitching. That fucker has some really good nerves. Only the sound of his name next to you simply drives you insane, let alone his stupid comments and oh too annoying voice. Is there really anything good on Gojo Satoru, something you might like?
“I hate you”, you hiss through gritted teeth.
“Aww, don’t be like that, (y/n). We both know that isn’t true”, he purrs, ready to grab your shoulder when you yank away.
“I’ll break your fucking nose if you touch me, jerk.”
“I’d love to see you try, princess.”
“I’ve never seen you around here.”
The sudden soft female voice that interrupts your rambling catches you off guard.
There she stands, an undeniable beauty with curves in just the right places and blonde hair that looks like strands of gold. The bluest eyes, the most breathtaking smile. And of course, her gaze is fixated on Satoru.
“That’s because it’s my first time here. After all, my eyes definitely wouldn’t have miss someone like you”, he replies with that cheeky grin you know oh too well, the cheeky grin that makes your blood boil in an instant.
Really? This is probably the worst time to start a flirty conversation. You were sent here to detect a special grade curse, to save this damned city from getting scorched. But he? He has nothing but her blonde hair and delicate smile in his pea brain
“Don’t you think that this isn’t the right time for a conversation like that?”, you mumble irritably.
“We’re just having a little talk. Who are you, his girlfriend? I highly doubt that. A girl like you would never have a chance with a guy like him.”
You have to blink a few times when her sugary voice spits at you with pure venom.
It shouldn’t bother you. Why would it? Gojo is the last person walking on earth you’d be in a relationship with, the last person who would ever want you. You, with your average looks. You, being a grade 2 sorcerer who has nothing special to offer. You, who never actually allowed herself to like Gojo. You, who is nothing compared to the woman standing in front of you.
Then why do her words feel like a knife in your heart? Why are you standing there like an idiot, sunglasses barely covering your pain? Why does his presence next to you suddenly sting so badly?
“Pretty disgusting words for someone with that face. Do you really think the world belongs to you because you look good? Let me tell you something: Apart from being hot, (y/n) is also unremarkable smart, astute and sarcastic. Someone as simple-minded as you should better avoid me. Now get lost, will you?”
What.
On.
Earth.
Did Gojo Satoru really stand up for you? No, did Gojo Satoru just call you “hot, unremarkable smart, astute and sarcastic”? Your heart almost beats out of your chest, pounding so roughly against your ribcage that you feel like fainting any given minute. A cruel storm of butterflies almost causes your guts to turn, makes you see stars. Are you dreaming, maybe? This can’t be reality. It’s impossible that-
“Hey, are you okay? I hope you don’t trust that stinky girl”, Gojo speaks out softly.
You can sense the way he eyes you up and down through his sunglasses, the little pout on his face revealing that he’s truly worried. Is that really the boy who teases you until you lose your mind completely? God, how much you hate him, how much you want to punch him into his stupid perfect face.
You let out the breath you didn’t know you were holding. But what is that little part of your brain that almost dies in excitement, then? What are those strange butterflies that never invaded you since you joined Jujutsu High?
“Hey, look at me.”
Your eyes dart upwards, get greeted by his bright blue orbs that look down at you in a seriousness you’ve never seen before.
“Tell me you don’t believe her.”
“She said nothing I don’t already know”, you reply dryly.
He shakes his head, still staring down at you with furrowed eyebrows. Who is this guy? What are those feelings? Why aren’t you able to look away like you always do? Gojo is only playing with you the way he does constantly. His bright blue orbs aren’t to be trust and you know it.
“I would choose you a hundred times before someone like her, (y/n).”
It’s like all life drained from your body, blank eyes staring at him in shock. This really has to be a dream. When was the last time Gojo has been nice to you? Probably never. He constantly teases you, drives you inane, makes you mad, makes you regret your decision to come to Jujutsu High and also…
Makes you feel save, makes you feel good about yourself, makes you feel affection.
