August's Tickletober - Day 2: Chase
Switch!vox Switch!velvette
Words: 873
“VOX! You asshole!”
That was it.
This was the final straw of Velvette’s day.
First, a model who had to perform a big role in a show had gotten MAULED by a dog on their way!
Now they had a face that could NOT be put on camera.
So they had to use some spare look-alike that didn’t even fit their dress.
It was just awful.
Then, she had dropped her phone, earning a crack in the screen protector Vox SWORE was invincible.
This had already put her off speaking terms with the flat-faced ‘prince’.
Oh.. But this.
This was IT.
Vox must have gone into her room, for some odd reason, and because the idiot can’t turn his head more than an inch APPARENTLY, he knocked her favourite perfume (for display purposes only) off its place on her dresser.
The bottle lay on the ground, a crack running through it, splitting it, the liquid pooling around the glass.
Sure, it was a strange accusation, but there was no other logical answer.
Valentino would have probably said something, (Not that he’d care any more), and it’s not like earthquakes happen in hell.
So, it must have been that fucking biohazard they call a CEO.
She approached the TV, clearly unsettled from what she had said a moment ago. Clueless of what’s about to come.
“Why were you in my room?”
He blinks,
How did she know?
“Velvette! Ah, let’s see. I was just delivering that dress you ordered! I thought it would be nice if I were to put it in your room for you.”
Oh! That thing came. Well, that made today much better for her.
“Oh. Well. Thanks!”
“BUT, you ruined my best fragrance.”
He stares at her in confusion, a wary smile playing on his face,
“Whatever are you talking about? I would never do that,”
“Yes, you did. You knocked it over and now it’s broken. You are replacing it.”
She says, accepting no further comment.
“Velvette, I can replace it but I did not do that.”
She scowls at him,
“Admit you did it.”
Vox couldn’t admit to anything he had no recollection of doing, rolling his eyes at her,
“I’m sure it just fell of the shelf alone.”
Velvette was so sure he did it, anger building up inside her.
“Be reasonable, Vel,”
He says, taking a step closer to pinch her side, earning a jump in return.
“Reasonable? I’ll be reasonable…”
She mutters before lunging at the taller sinner, squeezing his sides.
“What are you-”
He’s cut off by buffers, flinching back from her touch.
Now knowing she was serious, serious.
“I think I hear Valnetino in need of some down time!”
He says before swiftly zapping into a camera.
Oh, but he wasn’t getting away that easily.
She quickly leaves his room, practically marching down the halls in order to get to his ‘office’ as he called it.
It wasn’t really, it was mostly where he watched people with minorly sadder lives than his.
She flings the door open. Surprise, surprise. He was there.
Now with a ‘Fuck Alastor’ mug in hand. Nervously looking at her,
“Aha.. do you need something else..?”
“Cut the shit,”
Velvette says, jumping at him once again, this time drilling into his hips, knowing he couldn’t focus his abilities this way.
“Waitwaitwait!”
She didn’t listen, smirking at him.
“Sorry not sorry!” She half-sings in a teasing voice.
The overlord tries his best to hold it back, a few chuckles coming out before he manages to stumble away, running out the room, afraid of the girl.
He had ever reason to be afraid! She was a mean ler.
But, the flat-faced prince apparently doesn’t know his own way around the tower. Well, at least not well enough.
She runs the opposite direction from him, predicting his every move.
Velvette of course, is running, but makes sure not to go too fast. She really liked the dress she was wearing and would probably kill Vox instead if it caught on a door and teared.
Eventually she pushes open the heavy doors, Vox half running into her.
She manages to catch herself with the door, grabbing Vox before he can pull away.
Any attempt at using his powers were now useless, as she giggled, attacking his hips once again.
Except this time, she was doing something right, managing to draw laughs out from the other.
“Haha! Vel- Velvette stop that- I didn’t do shit!”
Her nails drag up to his sides,
“Actually! You did, infact, do shit.”
Vox basically collapsed to the floor, Velvette followed (but much more gracefully), continuing her attack.
It was like this for about three minutes, before a voice behind them startled them both.
