My younger brother : *aloof, denying that he'll get homesick and miss us when he goes off to college*
Also my younger brother: *now noticeably ends all his calls to us with "I love you"*
#the kid has encountered the inevitable homesick that comes from going off on your own for the first time#it happens to the best of us#not a bad thing at all#this is the same kid who would sit in my room or doorway doing his homework whenever i came home for a weekend from college#i would have a shadow all weekend#homesickness#college#stuff#growing up#to be fair im much further from home now for my masters and the homesickness just hasnt hit as hard for me#because ive been doing this for longer#my post