Affection? For Gojo?
“I…I have to go”, you blurt out so abruptly that you almost trip over your own feet while trying to haste away.
He’s only picking on you like he always does. Gojo Satoru, considering a romantic relationship with you? You huff out loud, cheeks redden by the sheer thought of the dumb look you gave him. You aren’t better than the girls you despise so much, after all. He truly managed to wrap you around his finger like everyone else, even though you told yourself over and over to hate him.
What a pathetic jerk you are.
You spin around so fast you almost fall over, only to get caught in a pair of strong arms.
“You don’t believe me”, Gojo notes while keeping you in place.
“Why would I?”, you press out, not daring to look at him once again.
You need to get away from this cursed place, away from the honored one. It’s time to go back to normal, back to hating him with all your heart. Because this is all he is, right? Gojo Satoru is nothing but your rival…right?
“Maybe I can convince you with something else.”
Just when you’re about to protest and freeing yourself, he pulls you even closer and presses his lips against yours.
Time stands still, the lenses of your sunglasses pressing so violently against Gojo’s skin that they crack.
This.
This is the stuff your wildest dreams are made of, a dream you didn’t even allow yourself to think about. If there’s one thing that always seemed impossible to you, it was this. Why would you ever be more than Gojo’s rival, what is the purpose of seeing anything apart from a pain in the ass in him?
This right here.
Out of instinct, you wrap your arms around him as well, pull him closer and closer, take in his delicious scent. The sheer feeling of his lips collapsing into yours leaves you breathless, makes your lungs ache in the urge for air.
Until he lets go of you while panting hard, now glowing eyes fixated on you so intimidating that you feel yourself blushing.
“Believing me know?”
“You stained my sunglasses”, you breathe out mindlessly.
————-
Her black timberlands clicked up the concrete steps, the wind brushed against her richly pigmented face. Her manicured hand gripped the brass doorknob and strolled into the medium-sized living room. Her brown pupils scanned the space, taking in the four amber-orange painted walls surrounding her, the walls were adorned with a few family picture frames and artwork. The scent of weed and cologne filled her nostrils while the door slammed shut behind her. Her eyelids widened in shock.
With lightning-fast reflexes, she spun on her heel and retrieved her sleek Beretta Model 81 from her handbag. Waving the gun, she pressed it firmly against his forehead, her face dark and threatening. she recognized the man before her, her eyes narrowed and she smacked her lips in distaste. "You're not exactly who I want to see right now," she spat, her voice dripping with venom. "It's like that now? You ain't happy to see me, baby?" Cane grinned mischievously, his fingers deftly moving the gun away from his forehead. Unfazed by her fierce demeanor, he met her glare head-on.
The notorious drug dealer, Cane Tejada, was both her sworn enemy and secret lover. As the oldest son of the powerful Tejada dynasty, his influence was felt throughout the city.
"What the fuck do you want Cane? I'm busy right now, and aren't you supposed to be talking with your mom or still stalking Tariq around his campus?" Deja snapped bitterly, uninterested in his presence.
Deja was the second child of the Pierce family, sandwiched between her older sister, Diamond, and her younger sister, Destiny. The Pierces were renowned in their ways for their business in the drug cartel, with Deja's parents, Dana and Divine, at the center.
Despite their initial hopes of steering their daughters toward higher education, the girls all eventually became entangled in the family business. Growing up quickly, their gentle natures were hidden behind their cutthroat tendencies.  Diamond was the cool and cutthroat one, while Deja exuded a silent but deadly intelligence. Meanwhile, Destiny was the most ruthless and cunning of the trio. These sisters were the epitome of a little sugar, spice, and everything not so nice.
The Pierce and Tejada families had been at odds for as long as anyone could remember. If any member of either clan happened upon the other, an altercation was sure to follow - and it wouldn't be pretty. But unknown to their parents and siblings, Deja and Cane had been engaging in a secret rendezvous. Their first intimate encounter was meant to be a one-time thing, but Cane couldn't resist the urge to see her again.
