1 I like about myself that I can detach easily from my emotions and approach problems calmly and objectively. I try to see all different perspectives and often re-evaluate my own before speaking up or making a decision, so I’m not very prone to impulsiveness.2. I have a good ear for accents and an intuitive understanding of languages.3. I’m hyper sensitive and very emphatic. Which can be a weakness in certain situations but I’d like to think of it as one of my superpowers. I love to use it to help people.

4. That I always try to learn from my mistakes and work on becoming a better version of myself.

5. I also like that I'm pretty adaptable and can adjust quickly to new situations.

What made you decide to publish your art online? I know for me, it was difficult to decide to put my writing out there. So I've always wondered what made you decide to publish your art.

*coughs* four month old ask i’m sorry oops

I guess it was because I was really confident starting out several years ago. I wasn’t very good but I was very vain, and it helped me get some traction. I’ve learned a whole lot since then, and it’s taken me down a notch. I rarely post my sketches; I keep feeling like they’re inadequate and loose when in reality many of them are more lifelike than my finished pieces. I’d like to gain back some of that confidence some day, though I have learned a lot in critiquing myself.

I was also very enthusiastic, and I posted what I wanted regardless of how obscure or strange it was. I suppose I just enjoyed myself, so much, and I wanted to share that.

I think the change in how I’ve grown is that I’ve lost some of the confidence to show things I’ve made that are silly and free. It’s very difficult to publish things if you’re worried about how professional or good they are, but we forget that we started because we wanted to have fun.

Imo, the best advice for improvement is to just forget about perfectionism. Show off the little one-shots and sketches and things you wrote for fun! I think this quote embodies what we gotta learn if we’re going to fully have fun by posting and sharing:

“It took me four years to paint like Raphael, but a lifetime to paint like a child.” - Pablo Picasso

Remember, you’re in this for you. It’s not about how great you are. It’s so much more worthwhile if you had fun doing it.

Hence the kinda obscure stuff on my blog. It’s not about the notes, though it is great to get some sweet sweet validation. Just think how much you could do if you let yourself be messy again.

Got bored one day and looked at her imdb to see if she’d done any tv series/films I’d be interested in watching, to relieve my boredom. Can confirm I spent most of that thinking: tf is this? TF is that???It was an odd experience, however I did end up watching Green Wing. Not bad, but a lot of it was spent with a ‘WTAF?!?!’ reaction.

I haven't watched that much of her work yet but I literally have not seen her in a single normal show

I think Ned, Robb and Jon would have been a force to be reckoned with. Catelyn would have been way more effective politically because Ned listens to her advice without bringing his ego into the equation usually. Cat might have let Arya learn blade work because it's war and such. Cat would have put some sense into Sansa from the get go. Bran and Rickon would have been trained away from the violent nonsense. I have a few thoughts on this really. I think a lot might have changed.

I totally agree with all of this. But to be honest, the Catelyn in me actually wasn’t including Jon in my pondering (in my head he still went to the Wall. Oops?) but yes, Robb and Ned would be a good pair, because Robb has the eyes of youth but Ned has experience, but they both listen and learn with each other, and then like you said Ned isn’t the man to dismiss his wife’s input because she’s a woman; they are a partnership and I think the two together in the capital would have made them a pretty unbreakable force. 

The water dancing would definitely be okay for Cat I think, after some convincing, because it’s different from the boys at court swinging a sword around and Syrio is all about teach Arya balance and quiet and listening and grace etc which are all good things with a sword and without. 

I always think Catelyn would have had very little patience for Sansa’s resentment towards Ned over Lady (because people tend to forget Catelyn is not a soft mother, she’s quite a hard one, and she would have been brutally honest in that situation in a way I don’t feel Ned felt he could as he ahd been the one to take Lady’s life) and there would have been more no-nonsense considering Cat’s suspicion of the Lannisters due to her sister’s letter. No encouraging too much niceness with joffrey, not like Septa Mordnane did. 

And God Rickon getting to be with his mum and dad and following them round like wanted to, and Bran not being crippled and therefore running about and just being a boy, and even when war comes and they can’t play anymore, they’re all together so it’s far better for them

Just all their better mental states would change so much, and the support system they have of being together.

Pretty sure I followed you at some point while you were inactive. I'm tigresswraith, although I usually get called Tigress here on Tumblr. I write for fandom and you may see my links to my writing from time to time. I may also post an original creative story here and there. I'm a Whovian and I follow various other fandoms. So I assume my followers are constantly thinking: what the fuck is this?!?! It's lovely that you've become active again, and I look forward to perhaps getting to know you.

Gosh, there’s so many things I love about her. If I had to choose just one, I’d say how she had absolutely no qualms about using any means available to her to get what she needed or wanted. Whether it be her womanly charms, a clever tongue, a white lie, humour, playing the dim-witted blonde, finding a loophole in the law… She was manipulative, she took advantage of every available weapon in her repertoire without ever feeling bad about it, but she was never painted as the villain because of it. And in my opinion, that’s quite amazing. She’s still one of the most multi-faceted female characters I’ve ever seen on television. And I’m still quite bitter about the fact that they made such a step backwards with Major Crimes and Sharon Raydor.

Mhm… her questionable taste in men? ;P Never could quite comprehend what she saw in Pope or Fritz, but chacun à son goût. Other than that, I think she was a pretty well-rounded character. She had her faults, but in my opinion they only ever made her more endearing and lovable.

My OTP will forever be Brenda and Sharon. I immediately fell in love with their dynamics - they were polar opposites, had completely different methods to achieve their goals, they were both fiercely independent and ambitious career women, yet so similar in both ideals and morals. I loved how, as they were forced to work together, their dynamics gradually changed from antagonistic > willing to find a compromise > cooperative > almost cordial in the end. They could have remained rivals, but as they got to know each other better, they came to the realization that they were both women in difficult positions in a man dominated work environment, and for that they came to respect each other, and in their own way, they forged an alliance, helped each other, even became friends. And man, am I a sucker for ships like that.

1. Everyone assumes I’m majoring in Writing/English. I have no idea why that’s the vibe I give off, because I’m going into STEM fields - more specifically, mathematics-heavy ones are the ones that intrigue me most. I guess I just talk too much about books/media???? It’s so weird though. I try to enjoy every subject, but…

2. I am most distinguishable by my coat. Since my fashion sense is some kind of Jack Harkness nonsense, I have 5-6 long coats to wear on a daily basis. People recognize when I buy new ones. One time I was complimented on my ‘costume’, and I was ¿??¿?¿ because I was wearing my normal clothing??? Long coats are so comfortable you guys, and they look really awesome.

3. I also carry a skeleton pocketwatch. I’m insufferable.

4. I snowboard. Just a blue run person, though.

5. I wear glasses. Thin-framed ones, and yes, transition lenses, cos I’m a trans sort of person, yeah? *nudge nudge* im hilarious.

6. Ginger is the best flavor. Burn my mouth. Please. Set it on fire.

7. I’m really put off by negativity. I’m somewhere in between an optimist and a realist, but I tend to distance myself as much as possible from argumentative situations. (Cough, cough. Internet discourse.)

I used to wear glasses, and also finally got my eyes tested for the first time in maybe 10 years, just because you know, it is about time. And my eyesight is still good, and no need to wear glasses.
