PASS IT FORWARD
pairing - timeskip. kuroo tetsuro (shocking ik) x msby manager gn. reader
summarization - being co-workers (kinda) and more than friends with kuroo comes with its pros and cons
includes - mutual pining, pining at work, distractions at work, did i mention pining, msby 4 and all the shenanigans that come with them, etc.
a/n - i've been thinking about this the whole day and i need to get it out. kinda long whoops. hopefully you'll like it tho <3
It's around 5 pm when you're finally able to sit down on one of the benches by the court, your papers and notes disregarded in your bag. Propping your chin on your hand, you watch in amusement as Atsumu sets to Sakusa and the latter hits a perfect line-shot.
The blonde is undeniably talented, anyone can see it from a mile away, but in all your months of knowing him the awe you feel never seems to falter. Not to mention the outside hitter. The curly-haired objectively handsome outside hitter.
Most times, you question the higher forces when it comes to dealing with these four, but when you have time to sit and observe them it becomes very clear why they get the amount of attention they do. All of them have these amazing qualities that seem to just lure people in. And apparently a lot of people seem to share that sentiment.
Kuroo Tetsuro included.
-
It's around 6.30 pm when Kuroo finally steps out of the JVA's main building, the light breeze causing his bangs to sway to the right.
He immediately fishes his phone out of his coat pocket, ignoring all the other messages and immediately going to his contact list.
The whole day today he was drowning in work and didn't even have a chance to text you and tell you his proposal was approved. Sponsorships flooded in, arrangements had to be made, timings discussed, and so on and so forth.
While he awaits for the steady beeps to pass and your voice to replace them, he can't help the small smile on his face.
'Hey! Finally decided to leave?'
At the sound of your voice his smile inevitably widens and he has to bite his lip to suppress it even the tiniest bit.
'Yeah, someone has to do the extra work around here.'
'Not if you're not getting paid for it you don't.'
'You have a point. It's worth it though.'
'Is it?'
Kuroo can practically see the face you're making and the image has him completely forgetting about the cold outside.
He's so focused on the warmth spreading through him, as well as all the memories from a few hours prior, it takes him a moment to register you calling out his name.
'Kuroo? You there?'
He forces himself to take a deep breath.
'They approved it.'
-
'Oh my god! Tetsu! That's fucking amazing! Congratulations!'
His deep chuckle reverberates through your phone and the swarm of butterflies in your stomach increases tenfold.
'Thank you. We should celebrate, don't you think? Dinner's on me. Invite the guys and meet me at Miya's at 7.30.'
'Okay. See you soon.'
You hang up with pride radiating of off you, so much so that even Sakusa is intrigued by your sudden spirit uplifting.
'What was that about?'
Four familiar faces surround you as your arms fly up in the air, your grin rivaling Hinata's signature smile.
'Kuroo's pitch was approved!'
A series of positively shocked statements follow, but all you can focus on is the happiness cursing through your whole body.
-
The familiar layout of Onigiri Miya greets the five of you when you step through the front door, immediately spotting Kuroo occupying one of the bigger tables. He's laughing at something Suna is showing him on his phone and for a moment your world just stops.
His hair falls every which way, due to the amount of times he ran his hand through it probably, his tie is loosened and the first two buttons of his dress shirt are unbuttoned, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows.
And he's laughing. That horrible, loud, manic hyena laugh that has you nearly tripping over your own feet.
Everything about him is naturally beautiful, in ways you couldn't even begin to describe.
Not to mention his eyes. You could get lost in those forever. There's just something about the golden specs in them and the intensity in his gaze whenever it meets yours.
Like now.
When he looks up he finds you immediately, and if possible his grin widens. It's like his body has a mind of its own because before he knows it he's standing in front of you.
'Hi.'
'Hi.'
Atsumu rolls his eyes somewhere behind you, the action earning him a slap on the back of his head by his brother, but you can't be bothered by anything besides Kuroo.
'I'm so proud of you, Tetsu!'
Your arms envelop him in a flash and he prays you don't feel the speed of his heartbeat.
Like a puzzle, when his own arms wrap around your form it feels like a perfect fit that neither of you wants to break. Unfortunately, you eventually do, but make no effort to move further.
God those eyes.
'Get a room already!'
Atsumu's shout breaks you both out of your trance, flushed cheeks and sheepish smiles.
'Before we start, I have an announcement.'
All attention falls onto the tall man who doesn't seem at all fazed by it, another thing you admired about him.
'You all...'
He makes a long pause for dramatic effect, which earns him a slap on the arm from you.
'...Are looking at the new Special Chief of PR Department at JVA.'
'Wait, seriously?!'
'Mhm.'
The table errupts in cheers and claps and you, once again, feel that fulfilling surge of pride when you look at him.
'You're fucking amazing.'
You shake your head with fondness. Fondness that Kuroo senses when he looks at you.
Under the dim lights of Osamu's restaurant, you admire the sharpness of his jawline, the curve of his nose, the way his stupidly messy hair covers half of his right eye...And too caught up in him, you fail to notice his eyes unable to pull away from your lips.
He was already standing close, you two never seemed to care for personal space, but he takes a step closer for good measure. It seems to have the desired effect when your eyes snap up to meet his, the corner of his lips tugging upwards ever so slightly.
'Do you mind if I-'
His voice is barely above a whisper but you cut him off with a nod and zero second thoughts.
'Please do.'
The moment your lips meet it's officially game over.
It's just you two in the world, no customers, no pro-athletes throwing comments in the background, just him.

Husbandry: Kuroo (NSFW)
Kuroo’s grandparents’ house was packed. The warm hum of conversation filled every corner, blending with the occasional burst of laughter and the distant sound of kids squealing as they ran through the hallways. His entire family had gathered for his grandfather’s birthday, a rare full-family event that happened maybe once a year.
The kitchen was a flurry of activity, aunts swapping recipes and gossip over steaming dishes while his uncles gathered around the dining table, engaged in heated debates over sports. Kuroo’s grandmother had you both cornered earlier, asking—no, demanding—when you two planned on giving her great-grandchildren, and before you could even attempt an answer, Kuroo had expertly steered the conversation to something else, saving you from the relentless interrogation.
You had smiled, nodded, played your role as the perfect daughter-in-law, but after hours of dodging prying questions and smiling at distant relatives whose names you barely remembered, you were in desperate need of a break. The stuffy warmth of the crowded living room and the persistent hum of voices pressing in from all sides made escape your only option.
So, you slipped into the bathroom, shutting the door behind you with a quiet sigh, pressing your hands against the sink. A deep breath, a few moments to yourself—that was all you needed. A little peace, a little space, a moment where you weren’t being eyed like a future baby-making machine.
Then, a few minutes later, the door clicked open again.
You barely had time to turn before Kuroo slipped in, shutting it behind him.
Your eyes widened. "What are you—"
"Let’s fuck."
You blinked. "Wow. How romantic. You really know how to set the mood, Tetsurō. Maybe light a candle next time? Play some soft jazz?"
His smirk was slow, lazy, dangerous. "Oh, I’d play something, alright. But I don’t think you’d be able to focus on the music."
You scoffed, folding your arms. "Tetsurō, we’re at your grandparent’s house. At a family event. With people literally roaming the halls. But sure, let’s add public indecency to our marriage résumé. That'll really impress your grandma."
He leaned in, pressing his hands against the sink behind you, caging you in. “And?”
Your heart pounded. “And it’s a terrible idea.”
Kuroo tilted his head, eyes gleaming. “You remember that bet we made a few weeks ago?”
Your stomach dropped.
Of course, you remembered. Some stupid, petty argument over who could name more world capitals or something equally dumb. You lost.
And Kuroo? He said he’d save his favor for the right moment.
This was apparently it.
“Tetsurō.” You crossed your arms, trying to look firm despite the way your pulse hammered in your throat. “Absolutely not.”
He grinned. “You agreed to the deal.”
“I didn’t think you’d cash it in like this!”
He hummed, tilting his head. “Well, it’s the perfect time. No one even notices we’re gone.”
You opened your mouth to protest, but the second his hands slid down to your waist, his fingers pressing into your hips, his body heat radiating against yours—
Your resolve crumbled.
“You wouldn’t.”
Kuroo leaned in, lips brushing your ear. “Oh, I would.”
And with the way he was pressing into you, his hands gripping you like he’d already won— you weren’t entirely sure you wanted to stop him.
His fingers trailed lower, teasing, playful, pressing into the fabric of your dress just enough to make you gasp. “You know, I was gonna save this for something special, but…” he exhaled against your neck, his voice dark, teasing. “I think you’d rather pay up right now, wouldn’t you?”
Your breath hitched, hands coming up to push against his chest—half-heartedly. “Your Mother is outside.”
His smirk deepened. “And? No one’s paying attention.”
“Tetsurō—”
“Shhh,” he murmured, fingers curling beneath your chin, tilting your face up. His lips hovered over yours, barely brushing, mocking. “You’re acting like you don’t want this.”
Your skin burned, and you cursed how easily he could unravel you. The worst part? He knew it. He knew you’d fold for him, knew exactly how to make your body betray you.
“Tell me you don’t want me,” he murmured, lips pressing just beneath your ear, his breath hot and slow.
You swallowed hard. “Tetsu—”
His hands slid further down, gripping your hips, pulling you against him. “Say it, baby. Say you don’t want me to touch you.”
You couldn’t.
Your fingers curled into the fabric of his shirt, your resolve slipping further with every second.
Kuroo chuckled, the sound low and full of satisfaction. “That’s what I thought.”
His hands slipped beneath the hem of your dress, slow and deliberate, fingers tracing along the sensitive skin of your thighs. “You’re already getting warm, baby,” he whispered. “You sure you wanna keep resisting me?”
You clenched your jaw, trying to fight the way your body shuddered under his touch.
You parted your lips, ready to say something—anything—but the moment his fingers pressed just a little higher, your breath hitched, and you knew you were done for.
Kuroo’s smirk widened. “Yeah, that’s what I thought.”
And then, he kissed you.
Deep, slow, devouring.
Your back hit the bathroom counter, your arms winding around his neck as he took his time, teasing you, making you fall apart without even trying.
“We have to be quiet,” he whispered against your lips.
And with the way he was dragging you under, drowning you in heat, in want, in him— you knew that was going to be impossible.
But instead of answering, you simply nodded, your breath uneven, your body already melting against him. His eyes darkened at your silent surrender, and before you could process it, you were kissing him again—deeper, more desperate, all hesitation gone.
His hands moved instantly, slipping further beneath your skirt, his fingers tracing the sensitive skin of your inner thigh, teasing, waiting. "That's my girl," he murmured against your lips, his grip tightening as he pressed you harder against the counter. "Now, let's see how well you can keep quiet."
His fingers slid between your thighs, parting them just enough before slipping under your underwear, skimming over your warmth with a featherlight touch. You sucked in a sharp breath, your hands gripping the sink behind you as he chuckled low against your lips. "Already so warm for me, baby."
You bit down on your lip as his fingers pressed in, slow but firm, stretching you just enough to make your legs shake. He worked you open with practiced ease, his other hand wrapping around your hip to hold you still as your body responded to every precise curl of his fingers.
A whimper nearly escaped your lips, but you slapped a hand over your mouth, eyes widening as you remembered where you were.
Kuroo smirked, dark and wicked, his fingers moving faster, his thumb circling that sensitive spot that had your stomach tightening. "That’s it," he whispered, nipping at your jaw. "Keep quiet for me. You don’t want anyone to hear, do you?"
You shook your head, muffled sounds slipping between your fingers as your thighs trembled around his hand. He was relentless, teasing, playing, knowing exactly how to push you to the edge without letting you go over.
Then, just as your breath hitched, just as your body started to tighten around his fingers, he withdrew.
You let out a desperate, choked sound, but before you could protest, you felt the unmistakable press of him against you. Hot. Hard. Teasing.
He groaned as he rubbed himself against your entrance, just barely pushing the tip inside before pulling away.
"Shit—you're shaking, baby," he whispered, his voice rough, strained with control. "You want it that bad, huh?"
Before you could answer, he grabbed your thighs, lifting you effortlessly onto the sink. The cool porcelain against your skin sent a shiver up your spine, but it was nothing compared to the way he slotted himself between your legs, teasing you further as he lined himself up.
"Hold on to me," he muttered, voice thick with hunger.
Your arms wrapped around his neck just as he pushed inside, slow but deliberate, stretching you inch by inch. A strangled moan built in your throat, but you barely bit it back, eyes fluttering shut as he bottomed out, filling you completely.
His fingers dug into your hips, holding you in place as he started to move, deep and steady at first, but quickly growing more desperate. His breath was hot against your neck, each groan rumbling through his chest as he thrust into you, the wet sound of skin against skin mixing with your ragged breathing.
Your legs tightened around his waist, pulling him in deeper, chasing the edge that was already creeping up on you. His hand snuck between your bodies, fingers finding that sensitive spot, circling, pressing, sending white-hot pleasure straight to your core.
"T-Tetsu—" you gasped, one hand flying to your mouth as your body trembled around him.
"That’s it," he groaned, fucking into you harder, faster. "Come for me, baby. Let me feel it."
You were right there, so close, when—
Knock. Knock.
Your eyes shot open, panic freezing you in place.
"Tetsurō?" came the unmistakable voice of his older sister from the other side of the door. "Are you in there?"
Kuroo barely faltered, grinning like the devil as he stilled inside you, pressing his forehead against yours.
"Yeah, be out in a sec," he called back easily, voice steady despite the fact that he was currently buried inside you.
His sister huffed. "Hurry up, it's time for cake. Also, where’s your wife?"
Your breath caught, but Kuroo? Unbothered.
"Dunno," he lied smoothly, thrusting into you just once, slow and teasing. "Maybe she got lost."
You bit your lip, glaring at him, nails digging into his shoulders.
His sister sighed. "Whatever. Just get your ass out here."
The second her footsteps faded down the hall, you swatted his arm, chest heaving.
"You are unbelievable."
Kuroo grinned, pulling back only to slam into you again, harder this time, forcing a muffled cry from your lips. Your arms tightened around his shoulders, nails pressing into his skin as your entire body clenched around him.
"That’s right," he whispered against your ear, his pace unrelenting, each thrust sharp and punishing. "You're shaking so much—gonna act like you don’t love this? Like you don’t get off on almost getting caught?"
You tried to glare at him, but with the way his cock was hitting that perfect spot inside you, all you could do was shudder, mouth parting in helpless gasps.
"Yeah, that’s what I thought," he taunted, watching the way your body twitched under him, the way you clung to him like you needed him to keep you from falling apart.
His fingers slid back between your legs, finding your swollen, desperate clit, rubbing it in slow, teasing circles. The sudden sensation sent a jolt of pleasure up your spine, and you bit down hard on your own hand to keep from crying out.
"That close already?" he murmured, feeling the way your walls fluttered around him, the way your legs trembled around his waist. "Bet you love this, don’t you? Letting me fuck you like this when anyone could walk in."
You tried to protest, but all that came out was a broken moan, breathless and wrecked.
Kuroo chuckled, breath hot against your cheek. "No snarky comeback? No sarcasm? Baby, you’re too far gone to even argue, huh?"
His words only pushed you further, the tension inside you winding impossibly tight. His thrusts grew sharper, his fingers working you relentlessly until you finally shattered, your entire body convulsing as pleasure crashed over you.
Your orgasm triggered his, his rhythm stuttering as he groaned low against your skin, spilling deep inside you.
For a long moment, the only sound in the bathroom was your combined heavy breathing, the weight of what just happened settling between you.
Then, Kuroo smirked, pressing one last slow kiss to your jaw. "See? That wasn’t so bad, was it?"
You barely had the strength to lift your head, your breath still coming in heavy, uneven pants. Swallowing hard, you managed to rasp, "Never again."
Kuroo only chuckled, brushing his lips against your temple before pulling back. "Come on, there's cake."
You groaned, still trying to reassemble your thoughts, your body tingling with the aftershocks of pleasure. With shaky hands, you reached down, pulling up your panties—now soaked with his release—and quickly adjusted your dress, trying to look at least somewhat composed before stepping back out into the party.
Kuroo, the smug bastard, was already fixing his shirt, completely unbothered, his smirk not fading for even a second as he reached for the door handle. "Think Grandma will notice how wrecked you look?"
You swatted at him, glaring. "Shut up, Tetsurō."
But as you stepped out, legs still wobbly, Kuroo just shot you a knowing grin. "Too late. You already look guilty."