The problem was that Deja was just as hooked as he was. She couldn't stop thinking about how he had touched her and the intense way they had locked eyes and lips. They were like addictive drugs to each other, and now they were hopelessly entangled.
It was one night at some random party, after a few drinks and almost killing each other but there were too many people around. The two of them ended up in a drunken make-out session and had the best-drunk sex in the bathroom, that night was one to remember but left them wanting more. Guilt settled in Deja after the first night but shortly faded away when they crossed paths, he longed for her touch while she tried to forget about him.
The forbidden lovers have been seeing each other ever since that first night, it was real bad.
Deja sported a black tee long-sleeved shirt and matching hoodie that hugged her frame, while her black jeans pooled around her legs. Her ginger box braids swayed at her elbows, and a black beanie kept her head warm against the upcoming cold weather. Black timberlands adorned her feet, tied neatly in a little bow. A gold necklace with her initial 'D' hung around her neck, and small glinting gold hoop earrings slowly swung from her ears. Her lips sparkled with clear lip gloss, completing her edgy yet chic look.
"First of all, My mom is too busy with her own shit anyway, and fuck that bitch ass nigga Tariq, I'm only here to see you and what your fine ass is up to.." Cane flirted seductively, his eyes raking down to her backside. She had a hold on him that he seem to couldn't shake.
"It was one night Cane! I have a boyfriend now, so this little fling between me and you is dead. You know damn well we can't be seen together because of our families right?" Deja snapped, her words filled with bitterness as she knew he didn't care about the gravity of their situation.
Cane's annoyance grew, his face twisted in frustration. He rolled his eyes at her and strode towards her with his arms folded behind his back. His head shook disapprovingly as he let out a tsk under his breath. She lifted her head, only to have him press his hand against the wall above her, causing her steps to stumble and hit the wall behind her.
"You're cute when you try to act tough. Clearly, he ain't fucking you right the way I do..." Cane whispered into her ear, relishing in her bashful blush on her face. "That nigga doesn't know how to handle you the way I do. You're mine." He declared, licking his lips with possessiveness.
Deja clutched her gun in her hand while it was still hanging at her sides, she wanted to smack him across with her gun to shut him up but she remained still and silent, "That's bullshit. You think I'm yours just 'cause we fucked? Boy please..." She fibbed, she knew he was right, he was only one that can handle her, her mind replayed memories of their recent tryst.
"Are you really going to let me be wrong without even walking out that door?" Cane teased, a sly smirk playing on his lips as she gripped the collar of his black hoodie with her hands.
Without a second thought, she pulled him in and pressed her lips against his, the passion between them igniting like a spark in the night. As they kissed, she couldn't help but moan with pleasure, the temptation too strong to resist.
♡♥︎♡
"Deja, are you okay?"
She heard her older sister's voice, Deja lifted her head from her phone and swiftly tucked it away in her pocket. She adjusted her beanie, attempting to conceal the exhaustion that lingered on her face. "I'm fine," Deja replied with a forced grin. However, her response was far from the truth.
"Are you sure that you're alright? After all, didn't you stop by the stash house and go to Romeo's house?" Diamond asked in concern, Her attention was drawn to the dark purple marks on her neck, indicating that it was Romeo, given their nearly six-month relationship.
"Yep I did, Romeo loves to leave hickeys on my neck when we fuck sooo..." Deja chuckled sheepishly, she tried to mask the scent of weed and cologne from her clothes with a spritz of rose-scented perfume on her neck and attire.
Diamond's eyes grew wide as her sister's words hit her. She instinctively held up her hands in defense. "Gross, okay, okay! Spare me the details. If you didn't want to talk about it, you could have just said so," Diamond retorted. She quickly changed the subject, "By the way, there's a party for Destiny tonight. She's really hoping you can make it, if you're not busy with Romeo or selling at the stash house." Diamond left the room, giving her sister a small smile.
