It’s been available for preorder for months, but they’re being delivered and are now available in stores! The Tama Blog article reviews the key features of the TinyTAN Tamagotchi and informs readers that the purple TinyTAN Tamagotchi is now available at Walmart, which you already know from us.

Tamagotchi US TinyTAN Tamagotchi Contest

The TinyTAN Tamagotchi has just recently launched in North America, so what better than to celebrate with a contest? Bandai Namco US is hosting a contest on their official Instagram profile where you could win a TinyTAN Tamagotchi!

Thailand TinyTAN Pop-Up Store at Siam Center

If you’re a BTS and Tamagotchi fan in Thailand, you’ve got to check this out! There is a pop-up store that just opened at the Siam Center in Thailand, a modern complex for shopping and dining in Bangkok.

You’ll find the pop-up store at the Idea Avenue on the G floor and it’ll be running from October 18th through October 31st, 2022. Hours of operation are 10:00AM to 10:00PM daily. The pop-up store features beautiful convention-like display that feature BTS and TinyTAN graphics. The theme is pink and purple with streamers hanging from the ceiling as well as lanterns.

It’s set up almost like an art display at a museum. Each TinyTAN character appears to have its own Hug My Tamagotchi display that expresses their unique personality. You can walk through the pop-up store and see what the TinyTAN Tamagotchi is all about. As you can see from the pictures there are plenty of TinyTAN and TinyTAN Hug My Tamagotchi’s for sale!

Walmart Carries TinyTAN Tamagotchi In Store & Online!

Did you know that there is a brick and mortar retailer carrying the TinyTAN Tamagotchi? It appears that more retailers than just Amazon are getting the TinyTAN Tamagotchi love. JennaLynIris on Twitter recently found a TinyTAN Tamagotchi, in purple shell color, at their local Walmart in the United States!

Walmart also has the TinyTAN Tamagotchi in the purple shell available on their website for $19.97. If you’re interested in the TinyTAN Tamagotchi and don’t want to order online at Amazon, Walmart has you covered, but they do not appear to carry the red shell, and we’ll see if they decide to carry the Hug My Tamagotchi sets when they are released in late January 2023.

Bandai Japan Announces TinyTAN Tamagotchi

TinyTAN are animated characters based on BTS and created by Big Hit Entertainment. The original BTS Tamagotchi’s must have sold really well, because there’s another BTS Tamagotchi coming soon! Bandai Japan has just announced that the TinyTAN Tamagotchi will be released in Japan in September 2022!

The seven BTS members are in TinyTAN form on the TinyTAN Tamagotchi, and the BTS characters go back and forth between TINYTan and reality through the magic door. Upon booting of the Tamagotchi, you’ll take care of the magic door. The magic door can be cleaned and you will receive a knock, you will then receive your TinyTan character! The seven characters are RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook. However there is one secret TinyTAN character that you can unlock!

You’ll be able to feed your TinyTAN character their favorite meals and snacks, including steak, pork cutlet, hamburgers, egg tarts and more! We’re so excited about meal options, these are unique to the character. All characters will have the egg tart snack.

There are two mini games, one is called Dance! Dynamite, where your TinyTAN character can dance by following the button sequence displayed on the screen in the upper left-hand corner. The second mini game is egg tarting making where you’ll have to following the instructions on mixing and baking the ingredients. As you may know, BTS loves egg tarts!

You’ll see unique graphics throughout the day which include the waking up sequence where you’ll see the time (10:00AM) followed by your character waking up in their pajamas! At 2:00PM you might just see your TinyTAN character listening to music on their headphones. Then at 6:00PM you’ll see your TinyTAN character practicing their dance moves, and lastly at 9:00PM you’ll see them enter the sauna! There’s more graphics that you’ll see your TinyTAN character participate in throughout the day.

Just don’t neglect your TinyTAN character! If you spend less time together, you will get them stressed. The magic door might just show up and take back your TinyTAN character. So be sure to play everyday and have a good time!

There are two TinyTAN Tamagotchi shells you can purchase outside of the Hug My Tamagotchi set, the first one if the purple version which features a lighter purple outer ring and a dark purple inner ring around the screen with pink circles emulating LED lights you’d see at a concern. The buttons are a light blue color. The second shell is the red version which features a nice red shell, some musical notes and a black inner ring around the screen that looks very city esc. Both shells actually remind us a lot of the Tamagotchi Music Star from 2008.

TinyTAN Tamagotchi is also getting its own set of Hug My Tamagotchi! These are soft vinyl figurines that hold your Tamagotchi! These figurines are of course the seven BTS members. For the first time ever, there is a black TinyTAN Tamagotchi shel that is exclusive to the Hug My Tamagotchi set!

Preorders are now amiable on Premium Bandai Japan for ¥2530 with tax included, and the official launch is set for September 17th, 2022 in Japan!

Bandai America Announces TinyTAN Tamagotchi is Coming to United States & Canada!

Looks like the United States & Canada are getting the TinyTAN Tamagotchi too! Just announced a few days ago originally by Bandai Japan, the TinyTAN Tamagotchi is based off the BTS characters. The BTS Tamagotchi must have really sold well for Bandai America to bring another BTS Tamagotchi over from Japan! You can learn all about the TinyTAN Tamagotchi here.

No word on if the United States & Canada will receive the Hug my Tamagotchi figurines and exclusive black shell, but based on the past, it’s unlikely. Both the purple and red shells should be available later this year, no official release date yet, or retailer, but we would assume it would most likely be around $19.99 and exclusive to Amazon like the original BTS Tamagotchi.
