A very rough sketch for another swap around drawing thing I'm doing with friends!

I opted to sketch Pépin, Rosie and Tiu having a sleepy and cuddly Christmas eve!

SO Timeslip but in relation to the upcoming dnd campaign?? I just think that fairy Pép is exactly the sort of character 80's Pép would play: literally just himself but as a fairy! So this rambly tangent happened XD

Nothing fancy but a quick doodle of human toddler Rosie! When she's allowed to pick her own clothes it's a very eclectic mix of all her favourite things. (Also she got new welly boots and she will NOT take them off)

I think Pép used to pose for a bunch of old posters and stuff (Like the roller boots pinup!) back when he was in the 80's!

Yay ta! I decided to shuffle 80's Pép's playlist which is a mixture of 80's and modern stuff! I landed on "Remedy" by Little Boots! Again this is another song that almost completely fits him! (Also considering he was poisoned and that's why he timeslipped in the first place 😅)

I picked two bits that I find SUPER fitting! This bit because of it's fitting with him literally being poisoned, as well as how he was basically metaphorically poisoned, BUT despite this Pép's gotten stronger and better and dances and enjoys music to find happiness and continues to carry on despite everything!

And this bit because he's come so far since then, and now he's got the upper hand and won't fall for the same things as before, and how he knows how to look after himself and make himself feel better! (If any of this makes sense!)

Timeslip Pépin Mini Ramble

Another thing Pépin would have to get used to from being in the 80s to modern day would be how much more everything costs compared to what he's used too?

Say he had £10 he might expect to be able to buy himself a nice pair of high quality jeans or something, but that's £10 from '85.

A quick search for jeans online and they are upwards from £20, which to Pép would be SO much money.

I think he'd REALLY struggle with his money without a bit of help, at least to begin with.

I'm actually gonna be SUPER cheeky and write about Timeslip AU for Pépin because I was going to do that at some point anyway and you've given me the perfect excuse too >:3c Some of the things are the same as Plantling Pép so I'm gonna be lazy and not change those, but some are different!

Full name: Pépin (??? I still haven't decided on one yet BUT it's his mother's maiden name. He ditched his father's surname after getting kicked out)

Best friend: In the 80's it was someone from one of the gay clubs he frequented and his coworker at the cafe! Then in the present it's Alec!

Sexuality: Gay

Favorite color: pink Pink PINK (BUT also lots of other bright happy colours! But mostly pink)

Relationship status: Taken! Eventually he begins a relationship with Tiu, though that takes a long time!

Ideal mate: Someone kind and caring, who let’s Pépin be himself and also helping him when he needs it!

Turn-ons: Oh same as with Plant Pép! There's a LOT that works for Pép!

Favorite food: Anything sugary and strawberries! He also likes Pizza and fast food a lot!

Crushes: Strong men who could easily manhandle him and also give him big cuddles.

Favorite music: LOADS of upbeat bouncy music! Lots of 80's music is perfect for him and he loves stuff like "Uptown Girl" by Billy Joel. He also loves bouncy dance club music when he learns about that! Like Ke$ha's "Die Young" (Which is strangely fitting given what happened and how he ended up timeslipping 😅)

Biggest fear: He doesn’t acknowledge that he’s got any big fears, but he’s afraid no one will ever help him and he deserves his situation. BUT he also doesn’t need help because everything is perfectly fine!!!

Biggest fantasy: A dashing and charming man to sweep him off his feet and treat him well! He also wants to be able to do ballet again!

Bad habits: Pép fidgets a LOT and apologises a lot for stuff that isn't his fault .

Biggest regret: Whenever he does anything wrong.

Best kept secrets: How absolutely miserable and lonely he is, and how upset he was at being kicked out of his home. Also how he was being treated by Nathaniel.

Last thought: “Why is everything so loud and fast and busy in the future??? I just want to go home.”

Worst romantic experience: The reason Pépin timeslips; Nathaniel.

Biggest insecurity: Pép’s really insecure about a lot of things; How he looks, that he's annoying or stupid, his sexuality and his attraction to other men (He was born in the 60/70's and was a young adult in the 80's it was not a great time at all)

Weapon of choice: Doesn't really fit BUT because he was made to do rugby growing up he DOES know how to tackle someone twice his size.

Role Model: His mum! She was so kind and caring and happy, and always took the time to make him feel better. He hopes to be just as kind as she is! After being kicked out by his father he resented her for a long while, but in the end he just misses her, and is really upset when he's in the future he never got to say goodbye propely. (BUT it turns out she's still out there ALSO looking for him! And guess whose good at tracking people down? That's right, Tiu!)