With a frustrated groan, Deja collapsed onto her mattress, the springs creaking beneath her weight. She couldn't stand the burden of hiding this forbidden affair from her loved ones any longer.
Yet, whenever she was with Cane, the guilt seemed to scatter, replaced by a thrilling feeling. She yearned for his touch and the rush it brought her. But tonight, she hoped to avoid him. Her phone buzzed, and she fished it out of her pocket, heart racing as she saw the sender's name: Cane.
Cane. 🥷🏾🖤
Text me back whenever you want to see me again.😏
♡♥︎♡
Deja decided to stay home and told her family that she was spending time with Romeo which was a lie, it was better than the painful truth that her enemy blowing her back out and his dick was out of this world that she couldn't tell nobody. She couldn't go to the party because he could show up and get himself killed but to Cane, Deja's pussy was so good that he had to hit it again and risk it all.
Deja was startled by a sharp tapping on her window, causing her to flinch and quickly turn her gaze in that direction. There, standing outside with a smirk on his face was Cane, and Deja's heart skipped a beat at the sight of him. Without hesitation, she rushed over to the window and slid it open, allowing him to climb inside. "Cane?" he stepped into her medium-sized bedroom, Cane scanned the space with a curious eye.
"Is your family home?" Cane asked her, sliding the window back down behind him.
"No they're not home but what are you doing here?" She asked him, as if she didn't know the real reason.
"You know, I couldn't stay away," Cane replied, his voice low and seductive. "I need you, Deja."
Deja knew she should push him away, but she couldn't resist. "I need you too.." She wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a passionate kiss. They fell onto her bed, and Cane began exploring her body with his hands.
♡♥︎♡
Deja laid flat on the light green sheets with her delicate hands clutching the sheets beside her head. Her back arched high in the air, her stomach pressed against the soft fabric while Cane's hands held onto her wide hips. He gave her fast, rough thrusts from behind, his eyes fixed intently on her backside while it clapped against him. "Oh fuckk! Cane!" her eyes rolled back while he penetrated her pussy deeper and deeper. She felt every inch of him pulsate in between her wet walls while he passionately kissed up her arch, giving her complete pleasure. How could this be wrong when he feels so right?
She knew that she was cheating on her boyfriend and going behind her family's back but the pleasure that Cane was giving her was just too good to pass up. She could feel her body tensing up as she approached her climax, and Cane knew it too. He reached around and his thumb started to rub her clit, "I-i'm cumming!" she came undone on his thick member, As she lay there, panting and trying to catch her breath.
Cane quickly flipped Deja on her back with him slipped back into her eliciting a girlish moan from his lover while he resumed roughly ramming into her, "Oh fuckk, I love this dick.." Deja blurted in between his jagged thrusts, her fingernails digging deeper into his shoulder blades while he latched his hands around the sides of her neck, "Does he fuck you like this?" he gruffly groaned, throwing his head back from the immense pleasure, "Say it.." he spat, he roughly smacked her thigh, feeling her wetten his dick up even more causing him to darkly chuckle.
Deja's mind was a blur of pleasure while Cane resumed ramming into her. All she could see was stars when he hit that spot. She dug her heels of her feet into his back, "No, he doesn't!" she cried out, her voice rising with each thrust. Cane groaned raspily, "Say you're mine.." his fingernails digging into her thighs, seeing the pigment turn red. He plunged himself into her again and again. "I'm yoursss.." She slurred out, throwing her back into the pillow as she was consumed by the overwhelming pleasure.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her. Cane's breath was in her ear, "I'm yours too..." he groaned from seeing how wet his dick was getting every time he went in and out of her, making it glisten underneath the dim light, "Damn baby.." he moaned, his slim gyrated into her wetness at a slow pace,
Deja's orgasm crashed over her like a tidal wave, leaving her gasping for air. "I-cumming!" she announced, her body trembling underneath him. She came undone on his dick, Cane swiftly pulled out of her, he came on her stomach. He collapsed on top of her, his chest heaving Deja wrapped her arms around him, holding him close as they both tried to catch their breath. She knew that what they were doing was wrong, but she didn't care. All she wanted was more of Cane's deliciously forbidden touch.
