This was taken the day I pulled the frozen LS1 out of the junk yard and started the break down of the engine. I found out that number 5 cylinder had spun a bearing and ate into the crank, so pretty much the whole rotating assembly was shot. I handed it over to Bob Simpson and he has been working on it for the past few months. We are boring it out to a 383 and slapping a set of @gmperformance.us LS3 heads on top, along with the @holleyperformance mid rise intake and a @edelbrockusa 750 carb. I know a ton of people are pissed that I'm putting a carb on it, but I am old school, and I can tune a carb faster than a computer. . Currently getting the vehicles stickered up for next weekend's #ziptiedrags . I have to take out the rest of the counter top in the trailer so the Vet Kart has a place to be put to bed. @blue_sky_fabrication did some prep work on the frame yesterday, notching the frame on the B pillars and getting a spot ready for a mounting plate. They trimmed the front of the frame off and cleaned up a cross member bar that was cut out by the previous owners. I can't wait to see what today brings 🤘😎🤘!!!!! .