Sports promotions was an easy job once you knew what you were doing and who you were working with. Kuroo, being a former captain of a powerhouse team, already knew the trade fairly well. His division of volleyball promotions worked closely with people he once had games with, it was always a treat to mess with them over an expensive dinner that his company would pay for. There weren’t many women in that field, so whenever one was hired it caused a stir. Kuroo thought that the stir you were causing was stupid, but that was before he saw your pretty face.
You were behind a desk, typing away at your computer. You looked so innocent, humming a little tune as your tiny fingers typed away. He approached your desk and offered you a smirk, introducing himself. He noticed how you blushed when he looked at you, like a fawn being spotted by a wolf in the forest. Fuck, Kuroo thought that was so fucking hot. But he couldn’t do anything about that, he had too much respect for you. You were just so innocent, how could he defile you?
Turns out, you weren’t as innocent as he thought. Kuroo was mindlessly swiping on Tinder when your profile popped up, displaying your curves that were barely concealed by a little red clubbing dress. ‘Only on here for some fun <3’ was all your bio said, and that made Kuroo practically jump out of his bed. His finger slid right on the phone screen and the two of you matched, causing his cock to throb in his sweatpants. Finally, he had a in.
The harsh cracking of Kuroo’s hand against the supple skin of your ass filled his penthouse apartment, acompanied by the squelching noise of your pussy struggling to take his massive cock deeper. You had barely managed to get the tip inside, using all your strength to hover yourself above his lap. Kuroo leaned against his padded headboard, the same smirk from earlier adorning his face as he watched the lewd display in front of him. You had talked a big game in your earlier messages, so why were you struggling now. Perhaps you had bitten off more than you could chew when you decided to swipe right on his profile. “What, you’re having trouble taking all of me inside you? C’mon now baby, don’t be like that. Getting all shy again?” his words were laced with sarcasm as you shook your head, feeling your quivering legs about to give out. “I-I can take more, promise!”
Kuroo shook his head in disagreement, shifting his hands to they rested on your hips. “You looked so fucking slutty in those photos,” he teased, slamming your hips down further onto his cock. He gave you no time to adjust to his girth of length, breathing in your wanton and painful cries of pleasure and pain. “Gonna fuck you like a slut now, okay princess? Making me do all the work, typical.”
His hands slammed you up and down on his length, using your body like his own personal fleshlight. Your head was thrown back as your eyes focus on the ceiling above you, the chandelier sparking in the candlelight of his bedroom. Your tongue rolled out of your mouth, saliva dripping onto your swollen tits that were so carefully marked with Kuroo’s teeth. Just enough that you could still wear revealing clothes to work, showing the tiniest bit of cleavage.
His cock hit your G-spot perfectly each time, your sobbing cunt pulling him in deeper with each thrust inside of you. “Fuck, you’re fucking milking me baby,” Kuroo groaned, smacking your ass once more. “You want me to fill you up, huh? It that it princess? C’mon now, lemme hear you beg for my cum. Can you be a good little slut and do that, yeah? Don’t keep me waiting.” he punctuated his sentence with an incredible thrust, a wanton moan falling from your bruised lips.
“K-Kuroo! Wan’ your cum, fuck! P-please, please!” you patheically cried out, fingers scrambling for purchase in his mess of black hair. Your moans were so pretty and wet, how could he refuse his adorable little secretary? His release painted your insides with a roar, the warm sensation filling your stomach. He stopped bouncing you on his length, hands falling limp against his sides.
“Fuck,” was all that Kuroo could muster, smiling to himself as you collapsed onto his chest with his cock still nestled deep inside your creamy core. “I never knew you would be such a slut, you know? Thought you were a virgin or something.” he chuckled, kissing the side of your cheek.
“I might as well have been one, you’re fucking insane,” you mumbled against his skin, lifting your face up to look into his golden eyes. Your mascara was running and your hair was a damn mess, but Kuroo thought you had never looked as pretty as you do now. “You gotta give me some mercy next time, okay? Most girls aren’t used to your massive fucking cock.”
“Oh? There’s gonna be a next time?” Kuroo smirked and wiggled his eyebrows at you, causing you to roll your eyes in mock annoyance.
“Hell yeah there’s gonna be a next time, that was the best sex I’ve ever had.” you smirked, playfully nipping at the cartilage of his ears.
“I can’t wait.”

Kuroo has always had a bad hair.
Ever since he was a kid, one of his main physical traits is his atrocious bed hair. He wakes up like that because of how hard he presses his pillows to his ears while he sleeps, so it's not really a habit he can change easily. Also, he has never had a problem with it, especially because his pretty wife, you, said it's one of your favorite parts of him.
You always talk about how you love his hair, even if you still call him "rooster head" sometimes. You love to pet it, you love the shape, the color and everything involving his hair. Not even he is capable of understanding the "attraction" you feel for it, so he just enjoys it.
So yeah, he doesn't really hate his hair, and overtime, he learned how to keep it more "tamed" and "behaved". So he thought his hair problems were over. No more bad hair days.
Well, he thought.
"Stupid... hair tie...." Kuroo murmured, voice coming out muffled because of the pink butterfly pin with glitter that was on his mouth. His eyes held a look of extreme concentration, akin to a hunter aiming for a deer in the middle of the woods.
He was serious. In fact, he had never been so serious in his life. Because this wasn't any occasion. It was the first time you had ever let him dress up your 5 year old daughter for school. He couldn't mess this up.
Her hair needed to be perfect. He just seemed to forget he had never braided a hair before in his life.
"Daddy, are you alright?" His little girl asked, feet moving around and hands on her lap, waiting patiently for her dad to finish the "amazing hairstyle" he promised her.
If only she knew.
"Yeah, sweetheart!" Tetsuro said, drops of sweat running down his forehead. "Just wait a little more!" He said, taking his phone off his pocket while still holding a lock of hair and still with the butterfly pin in his mouth.
He then started watching a video on youtube. It's title was "How to make a braid with only 3 steps".
"Ah, so it's actually done with 3 locks of hair, not only 2!"
He then began treading his daughter's hair with such precision that it was scary. His eyes were focused and it seemed like he couldn't pay attention to anything else. It was only him, the hair ties, and the hair. Nothing else.
After a while, things were actually going somewhere.
No way. He was almost getting it finished!
"Tetsu, honey, are you guys ready?" He heard you calling from the kitchen
"One sec, love!" Kuroo shouted back. "Now I just need to do this and... AHA! My masterpiece is ready!"
"How do I look, daddy?" His daughter asked, smiling brightly at him. Even if she had some missing teeth, Kuroo swore it was the prettiest smile he had ever seen in his life. Of course it was. It was just like your's, afterall.
"You look amazing sweetie. Like a real princess! You're your dad's princess, you know that, right?"
"Thank you dad!" She smiled again, hugging him strongly. He hug her back, careful not to touch her hair in the process. He couldn't ruin his hard work!
"Now, why don't we go show mama how great you look, hm?" He crouched down and smiled at her
"Of course! Let's go dad!" She laughed, grabbing his hands and pulling him downstairs.
She really was the cutest kid Kuroo has ever seen.
"Okay sweetheart, close your eyes!" Kuroo said, peeking from the kitchen's door. "Our daughter wants to surprise you with her amazing hair - the one I braided, of course"
"Sure, Tetsu! I can't wait to see this great work of art!" You giggled, using a sarcatic tone.
I mean, look at his hair. He couldn't have an experience with braiding. It was clear the hair would look utterly horrible.
"Hey, I sensed that sarcasm!" He said, which made you giggle "Mind you, she loved it!"
"If you say so. I'm gonna close my eyes now!" You smiled, putting your hands on front of your eyes to show them you wouldn't cheat and open your eyes
"No peaking, mama!" You heard your daughter saying, her little footsteps making you realize she entered the kitchen.
"Yeah, no peaking!" Kuroo agreed.
Gosh, they really were the same.
"Okay, okay! I'm not gonna peek"
"Now, I'm gonna count to three and say 'now'. Then you can open your eyes!" Kuroo said, voice showing how excited he was
"Okay!" You smiled
"1..."
You were really starting to think he did a great job. He looked so proud of it, after all!
"2..."
You heard your daughter giggling in the background. Maybe you really judged your husband wrong. Maybe he did know how to braid hairs.
"3..."
You were sure it would be at least decent. If it was, then you'd let your daughter wear it to school. If they were both happy, why not?
"Now!"
You then remove your hands from your face and open your eyes, meeting the most...
Atrocious braid you've ever seen.
"She's not going like that to school." You deadpanned, looking at the hair and wondering why he thought this looked good. Had he never seen a braid before in his life?
"HUH? WHY NOT?" Kuroo shouted, his chest that was once proudly puffed up now deflating
"Why not, mama?" Your daughter started tearing up, looking up at you with big, pleading eyes.
"It looks..." terrible. Is what you really wanted to say.
But looking at your the sad faces of your family members, you didn't find the strength to do so. And so, with a sigh, you smiled and said
"Too good! Other kids will be jealous!"
"For a moment there I thought you were judging my hairstyling habilities!" Kuroo laughed, that obnoxious laugh of his that you loved so much echoing through the halls
"Oh!" Your daughter also laughed, the same way her dad did "There's no problem! I can tell dad to do their hairstyles too!"
"Great idea, sweetie!" Kuroo agreed with her, eyes sparkling up
"I think... it's better if you don't"
"What do you mean by that?" Kuroo asked, looking straight at you with a very sad face.
"Just... you don't seem to have a talent with hairs."
"But you told me you love my hair!" Tetsuro pouted
"I do. And I love you, too!" You kissed his nose, making him smirk at you.
"Not enough. What about... here?"
He grabbed you by the waist and pulled you in for a kiss on the lips. It was full of all the love and passion he held for you and the family you both created together.
"Ewww, daddy and mommy are kissing! Gross!" Your daughter put her tongue out and did a "throwing up" mimic, making you both laugh.
"Now, let's take you to school, sweetheart!"
You smiled, leading both your husband and your daughter to the car.
You really loved your family, even if Kuroo didn't know how to deal with hairs sometimes.
You wonder if he would "get along" better with his son's hair. The son that he still doesn't know is in your belly right now.
Well, he still has 7 months to practice for when the time comes.
~ A/N: FINALLY WROTE A REQUEST!! It was so fun writing this omG. I love healthy families 💕. ALSO, first hq fic!! 🥳🥳