Rewritten Scars- Ch. 2
This took all day for me to finish and post 😭I’m still so unsure about it so let me know how yall feel. As always enjoy!!:)
My Masterlist
Chapter Two: Fractured Foundations
The elevator doors slid shut behind you, sealing off the opulence of Styles Enterprises. You clutched the strap of your bag so hard your knuckles ached, trying to steady the rush of emotions clawing their way to the surface. Pride, unease, and something darker—a smoldering anger that had lain dormant for years.
Harry fucking Styles. The name alone churned your stomach. You thought you’d buried the pain he caused, but seeing him again had cracked open the wounds you’d spent years stitching together.
The city streets were loud and chaotic as usual, but you barely registered the noise. Your thoughts were elsewhere, back in high school hallways that reeked of stale sweat and teenage cruelty.
“Move it, piggy.”
Harry’s voice had been loud, cutting through the chatter like a blade. You froze in the crowded hallway, clutching your books to your chest, wishing the floor would swallow you whole.
You turned to see him leaning against his locker, flanked by his group of equally smug friends. His piercing green eyes sparkled with amusement, the dimpled grin on his face belying the venom in his words.
“Did you hear me, Y/N?” he continued, louder this time. “Oh wait, maybe you couldn’t over all the wheezing. That gym class really kicked your ass, huh?”
Laughter erupted around you. Your face burned as you tried to push past them, but Harry stepped in your way, blocking your path with his lanky frame.
“Where are you going?” he asked, feigning concern. “You mad? Don’t cry now. We’re just having a laugh.”
The sting of humiliation was unbearable. You bit your lip to stop it from trembling, refusing to give him the satisfaction of seeing you cry.
“Fuck off, Harry,” you muttered, your voice barely audible.
“What was that?” he said, leaning closer. “Speak up, piggy.”
“Fuck. Off.” This time, your voice was louder, trembling with fury and embarrassment.
For a moment, his smirk faltered, replaced by something harder, meaner. But then it was back, even wider than before.
“Relax,” he said, stepping aside with a mock bow. “Don’t trip over your own feet on the way out.”
You shoved past him, the sound of their laughter following you down the hallway.
The memory hit you like a freight train, stopping you in your tracks on the sidewalk. Your breathing was shallow, your chest tight. It had been years, but the sting of his words and the weight of his ridicule felt as fresh as if it had happened yesterday.
And now, that same boy—the one who made you feel like you were nothing—was sitting in a corner office, wearing a tailored suit and acting like he didn’t have blood on his hands.
Fuck him, you thought, your jaw clenching. Fuck him and the fancy office he rode in on.
The next day, an email arrived in your inbox.
Subject: Job Offer – Marketing Position
You stared at the screen, your chest tight. The offer was incredible—better than you’d dreamed. But the idea of working under him made your stomach churn. Still, you weren’t the same girl he used to tear down. You were stronger now, tougher. And if life had thrown him back in your path, maybe it was for a reason.
You hit “Reply” before you could second-guess yourself.
Subject: Acceptance of Job Offer
“Thank you for this opportunity. I accept the position and look forward to contributing to the success of Styles Enterprises.”
You leaned back in your chair, staring at the screen. This wasn’t just about a job anymore. This was about proving to yourself—and to him—that you weren’t that scared, humiliated teenager anymore.
Your first day at Styles Enterprises started smoothly enough. The HR team was efficient, your new colleagues seemed friendly, and the office itself was breathtaking. But no amount of modern architecture or designer furniture could distract you from the heavy knot of anticipation in your stomach.
