#tldr: Gabi’s actions affect EVERYONE at the firm and she lied in everyone’s face

So is Margaret just gon be mad at Gabi forever? It’s like she’s forgotten that Sir actually held Gabby captive and is acting like Gabi just went out and grabbed that bitch for funsies! I liked the back-and-forth for a while but now it’s getting annoying like girl I thought you were a miss notice at and endless compassion like what all happened to that? 

Here’s why I can’t get mad at Margaret for being angry:

Gabi had everyone thinking Hugh was out in the wind. Lacy was terrified, and everytime Lacy came to Gabi with concerns, Gabi brushed it off as “Sir is gone. It’s fine.” Knowing good and goddamn well he was in her basement and NOT “gone.” She had multiple opportunities to either come clean or kill him, and she did neither until she was forced to do so bc Lacy’s life was being threatened. By the time she decided to come clean, he was already out and Lacy’s fears were confirmed, even though she trusted Gabi’s word.

She says she wasn’t in her right mind when she took him, and I understand that. I empathize with it. However, 9 months passed. And at some point, she realized she fucked up. She still lied in everyone’s face and put people in danger as a result, because she 1) for some reason thought she could handle it and 2) was afraid of the fallout.

Lastly, if your life’s work is about finding people who are missing/taken, being an abductor can ruin the reputation of M&A as a firm. Because anyone could easily point to Gabi and be like “Why should we hire you when you clearly think captivity is ok if the reasons are justified?”

I personally think that if she wasn’t going to go full crazy and beat that man to death in her basement, taking him and only sorta kinda being mean to him sometimes wasn’t worth the series of events occurring now.

ETA: We all saw how she was ready to throw hands with Dhan when Gabi was taken. And that was because she thought he was irresponsible. So I’m not surprised that she would also have severe negative feelings about Gabi after Lacy’s abduction.
