I despise what they did to Tigger in that one Christopher Robin movie. He looked horrifying for no good reason. Coming straight out of Blood & Honey 2 I'm telling you the first 10 minutes of this movie scared me WAY more than the entire horror movie marketed as a horror movie. Blood and honey should've been taking notes when this beast dropped

Like he looks like he'd hunt his friends down one by one and eat them for sport. For the love of the game. Regular Tigger looks like he's still thinking it over. This is an important distinction

Sooo I have a lot. I'll go with Kaya and Zeke this time since I don't write just those two like ever I will be though

Kaya: They started as a kind of foil for Mira. Less confident, nervous, and trusting. More willing to be kind when they run into someone new than be suspicious. Mira and Kaya have what I sort of consider complimentary personalities where they make up for the other's weaknesses.

Zeke: He was similar in how he got started. The foil for Corus. Calm, collected, and observant. If the two were normal humans he'd notice the missing things a borrower steals while Corus thinks it's just getting lost all the time. He's also in a way more confident than Corus since Corus can feel anxious and nervous from his anger issues.

31. does your favorite movie/game/book from when you were young still hold up in quality?

Hmm honestly not that much lol. I've always been awful at picking favorites, but a lot of stories I still enjoy knowing they aren't amazing. Anastasia with how inaccurate it is, Nightmare Before Christmas with how goofy and weird it is. Disney's Beauty and the Beast and how much if varies from the original. Diddy King Racing and Tigger's Honey Hunt are totally different. Banjo Kazooie wasn't what I remembered either, though all are still fun. Books would probably be Madeline and that one... that one does hold up, but it might be the nostalgia talking. Warrior cats series I don't think would be how I remember, but I loved reading them and would still go for the ride. Being a bit older Go Ask Alice is nothing like I remember but I did love it when I read it.

I would say words of affirmation or acts of service. Anxiety can be rough sometimes and hearing that people care or them doing something cause they thought of me always make it a lot easier!

While more independent Mickey Mouse creations are likely to come, a few other notable characters have also joined the public domain in 2024 and are primed to receive the same treatment. Key among them are Tigger, who joins his pal Pooh after the copyright expiration of A. A. Milne’s House at Pooh Corner, and Peter Pan with the expiration of J.M. Barrie’s play Peter Pan; or, the Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up. Both are slated for twisted reimaginings thanks to Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey helmer Rhys Frake-Waterfield with Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2 and Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare on the way. Frake-Waterfield has more plans for his childhood icon horror cinematic universe with Bambi: The Reckoning also on the docket, though he notably isn't touching Mickey Mouse yet.
