Themed-day: Generation Force

It’s that time again: Time for another installment in the pack themed-day series, as today marks the 10-year (plus a day) anniversary of the debut pack of the Xyz Era: Generation Force. Here’s some of the highlights:

1)  The debut of the Wind-Up archetype, including the previously Limited Wind-Up Magician

2) A personal favorite card from the pack to use in Chronomaly: Ghost Ship

3) The briefly-seen Zexal Archetype: Crashbugs.

4) A staple card from early Rank 4 Xyz decks, descending from the skies: Goblindbergh

5) The main pack debut of the Numbers Xyz series, including Number 34: Terror-Byte

6) Various other Xyz Monsters, including Leviair the Sea Dragon, Steelswarm Roach, and the Keeper pair of Tiras, Keeper of Genesis and Adreus, Keeper of Armageddon

7) The initial arrival of Geargias with Geargiano

8) Some of Yuma’s most famous cards, including Gagaga Magician and Double or Nothing!

9) A whole host of WATER cards, including the Frog family cousin Sea Lancer and various cards used by one of my favorite characters in all of Yu-Gi-Oh! (I wonder why) Ryoga Kamishiro himself