By midday, the inevitable happened.
“Y/N,” a voice called behind you.
You turned to see Harry Styles standing a few feet away, his hands in his pockets and a guarded expression on his face. His green eyes flickered with something unreadable—nervousness, maybe.
“Mr. Styles,” you said flatly.
“Can I have a word?” he asked, gesturing toward a nearby conference room.
You hesitated but nodded. “Sure.”
The room was small, with glass walls that offered a partial view of the bustling office. Harry closed the door behind you, leaning against the table with his arms crossed.
“Look,” he began, his voice low. “I know we didn’t exactly… get along back in the day.”
You let out a short, humorless laugh. “That’s a fucking understatement.”
He winced at your words, his jaw tightening. “I was an asshole,” he admitted. “A complete dick. And I know an apology doesn’t erase what I did, but I am sorry, Y/N. I was a stupid kid, and I didn’t realize how much damage I was doing.”
His words hung in the air, and for a moment, you weren’t sure how to respond. Part of you wanted to accept the apology, to believe that people could change. But another part of you, the part still carrying the scars of his cruelty, wasn’t ready to let him off the hook.
“An apology doesn’t fix shit,” you said, your voice cold. “You don’t just get to say sorry and expect everything to be fine.”
“I know,” he said quietly. “I don’t expect that. I just… I don’t want you to feel uncomfortable here. If you ever need anything—”
“I won’t,” you cut him off. “I’m here to work, Harry. Not to revisit the past.”
His shoulders sagged slightly, and for the first time, he looked genuinely ashamed. “Understood,” he said.
You nodded, turning to leave the room. But before you opened the door, you paused.
“For what it’s worth,” you said without looking back, “I’ve changed too. I’m not the girl you used to push around.”
“I know,” he said softly. “I can see that.”
You didn’t respond, walking out of the room with your head held high. You’d faced him once again, and this time, you were the one in control.
But as you sat back at your desk, your heart still pounding, one thought lingered in the back of your mind: This is far from over.
It was a typical night in the city--the nasty, dirty, smelly city that was crawling with vermin once the lights went out.
But during October, it was different. Especially because of Halloween. Children frolicking in the streets, asking for goodies and playing games... well, people of all ages, really.
They needed someone to look out for them.
And that's what they did. That's what he did.
Venom. The one many consider to be a "bad guy". It's not his fault he needed to eat people's brains to survive. And besides, he promised Eddie he'd only eat "bad guys".
Which is what he did. A you g family with their two innocent little children were on their way back from a candy carnival when they were jumped by three men with masks and blunt weapons.
They weren't expecting Venom to be prowling the streets tonight--to be right above their filthy, filthy heads. They certainly didn't expect to have their heads bitten off, either. (Venom of course ensured the children didn't see anything of course, neither he nor Eddie would ever traumatize such tiny people!).
The police showed up not long after, but before that, one of the children rushed up to Venom and placed in his massive hand a little plastic baggy full of chocolates!
Venom patted the little boy--dressed like some green video game character--and left before the police barley rounded the corner.
"Tonight was amazing!" Venom growled as he popped another piece of chocolate into his maw. "Ate some bad guys and got some chocolate!"
'Yeah,good job, Vee.' Eddie chuckled softly from within.
He practically skipped from rooftop to rooftop across the city, humming and singing to himself as he did.
However, something gave him a pause.
Atop some sort of warehouse building was a figure dressed in all black. His first instinct was maybe it was some idiot trying to be some kinda super villain. They were all over the place, these days.
However that changed as he silently crept closer. He strained he and Eddie's combined senses to the highest level to examine the person.
You.
You were crying. Your long, wispy black hair blew in the breeze from the dank city. Your face was an almost ghostly white with thick black streaks cutting through like tar on snow. Your dark lips trembled, your snakebite piercings (At least that's what Eddie said they were) poking through the delicate skin, shining off of the dim city lights.
