It wasn't the civil war actually. It was the Battle of New Orleans. He seems to have been on the American side against the British.

Ok so like 2003 Bishop fought in the Civil War, what side did he fight for?

TMayNT Day 30: Favorite Human Villain

Day 30 of @tmaynt! As far as human villains go, it's hard to beat Bishop. 2012 Bishop may be an ally to the turtles, but 2003 Bishop is an outright cold, uncaring, and unkillable antagonist -- the kind of guy you just love to hate, which is peak villain in my opinion!

There is nothing funnier than writing the interactions Agent John Bishop would have with Big Mama. He would absolutely hate her. They are sitting together having a very polite tea because Bishop needs info from her but he’s seething the whole time. She calls him Johnny-boo and he is just straight faced trying to blow her up with his mind.

yk. bishop loves some inconvenient af but ✨pretty✨ outfit features so much and somehow still manages to fight on a completely other level than anyone in this show. a long coat is inconvenient in a fight. a tie is inconvenient in a fight (tho he did show a brilliant use for it in 'hun on the run'). SUNGLASSES ARE INCONVENIENT IN A FIGHT, ESPECIALLY IN A DARK LOCATION OR AT NIGHT (i can excuse ff featuring them because tech advancement and he may see perfectly through them but my man. why and how are you operating in your dim lighted epf bases never taking them off. did the alien experiments give you a perfect night vision or light sensitivity. is that why your eye whites are glowing through your glasses in 2003.) i wont even start on his ff dress. AND THE LONG PIECE OF CLOTH HE INTEGRATED INTO HIS FIGHTING SUIT AS WELL FOR LIKE. NO FUCKING REASON AT ALL OTHER THAN TO LOOK GOOD?? he is so committed to slaying it at all times and i respect that a lot but also HOW

Aliens! I don’t have very solid plans on aliens yet, but I will have aliens.

🐙 Yes, there are utroms (I like them). I think this iteration will also have an utrom named Krang. Krang will probably be closer to 1987/Chōjin Densetsu Hen than IDW or something.

🪐 Yes, and I might also include their relatives the styracodons and protoceratons from mirage.

🕴🕴️ Yes, he and the EPF have a big role in both their past and their present/future. The EPF and a former partner they had have experimented with mutations.
