[The tape rewinds.]
[We see Kris ordering a tirelock off amazon.]
[We see static.]
[We see Kris kneeling next to a cop car, with Susie grinning beside them. They work together to figure out the tirelock.]
[The tape is set forward.]
[Susie is climbing up to Kris’s window. After a few delicate knocks from Susie, Kris opens it halfway and peeks out beneath the frame. We see a red glow from further back in the room.]
SUSIE: * Hey, moron, are you alright??
KRIS: * Yeah yeah.
SUSIE: * You didn’t have to take the fall for it, I woulda--
KRIS: * [Shakes their head.]
SUSIE: * It ain’t that big of a deal. Everyone expects it from me anyway.
KRIS: * That’s the problem.