Your eyes were shrouded in thick, heavy eyeliner and eyeshadow, your wispy lashes brushing your cheeks as fresh tears fell.
Your feet teetered on the edge as you looked down, your hands grasping one another as if having second thoughts.
"Oh, shit!" Venom cursed to himself.
You were going to jump.
He thought quickly, rushing and leaping onto the rooftop with you. You either didn't notice or didn't care, your entire body shaking in the chilly air.
Your clothes had holes shredded into them in multiple places. Fishnets poked out from beneath your baggy pants, the chains tinkling as you shifted your weight around; an equally baggy shirt for some grunge band or another fluttered a bit as the breeze caught it.
Your nails were a nice, lacquered black, almost like his own inky body.
Apparently Venom and Eddie both blue-screened and their body merely acted on its own accord.
He plopped his butt down on the edge of the roof next to you, hanging his massive legs over the side.
"A little close to the edge, right?" Venom tried to say lightly. He could just barely make out the scent of blood on you, and he didn't like it. Neither did Eddie. They were both worried for you, and they didn't even know who you were.
"Wh-what do you care?" You asked, your voice trembling as you side-stepped by an inch, your eyes hesitantly dragging to the dirty street below.
"Just a little close, is all." Venom grumbled out with a shrug, kicking his feet a little.
"One wrong step and--" He made a descending whistle and then a "boom", gesture with his fingers. "Splat! Wind up decorating someone's car for Halloween in a real gross way."
Despite yourself, you huffed out a laugh, followed by a sniff, "Well it w-won't be a problem I have to worry about then, would it?"
Venom snorted, "True. But think about the poor guy that's gotta scrape the bits off the sidewalk! Traumatizing!"
You shook your head, swallowing deeply.
A tense silence falls between you as you continue to contemplate your fate--trying to make that one decision whether to end it all or back away like you have so many times before.
Venom broke the silence as subtly as a bulldozer trying to drive over a frozen lake.
"So. Why are you up here?"
"Because I want to die, wh-what does it look like?" You sniffled, trying to fight back the fresh sobs that tried to claw their way out of your chest.
"Well, yeah. That's obvious," He replied, tilting his head to the side to look at you. "But why?"
"I... I just..."
You weren't prepared for that. Nobody just asked you things. Nobody cared. Nobody just asks someone why they want to die. Right?
Your shoulders slump as you collapse into a squat, burying your face in your arms as you cried.
"I'm so tired... I can't take it all anymore."
"Can't take... what?" Venom pressed gently, his body relaxing slightly, hoping your new posture indicated you weren't just gonna swan dive over the rooftop.
"I... I try so hard, y'know?" You whispered, barely audible from how you had your face buried. "I try to take care of him, to help him get better, but... but he turns around and says it's all my fault. That it's all me. That he only does it because of me."
Venom looks at you, his fingers twitching. Ah. So that was it. He let you continue;
"I know he doesn't mean it. He just--he gets so angry when he drinks. Tonight I tried to h-hide the b-bottles and he... he just--"
Venom feels something nasty twist in his gut as you choke off into another crying fit.
"But he's my dad. If I don't s-stay... he's all alone. And he's gonna drink himself to death!"
"If he needs you, why are you up here?"
You snapped your head to look up at him, your makeup smeared down your face as your brows pinched.
"I mean, obviously your dad needs some serious help, but by your logic, he won't get it if you're not around..." He looked out into the city streets for a moment, "Don't understand it."
"I..." You swallowed, your mouth going dry. You sighed deeply, letting your body sag. "I don't know. I'm so tired. I'm sick of people treating me like shit just because of how I dress--I-I had an old lady hit me in the back of my head with her cane because she said I'm some kind of--of Satan worshipper!"
