I'm going through the document @remmushound and I have been transferring our RP to, and I found a really sweet scene between Rise Donatello and Bayverse Donnie. Rise Donatello has constructed a brand new body for Shelldon and is proudly showing Bay Donnie. In this context, the Shredder's attack on the lair resulted in Oroku Saki and Karai both being brought into the physical lair after Bay Mikey did an astral plane energy thing.

Donnie was attentive as ever, but really all he could do was coo and trill happily, and with each listed benefit he looked it over carefully.

“What do you think?” Donatello asked, hands clasped as he gave a nervous whine.

Donnie took one last thorough look, then sat back on his heels. "I'm in awe. This is incredibly advanced robotics. You're amazing, Don."

Donatello looked almost ready to cry, bouncing with the praise before he was able to contain himself and try to play it cool.

“Yeh, I knew I was good. Totally didn’t need affirmation or whatever. Psshh.”

"Awww. C'mere." Donnie held out an arm.

Donatello immediately dropped the facade and did a trust-fall into Donnie’s arm.

Donnie brought him close to his body and squished him. "Yeah you did. You deserve affirmation. You always have."

Donatello squinted his eyes closed and practically melted into the hold. “I was starting to think it was stupid…”

"No!" Genuine shock colored Donnie's mournful tone. "What? No! Never!"

“I’m not usually… really good with robotics. Sheldon’s the only thing I’ve made that hasn’t constantly fallen apart.”

"Really? I wouldn't have thought that at all."

“Well it's true. I couldn’t even fix a performance robot without messing it up." Donatello frowned.

"Heck, my drone isn't perfect, either," Donnie admitted. "Shelldon is a marvel of engineering."

“I mean— when he started out, he was just a head. Then he turned out… you know, sapient, and I felt bad for not giving him more.” More frowning.

Donnie stared at Donatello with glittering eyes. "Donnie... that's extraordinary. Do you realize that?"

“What?” Donatello looked back up at him finally.

Donnie engulfed the smaller turtle, murmuring, "You're extraordinary. I'm going to keep telling you that."

“Good, cause I love hearing it.”

Donnie pulled back to gaze at him. "Good. I need to hear you say that."

“That.” Donatello echoed. “There, it is said.”

Donnie grinned, then laughed. "Fantastic.

“Yes! Yes I am!”

"Yes you are!"

“Yeee!” Donatello gave a happy wiggle. “I still wanna do some final touches and double check the wires before I show it to Shelldon though.”

"I'd love to help!"

“Yaaay!" Donatello cackled "The first phase of world Don-Mination!”

"Say that around my Raph, he'll take it seriously. Mikey and I joke about it enough."

“Wanna try and convince him it’s real?”

"Hmmm." Donnie slowly tapped his chin. "Yes. I'm just immediately going through potential funniest scenarios."

“We’ll share with the class, don’t be stingy!”

Donnie rattled off ideas on all his fingers. "...although, no zombies, he hates that."

“Darn. What about skeletons? Do those count as zombies?”

"Hmmno. Because they're bones. No flesh to fall off."

“Great. I love loopholes!” Donatello spun a few times and then fell backward onto his bed.

Reminiscing on the old years of tumblr especially in this fandom. I’ll admit, the rose coloured glasses have definitely tinted my vision but for some reason all I can really remember were the fun times here. Especially now seeing your blog and it makes me so nostalgic, remembering both the good and bad but the community was amazing. I never thought it would die but life moves on and people come and go. Your blog feels like visiting an old familiar building, the years have grown and with that so have people. But I won’t forget the safety I had felt when I was going through a rough time all those years ago and there you were, holding me strong with yourself and the turtles and I could never repay you for that. When all I felt was judgement and pain from those around me irl and there you were, helping me forget in the world of tmnt where the bad things couldn’t reach us. And we were safe. I was safe

It feels like a lifetime between the time I was last on here and now, everything has changed but nothing really did.

But hey I do miss you, I don’t know if you’ll get this but I just want to thank you for being the most kindest and gentle friend I could have ever had. You were gracious and patient with me even when I probably didn’t deserve it. You were loving and kind and there were incidents but you never let it drag you under. I hope your dog salon is going well, I hope you find your place in this life. I hope everything is going well for you, I really do hope you find all that you want and more.

Ohhh I wish this wasn’t anonymous! I would thank you a million times for this ask. Truly. This has warmed my heart this morning and such a wonderful message to wake up to. Alas… I fear the community has all but dissipated. There’s only a handful of Bayverse creators left. I think what possibly happened is the amount of drama and bullying that went on turned people away from Tumblr all together. I can’t tell you how many friends I have that have just deleted the entire app and their accounts. Slowly everyone just began to grow out of the Bayverse world. I also believe that there’s only so much creativity out there. We’ve exhausted every scenario the boys could possibly be in. It’s quite difficult to come up with fresh material these days. You know, the “it’s already been done” factor. I stay here because as long as there’s one of us, it never truly dies and I will never delete my account. I’ve done that twice before and it’s been nothing but a regret since. So I keep this one so if anything people can come back and read their favorite stories. Oh what fun we had! And remember RP’s?! Those are all but gone now but oh my gosh they were so fun and exciting. I definitely miss how the community used to be but that time has moved on. Thank you so much for your words of kindness my friend. This has touched my heart and I thank and love for this. Thank you so much once again!