“Eh, Velvette.”
Valentino.
“I may or may not have.. Broke something in your room.”
She pauses her attack, staring at him, Vox heavily breathing.
“You what.”
Valentino knew what she was capable of, too.
“It was reflecting light. I thought it was a.. Lamp.”
“Oh for fuck’s sake, of course you did…” Vox seethes beside her, an angry glint in his televised eyes.
“VELVETTE!”
Vox launches himself at her.
Valentino slowly slides away, hoping whatever Vox was about to do would distract her from him.

The Long Trek Back Home
Ash Ketchum has finally become a pokémon master! On his way home, Ash meets up with his friends who have walked alongside him during his journey. Follow alongside Ash as he reunites with all his friends, old and new!
This fanfic was suggested by @nico-ticklegoddess12. I knew this fanfic would end up being super long, due to needing to include moments with every group Ash had over the last 27 years. But this fanfic came in at 13 pages. But boy, was it worth it. I had so much researching to do and clips to watch, and lastly: I made sure a pokémon fanatic read over the fanfic for inaccuracies before I was ready to upload! Oh! And one more thing...I tracked down the map of where Ash went on his journey originally, and I came up with a slightly different journey back to Pallet Town for Ash, that would logically and geographically, make more sense. Here's the maps I used.
So without furtherado, I hope you enjoy!
Ash had finally done it. He had finally become the very best like no one ever was: A pokémon master. He had started his trip back to Pallet town, and spent his time saying bye to all the friends he had made over the years. On his way back, many of his friends through the years had offered to accompany him as he reversed his tracks. First was Goh.
They had traveled across Galar, visiting different towns and cities for a while, catching up on all they’ve seen and done together.
“Remember when you caught a pokéball for the first time, and didn’t even realize it?” Ash asked.
“Yup, I remember it vividly. It was my Scorbunny.” Goh replied.
“Oh my gosh, your face when it was added to your pokédex!” Ash reacted, laughing.
“And the time your chair leg broke and fell to the ground?” Goh added with a laugh. “Even YOU were laughing!” He added, poking his side.
Ash laughed. “And the time you grabbed my pants when you fell? I was scared they were gonna fall down!” Ash added, poking his side back.
“Hehey! Watch it, clumsy!” Goh reacted, poking him back.
Ash laughed and poked him back. “Poke fight!” Ash declared before poking him double time.
Goh laughed and poked him back, now going for the sides and ribs as well as the arms. “Tahahake thahat!” He said, poking Ash’s belly.
Ash doubled over and hugged his sides, letting out a long burst of laughter.
Goh laughed alongside him and patted his shoulder. “You’re so ticklish! It’s so funny!” Goh reacted.
“Ihihi know.” Ash admitted.
“Honestly, you two…” Chloe teased with a smile.
Goh turned to Chloe and scratched the back of his head. “Sorry, Chloe.”
Chloe smirked and picked up Goh. “Sorry doesn’t change how ticklish YOU are.” She exclaimed as she danced her fingers all over his ribs. “NaAAHAHAHA! CHLOE WAHAHAIT! NOHOHO FAHAIR!” Goh laughed. Ash just smiled as he watched the goofballs play with each other.
When they got to Kalos, Ash, Goh and Chloe split up. There, Ash would come across Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie again. “Need a lift?” Clemont asked.
Ash and the group walked through Kalos, visiting places they had been before, and reminiscing about their journey together.
“Remember Clemont’s pokébot?!” Ash asked excitedly.
Serena and Bonnie groaned in slight annoyance while Clemont smiled eagerly.
“Don’t you mean my ‘Automatic Pikachu Retrieval Device’?” Clemont clarified.
“Pokébot sounds better.” Bonnie admitted.
Clemont yelped and shot a glare at her. “And why is that?!” Clemont asked.
Bonnie smirked. “Because it’s shorter and makes more sense.” She replied proudly.
Clemont narrowed his eyes at her. “Take that back.” He ordered.
“Or what?” She teased back.
