the opposite apparently? absence of restraint, being unable to physically stop yourself from talking and thankfully i don’t experience it on a constant level in daily-life but,  ......kind of. yeah no i do a little, but it just gets exponentially worse if talking to any acquaintance at all, i wouldn’t actually put it past being generally an autism thing since everyone and their mother will tell me “well aren’t ya?” and telling me to get checked but, this country actually has a two years delay for ANY type of diagnosis, i don’t actually seek to know it because fuck am i gonna do with it you know?

recently i feel very literal physical fatigue at times from talking but also, from typing, a few weeks back i literally felt exhaustion from compulsion to word vomitting, it’s just not goddamn stopping and the doc literally telling me

“usually it’s a diagnosis in children, or else it simply gets too much to handle” 

and i’m just, it’s all too much you know?

My Viahart giant squid plushie (I'm calling him Squidly) came in the mail today! Pictured with my current read, The Absolute at Large by Karel Čapek. It's a pretty good book so far, and it's interesting reading a scifi story talking about what we would call nuclear energy today (the titular Absolute), far before nuclear energy was fully understood. I also love that in this story the horrific plague (caused by the Absolute) that's bringing the world to its knees is a plague of religious fervor, that physically and mentally affects the populace like a combination of divine lead poisoning and holy nuclear fallout.

Last Show I Watched: Comedy Bang Bang. I didn't watch all of it though, i just watched all the episodes with Weird Al in them lol

Currently Watching: I'm like part way through my Heroes rewatch. I got to 3x1 and was like. Fuck I forgot how bad series 3 was. I need to take a break and go back to it later.

first, athena!!

my girl. i love you so much even though dual destinies isn’t one of my fave games. her design is a bit wonky but by god does she have charm. i have so much love for characters that remain cheerful despite the terrible circumstances they had to go through, and athena’s endless optimism and determination are just. so wonderful to see. i just love her a lot ok.

now, everyone’s little sister, trucy wright!!

god i love her so much???? she’s also an example of remaining cheerful despite shitty circumstances, and she’s always trying so hard to make people smile i just can’t help but love her. i have So Many Thoughts about her and the gramarye legacy and the fact she has her brother right there and doesn’t even know it and still treats him as such because in her eyes he’s family and that’s all that matters to her. i just. ghhhh i love trucy so much

she also has the best father ever in phoenix, despite whatever shady things may have happened during the 7yg. i wish her nothing but happiness, because she deserves it!!

hi! i'm so excited for this zine; thank you guys so much for starting this project! in regards to works submitted with our applications, are you accepting non-traditional story formats, such as a letter? i wouldn't want to submit something like that as an actual contribution, but would that be alright as an example of our writing style if it was submitted alongside more traditional works? thank you!