Marching torwards your neighbor door, you question yourself how is that even possible.
Your cat, Lola, a white persian, lies lazily on the animal carrier, and you huff annoyed, looking at her.
“I thought you hated other cats, you little troublemaker” — you mumble to the cat like she can understand you. And for her lazy grumbling, you know she can.
You knock on the white door three times. It’s late enough for the guy already be at home from work, but not late enough for him to be sleeping, you think in your head, looking at the 20:37 appearing at your watch. He’s a corporate worker like yourself, you saw him many times in the elevator with his suit and tie and his badge—
You were dry cut mid thought by the door opening, and the delicious scent of musky soap invading your senses.
Kuroo is standing, puzzled, wearing grey sweatpants and a black tank top, slightly wet hair, tilting his head. The girl next door, he thinks to himself.
He had seen you around countless times on the common areas, in the elevator, in the pool in a skimpy bikini, even at the gym. But what could you possibly be doing on his door?
You look at him, allowing your eyes to fall in his figure for miliseconds, enough to take notice of his strong biceps on show. Scrumptious. Then you focus back on his face.
“Hi, neighbor. Your cat just impregnated my kitty.”
He just looks at you for a couple seconds, his eyes slightly widening as the words slowly sunk on his brain.
“Excuse me?” — He asked, blinking. He’s either really tired or you are saying the most unlikely thing ever, and he didn’t know what is worse.
You squint, still a little annoyed, but slowly getting amused.
"Sorry the suddenness... you're the owner of that black short-haired cat, aren't you?"
You ask, and as if on cue, the little fella appeared strutting and mumbling a grumble behind Kuroo's legs, apparently curious of who's in the door
Kuroo looks down at the cat and then back at you, his eyes widening a bit as realization sank in.
“Ah— yes…” He says slowly, his eyebrows knitting in a frown. “This is Loki, yeah”.
He looked down at the cat again, who is now sitting and looking up at you with his big, yellow eyes, as if he knew exactly what you were about to say.
Kuroo crouched down to scratch behind Loki’s ears, his lips quirking into an amused grin.
“Looks like someone had a productive week,” he said dryly, casting a glance back up at you.
You huffed, crossing your arms. “Productive? That’s one way to put it. My vet bill is going to be very productive, thanks to him.”
Kuroo straightened up, the movement drawing your eyes to the way his tank top stretched across his chest. You swallowed quickly and forced your gaze to his face— a smirking face, of course.
“Alright, I guess I owe you an apology?” he said, leaning casually against the doorframe. “Though, to be fair, it takes two to tango. Maybe your girl couldn’t resist Loki’s charm.”
You blinked, caught off guard by his playful boldness. “Excuse me? My Lola is a lady of standards.”
“Clearly,” Kuroo said with a teasing edge, his smirk deepening. “I mean, look at Loki—absolute catch.”
You tried not to laugh, but a small snort escaped, and you covered it with a cough. “Okay, fine. Maybe they’re both to blame. But seriously, I thought she hated other cats. I didn’t even know they interacted.”
“Cats are sneaky like that,” he replied, shrugging, his tone light but his gaze lingering on you for just a second too long. You felt a strange warmth creep up your neck and mentally cursed him for being so... distracting.
“Well,” you started, clearing your throat and glancing down at Lola, who was now staring at Loki with her usual haughty expression, “Anyways. Just wanted to let you know that. And to ask if you know anyone who might want some… persian mixed kittens? I figure that the least you could do is help me find a home for them after they born”
Kuroo raised an eyebrow, a flicker of amusement dancing in his eyes. “You’re already putting me to work, huh? I didn’t realize Loki’s charm would come with responsibilities.”
You shot him a flat look, though the corners of your lips twitched. “You do realize this is partially your fault, right? Or are you just going to let me deal with a whole litter of kittens by myself?”
He chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck. “Alright, fair enough. Consider me on kitten duty.” His smirk softened into something a bit more sincere. “I’ll help however I can. They are Loki’s kids, after all.”
Something about the way he said it, the playful yet genuine tone, made your resolve to stay annoyed falter. Maybe he wasn’t so bad after all.
“Good,” you said, a little less stern this time. “You can start by helping me figure out where to set up for them. I don’t have much space in my apartment.”
Kuroo’s grin returned in full force. “So what I’m hearing is... you’re inviting me over?”
Your eyes widened slightly, caught off guard by his boldness, but you recovered quickly, giving him a pointed look, raising your eyebrows smugly. “Don’t get ahead of yourself, neighbor. This is strictly business.”
He laughed, the sound low and warm, and you hated how much you liked it. “Strictly business, got it.”
Loki chose that moment to rub up against Kuroo’s leg, his tail swishing as he let out a satisfied purr. Lola, still sitting primly in her carrier, let out an indignant grumble in response.
“Seems like they’ve got a complicated relationship,” Kuroo remarked, glancing down at the cats. “Enemies? Lovers? Frenemies?”
You rolled your eyes, though a small smile tugged at your lips. “Let’s just call them… complicated.”
“Works for me,” he said with a wink, straightening up. “Complicated relationships are kind of my specialty.”
Before you could respond—because what could you say to that without your brain short-circuiting?—Kuroo kept going: “I’ll check around to see if anyone’s interested in adopting some kittens,” he added casually. “Can I have your phone number? You know… to discuss kitten details?”
You narrowed your eyes at him, catching the glint of mischief in his tone. You said back with a mocking hint of disbelief. “Uh-huh. Kitten details. Sure.”
Kuroo raised his hands in mock innocence, the smirk still playing on his lips. “Strictly business, remember?”
You rolled your eyes but relented, pulling your phone out of your pocket. “Fine. Give me your phone.”
He handed it over without hesitation, and you quickly typed in your number, labeling yourself as Kitten Lady. When you handed it back, Kuroo glanced at the screen and let out a laugh.
“Kitten Lady? That’s what we’re going with?”
You shrugged, feigning nonchalance. “Fits the situation, doesn’t it? Unless you’d prefer something more creative, like Annoyed Neighbor Who’s Stuck With Your Cat’s Consequences.”
“I think Kitten Lady has a nicer ring to it,” he said, his grin widening.
You shook your head, trying to ignore the way his playful energy was starting to chip away at your annoyance. “Alright, then. I guess I’ll be hearing from you soon, Kitten Dad.”
Kuroo raised an eyebrow at the nickname but didn’t argue. “Kitten Dad, huh? I’ll take it. Has a nice familial touch to it.”
You sighed, stepping back toward your door with Lola in tow. “Goodnight, Neighbor,”
“Goodnight, Kitten Lady,” he replied smoothly, leaning against the doorframe as he watched you retreat.
As you reached your door, you couldn’t help but glance back over your shoulder. He was still standing there, Loki in his arms, one hand casually rubbing behind Loki’s ears, his eyes locked on you with an unreadable expression.
You quickly looked away, fumbling with your keys and stepping into your apartment, shutting the door behind you. Leaning against it, you let out a slow breath, placing Lola’s carrier on the floor and opening the little grid door.
Lola meowed lazily, peeking out of the carrier as if she were judging you.
“Don’t look at me like that,” you muttered, setting the carrier down and letting her out.
Lola stretched and sauntered off, clearly unimpressed.
You rubbed your temples, already feeling the beginnings of a headache. This was going to be a long few weeks, wasn’t it?
----------------------------------------------------
Across the hall, Kuroo closed his door with a quiet chuckle, looking down at Loki, who was now lounging contentedly on the floor.
“Well, buddy,” he said, crouching down to scratch under Loki’s chin. “Looks like you’ve caused some chaos.”
Loki purred in response, blinking up at him with an air of smug satisfaction.
Kuroo leaned back against the door, a small smile lingering on his lips as he pulled his phone out to save your number properly. His thumb hovered over the screen for a moment as he read Kitten Lady 🐾.
He stared at it for a beat longer, that grin of his softening slightly. This might just get interesting.
----------------------------------------------------
Surprisingly enough —or don’t— he was the one to text first just a day later. You’re at work, sipping coffee after a meeting, scrambling some papers on your desk when your phone buzzed. The Kitten Dad name made you squint your eyes.
Kitten Dad: Hey, goodday sweetheart. You good? Just got asked when is little Lola due. A friend from work might be interested in having one of the kitties.
I look at the text. A friend from work? He text and I can’t help but imagine how is he at work. Is he a manager? A head? A director? Which department is he from? If I had to guess I would say Sales — he’s charismatic enough to sell sand in the desert.
I huff in annoyance with my own train of thought. Why am I thinking so hard about it? I take my phone to answer.
Kitten Lady 🐾: Hey. Vet said she’s due two weeks from now.
The response was simple, straightforward. Yet, as you set your phone down, you couldn’t help but wonder if you’d sounded too curt. No, you told yourself firmly. It’s just a text. No need to overthink.
But then, your phone buzzed again, and against your better judgment, you snatched it up almost immediately.
Kitten Dad: Two weeks, huh? That’s soon. Let me know if you need help setting things up for her. I’m practically a cat expert now.
You bit back a smile. Cat expert, huh? You could practically see that cocky smirk on his face, the same one he’d worn when he leaned in the doorframe last night.
Kitten Lady 🐾: Oh, are you? Should I start calling you Dr. Meow?
It took less than a minute for his reply to come through.
Kitten Dad: Has a nice ring to it. Or Cat Whisperer. Either works.
You let out a small laugh, earning a confused look from a passing coworker. Quickly composing yourself, you turned back to your desk, cheeks warming for no apparent reason.
----------------------------------------------------
By the time you got home that evening, you were surprised to find Kuroo opening his door, like he was waiting for you to arrive to leave and talk to you. He was holding a small, rectangular package in his hands and greeted you with his signature grin as he walked torwads you and your door as you opened it.
“Evening, Kitten Lady,” he said smoothly. “Perfect timing.”
You blinked, shifting your bag onto your shoulder. “Uh, hey? What’s that?”
“Thought I’d swing by and help with that whole ‘setting up for Lola’ thing,” he said, holding up the package. “Got a starter kit—fluffy blankets, soft toys, and some other stuff. Figured it might make her more comfortable when the kittens arrive.”
You stared at him, stunned. For all the teasing and smug remarks, you hadn’t expected this. “You… bought stuff for Lola?”
“Well, yeah,” he said, rubbing the back of his neck almost sheepishly. “I mean, it’s partially Loki’s fault, right? I can’t exactly leave you hanging.”
For a moment, you didn’t know what to say. There was a sincerity in his tone that caught you off guard. He wasn’t just trying to charm his way out of responsibility—he was actually being… thoughtful.
“That’s… really nice of you,” you said finally, unlocking your door. “Thanks, Kuroo.”
“Don’t mention it,” he said, following you inside.
Lola, as always, was lounging regally on the couch, barely sparing Kuroo and Loki—who had, unsurprisingly, followed him to your place unbothered—a passing glance.
“She really does act like a queen, doesn’t she?” Kuroo said, setting the box down and kneeling to unpack its contents.
“She’s earned it,” you replied, watching as he pulled out a fluffy blanket and a tiny cat bed. “I mean, look at her. She’s unbothered by everything.”
“Clearly,” he said, glancing over his shoulder with a smirk. “She didn’t even flinch when Loki walked in like he owns the place.”
You snorted, crossing your arms. “She’s probably plotting her revenge for him ruining her peace.”
Kuroo laughed, the sound warm and easy, and you found yourself smiling despite yourself. He had a way of making everything feel light, even when you wanted to stay annoyed.
“Alright,” he said, turning back to the task at hand. “Where do you want this stuff? I’ll help you set up her little kitten corner.”
You hesitated for a moment, but eventually pointed to a cozy nook near the window. “Over there, I guess. She likes the sun.”
“Got it,” he said, grabbing the blanket and bed.
As you watched him work, his movements uncharacteristically focused, you couldn’t help but wonder: was this the same guy who smirked at you in elevators and flirted shamelessly by his door? Because right now, he looked… different. Softer, somehow.
“You know,” you said after a moment, “you’re surprisingly good at this whole ‘cat dad’ thing.”
He looked up, his grin returning. “What can I say? I have hidden talents.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t stop the smile tugging at your lips. Maybe this arrangement wouldn’t be so bad after all.
----------------------------------------------------
The kitten corner was finally set up, and Lola had already claimed her throne atop the soft new bed. Loki, meanwhile, was having the time of his life pawing at one of the dangling toys Kuroo had brought over, batting it around like a tiny predator.
You were in the kitchen, rummaging through your cabinets for something to fix up while Kuroo lounged on the couch. The sound of his laughter floated through the room, warm and unrestrained, as Loki miscalculated a jump and landed in a comically undignified sprawl.
“You weren’t kidding about him being a troublemaker,” you called over your shoulder, smiling to yourself as you grabbed a couple of glasses and a bottle of wine you’d been saving for some occasion. This felt good enough.
“Hey, he’s a charming troublemaker,” Kuroo countered, his voice carrying an easy humor. “Loki’s got personality. You can’t fault him for that.”
You rolled your eyes, pouring the wine. “If by ‘personality,’ you mean a complete lack of grace, then sure.”
“Hey now,” he said, mock-defensive, “I’ll have you know he’s a highly sophisticated creature.”
Turning with the glasses in hand, you walked back to the couch and handed him one, tilting your head toward Loki, who was currently tangled in the blanket he’d been pouncing on. “Yeah, I can see the sophistication from here.”
Kuroo snorted, taking the glass from you with a murmured “Thanks,” before shifting to make room for you to sit. You settled cross-legged into the cushion next to him, a comfortable silence falling as you both watched the cats in their oddly synchronized chaos.
“So,” you said after a moment, swirling the wine in your glass, “what do you actually do? Besides spoil Loki and crash your neighbor’s evening.”
Kuroo grinned, taking a slow sip before answering. “I’m a PR manager for the promotion division at JVA. Basically, I work with the teams that keep the company and our sponsors happy. Events, campaigns, all that good stuff.”
You raised an eyebrow, genuinely impressed. “JVA? As in the Japan Volleyball Association?”
“That’s the one,” he said, flashing a toothy grin. “Biggest name in the game. It’s a lot of work, but I like it. Keeps me on my toes.”
“Wow,” you said, nodding. “That actually explains a lot. You’ve got that… people-person vibe.”
“Oh?” he teased, leaning back against the couch. “And what vibe is that, exactly?”
You rolled your eyes but smiled. “You know. Smooth talker, always charming. Classic PR type.”
Kuroo chuckled, resting his arm casually along the back of the couch. “I’ll take that as a compliment. What about you? What’s the story with… what do you do, again?”
“Marketing manager,” you said, shrugging. “Different industry, same chaos. I work for a firm that handles branding for retail clients. It’s mostly brainstorming ad campaigns and arguing over budgets.”
“Sounds intense,” he said, tilting his head slightly. “But you’re good at it, huh?”
You blinked, caught off guard by the sincerity in his tone. “I mean, I guess. I like it. It’s creative, and it keeps me busy.”
“Busy’s good,” he said, nodding. “But it doesn’t leave much time for stuff like this, huh?”
You glanced at him, unsure what he meant, but his gaze was fixed on the cats now. Lola was swatting half-heartedly at Loki, who had resumed his enthusiastic assault on the dangling toy.
“No,” you admitted softly, swirling the wine in your glass again. “Not really. I guess I don’t usually let myself slow down.”
Kuroo looked at you then, his gaze steady but unreadable. “Well,” he said after a moment, his voice lighter again, “it’s a good thing you’ve got me to force some downtime on you, huh?”
You laughed, shaking your head. “Oh, is that what this is? A public service?”
“Exactly,” he said with mock seriousness, raising his glass in a toast. “Here’s to kitten diplomacy and responsible downtime.”
You clinked your glass against his, unable to hide your smile. “Cheers to that.”
For the first time in what felt like forever, you allowed yourself to relax. The warmth of the wine, the sound of his laughter, and the soft chaos of the cats were all more comforting than you’d expected. Maybe Kuroo wasn’t just a charming troublemaker after all.
And maybe, just maybe, you didn’t mind him crashing your evening.
----------------------------------------------------
Two glasses of wine in, and you were feeling a little loose, the warm buzz in your cheeks spreading to your limbs. The evening had been lighthearted—talking about work, random anecdotes, and occasional jokes about the cats and their ridiculous antics.
You were now sitting cross-legged on the couch, your messy bun more of a loose cluster than a tidy knot, strands of hair falling against your flushed cheeks. You animatedly gestured with your hands, describing some recent event at work. Kuroo is now leaning forward with that usual relaxed, playful energy that made you forget there was anyone else in the room.
“—and I swear, if I have to sit through one more ‘group synergy’ meeting, I’ll scream,” you finished with a dramatic sigh, dropping back onto the couch, rolling your eyes.
Kuroo snickered, leaning back, arms crossing behind his head as he relaxed. “Group synergy? That sounds like a nightmare. You really don’t like your coworkers, do you?”
You shot him a teasing glare, settling deeper into the couch. “I’m professional, I swear. But, seriously, it’s the worst. A whole hour, and not one person had anything worth saying. They spent half the time discussing what color the logo should be on our next campaign. I almost fell asleep.”
“Well, at least the logo’s going to look great,” Kuroo teased, reaching for his glass and taking a casual sip.
You snorted and looked at him sideways, the wine making you more comfortable than you intended. “You’re one to talk. You’ve probably sat through worse in PR. What’s the worst meeting you’ve ever had to deal with?”
Kuroo tilted his head, thinking. “Hmm, I guess the worst was this entire week-long campaign brainstorming session where we just talked about the idea but never actually did anything. People in that room were like… walking around in their own little PR bubbles. I nearly lost my mind.”
“Is that why you’re so laid-back now? You survived that chaos and just decided to become a permanent chill vibe?”
“Exactly,” he said, grinning. “I figured if I could survive that and still be sane, I deserve to kick back a little.”
You shook your head, still grinning. “I can’t believe you’ve been in that world for so long. You must have some stories.”
Kuroo’s eyes sparkled with mischief, and you realized you might’ve just opened a can of worms. “Oh, definitely. A lot of interesting ones. You know, the kind where you end up questioning your life choices. And not only work-related.
You raised an eyebrow, leaning forward. “You’re gonna have to elaborate on that.”
He leaned in, his voice taking on a more conspiratorial tone. “Alright, alright. So, there was this one relationship I had.” He started, and you raise one eyebrow, not expecting him to just switch from work to personal relationship so quickly “She was a wild ride—great at first, but things got a little… crazy. Started out all perfect, you know? But then she started bringing up wedding ideas after a couple of months, and I’m like, ‘Whoa, hold up.’”
You laughed, raising your glass, poiting at him, remembering the topic from earlier, but not entirely knowing the story. “Wait, wait—this is the ex who nearly got you to the altar?”
“Yup,” Kuroo said with a smirk, swirling his glass, “but I guess she wasn’t the ‘I Do’ type, if you know what I mean.” He winked, and the playful lilt in his voice had you biting back a smile.
“No way. Did she have one of those ‘we need to talk’ moments?”
He nodded dramatically. “Oh, she sure did. But instead of talking, she got me into a whole emotional spiral. I was supposed to pick out wedding rings, and I—” He cut himself off with a laugh, shaking his head. “I mean, talk about commitment issues. You would have thought I was getting married to someone else the way she freaked out.”
You snorted, shaking your head. “That’s insane. What did you do?”
“Well, after a long string of very loud discussions, I ended up booking a solo trip to Thailand for some ‘soul-searching.’ I didn’t come back with a ring, but I did come back with a lot of souvenirs and a much-needed reality check.”
Your lips curled into a smile, impressed. “I mean, I don’t blame you. That sounds like a red flag festival.”
“Exactly.” Kuroo leaned back, letting out a chuckle. “I don’t think she ever quite understood why I ghosted her after that.”
You shrugged, a teasing glint in your eyes. “Well, sounds like you dodged a bullet. She was probably a headache.”
“Oh, definitely,” he said with a wink. “But, hey, I’m better for it. You live and you learn, right?”
Your expression softened, just for a moment. “Yeah, I guess so. Can’t say I’ve been any better at picking ideal relationships either.”
Kuroo’s gaze flickered to you for a moment, and the sudden shift in the air wasn’t lost on either of you. You could feel the tension coil between you, subtle but undeniable. He tilted his head, his tone more curious.
“You’ve had your fair share of messy affairs?”
You shrugged nonchalantly, but your fingers fidgeted with your wine glass. “I mean, I was in an office relationship once. It was… well, it was a disaster, to be honest. Started out all hot and heavy, you know? But once we hit that *‘what’s next?’* phase, everything went south.”
“Office romances are always a gamble,” he said, voice quieter now. “Especially when someone can’t handle the post-work hours realities.”
You let out a soft laugh, but there was a certain edge to it. “Yeah, and the worst part? I thought we were solid. But he ended up freaking out when things got serious. Real ‘let’s keep it casual’ kind of guy.”
There it was again—the unspoken weight in the air. You could feel it creeping closer, like the world had just tilted slightly. You were both leaning in, caught in this space where the conversation could go anywhere—or nowhere.
“Funny how that happens,” Kuroo murmured, his gaze drifting from your eyes to your lips and back again.
You swallowed hard, lips slightly parted, suddenly aware of how close he was. “Yeah,” you said softly, the atmosphere thickening. “Funny…”
A long beat of silence followed. Then, as if the universe itself had just cleared its throat, Kuroo’s smirk deepened, and he leaned back slightly, breaking the tension just enough to let you both breathe again.
“Well, at least you didn’t nearly get engaged,” he said with a teasing grin. “I think that takes the cake on ‘bad decisions’.”
You shook your head with a soft laugh, relieved for the lighthearted tone again. “I’d be so much better at picking next time,” you said, looking at him with a sly grin. “I think I’ve learned my lesson.”
Kuroo raised an eyebrow, his gaze flickering down to your lips once more. “Oh? What exactly does that lesson look like?”
You felt the heat of his gaze, and the sudden closeness seemed to make the space between you shrink even further. The way he was looking at you, the slight tilt of his head—it was almost like he was waiting for you to make the next move. It made your heart skip a beat.
You cleared your throat, forcing yourself to focus, but it was hard to ignore the way your body seemed to lean in just a little closer, drawn to him like a magnet. “Maybe…” you began slowly, your voice soft but carrying the weight of something unspoken, “maybe I’ll go for someone who doesn’t have a one-way ticket to Crazy Town.”
Kuroo’s lips curled into a half-smile, but it wasn’t as playful anymore. There was a hint of something else lurking beneath. He leaned in, ever so slightly, as if testing the waters. “You know,” he said quietly, “sometimes, a little bit of crazy isn’t always a bad thing.”
Your breath caught in your throat. “Is that so?” You met his gaze head-on, not backing down, but feeling your pulse pick up.
“Yeah,” Kuroo replied, his voice lower now, his tone shifting, “sometimes it’s just the right kind of chaos that makes things… interesting.” His eyes never left yours as he spoke, the words heavy with an almost tangible tension.
For a moment, the space between you seemed to dissolve entirely, and you couldn’t help but wonder if he was this close to crossing that line. The line you both knew was there, but neither of you had acknowledged it yet.
“Is that what you’re offering?” you teased lightly, though you could hear the slight quiver in your own voice.
Kuroo’s smirk widened just slightly, but the warmth in his eyes remained. “Maybe…” His voice trailed off, but the way he said it made you feel like there was more to it, like he was almost daring you to take it further.
You couldn’t stop yourself from leaning in just a little, your lips almost brushing as you whispered, “Maybe I’m not sure if I want to risk another ‘chaos’ just yet.”
Kuroo's gaze dropped to your lips for the briefest moment, and you could feel the charged atmosphere shifting. The space between you was narrowing faster than either of you could pretend it wasn’t. He leaned in a fraction more, and his breath was warm against your skin. “Maybe… that’s a risk worth taking,” he murmured, his voice now barely above a whisper.
Your heart raced, the distance between you two was practically nonexistent now. You could feel the heat of his body, his presence taking up all the space in the room. The playful teasing was gone—replaced by something far more intimate. More dangerous. His hand reached out, brushing your hair back from your face with a tenderness that had your breath catching in your throat.
Before you could respond, Kuroo's fingers slid gently down your jaw, and his thumb lightly grazed your bottom lip. The gesture was simple, but it felt like the world had stopped. The kiss was inevitable now.
Slowly, almost too slowly, he tilted his head, his lips brushing against yours in the softest, most deliberate way. The touch was electric, sending a spark of heat rushing through your veins. You were almost caught off-guard by the intensity of it, but it didn’t take long for your lips to part, inviting him closer.
His hand found the back of your neck, pulling you in deeper, as the kiss grew more urgent, more demanding. The world around you melted away, the only thing left was the heat between you two. His lips moved with a teasing confidence, making sure you felt every second of it.
His tongue lapped on your wet cave like a thirsty man that haven’t seen water in years, and the sweet taste of wine made your head spin, chasing his own tongue in a soft sucking move that drove him insane.
When he finally broke the kiss, his forehead rested against yours, both of you trying to catch your breath. His lips curled into that familiar, mischievous grin. “Guess that’s one way to make a decision,” he said, voice low and raspy.
You opened your eyes to find him watching you, eyes darkened with something more than playfulness. There was still a hint of the teasing smile on his lips, but now it was accompanied by something far more tempting.
“Yeah,” you said, your voice a little breathless, “I think I’m starting to see what you mean by chaos.”
He chuckled, his hand still on your neck, fingers tracing small, absent circles on your skin. “Well, I’m not all bad at it,” he said with a wink. Without warning, Kuroo tugged gently on your arm, pulling you toward him until you were no longer leaning back on the couch. Before you could fully process it, you were perched on his lap, straddling him with your knees on either side of his thighs, the space between you two completely gone.
For a moment, you just sat there, a little stunned by how naturally it all happened. His hands slid to your waist, holding you firmly in place as his gaze swept over you. “You look better here,” he said, his voice deep, eyes never leaving yours.
You couldn’t help but laugh, trying to hide the sudden nerves that started to bubble up in your stomach. “Well, this is a bit of an upgrade.” You gave him a teasing smile, your hands resting on his shoulders, but the tension between you was palpable now.
Kuroo’s fingers tightened just slightly on your waist, his expression turning more serious. “Better be careful. We’re both dangerously close to making some bad decisions here.”
“Are you trying to scare me off?” You tilted your head, the edge of a challenge in your tone, but deep down, you weren’t sure whether you wanted him to back off or pull you even closer.
“Nope,” Kuroo said, his lips curling into a grin as he gently tugged you even closer, your body now pressed against his. “Just making sure you know exactly what you’re getting into.”
Before you could respond, Kuroo’s lips found yours again—hungry, a little less playful this time, but just as consuming. Your body reacted immediately, the heat between you two igniting in an instant. There was no more teasing, no more games. The only thing that mattered was the feel of his lips on yours, the way his hands gripped your hips, pulling you even closer, if that was possible.
When he finally broke the kiss again, he exhaled slowly, resting his forehead against yours. “You sure you want to keep going?” he whispered, his voice low, but there was no mistaking the desire in it.
You grinned, your fingers brushing against the stubble on his jaw, the touch almost affectionate now, despite the electricity between you. “I think,” you said slowly, your lips curling into a mischievous smile, “I’m already in too deep.”
Kuroo’s eyes darkened, his grip tightening on your waist as his smirk returned, cocky and satisfied. “Good. Because I’m just getting started.”
----------------------------------------------------
The make out session felt like it went on for hours straight. Enough for Loki and Lola engross themselves in the biggest nap, both balls of fur tangled on the fluffy bed.
One of Kuroo’s hand is sliding up your thigh, his long, slender and strong fingers slightly entering the hem of your cotton shorts, squeezing the flesh in his palm. His free arm is sneaked around your waist, pushing you flush against him on the couch as he spreads his legs, making yours spread in the process.
Your hair is as messy as it can get, your cheeks are flushed, your eyes are darkened and dilated, your white dress shirt have three buttons open and is half slid down your shoulder, exposing just a teasing piece of your black lacy bra, making the cleavage a white canvas for his lips to paint with soft red marks.
In swift subtle moves, your body unconsciously grinds down on his hard erection strained through his pants, offering a delicious type of friction that sends a wave of pleasure through your bodies and is both a torment and a relief. The movement makes Kuroo groan inside your mouth, and you swallow his noises like it can feed you phisiologically speaking.
You two are like a couple of horny teenagers dry humping each other on the couch and almost completely out of it. Almost.
That’s when a couple of knocks and a door bell incessantly ringing filled both your ears. Not from your place, but from Kuroo’s. And he groans deeply.
He completely forgot the boy’s night he planned hosting with Bokuto and Kenma in his place, and he mentally curses the past Kuroo Tetsuro for his life choices. But how can he had antecipated that a cat visit to spoil Lola and Loki’s future offspring would end up in his hot neighbor straddling his lap like a five course meal?
When his phone started buzzing on your coffee table with “owl guy” on the screen, he shouted from under you a “I’m coming, damn it”, more huffed and annoyed than he would like, but he didn’t care at the moment.
The scream pacified the guy out there for now, and he collapsed his head on the crook of your neck, mumbling against your skin.
“I gotta go, apparently” — he said while placing soft kisses on your skin, trying to come down from the high and dissipate the intensity between you. You hummed, already resigned with the fate that the momentum between you ended.
“Mkay…” You said, nuzzling in his hair, breathing in the scent of his musky shampoo, trying to tattoo it on your memory. “Go before the guy out there lose his patience,”
He huffed a chuckle on your neck, making you shiver, and you proceed to desintangle yourself from his lap as he stands up. Now standing, Kuroo whistle to Loki, calling him with a soft “Come on, boy” that makes you want it was meant for you. The black cat stands up with his ears perked up, slowly walking behind Kuroo.
You two don’t bid goodbye, not feeling the need to, and the things feel even more unfinished than ever.
----------------------------------------------------
As Kuroo leaves your door, hair messy, traces of smeared pink lipstick on his lips, his jaw and his neck, ragged breath, wrinkled clothes, Bokuto’s eyes widen and he tilted his head like he’s trying to solve a puzzle.
“I…” Bokuto started, looking from his door to the door he left “Bro, did I miss your door?”
Kuroo just rolled his eyes, trying to hide a smug smile, walking torwards his door to enter, not bothering answer his question, making the owl guy let out a boisterous laugh
“Ohoho, boy’s night just got a hot topic!”
----------------------------------------------------
Kuroo’s splashed in his couch, sipping from a bottle of water, while Bokuto is sitting on the counter stool, sipping one of Kuroo’s fancy scotches, looking at Kuroo with a funny face.
“Wait, bro, let me see if I got this straight… Your cat… banged the hot neighbor’s cat.. And now you’re doing the same?” Bokuto summarized the story that Kuroo just told him.
“That… sounded… animalistic”
Bokuto snorted, nearly spilling his drink. "Oh, come on, bro. You can’t tell me it’s not poetic. It’s like… fate. Two star-crossed lovers”
Kuroo sighed, rubbing his face with one hand while reaching for his own drink with the other. “First of all, no. Don’t call it fate. Second, Loki didn’t ‘fall in love.’ He just knocked up her cat, and now I’m stuck playing awkward in-law.”
Bokuto wiggled his eyebrows. “And you accidentally ended up in a heavy make-out session with said cat’s owner?”
Kuroo shot him a deadpan look. “Yes, Bokuto. That’s exactly how it happened. I tripped and landed with my tongue in her mouth.”
Bokuto gasped, clutching his chest dramatically. “That’s insane! How’d you even keep your balance?”
Kuroo exhaled through his nose, dragging a hand down his face. “I hate you.”
Kenma, who had been half-listening while scrolling through his phone, finally spoke up from the other end of the couch, locking the phone and tossing on the coffee table. “So, are you actually into her, or was this just the wine?”
Kuroo opened his mouth, then closed it. A beat passed. Then another.
Bokuto leaned forward like he could smell the hesitation. “Ohhh, you like her.”
Kuroo groaned, tilting his head back against the couch. “I never said that.”
Kenma didn’t even glance up from his phone. “You didn’t have to.”
Bokuto grinned wildly. “Dude, you totally do. You’ve been all ‘hot neighbor this, hot neighbor that’ for months, and now you’re sitting here, looking like you just crawled out of a romance novel—messy hair, lipstick all over you, breathing like you ran a marathon—”
“Alright,” Kuroo cut in, pointing a warning finger. “I met her yesterday. There’s nothing there. We’re done with this conversation.”
Kuroo rolled his eyes at the topic, but his mind was already back at your place, back to the way you felt on his lap, the taste of wine lingering between kisses, and the way your fingers had tangled in his hair like you belonged there.
Yeah, he was screwed.
Bokuto smirked behind his glass. “You know that’s sus, bro. You never not wanna talk about the girls you hook up, sometimes you even share too much for our ears sake. And now you’re done with this conversation? Weird as hell. Are you high on catnip or something?”
Kuroo scoffed, taking a slow sip of his water, trying to ignore the way his ears burned at Bokuto’s words. “I just don’t feel like giving you two a play-by-play of my night, alright? Not everything is meant for your entertainment.”
Bokuto gasped dramatically, pressing a hand to his chest. “Kuroo Tetsuro, keeping a secret? Scandalous.”
Kenma hummed, eyes narrowingskeptically. “It’s either serious or embarrassing. Either way, he’s hiding something.”
Kuroo groaned, running a hand through his already-messy hair. “Oh my god, can we talk about something else?”
Bokuto, ignoring him completely, turned to Kenma. “Serious and embarrassing is my guess. I mean, look at him—he’s got that ‘I just realized I have a crush’ face.”
Kenma finally looked up, golden eyes scanning Kuroo for a long, quiet second. Then, with the precision of a seasoned gamer landing a final headshot, he muttered with a smug smile, “You’re overthinking it already, aren’t you?”
Kuroo opened his mouth, but no words came out. His jaw tightened.
Bokuto’s grin widened. “Ohhh, he is.”
Kuroo scowled, sinking deeper into the couch. He hated how well they knew him. He hated even more that they weren’t wrong. His brain had been stuck replaying the feel of you against him, the way your breath had hitched when he’d gripped your thigh, the way your lips had parted right before he kissed you again— everything seemingly so physical and superficial, but there’s a deepth he’s not familiar with in the slightest. Is it the cat connection? Is it because you two shared too much right before the make out session and he realized how you’re a mix of smart, successful, hardworking, independent and authentic wrapped up in devastatingly hot body and pretty face?.
Shit.
He needed to get a grip.
With a sigh, he grabbed the scotch glass from Bokuto’s hand and took a sip himself. “I swear, you two have way too much time on your hands.”
Bokuto just wiggled his eyebrows. “And you have a hot neighbor on your hands.”
Kenma smirked slightly, going back to his phone. “This is gonna be fun to watch.”
Kuroo exhaled sharply, rubbing a hand down his face. “I hate both of you.”
Bokuto just laughed, spinning the empty glass in his hands. “Nah, you love us. Just like you looove—”
“Finish that sentence and I’m throwing you off my balcony.”
Bokuto made a show of zipping his lips but kept grinning like he’d already won. And, honestly, maybe he had.
Because Kuroo was distracted. He was so distracted.
Even as Kenma and Bokuto bickered about what game to play next, his mind kept drifting back—to your place, to the taste of wine and heat on your lips, to the way your fingers had tugged at his hair like you needed him.
It was supposed to be a casual thing. Just some alcohol-induced fun. That’s what he’d told himself when he went for the kiss. But the way his body was still thrumming with leftover electricity and his mind was yearning for a deeper connection told a different story.
And the worst part?
He wanted more.
A lot more.
With a quiet groan, he tipped his head back against the couch, staring at the ceiling like it held all the answers. Maybe he really was screwed.
Kenma’s voice pulled him back to the present. “So, when are you seeing her again?”
Kuroo scoffed, grabbing his phone from the coffee table. “I don’t know. Whenever Loki and I happen to bump into her, I guess.”
Bokuto snorted. “Dude, your cat is literally dating her cat. You have the perfect excuse.”
Kuroo glared at him, but his fingers hovered over your name in his messages. Should he text you? Would that be weird? Too soon? Too obvious?
Before he could overthink it, his phone vibrated with a new message.
Kitten Lady: Hey, I was thinking about making some arrangements in the kittens corner tomorrow. Wanna come help me with it?
Kuroo blinked, rereading the text. A slow smirk spread across his lips.
Kenma, eyebrows widden in a stunned expression, muttered, “He’s smiling. This is worse than I thought.”
Bokuto clapped his hands together. “Boys, we have a situation!”

