what really gets me is that like. i'm not really into the Wild West kind of genre. and i'm not really into sci-fi. ive never been that into either. but here we are at the intersection of each with trigun, and somehow i am Captivated

#speculation nation #to be fair i'm personally Obsessed with the trope of the nonhuman character trying to appear human (but not really being able to #because of The Eccentricities)#and also the idea of some rando being so much more than they seem. socially speaking or Intrinsically like with vash #adding in the dichotomy between him and knives. the way they mirror one another #i always do love complicated sibling relationships in media lmao. still caring about one another but Everything goes wrong with it #i loved the little peeks into knives' motivations. how you can understand where he's coming from with it all #how as a kid he even shows shock and horror and mischief. he's a person too #but capable of so many Horrible things. he really does think of humans as pests.#and then there's vash. someone inherently healing by nature. who loves so hard it hurts him. constantly.#im rotating them in my brain. very fast. it's practically a centrifuge up in here
