British Vogue: “It’s insane, right?” Timothee Chalamet told British Vogue of his candy-inspired Wonka necklace by Cartier, which was fitted precisely to the contours of his throat in order to allow all 964 of its emeralds, rubellites, pink tourmalines and blue opals to shine. “It’s beyond anything I could have dreamt.” At the link in bio, Chalamet speaks to Vogue about the fantastical accessory.

It will be interesting to see what outfit will be chosen for Chalamet’s figure, as if it wasn’t enough to be Hollywood royalty, the actor has also been trailblazing the fashion world. With an impeccable sense of style, GQ has named him the ‘best-dressed man in the world’, earned the role of co-chair at the 2021 Met Gala, and made history as the first solo male cover in British Vogue’s history in 2022, the team at Madame Tussauds will have ample choice for outfits.
Jo Kinsey, Studio Manager at Madame Tussauds London, said: “Timothee Chalamet is the new type of Hollywood leading man and we’re working closely with him on every detail of his upcoming figure. A firm fan favourite, he shines as brightly on screen as he does on the front cover of Vogue or GQ, never compromising who he is or what he stands for, captivating not only hearts but minds too.

Interview Styles
When looking through magazines there are two main ways in which interviews seemed to be presented, the first being quotes embedded into quite conversational paragraphs which can be found in magazines such as Rolling stone and Vogue and the second being question and answer style.
With my magazine I'm aiming to create a picture of the culture, lifestyle and fashion within the city that each issue focuses on. By interviewing real people who live in these cities I think I will be able to capture the essence of these places most accurately. I feel as though creating this atmosphere will be largely dependent on the photographs and imagery within the magazine however the interviews with the people of the city are what will encapsulate the spirit of the city. I plan to carry out question and answer style interviews as I want ask each of my interviewees the same questions so that readers can compare a range of answers to get a grasp of the types of people in that city. I think that by the end of the magazine this will build an image for the reader of what life is like in that city for a range of different people and hopefully allow them to find someone who they might be able to relate to.
Two magazines I looked at that often carry out interviews of this style were I-D and Interview magazine.
I-D Magazine
When researching which magazines carried out interviews in the style that I planned on using, I remembered an interview I had seen a few years ago in I-D of Harry styles interviewing Timothee Chalamet. I remembered this interview being very casual and simple, it was merely a conversation between the two where Styles would ask a question and Chalamet would answer and they'd have a bit of a discussion about the answer or it would lead to a follow up question. Although this sounds similar to that of the 'conversational embedded quote' style interviews I mentioned are found in magazines such as Rolling stone the way this interview was presented is what made it different. Instead of being a paragraph written from the point of view of the interviewer this interview simply had Styles first name initial with a colon, H:, followed by his question then a T: followed by Chalamet's answer.
When on the I-D website I found an article called '9 New Yorkers on style, creativity & community' which felt very similar to what I'm supposed to be doing In my magazine. The interview consisted of 9 random people in new York simply answering questions some of the questions asked to the people were the same so you got to see the difference in peoples answers. I liked the fact that the people who were answering the questions were not high profile people so when reading their answers it felt very real and authentic.
Interview Magazine:
The American Magazine was created by Andy Warhol and British journalist John Wilcock in 1969. The magazine is known for having celebrities interview other celebrities, very similar to that of the I-D interview between Harry Styles and Timothee Chalamet.
The casual demeanour of these interviews is something I want to replicate within my own magazine. I feel as though this helps the reader get to know the person being interviewed better, it makes the interview feel more personal.

If Taylor gets a British Vogue cover it will be because of her overall profile, not just one thing.
She has the well reviewed indie film opposite Timothee Chalamet with the controversial cannibalism theme, her critically acclaimed play at The National Theatre, the Loewe campaigns, her own personal style which Vogue has been commenting on for years already.
It's extremely unlikely that she'll talk about Harry so that wasn't the deciding factor. British Vogue don't even rate him like US Vogue does. He's never done an interview with them. They have always favoured Zayn and Liam. The Editor in Chief Edward Enninful is a friend of Liam's and they've been to parties together, posted for each other's birthdays etc. Zayn featured on a British Vogue digital cover a few years ago.

EDITORIAL REASERCH: INTERVIEWS
Before starting my editorial I am researching into different interview styles, this is to help me find a vibe I like and feel like fits my theme. I don't want to start answering the questions right away before doing this as it may seem not very well put together and unprofessional.
youtube
This is a vogue interview with Timothee Chalamet, I like this interview style as it is quite relaxed and flows very well more like a conversation then an interview, I think the environment the interview is taking place in also contributes to this laid back style. While I do like this, I'm not sure if this would fit my theme as I am going into quite a deep topic so feel as though I may need a more professional take while doing the interview.