Taking care of Kuroo after a long day at work
[ Timeskip Kuroo x Reader ]
Content: Fluff and a bit of smut
———
The sound of the front door clicking shut was followed by a heavy sigh. Kuroo dropped his bag by the entrance, rolling his shoulders as he toed off his shoes. You didn’t even have to look up from the couch to know how exhausted he was—his usual cocky energy had dimmed, replaced by sluggish movements and a tension in his posture that made your heart ache.
“Tough day?” you asked, setting your phone aside as he shuffled toward you.
Kuroo huffed, running a hand through his already messy hair before flopping onto the couch beside you. “You have no idea.”
You smiled softly, reaching up to push his bangs back from his forehead. “Wanna talk about it?”
He groaned, leaning into your touch like a cat seeking warmth. “Not really. Just wanna sit here. With you.”
Your fingers traced soothing patterns against his scalp, and he sighed again—this time, less frustrated, more relaxed. Slowly, he sank further into you, until his head was resting in your lap.
“You’re really letting me baby you today, huh?” you teased, scratching gently at his scalp.
His eyes flickered open just enough to give you a lazy smirk. “You like it.”
You rolled your eyes but didn’t deny it. Moments like this, where he let down his guard and let himself need you, made your heart swell.
“Stay here,” you murmured, pressing a kiss to his forehead before gently lifting his head off your lap.
He groaned at the loss of contact but didn’t protest. “Where you goin’?”
“To run you a bath,” you called over your shoulder. “You’ll feel better after.”
By the time you finished setting up the warm water, adding in a bit of soap that smelled like cedarwood and citrus (his scent), Kuroo had already shuffled into the bathroom, leaning lazily against the doorframe.
“You’re spoiling me,” he murmured, voice low as his tired eyes drank you in.
You stepped closer, reaching up to tug at his tie, loosening it before slipping it from his collar. “You deserve it.”
His Adam’s apple bobbed as he swallowed, watching you with something softer, deeper than his usual teasing. He let you work in silence, unbuttoning his dress shirt, pushing it off his shoulders, running your fingertips along the tense muscles of his back.
The shift in atmosphere was slow but unmistakable.
His hands found your hips, sliding beneath the fabric of your shirt, warm palms against your skin.
“You take such good care of me,” he murmured, pressing a kiss just below your ear.
You shivered, fingers pausing against his belt buckle. “Someone has to,” you teased, though your voice was already breathier than before.
Kuroo chuckled, low and rough. “That so?” His lips trailed lower, grazing over your jaw before capturing your mouth in a slow, lingering kiss. It wasn’t rushed—no, he was savoring it, tasting you, melting into you after a long, exhausting day.
Kuroo kissed you like he was making up for lost time. Slow, deep, and a little desperate. His hands slid beneath your shirt, fingers splaying across your back as he pulled you closer, pressing his body flush against yours. The heat from his skin seeped into you, a stark contrast to the cool air of the bathroom.
“You always know how to take care of me,” he murmured against your lips, voice thick with exhaustion and something darker, heavier.
Your fingers fumbled with his belt, undoing the buckle as he let out a low chuckle. “Impatient?”
You shot him a look, tugging it free in one swift motion. “Says the one who couldn’t even wait until after his bath.”
Kuroo smirked, hands gripping your waist as he backed you up against the bathroom counter. “Can you blame me?” he murmured, dipping his head to press open-mouthed kisses along your neck. “Long day… missed you…”
His voice sent a shiver down your spine, and your hands instinctively found their way to his hair, threading through the dark strands as he sucked gently at your pulse.
“You should let me take care of you,” you whispered, letting your hands wander lower, trailing over his toned stomach, dipping beneath the waistband of his pants.
Kuroo’s breath hitched, and for a second, he hesitated—like he wasn’t used to letting someone else be in control. But then he exhaled, leaning against the counter, letting his head fall back as he gave you everything.
“Yeah?” he rasped, eyes hooded, lips slightly parted. “Then take care of me, baby.”
And who were you to say no to that?

