Die Besonderheit dieses Werkes; es ist Teil eines Triptychons. Das Dreier Konvolut ist in einem Werk zusammengefasst, ist aber auch als Einzelstück verfügbar.

Hierbei handelt es sich um den dritten und letzten Teil (Kykladen Nr.3) des Triptychons.

In der Ausführung besticht das Triptychon durch die starken plastischen Erhebungen der kupferfarbenen Applikationen (mixedmedia), die dem Werk eine außergewöhnliche Struktur und Haptik verleihen.

Die bicolore Darstellung unter Verwendung von Kupfer, korrespondiert im kontrastreichen Gegensatz mit dem grauen Untergrund, der seinerseits mit Acrylfarbe und Marmorstaub verarbeitet und aufgetragen wurde.

Die Intention der Umsetzung ist der griechischen Insellandschaft der Kykladen entlehnt. Die Abbildung weist allerdings keinerlei topgraphische oder geographische Identität auf. Sie lebt von der eigenen Imagination.
