“Mommy! Mommy! Cans I pweaseeeeee get dis?!” You begged Tiffany as you gave her the best puppy dog eyes you could muster. You were holding up a toy you’ve been wanted for a while and you were hoping that today Tiffany would finally give in and buy it for you. “Not today doll face. Go ahead and put it back.” She said as she grabbed some bread from the shelf. You felt your heart sink and tears prickling your eyes, not believing what she had said.

So you put the toy in her cart and she looked at you in shock. “Y/n? I told you to put it back honey, we aren’t getting it today.” She said with a little more of an authoritative tone which made you more upset. “B-but mommy! I-I’ve beens sos goods!” You whimpered and Tiffany sighed. “You have been very good darling but just because you are good, doesn’t mean you can get toys all the time babygirl.” She said and you felt tears flow down your cheeks. “Wan toy!” You yelled out and Tiffany looked at you in bewilderment.

You started throwing a tantrum and was crying and yelling about not getting your toy. Tiffany had to pick you up and take you to the bathroom, still crying about not getting your toy. She locked the bathroom door behind her and sat you up on the sink. Tiffany brought out your paci and gently placed it in your mouth, making you suck on it at a rapid pace since you were still upset. “Just breath for mommy okay? In and out. Do it with me princess okay?” Tiffany said as you took out your paci so you could do your breathing exercises with your mommy and the two of you did it until your breathing was normal again.

“Now, why don’t you tell mommy what’s wrong yeah?” She said softly as she brushed some hair out of your face. “M’wan toy mommy! Wan it’s sos bads…” you explain to her the best you could and Tiffany nodded in understanding. “I understand baby, but do you know why I’m not getting it for you right now?” She said and you shook your head no slowly. “Because there’s Valentine’s Day coming up and your birthday and what if I’m trying to save it for one of those days hm?” Your mommy explained and realization appeared on your face but your eyes still had a sad look in them.

“Oh..otays mommy…” you said pouting slightly which made Tiffany giggle. “Oh sweet pea, you won’t have to wait too long okay? Why don’t we finish doing our shopping and if you continue to be good, we can go get some ice cream! How does that sound?” Tiffany said happily and your face lit up at the mention of ice cream. So for the rest of the time at the store, you were a perfect angel. Tiffany kept to her word and after y’all got done with shopping, she took you to your favorite ice cream shop where you got anything you wanted. “Tank chus mommy. I sowwy I gots upsets earliers.” You apologized and your mommy gave you a soft look as she leaned down and placed a loving kiss to your forehead. “All is forgiven sweet pea, don’t worry okay? We are okay.” Tiffany said as she helped feed you your ice cream while you ate it happily.