𝐊𝐔𝐑𝐎𝐎 𝐓𝐄𝐓𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐎 is a very busy man. being a sport promoter is a hard-working job in terms of schedule — having to find various endearing sport events and sponsors who will agree to take part and finance these social event — which consumes a lot of time and humain energy.
and while tetsuro is grateful for the way you support and understand that his work takes a lot of him he still feels guilty for leaving you alone most of the time — especially now that you’re six months pregnant with his son.
over the last couple of weeks your husband and his coworkers started working on a very special sporting event, the ‘FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships’, the double-gender world championship of beach volleyball. despite this championship being in a bit more than a year it is by far the most important worldwide volleyball event happening in the following year.
which is why testuro has been working harder during the last few days, his schedule being filled with meetings to discuss with a bunch of different sponsors — on who gets to sponsor what.
so when tetsuro finds himself having a ten minutes break between two meeting he immediatly turns on his phone, checking for any texts or missed calls from you — to which he does find a few texts.
wifey ♡ babe babyyy testsuro !! pls reply as soon as you can :(
tetsu •ᴗ• sweetheart is everything okay  ? are you hurt ? fuck did you burn the house down ? wifey ♡ babyyyy yuh uh everything is fine !! and i only burnt homemade caramel once :( i just can’t write it over text… call me !!!
the raven-haired man stands up from his seat, excusing himself as he pushes the nearest door open with one hand, the fingers of his free hand swiftly tapping over his phone’s screen as he clicks on your contact id — dialing your number. he then places his phone over his ear, leaning his back against the wall behind him as he waits for you to pick up the phone.
as soon as tetsuro hears some shuffle from the other line of his phone he speaks up, not even letting you greet him properly. “sweetie, is there a problem ?” his tone is worried as he waits for your answer, hoping that everything is fine — that you’re alright.
“tetsu—” you start before letting out a laugh, which kinda helps your husband calm down for a bit. “i told you that everything is fine, you don’t have to worry”
on the other end of the phone you can’t help but smile at your husband’s worry for you, which doesn’t fail to make you remember how much he cares about — something that only increased as soon as the first symptoms of your pregnancy appeared. “what is it then ?” tetsuro’s booming voice immediatly brings you back to earth. “it’s just. . . i have a brilliant idea !” you joyfully tell him. the raven-haired man pauses at your exclamation, searching for any guesses of what that idea might be. . . until a grin appears on his face as he finally comes to realization. “is it another wild craving of yours, princess ?” he lets out a chuckle at your answer, laughing to himself as he hears you sigh from the other line of his phone. “my cravings aren’t weird !” you protest, the pout on your lips evident in your tone, which makes your husband’s grin even wider. “so, i’m craving nachos—” you say before the raven-haired man cuts your sentence mid-way. “oh, from which place do you want it babe ? i can get it delivered at home—”
“no ! i want sweet nachos.” you state, a huff leaving your lips.
your husband stands there, a dumbfounded expression written all over his face as he stares ahead of himself, his brain malfunctioning due to your words. any of his coworkers who would pass by would think that something is wrong with him, like he just heard one of the dumbest things on earth — which he kinda did. “sweet nachos— angel that’s not even a thing !”
“but it is a thing since i just invented it !" you exclaim, your voice full of confidence — as if you didn’t imagine the weirdest ‘dish’ in the whole word. "the base is made of chips — not any kind tho, only the original pringles — with a bunch of m&m’s, reese’s, chocolate syrup and whipped cream.” you say, taking the time to explain this whole snack of yours in details. "whipped cream as to be on top of the chips and in a small cup on the side, okay ?"
tetsuro licks his lips as he notes all of the needed ingredients in his minds, shrugging his shoulders before realizing that you can’t see him and speaking up. "yeah, sure. do i need to stop by the grocery store to get the ingredients or nah ?" he asks, which you answer with a simple ‘yes’. He hangs up the phone a few seconds later — after kissing you goodbye through the phone of course — and steps back inside the building for his last meeting of the day.
when your husband finally exits his work building — by 8:45pm exactly — he walks to his car, a white Mercedes-Benz CLE 200 Cabriolet. he opens the front door for himself, dropping all of his papers on the passenger seat next to him. he turns on his car, pressing on a button — making the roof of the convertible disappear inside of the trunk.
after about twenty minutes — and a stop at the grocery store — tetsuro finally parks his car in front of your shared house. he steps out of the car, a brown paper bag in one hand and his stack of papers in the other, a sigh leaving his lips as he pushes onto the front door’s handle, entering your residence.
“i’m home, sweetheart !” your husband calls out to you, taking his shoes off and walking towards the living room.
he smiles as he sees you laying on the couch, your head propped on one of your arms as you watch ‘from up on poppy hill’. he chuckles softly at the sight in front of him, placing his papers on the coffee table and bending over to get a proper look at your face. you glance up at his face when you finally notice his presence. you immediatly lift you head off your arm, a smile making it’s way on your lips as you sit up on the couch, puckering your lips for the raven-haired man to kiss you, which he glady does.
“how was work, baby ?” you ask him, looking up at him while slightly tilting your head to the side. “there’s a some oyakodon and rice in the kitchen that you can heat up in the microwave and the pan.”
“god, princess, i’m gonna wife you up again. . .” tetsuro mutters, resting his forehead against yours before placing a tender kiss on your lips.
he breaks up the kiss and stands up, affectionately flickering your forehead before walking back to the kitchen, turning the lights on. tetsuro notices the bowl of rice on the counter and grabs it, placing it next to the pan. he tears a bit of paper towel with his fingers, damping it with some water before placing it over the bowl. he turns on the microvage, putting the rice to reheat. your husband smiles when he sees the oyakodon heating in the pan on low heat before turning it higher.
he sighs, rolling up the sleeves of his white shirt onto his biceps before turning to the paper bag with the groceries he did ealier. once all of your craving’s ingredients are — finally — placed in front of him, tetsuro can start preparing your snack.
he opens the tub of unflavored pringles before placing some chips onto a plate, some whipped cream on top along with chocolate syrup before scattering m&m’s and reese’s on top of everything. he grabs a small cup, pouring some whipped cream inside.
when the time alarm goes off your husband opens the microwage, carefully grabing the rice cowl — without burning himself — before taking the damp paper off the top of the bowl. He moves the pan off the heat, pouring the runny mixture on top of the white rice that he garnishes with green onion, sesame seeds and a bit of togarashi.
in a swift move tetsuro snatches a pair of chopsticks, placing them between his fingers before grabbing both his bowl and your plate, tuning the lights off before walking towards the living room.
“here you go, sweetheart.” he tells you, handing you your plate while you thank him, your bright smile making your eyes squint and your head tilt.
you slide off the couch, now sitting on the floor as you place a pillow under your ass and behind your back, putting your plate on the coffee table in front of you. tetsuro slips down on the floor next to you, slightly bending his upper-body above the table, gathering some of his food between his chopsticks and taking a bite out of it.
you squeal as you takes one of the chips between your fingers, shoving it inside of your mouth. you can’t help the sigh of contentement leaving your lips at the salty and sweet taste you’ve been craving all day. You take another one, doing a small dance of happiness.
“i gotta say, princess, your food taste was already strange, but now ?” tetsuro says, whistling, only for you to slap the back of his head, a huff leaving your lips as a pout tugs at your lips, only for it to be wiped away by your husband’s lips on yours, to which you gladly kiss him back.