Venom growled lowly, making you jump a little as the sound vibrates off your bones, "Stupid." He spat.
"Y-yeah!" You say, letting your feet dangle over the edge, like his.
"It... It's just that I like being like this! But nobody has ever understood it!" You say, exasperated. "They just... They just..."
You couldn't find the words to continue, and was shocked when Venom held out his hand, offering tiny wrapped pieces of... candy. Chocolate?
"My other half says chocolate is good when you are sad. It makes your brain feel better." He said rather plainly. He could have gone into details of the effects it had on the human brain, but you didn't seem like you were in the mental state to have a scientific conversation right now.
Your shaky fingers take the morsel, unwrapping it before popping it into your mouth.
"So people treat you bad because you like to dress in all black?" He scoffed.
"People always equate goths to bad things in general." You replied sadly, your eyes downcast around the chocolate as it coated your tongue, "I'm not even really into the subculture itself, I just... sometimes the fashion is pretty and the makeup is crazy intense y'know?"
Venom grinned, happy that you've stopped crying, offering you another piece of his previous chocolate loot and letting you vent to him.
"What's wrong with dressing in all black?" Venom said, puffing up his chest a little dramatically, even striking a bit of a pose, "I think the look goes quite well with everything."
The sound of your laugh made him relax a little bit more, the tenseness in the air fading as he shared his snacks. He listened to you talk about the kinds of clothes you liked, makeup, music, how you DIY'd some of your own fashion yourself; and most of all, how people treated you because of it.
But the only person to really accept that was your dad. He just had his own problems, and didn't have the strength to drag himself out of the pit he was drowning himself in after he got laid off from the job he'd had since you were a baby. Since before your mom...
Little by little, your exterior chipped away and the sight of the real person you were came bubbling to the surface. Despite your dark aesthetic, you were a very bubbly and sweet person. Perhaps caring a bit too much about others rather than focusing on yourself, yes, but it showed how big your heart really was.
Eventually, the candy ran out. And you apologized. And before you knew it, it was well past midnight.
You don't want to jump anymore.
"Do you want some help?" Venom asked.
You nodded, whispering; "Please."
He took one of your tiny hands into his, as if you were made of the most delicate porcelain and lifted--pulling you onto the rooftop with him.
You rubbed your elbow, feeling guilty for everything, despite what was going on that wasn't your fault.
Venom could tell you were still feeling upset... and he didn't like he could still smell blood on you.
"... you're hurt." He finally pointed out, noticing how you flinched.
"It--it's not that bad." You muttered, your heart pounding as Venom crossed his arms and stared you down. Not in a malicious way, but in a way that said "I'm not falling for your bullshit".
And, of course, you break. You tell him about how sometimes, when the pain gets so bad, you... hurt yourself. You take a razor, or a knife or a pair of scissors and just... cut. The injuries are always to your legs so nobody can see, so they are easily covered by pants, but... obviously Venom could smell they were there.
"How about this." He held up a finger, "Meet us here again tomorrow night. My better half will get us more chocolate--"
His head snapped to the side and he growled, "You promised!"
Venom turned back to you after apparently having an argument with... himself, and said, "--and then we can sit down and talk some more. It can be our little chocolate spot any time you get the feeling like you want to hurt yourself. We can give you our number!"
"But..."
"No buts!" He said, wagging his large finger at you in reprimand.
You can't help the laugh that slips out of you, wiping at your face, uncaring if any more of your makeup got ruined. Despite yourself, you nod.
"Yessss!" Venom hisses, holding out his fist for a bump. "Chocolate friends!"
"Ch-Chocolate friends." You hiccup, giving him the bump.
You never came back to that rooftop with the intention of throwing yourself off of it, after that. It only became associated with your new and unlikely friend, the sweet treats you shared, and the knowledge that out there--there was somebody even weirder that you who was treated as much as an alien that you were.
And he/they had one hell of a sweet tooth.