“Or else…” He smirked and wiggled his fingers at her. “A certain childhood monster is gonna reappear.” He warned.
Bonnie’s sly look quickly turned into nervousness. “H-Huh?!” She reacted, before taking off running. “W-Wait! Not that! Anything but that!” She begged.
“You asked for it. Therefore, you’re getting it.” Clemont declared proudly, chasing after her.
Bonnie sprinted just about everywhere she could think of. She even whizzed around Ash and Serena a few times! Ash and Serena looked at each other, clearly confused. “Monster?” Ash asked.
“What monster?” Serena asked next, not knowing either.
“Only the most well-known monster to ever exist.” Clemont replied, still not helping them figure it out.
Bonnie accidentally tripped on her feet mid-run, and flopped herself onto the grass. Her eyes were spinning spirals as she froze on the ground. “Bonnie! Are you okay?!” Clemont asked, worried.
“I think so…” Bonnie replied.
“Okay, good.” Clemont ran up and picked up his little sister, before squeezing and digging into her belly. “Cause THIS monster just captured the best prey in Kalos!” He declared, lifting her up and pretending to nibble on her belly.
“eeeEEHEHEHEHE! HAHAHA NOHOHOHO!” She wiggled around and kicked her feet, unable to stop her brother from tickling her.
“Oh…” Ash looked down, a gray shadow covering his eyes as he felt a tear drop down his forehead. “The tickle monster.”
Serena was giggling at the silliness for a few minutes.
When they reached Unova, Ash turned to look at his friends. “I loved hanging out again. We should do it again sometime!” Ash declared. He gave Clemont and Bonnie a hug. “Bye Bonnie. Bye Clemont. Good luck with your inventions!” He said, patting his back before stopping in front of Serena. “And Serena…” Ash chuckled and looked down. “Do you…really like me that way?” He asked her awkwardly. Serena smirked and leaned in, giving Ash a kiss on the lips. Ash hummed with slight surprise at first, before leaning into it and wrapping his arms around her. Clemont had to cover up Bonnie’s innocent eyeballs to save her the pain of seeing such things. Serena opened her eyes and broke the kiss, before staring lovingly into Ash’s brown eyes with a giddy little smirk. “Does that answer your question?” She asked. Ash smiled as a blush formed on his face.
“Is it over?” Clemont asked, clearly scarred for life.
With that determined, Ash took his leave. And waiting for him nearby, was Iris and Cilan.
“Ash smiled excitedly as he saw Cilan. “Hey! I didn’t know you’d be here!” Ash reacted, high-fiving him.
“Iris invited me to stop by when I found out about the news.” He reacted. “Besides…I got to take the Subway again!” He declared excitedly.
Ash sighed and looked at Iris. “You lured him here on purpose…didn’t you?” Ash asked.
“Come on, Ash. It’ll be like old times! At least for a few hours.” Iris told him.
Ash chuckled. “Fine.” He replied, amused.
They took off walking through the city and outside of the area, visiting Decalore on their way to Alola. They had a map this time, which meant they knew some shortcuts to where they wanted to go this time around. The group felt more confident with this map. Why he didn’t have the map out the first time he traveled, was beyond him. “I’ve never been to Alola before. It sounds beautiful.” Cilan admitted.
“I think you’ll love it!” Ash declared, throwing his fist into the air. “It’s warm and it’s split into 4 different islands. One of them has a volcano on it!” Ash told him.
“Oh! Which one has the volcano on it?” Cilan asked.
Ash pointed to it. “The middle one on the left. It’s giant.” Ash admitted.
“Okay. Noted. Let’s NOT go to the middle island on the left.” Cilan declared.
Ash turned to Cilan. “...Seriously?” Ash asked.
Iris raised an eyebrow. “The volcano is likely dormant.” Iris told them.
“But that’s the thing: They make you THINK they’re dormant…And then…” Cilan grabbed Iris’s shoulders. “They become active and destroy everything in its path!” Cilan reacted, throwing his arms around. “All that work…for nothing!” Cilan reacted, cupping his own cheeks in distress.
Iris chuckled and poked his side. “You’re so dramatic.” She teased.
