Fleetwood Mac Reunites

- “It’s Time,” Mick Fleetwood says in statement

Fleetwood Mac is getting back together.

“It’s Time,” Mick Fleetwood said in a statement both temporal and literal.

The latest Mac will feature most of the lineup - drummer Fleetwood, bassist John McVie, guitarists Dave Mason and Billy Burnette and singer Bekka Bramlett - that recorded 1995’s Time LP, with Courtney Love filling the gaping hole left by the late Christine McVie.

“Live through this,” Love said in a statement.

The Time2Dance tour will begin with warm-up shows in England before hitting the state-fair circuit in the United States this summer.

“Maybe I’ll get them to open for me😂😂😂😂😂,” Stevie Nicks said in a Facebook post.

Right now it seems like Net Neutrality might be going away. If it is, I can't pay for Tumblr. My parents also don't know I have it and if they get my history then I'll be out of the closet and that's something I don't want to be.

I'm not going to delete my blog, but I'll be gone until all this crap blows over. I'm going to keep trying to stop this from happening, I'll do whatever I can. I'm just preparing for a possibility.

Encourage Young People to DATE

Last month, I spoke with a group of middle school students about leadership, goal setting and overcoming peer pressure. For the entire 60 minutes, everyone was engaged. We laughed together, cried together and listened to each other. At one point, I stood back amazed while a student offered advice to another student who was struggling with personal matters at home. Towards the end of the talk, I opened it up for students to ask questions and share thoughts related to the topics we discussed. The questions these brilliant minds came up with was impressive, but the final one caught me off guard. “Coach Jason, when do you think we’re old enough to date?” the student asked. I paused for a second and told the student that’s a discussion she needs to have at home, because opinions vary from parent to parent. After she put her head down in disappointment, thinking I was avoiding the question, I wrapped up the talk by encouraging the students to DATE in another way.

Intrigued by what I said, the student who asked the question popped her head up and everybody else's eyes got big. I told them to DATE means to “Do All Things Exceptionally.” I told them you’re never too young to lead, to achieve great success, to believe in your abilities and to Do All Things Exceptionally. I looked everyone in the eyes and said, “If you want to DATE like that, then you have my permission to go ahead. Your parents won't mind.” I wanted to communicate on their level and change how those middle school students viewed a word that is a part of the world they live in.

The more I think about what our young people are facing in this day age, the more I realize how important it is for us to educate them, equip them and empower them every chance we get. If you’re a parent with teens or someone who works with young people on a daily basis, remind them of who they are and what they are capable of achieving. Help them see the greatness they possess, and encourage them to Do All Things Exceptionally. That's the type of DATE every young person should be welcomed to bring home!