⍣ ೋ something about you. t.kuroo
Tumblr media
nsfw content! (fem reader!) time skip haikyuu!
every friday nights for kuroo was the best nights for him. after all he was a sports promoter so his job was stressful enough. so what did kuroo tetsuro do every friday nights? he would go to your job. you worked as a stripper, the most favorited girl there. and kuroo admired that about you. so he was surprised when you and him started hitting it off. a few lap dances, going out with each other, him giving you money and sending you money. and private rooms when he visits the strip club. but never sex! well until now.
so here we were sitting on the velvet couch, the lights dimmed down and a coffee table in front of him. you sitting next to him, your hands on his lap and his arm around you’re waist. him listening to you as you vent out your feelings. kuroo knew what he was doing. making you vent to him cause he wanted to get intimate with you after. so his plan was working so far.
“fuck your coworker.. she a hating ass hoe” he shook his head in disagreement. he looked over at you, his hand going to your cheek and caressing it softly. “you know that your amazing.. don’t you, doll?” he was charming and you fell for his trap. “thank you tetsuro” you softly smiled. oh how he loves when you call him by his first name.
“how about I get all these things off your mind hm?” his hand traveling up your exposed thighs. he really couldn’t keep his hands off of you. especially the outfit you were wearing, a black lingerie with fishnets and some red bottom heels that one of your customers bought you. you bit your lip and nodded. “please” you whispered lowly. you were desperate, horny and overall stressed and so was kuroo, which only made the vibe even more strong between the both of you. “let me fuck your guts out, baby” he whispered in your ear. you felt the middle of your legs get heated. you quickly nodded as he pulled you on top of him making you straddle his lap.
you both are making out, his hands roaming around your body as his hand stops at your ass. your arms are wrapped around his neck. as the kiss drifted away and kuroo kissing down your neck and sucking on it.
next thing you knew you were on all fours as kuroo was behind you plumping his cock in his hand. he then moved your panties to side and ripped your fishnets apart making your eyes widened. “hey! those were my favorite!” you said. “i’ll buy you more, baby” he groaned as he slapped your ass making you squeal.
“are you ready?..” he asked you. “mhm” you bit your lip and nodded your head. you were nervous this was the first time you let any of your costumers. but kuroo.. it was something about him that made your pussy throb for him. he slowly entered his mushroom tip in your pussy making you arch your back.
you felt a whimper escape your lips. he was big and you knew it. he slowly pushed his full length in your gummy walls. he couldn’t believe the feeling of your tight pussy. he knew he was already hooked as the way you squeezed him. he bit down his moan. “move kuroo.. p-please” you begged him. his ego boosted and started slamming his hips against yours. usually he would try and be gentle but your pussy got him so excited that he couldn’t wait.
the noises your pussy made, glistening and gushing was driving him crazy. your loud moans filling the room along with the slapping skin. “o-oh fuck! fuck fuck!” you whined out from his cock kissing your cervix. “you like that, baby?” he said out of breath as he slapped your ass.
“y-yeah tetsu!” you moaned out. he smirked and kept pounding into you relentlessly. you never had a cock like this in your life. so obviously you were hooked on his. you wish you could’ve done this sooner.
he pulled you hair pulling your head up, making you look at the mirror in front of you both. him behind you pounding into you and your face was smeared with your makeup already. “look how beautiful you look” he whispered in your ear. your eyes rolled back making kuroo chuckle lowly. he let go of your hair stuffing your face into the couch pillows and pounding into you faster. making you scream and moan.
“c-cum for me babygirl.” he moaned deeply. “cmon cum for me babydoll. cum on this cock!” he traveled his hand down to your clit and started rubbing it in circular motions making you want to cum even faster.
“I-i’m! cumming kuroo!” you screamed and whined as he felt your walls tightening his cock making him reach his limit as well. “yeah? cum on this cock” he slapped your ass again and suddenly felt your hot cum coating his cock as you cried in pleasure. “s-so fucking good f’me doll!”
yeah there was something about you that got him hooked from this hookup.

Tumblr media
Ever since becoming an official volleyball coach, Tetsuro hasn’t been taking care of himself as well as he should. You hated seeing him in this fatigued state, but you loved taking care of him and getting to be there for him at the end of every long day. It’s routine to have dinner prepared for your boyfriend once he got home, and you waited like a puppy for the door lock to click and see the man you loved so much come through the door.
“Hi my baby,” You said softly as you hugged him, burying your nose in his collarbone. He chuckled and hugged you back, arms around your waist like a protective cape.
You grabbed his bag from him and guided him to the couch. He sat down with a heavy sigh and kicked his feet up. You brought dinner to him and he thanked you gratefully. You watched him eat, although it was very slow. By the time he said he was finished, he hadn’t even eaten half of his plate.
“What’s wrong, Tetsu?” You asked him, motioning to his plate. “Is it not good?” He smiled warmly and innocently at you.
“No, it’s good babe. I promise. I’m just not very hungry tonight.” You nodded in understanding and scraped his plate as he trudged off to your room.
It had been about ten minutes and the house was silent, you wondered what your boyfriend was doing. You scurried to your room, about to say something, when you realized Kuroo was fast asleep, quietly snoring. He hadn’t taken off his day clothes.
Nights like these continued for a few weeks. You knew you had to say something, say that this wasn’t normal, but was it really your place to speak? What if he got mad at you? You quickly got rid of your doubts and decided that today was the day: you were going to put Kuroo in his place. His soft, comfortable, caring place.
When he got home, he flopped onto the couch. You hadn’t said anything yet. Just as he was about to fall asleep, you walked over to him.
“Kuroo, we need to talk.” His eyes shot open and he sat up.
“About what? Are you okay? Did I do something wrong?” He flooded the quiet room with worried questions.
“No.. well— yeah… kinda?” You were completely unsure of what to say or do.
“Tell me, babe. What’s goin’ on?” You sighed, bracing yourself.
“I’m super worried, Tetsu. About you. You haven’t been eating or socializing with anyone but your players, you’re coming home late, you’re sleeping a bunch… It’s like… you seem exhausted. Are you exhausted?” Kuroo had a puzzled look on his face.
“Am I exhausted?” He repeated your question. “Well.. I mean, kinda. But I’m okay, really! It’s no big deal. I’ll be fine.” You shook your head, confusing the man even more.
“I think you’re overworking yourself, Tetsu.” He smiled and placed a hand on your knee.
“Don’t worry about me, okay? I’ll be alright.” Again, you shook your head.
“No, no no no. We’re not doing this. I know you’re overworking yourself. You need to stop before you get overly stressed.” Kuroo was surprised at your dominance.
“I mean… I guess I have just a tiny bit.. I can try to st—“
“Not try, you will.” You interrupted him. He chuckled.
“Okay my love, I will stop overworking myself. I didn’t realize I had, but you’re right; I am. I’m sorry for worrying you.”
“That’s my boy,” You grinned as you brought him into a hug. He layed back on the couch, pulling you on top of him.

They have their own room with their favorite color (kuroo took HOURS to decorate them and make them good)
Brings the two to get ice cream often😭
Probably brings them to parks and his friends volleyball matches
His friends loves them :) (not the Drake way)
ESPECIALLY HINATA AND KENMA(SURPRISINGLY?!)
Made your kids called Kenma their uncle!! (Lowkey Kenma felt proud)
Honestly didn’t want to watch the kids grow up,he loved them running around the house.
OH YEAH!! The girls first word was papa and the boy was “mama” LMFAO
Always gives the best surprise to your kids, your kids loves your dad and Kuroo loves them too <333
BUTT when they were teenagers !! (13)
The type to say “no girlfriends or boyfriends till your 30”
“Dad,what the hell” THATS ALL HE GOT IN RESPOND
The type to also say “back in my days!!😔”
Whenever your not home, probably eats the most unhealthiest shit ever with them
Probably owns a “best dad ever shirt” AND A FUCKING MUG
The type to make dad jokes 👎
Probably tells his son about his teenage years in secret since his daughter probably does not gaf
Your son is probably more calm and mature but has a silly side and your daughter has a more bold and silly girl in general yk?
Leaves the daughter to you once she hits puberty yk? Girls girls <3
Probably practice volleyball with the two often!
Whenever Kuroo brought some stuff home from groceries and your kids try them and say like “oh ! This js pretty good dad!”
Next day,he buys PACKS of them 💀
When you guys were just all in the living room together he randomly mentioned how hard it was to ask you out on the date
And your daughter went like “of course dad, your a literal loser and mom is a literal goddess”
Your son calmly agreed 💀
He was SO OFFENDED!!
He would still pick them up even when they are in middle school,he sometimes would drive them to school!
Probably might not be the most emotional support father but he tries his best! <3
Literally would beat up that person if they ever make fun of your kid 💀
Goes on morning runs with your son whenever he can
Your kid still love their “uncle” kenma LMFAO
And your so glad kuroo gets along really well with your kids <3
Oh god you just love them 😭

on her first day in her chemistry class, everyone is assigned a lab partner and she just so happens to be paired up with Kuroo
at first, he seems weird and a little cocky
she soon finds out that Kuroo has a good reason to be. he's incredible at chemistry; its like second nature to him
he would try to find her during the lecture that paired with the lab. after spotting her in her usual seat, he would slide into the row behind her and tap her on the shoulder. Kuroo would make it a point to sit there every week and slide her notes during lecture
if she fell asleep, he would take notes for her and make a copy to give to her the next time they met
when he realizes that he likes his lab partner's company, he would drag things out. he would try to be the last group to leave the lab, just so he could get some alone time with her
if she isn't good at chemistry, Kuroo would be incredibly patient. offering to tutor her outside of class, when it was really just an excuse to spend more time with her. he would make sure that he executed every aspect of the lab perfectly, ensuring that she got good grades too
if she is good at chemistry, he would compete with her. he'd try to do more during lab, insisting that he had the experience when they were both in their second semester of college. Kuroo would make terrible chemistry puns at her and cackle at his own jokes even if she didn't laugh
he would ask for her number under the guise of helping each other with the lab reports.
Kuroo insists on working on the lab report together, even though they are graded separately. he just wants an excuse to spend more time with her.
while reactions ran, Kuroo would chat with her about anything under the sun. if they were doing pcr or waiting for a gel to finish running, he would lose track of time while talking to her.
if they were doing something a little more hands on, Kuroo would hover around her.
if her hands were full and her safety glasses began sliding down her face, Kuroo would carefully push them up with the clean part of his glove
run out of pipette tips? he's already got a new box
cant get the clamps to close? his hands are over hers, all too eager to help.
need new samples to run in the spectrophotometer? he's already started cleaning the cuvette and loading the next sample
cant get the data to show results? Kuroo would send a spreadsheet of all his excel data with little notes to help her understand his work
on the last day of lab, Kuroo would wish her luck on finals in the most nerdy way possible: by giving her a note that corresponded with elements on the periodic table for her to decipher
university has a funny way of bringing people together and pushing them apart, and he didn't want to risk falling out of her company. he wanted to make his feelings known, just in case they never saw each other again
he's well aware of how nerdy and lame he's being, but he says it anyways
Kuroo confesses with a drawing of a heart around a water molecule, saying, "it's kind of like us, we're covalently bonded"

"This is the coffee shop that I was telling you about," Kuroo gestured towards a small building that seemed to have a theme of dark academia and books.
The cafe didn't seem all that bad, you thought. It would be the perfect place to study before a huge exam, the tall windows which showed the beautiful inside were not forgettable.
"It looks so pretty. Do you come here often after class?" You questioned as the little bell rang when Kuroo held open the door for you. A wondrous smell of coffee, books, and spice wafted into your nose. It could have been a bit overwhelming if you hadn't loved the scent.
It almost brings you to your favorite season of them all, which is definitely autumn.
"No, only once in a while. This place is kind of pricey, but it gives good beverages and great seats." Kuroo chuckled, looking down at you as you scoured the menu. There were definitely a lot of choices to choose from and yet you still didn’t know what to pick.
"See anything you like?" He asked as you guys stood off to the side – by the entry way that had a lot of books nearby.
"Hm, I think I would like to try the toffee crunch espresso? It seems good." You pondered on that, not really liking coffee but love to try different kinds once in a while.
"Sounds great. You go pick a seat for us and I'll get our orders." He patted your head and slightly pushed your forward a bit in case you decided to protest on the matter.
You rolled your eyes a bit at that but looked across the cafe to see where you wanted to sit. Eventually you decided on the floral printed sofa that had an antique wooden table to set the drinks on. This place was definitely one for the books.
Kuroo soon came back with the drinks and taking that first sip was always magical – until it gave you the shits later.
"Thank you for this. You didn't have to buy it for me, you know." You made a point at that, even though he knew that too. Your parents still give you an allowance, especially now more than ever too. They don't want you working your ass off in college at a dead-end job when you could be focusing on studies.
"I know, little one. But you're my favorite non-biological sister, so why wouldn't I?" He remarked, sipping his drink as the warmth fogged up his reading glasses that he only wears occasionally.
Your heart strings tugged at the nickname Kuroo used for you.
He had given you that name when you were very young and needed help on something so small at the time that your parents thought it was huge – your writing skills.
"So, you have other not favorite non-biological sisters?" You snorted, as that sounded weird coming from your mouth.
"Yeah, yeah." He waved you off, rolling his eyes at your dumb question.
"Okay, so, when can I move in? I was kind of wondering why we aren't there now and instead at a coffee shop." You raised an eyebrow at that. It was kind of weird Kuroo wasn't showing you where you were going to live for the next four years.
"Well, there is something I was supposed to tell you about, but in all honesty, I kind of forgot."
You urged him to go on.
"So, I have a roommate too. His name is Kenma and he's super chill and goes to uni with me and I've known him since we were young." He spit out all at once, leaving you stunned.
"A roommate? How old is he? I mean, I haven't met him. What if he kills me in my sleep, Tetsu?" You can't possibly move in with Kuroo and his roommate that you don't even know! That's just crazy work, he was trying to get you killed.
"I promise Kenma is a good guy. He likes video games and cats. He used to play volleyball with me in high school. Like I've known him forever, there won't be anything to worry about!" He tried to reassure you. Tetsuro had promised your parents that he'd take extra special care of you once you got accepted into his university.
And right now, he hoped that you would look past not knowing Kenma very well and agree. It never really came up in the past letters about Kuroo’s social life – probably because of the age difference. Not only that but your parents had monitored all of your letter conversations till they got you a phone.
"I mean... I guess it's fine," You trailed off a bit, wanting more time to think on it but then again, he's right in front of you. And Kuroo would never purposefully put you in danger, he's not like that. You’ve known him since you were in primary too.
Kuroo blew a sigh of relief, "Great! I swear it will all be fine. Want to go look around a bit? I can show you some good places around this town, so you'll be more familiar with it once you move."
You sipped your coffee, now bitter in your mouth – from how long it sat there untouched or from the conversation? You don't know.
"Yeah, that's a good idea. I don't want to not know where a gas station is and have to pull over on the side of the road and a stranger kidnap and kill me." You got up from the cushioned couch to stretch a bit before leaving.
"Did someone make you watch a scary movie lately? You sure are being a bit weird, little one." He chuckled as if it was funny. You're deathly scared of gory, horror movies.
"As if, this is just my regular morbid self." You laughed, exiting the cafe and taking in the scenery of the streets. It wasn't a bad town at all. It looked kind of magical like it came out of a movie or something.
After a bit of sight-seeing, you gathered that there were a lot of thrifting shops, coffee places, a public library and even different kinds of food areas that you'd definitely be trying out once you move.
Your feet started to hurt but you wouldn't tell Kuroo that, he'd make fun of you for being such a big baby.
So, you decided on, "Tell me more about Kenma? I'm still a bit nervous of actually moving in with a stranger I've only heard stories of."
"I'm not sure what to say. He's a year younger than me, Christmas is his favorite holiday, and he's started a small YouTube channel a bit ago."
He saw the look on your face and then added, "He knows you're moving in; it'll all be okay. Save the worries for your new classes, okay?" He ruffled your head, effectively messing up your hair that you worked hard on this morning.
"Agh, stop," You pulled his hand away, "You're annoying." You scoffed at him as you guys arrived at your small car.
This beauty has gotten you through senior year and you're just praying she'll get you through this year of college. It was a red VW convertible that your parents graciously gave you on your 18th birthday.
You had decked her out with plenty of red accessories and most of which were strawberry or hello kitty themed. What can you say? You're just a girl after all.
"Thanks for the day Tetsu, it was really nice. I'm feeling a bit better about moving here." You give him a genuine smile as you unlock your car door.
"Anytime for you, little one." He reached over to give you a squeezing hug and then released you.
"I'll see you soon then, bye!" You waved once you were buckled in your cute little car. Kuroo gave you a huge wave and a smile goodbye.
As you were driving back home, you couldn't help but to roll your windows down and let the air flow through your hair. At a red light, you connected your phone to the car and started playing your favorite song.
A man crossed the road, you couldn't help but to stare at his outfit. Who in the hell wears a hoodie and sweatpants in the summer? Granted, it was the end of summer, so the heat was slowly fleeting but just barely.
As if he heard you, his head snapped up, locking eyes with yours. His strange golden ones felt like they could have pierced your soul with how hard the expression on his face was. Even with the windows down, in the summer heat, you managed to shiver just from him.
As you drove by, you couldn't get the image out of your mind nor the feeling off your skin. You hoped it maybe was the music that had perhaps made that man stare you down in the middle of the crosswalk.
You turned the music up a little louder, hoping to drown the thoughts out and letting the wind send a different type of chills down your back.
. . .
On the long drive home, you couldn't help your mind from wandering to when you had your first encounter with Kuroo. You had maybe been no older than nine or ten. You remember your parents sitting you down at the kitchen table with serious looks on their faces that had you worried.
They had told you that they had been concerned about the way you had been writing your past few school assignments. However, those couldn't have been not much longer than a paragraph or two, so you didn't really understand.
Anyways, that's when they signed up for a program to help you connect with another grade schooler to improve your writing skills. You had been excited to use the many pretty stationary that your parents had gifted you to get you into writing.
You soon had met a junior high version of Kuroo -- through pen pal letters of course. He had introduced himself and mostly asked about you and gave you tips to correct your writing. And then, well, the rest is history.
Not to mention that you definitely kept all of the letters that Kuroo had sent to you as memories.
As the years blended away, you finally got your first phone when you reached your last year in junior high! That was Kuroo's third year too and after the long wait of your letter sending through the mail with the excitement of your new phone, you finally got a message back.
That is when you both decided to meet up in person, conventionally it was right after Kuroo had a match and won it that same day. It's safe to say that he was exceptionally happy to win a match with his team and meet his pen pal sister.
You still remember cringing away from him trying to give you a hug because you both just now met up in person, but he did just win a match. Over the course of your high school years, he would occasionally come back on breaks from university and take you out for ice cream or help with your science homework.
Kuroo was like the big brother you never got, and you were like the little sister he always wished for. It was the perfect duo.
You wish you could have recorded his face once you facetimed him about being accepted into his college. That was the day that he had sworn to your parents that he'd take excellent care of you if you decided to go there with him.
Safe to say, your parents loved and trusted Kuroo.
You couldn't help but to smile at all the delightful memories that ran through your head. 'It'll be weird for a bit, but I'll have my bro Kuroo, so it'll be fine' you thought to yourself, pulling into the driveway of your house.
Maybe it all would be okay.
synopsis: it's the summer before you go to university, and you decide to become roommates with your pen pal that you've known since you were in primary. big problem arises, he's got a roommate, and it just so happens that his roommate either has a sexual want for you or hates your guts – or probably both?

