Lunch time was a welcome break from the strangeness of the situation so far. It had already been a few days since her arrival, but she’d yet to really settle in. Not to mention, her head was practically spinning with all the new information she was learning. 

It was a relief to be able to find a quiet corner of the cafeteria where she could relax and talk to Puck about what he’d missed while he was sleeping. Though getting used to the food was another story. It really made her miss Rem’s cooking. Though that only reminded her that Subaru was here as well.

Noticing the look on her face, Puck titled his head. “Lia, are you thinking about that again?” he asked, expression almost serious for once. But it was enough to snap Emilia out of her thoughts and shook her head. 

“No, I’m not,” she answered, a bit tersely as she forced a bite of something that might have been a fruit into the spirit’s mouth. Of course, he didn’t seem to mind whatever it was and ate it happily. With a sigh, the half elf glanced up at her surroundings, freezing when she realized they were being watched. Or maybe it was more accurate to say Puck was the target?

“U-um...can we help you?” she asked tentatively. Though really, it wasn’t unusual for people to be lured in by Puck’s appearance.

          {♠} —; As a Phase user, Nata was naturally able to detect certain effects around him. His time running undercover missions for UNION and as a Wolfdog for Vultures allowed him to encounter and familiarize with dimensional beings. They tore portals and wreaked havoc around the world. He wouldn’t imagine he could forget the power they exhumed—it excited him after all. The small fry were weak, yes, however the higher-up enemies. Astaroth, Ash, Dust? They were worth his time.

          {♠} —; Wandering the aisles of the school, the presence he felt was familiar. Not quite the same as a dimensional, but something akin to that. This vague feeling that something wasn’t right was enough for Nata to investigate. Turning the corner to follow the individual he’d speak up.

Talk about hitting the nail on the head. Such a statement resonated perfectly with him.  More so along the lines of being unfortunate, rather then being poor, but it was all the same.  Upon sparing a momentary glance at the owner of the voice, lips pull into a disapproving frown. After all, this was interesting, considering who said words were coming from. 

      “Tell me something I don’t know. Not that I regret what I did in my life, but circumstances in which I had too, were indeed unfortunate....”

“My ambitions have never once led me astray, the path I walk is one that will unite kingdoms in peace, Add” Corrin responds to his statement in turn though he feels like the younger is taking a stab at his grab for peace, but its not a discussion they’ve had so he discards the thought and reaches forward with a smile. 

“Perhaps you should worry more about yourself than me.” And if he sounds a little smug, then its because he is, just a little bit, “your ambitions may be more spectacular than my own, and maybe its you who is blinded? They’ve already led you astray and you’re risking everything you’ve worked for riding on that single ambition. You’re really gonna take this risk aren’t you?”

Corrin laughs as his hand ghosts over the board and moves his piece forward, “You’re quite smart and your tactics are bold, you had me there a few times, but you waltzed your way right into my trap.” He sets the piece down and removes his hand, “I do believe that’s, a check my friend.”

     “Hide?” Emiko questioned, folding her arms across her chest, the teen pursed her lips. A feigned hurt expression found its way onto her face, although she had a feeling it would get her nowhere with the male. Harrumphing loudly, Emiko turned to the side abruptly, eyelids sliding closed in stubbornness. 

“I’m an open book, y’know. I’d never even need a reason to hide anything!” 

Her statement might have been enough to sate the other’s curiosity, had his textbook not abruptly dropped out of the back of her school uniform, falling to the ground with a thump. A seasoned pickpocket in her own right, it was a little embarrassing to have such a blunder as this - and right in front of the person she’d stolen from too! 

“...” The silence that came from Emiko was unnatural. She stewed in embarrassment for a moment, before lifting her leg to swiftly kick the book backwards. There hadn’t really been a solid reason for stealing the text needed for the other’s alchemy class, but now all she could do was go with the flow. 

“Oopsies, that wasn’t your textbook was it? Ahaha... wonder how that got over here...” Emiko said suspiciously, before grinning wickedly and using her neon powers to race over to where she kicked it, away from Add. She bent to pick it up swiftly, snickering in delight.

“You need this for your class, don’t you~? It’d be a shame if you lost it!!”
