End of term is an utter mess, so I've decided to post my so-far attempts at updating my Quackity design, since I won't be able to make anything new right now, it seems

I experimented a little with the hair, face shape, and scar, and I'd say the two first pictures seem the closest to what I want, but do let me know what you think

I definitely like the updated scar shape much better - I tried to make it more realistic and lively, and I'd say I succeeded

Anyway enjoy, and I'll try to get chapter 2 of it's us that made this mess out next week (just gotta find the time to read through it all at once so that it's properly edited, but it's over 7k words and I really am short on time)

I've been sitting on this ask for such a long time wondering how to express my gratitude because your appreciation really cheered me up and made me tear up :') Aside from the eye diagnosis, it's been a very tumultuous 5 years.

I got a little emotional hearing my art described as a nostalgic hug. Even if I don't improve as much as I wish to improve, and even if I don't end up drawing things exactly as expected, it warms my heart so much to know that you still find meaning in these drawings and that they bring you a sense of comfort. That kind of feeling is so scarce and precious and I feel so blessed to know my art has that spot in your heart.

Even responding to this was a little difficult because ever since I got diagnosed with APMPPE and my vision got much worse, I've embarrassingly enough cried so much over whether or not I can draw things the same way or if I can even give my commissioners a 100% accurate image (and worrying if I'll be able to make something look the way it's supposed to because I now have double vision in one eye and can't see lines straight anymore). I managed my partial color-blindness because it was very faint and only affected my usage of greens and yellows (this is why I don't often use greens and yellows), but this has been an all-encompassing issue that no glasses or surgery can fix, and I'd be a liar if I said it's been easy to manage.

Thank you so much for still checking in and still finding something worth looking at in my art! It means so much to me that you remember it and can even spot it on-sight. In the end, skill and themes aside, I really really love art, and if that's what comes across with my drawings despite its defects, then that's all I can ask for.

To everyone else who's also been here for ages (or even if you just found me but found something meaningful in my work), thank you so so so much!! I want to keep making art with meaning, and I hope even one of my works sticks with you as significantly as a nostalgic hug ::

Would he mess with the mechanisms if he found them? At this point in his life and his current knowledge, how would he interact with such technology? If it's going to become story-relevant, you don't have to spoil, but I am curious about this nerd.

SO. i've always thought that gale's got the brain of a STEM worker while having next to zero resources or outlets to cultivate that type of analytical and logistical thinking outside of his snares and traps. like he was 100% the type of kid to take shit apart before putting it back together again just to figure out how it works. so he's mostly looking for the mechanisms of the capitol's technology because he may not know the ins and outs of it quite yet, but the most useful part in the arena is figuring out how to break it without completely destroying it. is it the most effective or safe way to learn? no, but at this point it's more of him just trying to take advantage of his shitty circumstances by 1. Breaking shit and 2. Learning things the Capitol doesn't want him to know about.

this is my long winded way of saying Yes he would absolutely mess with the mechanisms if he found them, mostly by trial and error trying to find the quickest way to disable it with minimal interference. he knows that he doesn't have enough practical knowledge to fully rewire shit like the district 3 kid did with the landmines, but he figures that it would be helpful to know how to disable it more than anything else

not to be nosy (or pushy ><) but do you have any thoughts about rut for tnt? like for both the main trio and general world building im sure it would be a lot of logistics and potentially a lot of emotional labor to plot out (like one of them getting kicked out or something because the other is going nuts oof) but also its rotting my brain from the inside out and i need to tell someone else about it x_x

like for yunho, who is typically warm and affable, is now pushed to the edge when faced with the reality of his near insurmountable want. like he has such a finely controlled and cool grip on himself but its so obvious that hes like hungry for it in the force behind his grip. just imagining him like being an ever-present pillar behind mc, firmly talking her through what hes going to do as he chases after whatever his brain comes up with, that she can and will take his pace and whatever he gives because shes just the best and he just loves her so much because hes a romantic like that. yeah hehe haha hoo hoo lol maybe even an lmao im also tipsy and slamming my head into a wall over him have a good night

as far as yunho and mingi in a rut................ click below the cut for a few thoughts....

the lovely part about being in a pack, especially later on when they're actually bonded..... is that ruts wouldn't necessarily send the non-rutting alpha out of the house. with that being the case..... these are some of my rut headcanons for the boys.

Just discovered you, and your Slow Damage fanarts are giving me life 😭 Usually I don't like it when artists stray that far from the canon with character designs, but in this case it all fits perfectly. Now i can't decide whether I ship the entire main trio with each other, want them as a dad with two sons, or as a dad, mom-dad and a child (pet leach??? 🤣). And the way you draw Taku's body, omg. He is nowhere near that ripped in the game, but I am NOT complaining.

+ extra points for drawing pre-game Taku and Madarame, a rare sight.

Oh TYSM! Actually, Taku beefs up in the true takutowa ending! The drama-cd has rei mention how ripped taku's gotten over time, and Towa takes full advantage of it by making Taku carry him around everywhere (it's adorable, it's also why I draw Towa getting carried by him so much).

yes! i have two more chapters planned that may end up breaking into three just based on pacing but we shall see!

in addition to that i have some one-shots planned for them in the universe, things i want to write or scenes i want to write that just don’t neatly fit into the larger arc of the story. (mostly smut lmao) one of these i actually have almost fully finished, it just makes no sense to release early bc it would spoil the end of tnt 😊