Cilan jumped and moved away from Iris.
Ash saw that, and smirked. “Yeah, come on Cilan.” Ash walked up and poked his side as well. “Relax.” He teased.
Cilan pushed their hands away. “Don’t tickle me.” He ordered softly, quickening his pace.
“Cilan you’re-” Ash scrunched up his face as he heard Cilan yelp and flop onto the dirt.
Iris doubled over and pointed at him, laughing her head off.
“Gonna fall over…” Ash muttered to himself with a sigh.
Cilan groaned and attempted to get himself up. “Thanks Ash…” He muttered, dusting himself off. “Stupid rock.” Cilan muttered, looking at the big, wide rock that took up the road.
When they made it to Alola, they ended up heading to the very island that Cilan didn’t want to go on. And though Cilan wasn’t pleased, he did have to admit: The island is gorgeous! And the flowers! The pokémon! It’s a wonderful place to explore!
Ash wished Cilan and Iris farewell, before going to meet up with his friends from this region.
Lana, Kiawe, Lillie, Sophocles and Mallow were all waiting for him to arrive in Hau’oli City. When he showed up, all his friends cheered and sprinted up to him.
“Hi guys!” Ash reacted excitedly at first. Though all of his excitement quickly diminished when he realized how close they were getting to him. Ash went from chuckling eagerly, to shouting in horror in a matter of seconds.
He felt as the group practically doggy-piled him to the ground, making a big puff of dust in the air. The group all got off of Ash, and surrounded him from above.
“On 3!” Mallow declared.
“1!” They all said at the same time.
Ash tilted his head, confused.
“2!” They all counted, kneeling down.
Ash registered their hand signals, and grew tense. “W-WAIT!”
“3!” They all started tickling Ash everywhere they could reach. The armpits, the sides, the belly, the feet, the neck, 10 hands on multiple different ticklish spots.
“BAHAHAhahaha! Guhuhuhuys!” He yelled.
“Welcome back tickle attack!” They all declared.
“Nihihice to sehehehee yohohou toohohohoo!” Ash replied.
They stopped tickling and Lillie offered him a hand. “Help up?” She asked.
Ash smiled and took her hand. He got up onto his feet and got patted on the shoulders and hat while being nudged and poked. Meanwhile, someone else had walked up and offered him a fistbump. “You alright, Ash?” The person asked.
Ash smiled and fistbumped him. “Yeah! I feel great!” He replied.
“Glad to have you back home, Ash.” He bent down to pick up something. “And congratulations on your win!” Professor Kokui reacted, offering him his hat back.
Ash lit up upon looking at it, and felt his own head. “W-Wha?!” He reacted for a moment, before chuckling awkwardly. “I-I guess it came off.” Ash admitted as he took the hat and put it on his head. “And thanks! It’s still hard to think after all that. So much has happened today.” Ash admitted.
“I imagine it is.” Kukui replied.
Lillie gasped and started clapping her hands. “Do you want to stay for a while?” She asked. Ash was taken aback. “R-Really?” Ash reacted.
Mallow squealed. “Yeah, stay! At least until you get back on your feet?” She asked next.
Professor Kukui smiled brightly. “I would be more than happy to provide you with food and a bed!” He replied. “I could even make you some taco rice!” Kukui offered.
Ash gasped and grew starry-eyed. “That would be awesome!” He reacted.
The group went to the training school and spent some time together. While Professor Kukui was making Ash some food, the kids were all chatting up a storm in the living room! Burnet got to chat with the kids for a bit before helping her husband cook, while Lillie got a chance to snuggle with Pikachu for a while! Kiawe got to listen to all of Ash’s fighting strategies while out in the arena, while Mallow talked Ash’s ear off while he was doing his laundry. It was nice to be back in Alola for the day. It gave Ash a chance to decompress and really come to terms with what it really meant to be the world champion. The team reassured him that despite the sudden status change, Ash will always be one of the students in the Alola Training School.