Rivals: Kuroo
Tension crackled in the air like a live wire as you strode through the halls of the Japan Volleyball Association, your heels clicking against the polished floors with sharp precision. Every step carried purpose, controlled and deliberate, but anyone who knew you well enough would recognize the storm brewing beneath the surface.
Clutching the latest stack of paperwork in one hand, you pushed open the glass door to Kuroo Tetsurou’s office with a level of force that was just shy of inappropriate. You were a professional, after all. Barging in wouldn’t do—but making a statement? That was entirely different.
Kuroo was at his desk, leaning back in his chair with an almost bored amusement, as if he had been expecting you. His sleeves were rolled up, exposing the defined lines of his forearms, and his tie was slightly loosened, the very picture of a man who thrived in controlled chaos. He barely even blinked when you entered.
“Ah, Legal finally graces me with their presence,” he mused, setting his pen down atop an open document. “Didn’t expect you so soon. Usually, you let the frustration simmer a little longer before storming in.”
You inhaled sharply through your nose, pressing the papers down onto his desk with more force than necessary. “I am not signing off on this.”
Kuroo barely glanced at the document before flicking his gaze back up to you, an infuriatingly lazy smirk tugging at the corners of his mouth. “Which part?”
You crossed your arms. “The part where you once again try to push through a sponsorship campaign that violates endorsement regulations, misleads consumers, and—oh—could land the association in serious legal trouble.”
He exhaled dramatically, tapping his fingers against the desk as if deeply inconvenienced. “That’s a lot of negativity, don’t you think? Maybe try looking at the bigger picture.”
You scoffed. “The bigger picture? Kuroo, the bigger picture is that I keep having to drag you back from launching ideas that would get us fined, sued, or—if we’re lucky—just scolded by compliance.
Kuroo chuckled, stretching his arms above his head before fixing you with a look that bordered on scandalous. “You just love dragging me, don’t you?”
Your jaw clenched. “Don’t flatter yourself.”
“I wouldn’t dream of it,” he said smoothly, pushing himself up from his chair. The sudden shift in proximity sent a subtle prickle down your spine, but you didn’t move. He reached for the document you’d slammed down, flipping through it leisurely, clearly unbothered. “So what you’re saying is, if I tweak the wording…”
You narrowed your eyes. “If you tweak the wording, I’ll still reject it. It’s not just semantics, Kuroo. It’s about following the rules.”
His lips curled at the edges, sharp and teasing. “I think we both know I prefer to toe the line.”
You let out a sharp exhale, trying to ignore the way your heart beat just a little faster. This was the problem with him. He made everything a game, a cat-and-mouse dance where he got off on pushing boundaries just to see you react.
“I’ll tell you what,” he continued, placing the proposal down and leaning against the desk, arms crossed over his chest. “I’ll revise the proposal—to your unbearably strict standards—”
“How generous.”
“—if you grab drinks with me after work.”
Your grip tightened around your arms, heat creeping up your neck. “I’d rather spend my evening rewriting Japan’s entire corporate compliance manual.”
Kuroo let out a low chuckle, his eyes flickering with uncontained amusement, but there was something else there too—something deliberately slow, measured, almost sultry. He tilted his head slightly, letting his voice drop just a fraction as he said, "That’s a shame. I think you’d find our conversations much more stimulating outside the office."
The deliberate weight behind his words sent a traitorous warmth crawling up your neck, but you forced yourself to keep your expression cool, even as your fingers curled against your arms.
You met his gaze head-on, refusing to let him see even a flicker of hesitation. “I think you’d find your ideas much more successful if they didn’t regularly violate corporate policy.”
Kuroo grinned, pushing back from the desk, his gaze never leaving yours. “Ah, but where’s the fun in that?”
Before you could fire back, the intercom crackled to life, and Kuroo’s secretary’s voice came through, smooth and professional. "Kuroo-san, your next meeting is waiting."
You shot him a sharp glare, your frustration still simmering just beneath the surface. "Fix it," you said, voice clipped, before turning on your heel and making your way toward the door.
Kuroo, however, didn’t move. Instead, he leaned back slightly, watching you leave with a slow, unapologetically amused expression. His gaze lingered—maybe a little too long—lowering slightly as you walked away, the sway of your hips pulling his attention before you disappeared into the hallway.
He exhaled through his nose, a smirk tugging at the corner of his mouth. "Oh, I’m definitely fixing something."
You straightend your posture, pushing away the lingering heat of irritation (and something else) that settled over you. This wasn’t new. This wasn’t surprising. This was just Kuroo being Kuroo.
And yet, damn him. Damn that insufferable, arrogant smirk and the way your pulse skipped just a little too fast every time he directed that sharp, knowing gaze at you.
This was a game neither of you were willing to lose.
And unfortunately for you, Kuroo Tetsurou played to win. __
You stormed—as professionally as possible—back into your office, dropping the file onto your desk with a little too much force. The sharp slap of paper against wood echoed in the otherwise quiet space, but it wasn’t nearly enough to drown out the infuriating replay of your conversation with Kuroo looping in your head.
Your fingers hovered over your keyboard, but the words on your screen blurred together. Instead of drafting reports or reviewing contracts, your mind was stuck on the smugness in his voice, the arrogance in his smirk, the way he looked at you like he was perpetually three steps ahead. Every damn interaction with him was exhausting—a battle of wills where he seemed to enjoy watching you get riled up a little too much.
God, he was insufferable.
You inhaled sharply through your nose, willing the irritation out of your body as you sat back in your chair. Focus. You had other things to worry about. Work that didn’t involve him.
You had barely started scrolling through your inbox when the door to your office slammed open.
"What’s this I hear about you rejecting the campaign?"
Your boss’s voice boomed across the room before you even had a chance to react. You immediately straightened, hands folding neatly in front of you, as you turned to meet his hard gaze.
"Kuroo-san’s proposal does not pass policy guidelines, sir," you said smoothly, keeping your tone measured and professional.
Your boss scowled, pacing in front of your desk like you had just personally cost the company millions. His tie was slightly loosened, and his sleeves were rolled up—a sign that he had been fielding other problems all day, and now, you were one of them.
"So make it pass!" he snapped. "What did we hire you for?"
You barely resisted the urge to grit your teeth. "Sir, with all due respect, the proposal in its current state violates multiple advertisement clauses. If we move forward with it as is, we risk legal repercussions."
He waved a dismissive hand, clearly uninterested in the specifics. "That’s your job to fix. I want it approved by the end of the day."
"You can't possibly be asking me to rewrite the campaign?" you asked, your voice carefully controlled despite the frustration simmering beneath the surface.
Your boss scoffed, rubbing his temples as if this conversation was an unnecessary burden. "Don't even get me started on that bastard," he muttered, clearly referring to Kuroo. "I'm going to yell at him too. You both will be staying as long as it takes to finish this. No excuses."
Before you could argue, he leaned forward, bracing his hands on your desk. "And I don’t care if you two can’t stand each other. If this campaign doesn’t get approved, it’s both your heads on the line. Figure it out." He straightened, smoothing his tie as he exhaled sharply. "I expect progress by the next meeting. No more of this back and forth." Then, without waiting for your response, he turned on his heel and strode out, leaving the door wide open behind him.
You sat there for a moment, fingers clenched around the edge of your desk, trying to process the sheer absurdity of what had just happened.
This wasn't even remotely close to being your fault. If anything, you had been doing your job correctly, stopping Kuroo from pushing through yet another one of his reckless, barely compliant proposals. And now, somehow, you were being punished for it. You had been following protocol, making sure the company didn’t find itself in a legal nightmare, and yet—you were the one getting scolded? Forced to stay late?
Because of him?
Your jaw tightened. Of course, he wouldn’t face the consequences alone. No, you had to be dragged into this mess alongside him, forced to sit in a room with that smirking, insufferable bastard and work together until this campaign was approved.
The mere thought made your blood pressure spike.
You could already picture the look on Kuroo’s face when he found out. That lazy, knowing grin. The cocky tilt of his head. The way he’d draw out every syllable of your name just to see you twitch. He would probably love this—getting to push your buttons for hours, knowing you had no choice but to endure it.
And the worst part? You knew exactly how he’d spin it.
“Oh? Stuck working overtime with me? You really just can’t get enough, huh?”
You let out a long exhale, trying to push away the irritation clawing at your nerves. The last thing you needed was to let Kuroo live rent-free in your mind. But the thought of having to sit across from him, in a room, alone, for hours, was already grating on you.
This night was going to be hell.
Your nails tapped impatiently against the desk as your mind raced. There was no way you were going to let Kuroo think he’d won just because you were forced into this situation. You would get this campaign approved, on your terms, and you would do it without giving him the satisfaction of seeing you crack.
Because if this ended with him smugly leaning back in his chair, arms crossed, with that knowing smirk on his lips while he said, “Told ya we make a great team,” you were going to commit a corporate crime.
You straightened, rolling up your sleeves, your determination settling like steel in your spine.
If you had to suffer through this, so did he.
And if Kuroo wanted a fight, he was about to get one.

Tetsuro Kuroo, the best damn boss anyone could ask for. Gave anyone the day off when needed, even if they were out of paid sick days. His office morale was the highest ever recorded in the Sports Promotions division, and he was damn proud of it.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who originally hired you because you looked really good in a pencil skirt. And because he needed a female employee for diversity’s sake. Either way, he had no idea of your skills or how you would manage in a sports office setting.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who was shocked to hear that you actually went to Nekoma and were in the same class as Kenma. Who called himself stupid for not recognizing a pretty girl when he was in high school, who called Kenma after he was done for the day to scream at him for not introducing him to such a fine piece of ass.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who had you do the work you wanted to do and never gave you assignments or paperwork you didn’t feel like you could handle. Was he coddling you? Sort of, but how could he not? You were just too pretty to be stressed. As long as you were his employee, you wouldn’t experience work-related stress. Not under his watch.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who always bought you lunch from wherever you wanted. You wanted sushi? Premium salmon rolls got delivered in 30 minutes. Wagyu? Consider it done. Convenience store ramen? He bought 10 cases for you to take home and eat at your leisure.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who confirmed the rumors that you were his favorite employee. What were they gonna do about it, hm? He wasn’t disenfranchising them by spoiling you; being jealous isn’t a cause to get you fired. He was a smug bastard and gave no shits.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who was eating lunch with you in his office one day. Who observed how your tiny pencil skirt rode up your thighs perfectly, how your stockings made you look so fucking sexy. He observed how you blushed when he looked at you, the cutest giggle leaving your lips.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who thanked the universe that his office had two-way blackout curtains and soundproofing. He would bend you over the desk and rip a hole in your stockings, purring at the sight of your soaked lace panties. Did you wear those just for him? Adorable.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who made you sit in his office chair as he ate your pussy like he was on death row. Who relished in your desperate and wanton cries of ecstasy, another orgasm rippling through you. Who demanded you finish on his tongue over and over again, that was all he wanted to eat.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who sighed as he got under-the-desk support while on a phone call with a very important sports vendor. He would grip the mahogany of his desk as he felt your tongue trace on his cock’s throbbing vein, prematurely cumming all over his face. Who, when asked what was wrong, said he just stubbed his toe.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who fucked you like a machine each afternoon. Who gripped onto your hips with such strength that it left imprints on your hips as he fucked you harder and harder. Who demanded you scream as much as you needed, no one would hear. And even if they did hear, no one would stop him. He was their fucking boss.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who never used a condom because you’re on the pill. Who moaned at the sight of his seed leaking out of your weeping core as you struggled to fix your now wrinkled pencil skirt, shooting him a dirty look the entire time. Who promised he would go easier on you tomorrow, but he never did.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who was actually kind of glad that he met you when you were both adults. If he had met you in high school, he never would have fucking graduated or kept Nekoma a powerhouse school. He would have been too distracted flirting with you the entire time.
Tetsuro Kuroo, who went to bed every night satisfied with his decision to hire someone as gorgeous as you.