He kidnaps most of the group and psychologically torments everyone in Kendra's mansion. Epic super villain. Sunglasses and everything. Poor Rise Donnie.

I got tagged to write a scene from a WIP. I chose something from the RP turned fic I've been working on with @remmushound but I haven't heard from her in a while. I have been reading through the shared document.

The premise is the Rise Turtles meeting the Bay Turtles. Bay Mikey gains psionic powers, Rise Mikey reveals similar mystic powers, Rise Raph and Bay Leo accidentally piss each other off at first, Rise Donnie is everyone's beloved feral kitten, every character is AuDHD and queer, probably all on the ace spectrum.

The Mikeys have visions of their counterparts. Even Ronin. Also epilepsy.

Full name: Rise. Short name: Bayverse.

Raphael nodded slowly. “I understand fear... I... almost really hurt my brothers a few times before.”

"That wasn't your fault, though, you didn't mean any of it," Mikey said quietly.

“I know... but I still did it. I could really hurt someone...”

Donnie bent to look directly at Raphael’s face. "Could being the operative word. We are all trained to kill, Raphael. Flip the right switch, and..." He snapped his fingers. "We were meant to become warriors. It was chance that made us kind. And for some of us... it can get difficult to compartmentalize between warrior and protector, between fury and softness, when our triggers are directly hit."

Raphael nodded slowly, pulling his head back so his face wasn’t so close to Donnie’s.

“I know... still terrifies me. My brain is so... frazzled from having so many episodes so close.”

Donnie looked back at Mikey, who blinked at him and then made a soft "oh" sound.

"That's something you and Mikey seem to have in common, something to talk about."

"That'd make you feel better, right?" Mikey piped.

Raphael nodded. “I like talking!”

Mikey looked at him, blue eyes darkening. "I...I can feel it. You do feel a little better."

Donnie glanced at him. "Were you unable to?"

"Not with all the...the fog and static." Mikey rubbed his forehead.

Raphael got comfortable on the bed. “I don’t usually get the fuzzy-thoughts after I get weird— only if it was really long or... or there were a lot of them.”

Mikey nodded, thinking.

"Sounds like a deep stress coping mechanism," Donnie said.

"Oh!" Mikey fumbled for his phone. "Didn't we download those psychology textbooks that talked about dissociative trauma? I can study that while you're out playing patrol leader!"

Donnie sighed and shook his head. "You've definitely matured. Or perhaps we just found a whole field of science that finally hits your interest."

"Well, duh! Despite what Leo said, I know I'm brains AND heart."

Donnie blinked back tears. "Exactly..."

Raphael listened happily to the conversation, looking between the two box turtles contentedly. He didn’t even realize his churr was sounding off, vibrating the bed and floor around the bed as he rumbled almost like an old, rusty swing set.

"Awww," Mikey grinned, rocking. "We're making Snapper Raph happy. My job is done!"

I have a Rise x 2012 where the turtles are combined in a universw where Humans are scared of them heres the plot for that one!

After everything the turtles had done for humanity, they were still scared of them. No matter what they saved or how they did it. All they wanted to do was help people! And they had. But they now were falling back into the shadows hiding and only supporting when necessary. They still kept up patrols. But will the people of new york accept them as heroes? Or will they continue to fear the turtles even after they saved them so many times? Only time can tell.

Hey there! 27F looking for some people +20 to roleplay with!

Quality> Quantity. I tend to mirror posts but I’m realistic, when it comes to some scenes posts tend to get shorter (like when we’re in a dialogue heavy one). I don’t need novella-length posts.

Doubling is a must. Also, I like to play both Canon and OCs, so I expect someone who also likes it.

Although I'm more interested in action, adventures and character developtment, I still love romance, so expect some in this RP. MxF (playing both genders) is my main kind of pair, although I’m open to MxM and FxF too. AGED UP IS A MUST, and although I'm open to human x mutant pairings I won't be asking for them on my side.

I like OOC chit chat, sharing all our memes, silly headcanons… I won’t pressure you for replies.

Now, the fandom I've never thought I would be searching for ngl:

Teenage mutant ninja turtles - TMNT - Mutant Mayhem = Bayverese > Rise: I finally watched the 2023 movie and I had a blast, which made me watch the Michael Bay movies out of curiosity and I liked them too. I have been watching Rise but I'm not comfortable enough to do a full search on them, as in, I'm still getting used to their characterizations. I still keep it on my ad because I'm open to it, but it's the one I have less ideas for. I’m open to something based around those movies, with a few changes here and there. Before, during or after, I don't care, but using the movies' universe as a base would be easier for me.

Although I believe my OCs are very adaptable when it comes to their love interests and I'm not picky about who to roleplay for my partner because I love all the brothers and I'm liking the idea , I believe that I'm leaning towards playing against a Donnie in the Bayverse universe and Mikey in the MM one. Again, not super picky but I know that listing this stuff helps a ton.
