Tipua: the wrath of Ngārara...
...has just hours to go and is around $1000 NZ/$600 USD from its funding goal!
Support indigenous TTRPG design and get access to a cool spin on the Fate system in the process. The game and its setting are steeped in tikanga and te ao Māori: Tipua is set on the distant planet of Karito—a vast, labyrinthine world where tangled rivers wind through swampy wetlands, shadowy forests, ancient pā (fortification sites), and the mysterious portals known as Ngā Pūmotomoto. For those of you who have experienced the wonders of Aotearoa and Te Wai Pounamu, you will see some obvious similarities.
It's so affordable too. $20 NZ (about 12 USD) nabs you the digital rulebook and printable custom Fate tokens, as well as a social media shout out and access to the backers discord.
If nothing else: please have a read of the Kickstarter and share this post around! Not long to go and it would amazing if this awesome Māori-led team could reach their funding goal.

te ara is such a baffling website. i'll check the site to look into something since it does have a fairly vast amount of info kept on the one site only to scroll past twelve mistranslations and info that's been censored and recontextualised under european "culture" so heavily that it's genuinely a completely different story and then i'll stop scrolling and get jumpscared by the site saying that mozzie is a great term to call an australian māori and that we love being called ngāti skippy

After @toriblayde ‚s Andrei brings James to where the battle took place, and @xxstar-bluesxx ‚s Tipua fishes Vincent out from the bottom of the ocean, the husbands are finally reunited.
Both heavily mentally and physically scarred from the experience. Thin and weak but together at last.
Yet Vincent is further gone than they thought. He doesn‘t say a word, having lost his voice somewhere down in the inky sea

Matoran of Pazu Nui, part 2
Iho - A quiet and humble Ba-Matoran. She works as a courier, which means she rarely gets to actually visit his home while she treks Pazu Nui.
Tipua - A flighty and scatterbrained Ce-Matoran, who ostensibly helps curate the archives but she often get distracted reading documents instead of filing them.
Pohku - One of De-Koro’s most gifted drummers. His working memory for polyrhythms is incredible ... his working memory for nearly anything else is less than stellar.
Rewa - A boisterous and jovial engineer. Despite being from the noisy and work-oriented Fe-Koro, he loves to sing, and gets on very well with Pohku.
Tauho - A nervous and fearful Su-Matoran. He’s not brave enough to work in the explosives labs, so he finds work transporting chemical reagents between the labs.
Dihau - A mad genius inventor from Vo-Koro. She’s always convinced she’s on the verge of some great breakthrough, but is really only testing the limits of her own lightning resistance.

Whiro
Plným jménem Whiro-te-tipua. Ještěří bůh, který dle Maorů vládne podsvětí, zlu a zlem. Sídlí v jeskyni jménem Taiwhetuki. Živí se těly mrtvých, proto Maorové zesnulé raději spalovali. Taneho bratr by totiž jinak mohl nabrat tolik síly, aby vylezl na světlo světa a všechno na něm sežral.

Medieval AU!! Because why not? Here Cross is more of a hero not a villain, protecting the people of a mad corrupted prince, if I remember correctly. It‘s been a while.
I know we got @xxstar-bluesxx ‚s Tipua as the mad prince and Vincent as the Cross‘ who earns the princes trust before all goes to hell.
-
I just had my first longsword training lesson and it is SO much fun!!
It‘a not about a year later and I still don‘t have my own sword…