Tumblr media
Science Teacher Kuroo x Art teacher Reader
SUMMARY: The students sure are riled up! After calming them down from the stress that a certain teacher gave them, you decide to sit down and spend time with your boyfriend!
WORD COUNT: 1.5K
Various sighs from the students filled the room as Kuroo finished explaining the new homework that’s due next week, 15 pages of a practice exam for physics, 5 questions for each level of difficulty. He obviously heard a lot of complaints but waved it off.
“Y’know, I had to do more pages than you bums and I had to be the captain of a volleyball team too. Now get your asses to your next class before I kick ‘em myself.” Tetsurou joked around, wiping off the smudges that the markers left. He heard a few more complaints but slowly everyone began to file out of the room for their next class before break. Thankfully, Kuroo didn’t have any classes after this. So he could head home early if he wanted to.
But he decided to stay and clean a bit more…
The students filed into their next class, everyone sitting down at their respective tables in groups of 8 as the tables were decently big. You were pinning up a few pictures up the cork board, glancing behind the gloomy students. They always were tired out on Thursday afternoons, and you knew why, but you had the decency to stifle that small giggle crawling up your throat.
“What’s wrong, everybody? You all look so dull today!” You asked, patting your hands as you successfully pinned up all the pictures needed on the board. Spinning around on your heel and walking towards your desk to face your class.
Various complaints burst out of the students’ mouths, almost gave you a migraine immediately. You pressed your little bell— the students knew if the bell was rang, everyone had to quiet down— a few times and waited for a few seconds.
“How about we have just one or two people explaining at once? (Student name), you seemed most eager to tell…” You chose a random student, looking over at them.
“Mr. Kuroo always gives us way too much homework, Auntie! This time— this time he gave us 15 pages! To submit next week!?” The teen complained, dragging his hands down his face and dramatically falling into his friend's arms. To which they muttered ‘look at what Mr. Kuroo did, miss…’
“Oh dear, that much? Well, I can’t do too much about it, but if you’re all feeling a bit stressed, we could do something more simple for today's class?” You suggested, organising your desk a bit while you talked to them. Thankfully, the students seemed happy with that suggestion and once you explained the little freestyle clay project they could do in groups of 3, 2 or alone, they all skittered off to their respective groups and began working at it.
Looking at your timetable for today, you didn’t have any classes— and thankfully zero to substitute for too. You hated substituting for classes but you’d rather not create a bit of a rude reputation all of a sudden. You watched the students before sitting in your comfy office chair and opened up your phone. You found a few texts from Tetsurou and a smile laid itself onto your face easily.
(Red is Kuroo, white is you!!)

Psst.
Psssst.
(Name), you there??
Do u have any classes after lunch? :)
Nope.
I have a class right now though…
I’ll come to you *during* lunch?
Sounds great ❤️
Be careful with those kids btw, I heard about one of them managing to start a fire with a pair of sticks when you were sick and someone else was subbing.
Lol

You sighed at the thought of one of them being able to do that. You also wondered why you were never informed of it. God.
Soon enough, it was almost time for class to end, so you got everyone to show their little clay models before cleaning up. There were some interesting ones… Anime characters— someone made two clay models? ‘Go’ and ‘jo’…— the Lorax, a boat, so on.
“Now, I want everyone to listen. You have homework for this class too—“ A group of students groaned, some of them whining. “Don’t worry, it’s nothing big! Just take three pictures of things you find appealing, and we’ll look at them all together next week. Okay? Okay! Now quick, off to lunch!” You rushed them off, wanting to attend to your troublesome boyfriend. You heard multiple rounds of students saying ‘Goodbye, Auntie!!’ In their own weird way, but you didn’t mind.
You did appreciate every student of yours. They were occasionally annoying but that comes with the job, witnessing their milestones in class obviously overpowers that little thing. You pulled out your phone to text Tetsurou to come to your classroom so you two could chat and eat, but the door opened all of a sudden.
“Finally! I thought those mini punks were going to keep you busy all day, lovely!” Tetsurou shut the door with his foot, his hands full of hand packed lunches. He set it down on one of the tables before wrapping his arms around your waist. Giving you a kiss on the forehead.
“You missed me that much? You do realise we see each other everyday, right?” You teased, fixing the tie he wore today, he often switched between formal, casual and business casual. You gave him a small kiss on the lips, cupping his face.
“Yeah, but it’s always nice to see you whenever I can, y’know~” He lengthened out the last syllable, moving his hands up to your back and hugging you. “Also, you’re the only thing that keeps me from throwing a kid out onto the field and making them run laps.” He joked, to which you responded with a light slap onto his chest.
“Tetsurou!” You playfully called out, he laughed with his entire chest. Seriously. It’s a habit he hasn’t let go of since high school. You moved away from him and onto one of the seats. “Come on, let’s eat.” You advised, to which he immediately agreed towards. Sitting on the chair across from you and opening his lunch. You doing the same.
You two ate together, talking about mild topics before you remembered how glum the students in the class before acted. You pointed your fork at Kuroo, smiling.
“I also heard you were torturing my students today, hm?” You accused Tetsurou, to which he raised his hands in a way where he was admitting defeat.
“Hey. I’m going light on them, back in my day I—“ You cut his speech off, already knowing what he’d say. He normally said the same thing to every class.
“—was the captain of the volleyball team, but I still maintained great grades. Hell, I was the top of the class!” You finished his little rant for him. Even going as far as mimicking (read: attempted to mimic) his voice, to which he seemed amused by.
“Good on you for memorising the things I say, darling bunny sugar pie.” He responded in a playful tone, using his chopsticks to raise up a piece of food and put it in your mouth. To which you accepted graciously, giggling.
“Oh my god. They have to be dating!” One of the students gasped, hitting their friend's shoulder multiple times.
“Are you that dense?! They literally kissed earlier!” The other student whisper-yelled, confused by their classmate’s stupidity.
“Well— well ya know that kissing is also a form of greeting people in France or something!” They argued, pointing a finger in the other student’s face.
“We aren’t even in France!? We’re Japanese!?” A different student breathlessly argued, facepalming.
“Oh my gosh, is that seriously Mr. Kuroo and Auntie (Last-name)!?” A new student peeked from behind the crowd of teens who were curious about the ‘secret’ meeting between their strictest teacher and kindest teacher.
“Did any of you guys know they were dating!?” Another student asked, responded with multiple responses, all of them being variations of ‘no’.
The students noticed the two teachers beginning to get up once more, all of them rushing to run away and tell everyone else about what they saw. Some of them tripping but rushing to get back up and get out of there before they got in trouble
The two of you opened the doors as soon as all of them were gone, the both of you laughing at their antics.
“Do they really think we didn’t notice?” You asked Tetsurou, to which he wrapped an arm around your shoulder, his other arm busy carrying both your bags.
“Probably, they’re dumb like that. Haha!” He laughed it off, squeezing you against him.
“Could you two seriously knock it off. It’s making my drink taste disgusting.” Sugawara commented, filling his water bottle up at the dispenser with one hand while his other hand held his coffee. “Just— just go home, seriously.” He shook his head. Restraining himself from telling the both of you off.
Kuroo and you looked at each other, before cackling in a strangely similar manner. Apologizing to Koushi, the both of you left the building to go hang out.
… You were kind of curious about what rumors will come out of your little lunch date today.

Kuroo Tetsuro x Fem!reader reader is best friends with Tetsuro and has a dream about them, slowly she realizes her feelings a/n: no warnings, just fluff!! I've been on a kick recently, so this is probably terribly written, but I hope you enjoy it anyways. This is going to be a series that I do during December for Christmas! Taglist is open.
Tumblr media
"You didn't hear me wrong.. I said I love you.." He said to me, his eyes clear yet full of so much emotion, his hair falling in the right places to frame them perfectly. I could've melted right there, my heart thumping at a million beats per minute.
"I don't believe it.." I mumbled under my breath. I was absolutely astonished that Tetsu, my best friend, could ever feel that way about me at all.
I felt his hand gently rest on my cheek, thumbing it tenderly as if it was the most natural thing in the world. I leaned into his touch instinctively, causing a small smile to rest on his lips. His breath mingled with mine in a playful dance, his lips brushing against my own. I felt my entire world stop spinning then, the entirety of it slowing to a halt for this moment alone. As my lips gently pressed to his, I heard the sound of an alarm blaring in the background; though, I did my best to ignore it, to feel what I was feeling in the moment.
On cue, my vision blurred, and the scene was gone as quickly as it had arrived. With a groan, I turned over on my side to reveal the empty sheets next to me, my phone's alarm blaring from my bedside table.
"What the hell?" I grumbled, my heart still pounding from a kiss that never happened. My fingers brushed my lips gently as I stared off into nothing. "How-"
At about that time I got a phone call from my best friend. My heart thumped in my chest, but eagerly, I picked it up.
"Hello? Tetsu?" I said, my voice still hoarse from sleep.
"Damn, did you just wake up or something? It's the middle of the afternoon-" I heard his familiar voice chuckle on the other end of the line. My eyes shot open then, opening my phone to look at the time.
"Dammit!" I said, hurrying out of bed and into the bathroom to wash my face. "What time were you supposed to be over here?" I asked. He chuckled again in response.
"Glad you asked, I'm actually on my way now..." He said. "I didn't think you'd sleep until 1-"
"Oh shut up, I didn't mean to.." I grumbled, the water flowing from the sink in the background. "At least I woke up at all.." He laughed then, sending a chill through my body as he did so.
"Well, I can't argue with that. I'll be there in a minute, okay?" I heard him say before he hung up. I groaned again, staring at myself in the mirror.
When did I catch feelings for him?
After I finished getting dressed, I heard a knock at the door, one I was a little too quick to respond too as I nearly tripped over the rug in the hall. I opened it quickly, smiling at him like an idiot.
I was met with his usual grin, his hair framing his face just like it had in my dream only minutes prior. My stomach flopped at the sight.
"You excited to see me or something? Let me in, it's freezing out here.." I heard him say, flashing me that smirk he always wore. I rolled my eyes, letting him inside.
"just as charming as always, I see." I mumbled, closing the door behind him and flopping down on my couch. He laughed again, flopping down beside me after setting his bag down.
“Glad you’ve finally caught on.” He said, flipping through the tv to find something on. This had become a normal occurrence, him staying at my apartment in the afternoon to pass the time. I rolled my eyes at him, not bothering to reply.
He stretched out on my couch, an arm resting behind me on the backrest. I doubt he even realized what the small gesture did to me, doubt he realized how fast my heart was pounding in my chest or how my cheeks flushed ever so slightly at the thought of it. I leaned back, my head bumping his hand, catching his attention. He poked the back of my head playfully.
“Comfortable?” He teased. I shot him a glare.
“On my couch, yes.” I shot back, though I couldn’t hide the small smile playing on my lips.
There it was, his confident, cocky smirk he always wore so proudly, sending my stomach rolling.
I brought my knees to my chest, hugging them slightly to me in comfort to calm my own pulse. I hid my face in my knees, watching the tv in front of us mindlessly, and then I felt another poke to my head.
“You’re not annoying me, what’s wrong?” He asked, a small look of concern on his features.
Dammit, if I was having problems before, they were ten times worse now.
“Nothings wrong.. I just woke up, remember?” I said, doing my best to keep my facial expressions calm. He gave me a look.
“You’re shit at lying.” He said. I groaned mentally.
“I’m not lying, Tetsu-“
“Don’t give me that.” He said, cutting me off. “I know you better than you think I do, y/n…” he said, turning a little to face me. In the process, his hand brushed my shoulder, falling to his side and sending a wave through my body. I avoided eye contact at all costs.
“Look at me…” he said, softer this time. Hesitantly, I obliged. “What happened…?”
I let out a deep sigh, knowing I wasn’t going to get out of it this time. Anxiety coursed through my veins, knowing if I said anything about it, it might change everything with Tetsuro; and if I didn’t, it might do the same thing anyways.
“I didn’t sleep great.” I said, which was a lie, I slept amazing, but I couldn’t even tell him why.
“Why? Did you have a bad dream or something?” I smirked slightly, poking my cheek. I glared at him.
“Maybe I did.” I grumbled.
“Talk to me about it.” He said, his tone softer again. I looked over at him finally, seeing him leaning back against the couch and facing me almost fully, his attention completely on me with concern in his eyes. I sighed again, a small smile on my face. He gave me a confused glance now.
“What’s that look about… now I’m really concerned.” He said. “Usually you’d glare at me in this sort of situation…” I then sent him a glare purposefully.
“You make me sound so mean, Kuroo!” I said, chucking one of the throw pillows at him.
“Dammit, you are mean!” He chuckled, throwing it back playfully. “Tell me about your dream, y/n. I want to help.” He said, his smile softening a little bit. It sent my stomach into a whirlpool, and I caught his eyes easily with my own, though I shook my head, my smile fading slightly.
“I can’t…” I said softly, my forehead pressed into my knees again. I heard him shuffle a little and pretty soon felt his hand squeezing my shoulder. His touch alone burned into it, melted all of my worries away like ice.
“Why not?”
“Dammit because it was about you…” I groaned, not meeting his gaze still. I heard his breathing hitch for a moment before he squeezed my shoulder again, and that’s when it registered what I had said.
“Why is that so bad?” He said, I could practically hear the smile in his tone.
“It wasn’t…” I said. “I never said it was a bad dream, I just said I didn’t sleep…” I mumbled, already caught and accepting defeat. I felt my entire body shake slightly with anxiety, and he continued to squeezed my shoulder to calm me.
“Take your time..” he said softly. I once again felt my worries melting away.
“You kissed me, Tetsuro…” I mumbled, and his squeezing stopped. I felt every muscle in my body tense, my anxiety crashing back through me like a tidal wave. I had to forcefully stop myself from pulling away from him.
“I did what..?” He asked, shock etching his tone. I shook my head.
“You kissed me..” I said a little loudly, avoiding his gaze but picking my head up to stare at the tv again. I felt his hand reach for my chin, turning my attention to him.
“Was it that bad?” He asked, fear in his eyes. I snorted, laughing a little as he asked this.
“God no.. it’s all I’ve been able to think about.” I said, my smile turning into a softer one as I saw his expression change and his anxiety melt away again.
“Damn.. you had me scared there for a second…” he said with a smile. “I was worried you wouldn’t like it if I actually did..”
My ears rang at his words, my pulse quickening rapidly as I stared at him with utter disbelief. His thumb rubbed against my chin, almost mimicking what had happened in my dream before.
“What?” I asked, my lips parted perfectly, my breath ragged. He chuckled, shuffling a little closer to me. Though, I was frozen in place, unable to move.
“You didn’t hear me wrong…” he said, once again mimicking what he’d said in my dream. I saw his gaze flick down to my lips once before slowly dragging their way back up to my eyes, as if taking in every detail to commit to memory.
I was too stunned to speak, and before I knew it he was inches away from me, his hand resting on my cheek gently as he brushed it with his thumb.
“Would it really be so bad?” He asked softly, his gaze flicking down to my lips again. I stared into his glossy eyes, taking in the emotion they held so strongly as he stared right back into my own.
“No…” I said finally, looking down at his lips. “No I don’t think it would be..”
His breath mingled with my own, the tension building by the second. I could feel my pulse in my ears, pounding mercilessly like my alarm had blared before. I closed my eyes, pressing my forehead to his gently to urge him forward. He hummed gently, and before I knew it I felt his lips gently pressing against my own.
My heart nearly exploded from my chest as I melted into his lips, molding into them as if I was some sort of putty in his hands. I sighed against his lips, moving mine with his gracefully.
“How was that…?” He asked, his lips brushing mine again as he spoke. I grinned, my heart still pounding as I licked my lips gently, tasting him again.
“Like a dream…” I mumbled.
