DENISE BOUTTÉ AND COLIN LAWRENCE FIND ROMANCE AT A PICTURESQUE FAMILY WINERY IN ‘NAPA EVER AFTER,’ A NEW, ORIGINAL MOVIE PREMIERING AUGUST 26, ON HALLMARK CHANNEL
Part of the Network’s Annual Summer Nights Programming Event
STUDIO CITY, CA – July 27, 2023 – Denise Boutté (“The Young and the Restless,” Why Did I Get Married?) and Colin Lawrence (“Virgin River,” “Riverdale”) star in the Mahogany presentation “Napa Ever After,” a new, original movie premiering Saturday, August 26 (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel as part of the network’s Annual Summer Nights programming event.
After inheriting her estranged grandmother’s vineyard in Napa Valley, Cassandra (Boutté), a very single high-powered attorney, takes a sabbatical from her job to renovate the property that was the source of the fractures within her family. Once an award-winning winery and destination wedding venue, Eloi Vineyards is in disrepair and on the brink of bankruptcy. With the help of Alec (Lawrence), a handsome local widower, Cassandra sets out to reclaim her family legacy by reviving the vineyard in time for her dear friend Lena (Tiffany Yvonne Cox, “Reasonable Doubt”) to have the first wedding there in years. Through the process, Cassandra discovers more about her family and opens her heart to a love like she’s never known.
“Napa Ever After” is from Hallmark Media. Tia A. Smith is executive producer. Produced by Charles Cooper. Alfons Adetuyi directed from a script by Nina Weinman, based on a story by Wendy Eley-Jackson.

70th Emmy Nomination Predictions
Last year, five new dramas broke into the race, and they’re looking to be as strong as they were last year. With former champ Game of Thrones returning to the race, though, people need to make some room. Should be interesting. On the comedy side, Veep, which has won the Best Comedy three years running, is off this year, including its leading lady Julia Louis Dreyfus who has won six times in a row, opening up the Comedy race. Looking forward to seeing some new faces over on that side. Here are my predictions for the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards!

Another Emmy nomination prediction list done! Gonna be Game of Thrones vs. The Handmaid’s Tale it seems, with THT getting more nominations than it did last year. Will be interesting to see which of the five new shows that arrived last year can maintain their momentum. Hoping for some new, new faces everywhere else!

Emmys 2020 Winners List (Updating)
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
It’s been a long, unusual path to the 2020 Emmy Awards. The television industry by and large shut down in March 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. And yet, TV carried on as best it could. Now the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (ATAS) is set to honor the best of the medium in a very strange year.
The Emmy Awards have understandably gone about things a little differently this time around. The Creative Arts Emmys, usually a lesser-heralded and non-televised event, got nearly a full week in the spotlight, airing in five parts, culminating in a ceremony on FXX on the night of Saturday, Sept. 19. You can find the full list of the Creative Arts Emmys over here. The time has finally come, however, for the main event.
Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the main awards show at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. Like the Creative Arts ceremonies before it, the 2020 Emmy Awards will be socially distanced, with winners and presenters video conferencing in remotely while Kimmel emcees from the cavernous Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles. Don’t worry – he will apparently have some guests so as to not get too lonely.
With Game of Thrones ending its long reign of terror, there are some opportunities for shows like Succession, The Crown, and Ozark to shine in the drama categories. Meanwhile, the final season of Schitt’s Creek could make it a long night for fellow comedies like Insecure, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and The Good Place. And when it comes to the limited series categories? It would take an act of Doctor Manhattan for Watchmen to not have a big night.
So follow along with the winners below. The full list of nominees expected to be announced is available now and winners will be updated in bold text as the night progresses.
