nearly blown out of my seat recently by seeing people on tumblr use spoonie language to defend car-centric infrastructure and attack advocates of public transit and walkable cities
#to be fair some of it seemed to just be contrarianism and needing to posture as more Nuanced than Walkable City Advocates#(who for some reason are always assumed to be able-bodied -- apparently there's no reason for any disabled person#to want public transportation! also every disabled person can actually Drive I fucking guess)#(could public transit be improved and made more accessible? apparently no we just need more cars forever. christ)#ableism /
