#tldr: dont forget bots feelings in the writing

I- can’t speak on current issues in depth cause I’m abt to board a flight and I don’t wanna deal with it rn.

But writing wise, I want to remind people

That yes, cabby uses her files to remember information. Yes it is for sure iffy for bot to tell her wrong information.

But also remember, that bot hates being watered down to a few facts, or a specific label. That was their arc.

Two people can have disabilities that need different or opposing things, and just won’t mesh well with each other.

Also note that I am saying this all as someone w/ severe memory issues. And what helps me, personally, me as an individual, the most is a person who understands that I have those issues, and will tell me everything again and again.

I am not saying that everything written this ep was done in the right, but I assure you that the AE team aren’t rubbing their hands together going “how can we be ableist and hurt people today?” As they write these scripts.

I cannot speak on any additional ableism that AE has done in their content, I have not read up on it and do not feel like I know enough to speak on it.

If I had to guess anything, I’d assume Adam blocked Paper just, because- he doesn’t see how this is ableist entirely, and he doesn’t want to start anything, because Twitter has a tendency to make things black and white quickly. I’m guessing they’ll at best write their thoughts on this and apologize for past things, and at worst just, not say anything abt it.

If I had to guess the path Twitter is gonna go, it’s gonna be similar to the situation with AIB, where people will ask for it to be trigger tagged, and people are gonna be kinda divided on the situation.

I have no solid opinions on the current situation, I’ve been stuck in New York for 24 hours more than I wanted, so I really don’t have a lot of info abt what people are talking about. I am neither supporting AE nor denouncing them at this time.

I will be turning anon off cause I jsut can’t deal with people being rude rn, and anon tends to bring out the worst of people XwX
