here's a reference for TMV leo!!! x)) i love how this turned out, i'm so excited to do the rest of these guys! silly billies. also, the "fearless leader leonardo!" text is in his handwriting. too bad we didn't see many characters' handwritings in the show, so i made my own for most of the squad.

i'm kinda socially paranoid/awkward sometimes; if i don't respond it's not personal! i don't judge /gen - i might've just forgotten or gotten shy x')

i often repeat myself and edit wording for accuracy, if my posts suddenly vanish or look different, that's why

some of my art shows self-harm scars and small amounts of blood!!! i don't draw heavy gore, but just a heads up.

i do NOT do commissions, i won't reply to comments asking especially if they're from totally empty accounts... y'know, so many scams going around.

DNI: general criteria, tcest, proship (i mean people who romanticize abuse, pedophilia, incest, etc.)

i'm not against ye ole "toxic yuri/yaoi" trope at all, nor am i against obsessive/yandere tropes! they're fun, i just don't want to talk to people who romanticize heavy abuse irl.

also i'm the type to scroll, find a random ship and casually go "aww cute!" if i ever endorse a ship that's problematic, PLEASE TELL ME. if it's not glaringly obvious it's problematic (like incest, giant age gap etc), chances are i'm not aware yet. thanks!

lastly, as i tend to overthink DNI criteria (often bc of my own intrusive thoughts); if you're reading this and you're paranoid like i am (LMAO) - if we've had many positive interactions it's safe to assume you're not in my criteria! 👍🏼

Status: Planned as a Fanfiction on AO3.

A TMNT 2012 AU where the Hamato boys are Kraang-human hybrids, living underground with their rat papa Splinter. They put their lifelong training to use by serving justice in the New York streets, while avoiding the attention of cops and the Kraang, who are searching for their runaway test subjects to this day...

Will the brothers have to spend the rest of their lives in shadows, or could a normal life be possible?

content warnings: violence/blood (not too gory), self-harm, mental health problems

other things:

overall light-hearted series, happy ending. splinter lives lol!!!

plot is more casual than the canon 2012 series; no interdimensional/time travel, will also try to take more time for character relationships/growth

donnie-april-casey triangle happens, but jonatello is the final pairing

more smaller AUs may be added in the future (i wanna make a 2012 x rise band/boygroup au hehe), but for now, this is my main AU!

i lowkey wanna stop plastering that ugly watermark texture i made over all my art bc i dont want it all over my comic strips but i'm super scared of ai snatching my stuff (i hate ai i hate ai i hate ai)... might not use the texture for the TMV pages, tbh
