this is my first year having participated in the halloween event for world of warcraft and my brother has been playing the headless horseman dungeon over and over to get the mount, hes been playing this game since it came out, he was talking about not even thinking hes gonna get the mount literally ever

i stopped playing the event a few days back cause i did everything i wanted and i wasnt all that into the mount anyway, its neat but not 'holy shit i need that so bad' stuff yknow

and anyway ive done that dungeon maybe like 10 times tops and i did one more tonight cause why not.

and i. got the mount

and he was rightfully really mad LMAOO

genuinely curious question for the folks out there who either don't regard dr3 despair arc as canon or have a retooled version of despair arc that's less stupid in their fanon: how do you guys envision chiaki in dr2?

i know canon says "chiaki in dr2 is an ai in the form of class77's beloved class rep who was killed to put her classmates in despair" but personally i vibe more with "chiaki in dr2 is an ai modeled after a person who does not exist; her form is the idealization of a chihiro who learned to love herself and designed a vision of who she wanted to be", yanno?

You know what comic book company and it's characters deserve more recognition? Valiant.

Valiant has so many interesting characters, it's quite the shame that they don't get as much love as any characters from the Big Two. Maybe a movie, or TV series, or video game could help expand the fan base.

When I gave my brother five comic companies and asked him which he would pitch a game to if given the chance, he said Valiant. He's not a comic book reader like I am, so he like just chose the way that could give some freedom to the work. When listing off characters a Souls-like game he would want to create, he stopped me and picked X-O Manowar. Which you know what? I think X-O Manowar could work in a Souls-like video game.

"But what about the Shadowman game and the Bloodshot movie? People know those." Yes, but how big was their impact?

And moving on from video games to movies, I think Valiant's characters would work better in animation than live-action. There's something about the colors of Valiant characters that pop better in anything not live-action. Taking Batinthesun's Ninjak vs the Valiant Universe for example, while costumes are spot on, they don't look as good, the colors don't pop as much, least in my opinion.

What characters would I pick for a Valiant animated movie? First thought is Shadowman, then Punk Mambo popped into my head. She could have a style that sort of meets in the middle of Miles' universe and Hobie's universe from Across the Spider-Verse.

Maybe someone could make an animated series for Valiant's immortal brothers, the Eternal Warriors, Ivar the Timewalker, and Armstrong. You could even throw their sister in too. War-Queen is pretty interesting for a slightly newer character, newer in that she only appeared within like the last decade I belive.

Or maybe could have the Deliquents, Archer, Armstrong, Quantum and Woody, as a ragtag bunch of misfits for a more comedic animated series.