When Ash finished eating, he packed up his clothes from the dryer and said a final farewell to his friends. Though, this farewell felt a bit harder than the rest. He didn’t really want to go yet. But…he knew that if he stayed for a bit longer, he would likely stay forever. So, he took his chance and struck out on his own again.
He walked through Alola on his own, and walked himself back to the bridge connecting Alola to Hoenn. He took his time walking the bridge, wishing all 4 of the Alola islands good luck before walking the bridge to Hoenn. He followed the bridge into the little city, and gasped when he saw Max and May.
“Ash!” May reacted, hugging him tightly.
“Hi May!” Ash reacted, hugging her back.
“Hi Ash!” Max yelled, hugging him too.
Ash let go of May and hugged him back, before giving him a fistbump. “Hey Max!” Ash reacted.
“Well look who it is…” Someone nearby said.
Ash looked up, and smiled brightly when he saw him…Brock…one his most loyal travel buddies. “Hi Brock!” Ash reacted, fistbumping his fist.
“Hey Ash. Not bad out there. Not bad at all!” Brock said, slapping the bill of Ash’s hat. Ash laughed and adjusted his hat, before poking Brock a few times in the sides and ribs. This made Brock laugh and back up. “Ihi was visiting Hoenn for a bit, and wanted to walk with you to Sinnoh when you’re ready.” Brock admitted.
“Alright. But I wanna visit first! I’ve been traveling around to all the regions I’ve visited!” Ash declared, fistbumping the air in front of him. “I’ve seen so many friends all at once…It’s getting a little tiring.” Ash admitted.
Brock laughed. “I can only imagine.”
“Find any cute girls while I was gone?” Ash asked.
Brock laughed. “Yeah! Lots of cute girls!” Brock admitted.
Ash laughed and grew teasy. “You gonna marry any of them yet?” Ash teased with a poke.
Brock jumped and chuckled awkwardly, scratching the back of his head as a tear of sweat fell down his forehead. “W-Well…” He muttered, unsure what to reply. “Come on, Brock. What about Nurse Joy?” Ash asked.
Brock widened his eyes and looked at Ash as he dropped his jaw. “Wha- Seriously?!” Brock reacted.
“Which one?” May asked with a giggle.
“Y-Yeah! That too! There’s so many Nurse Joys’, I-I don’t know which one to pick!” Brock admitted.
Ash laughed and nudged him a bit.
Brock narrowed his already-narrow eyes at Ash, sending Ash a little warning look.
“Uh oh…” Max reacted, whispering something to his sister as they walked.
Ash looked over at Brock, and quickly noticed his look. “Oh…Uh…” Ash took off running down the road. “YOU’LL NEVER CATCH ME ALIVE!” Ash shouted as he sprinted away.
Brock took off running after him, starting up a chase scene around the town. Max giggled and looked up at May. “Can I run around too?” Max asked.
May sighed in slight annoyance, but let him do what he wanted. “Sure. Go ahead.” She replied.
Max took off running the moment he was given permission, and began moving between chasing Brock and chasing Ash. “WHAT SIDE ARE YOU ON?!” Ash asked.
“IT’S EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF!” Brock yelled before starting to chase Max.
Max screeched and tried to run as fast as he could, screaming and yelling helplessly.
Eventually though, Ash came to save the little boy by picking up Max and carrying him away while sprinting farther away from Brock. Ash made a few turns through the buildings while he figured out a safe area to land. When he felt they were far enough away, Ash put Max down behind a tree in the park, and fluffed his black hair a bit before taking off again. “There ya go.” Ash said. “Thanks Ash!” Max yelled, giggling and watching as Ash kept going forward through the buildings. But…Max’s confidence quickly dwindled the moment he heard a coin drop from the other side of the tree. He turned around and looked around. “Who’s there?!” Max yelled.
But a dark shadow was moving closer from right behind him…
“Boo!” Brock picked up Max and playfully tickled his sides. “Kitchy kitchy kitchy koo!”
Max squealed and wiggled around in his grasp, occasionally squeaking in between his newfound laughter. “eEEEK! NAHAhahaha! EEK! B-Brahahahack! EEHEE! HEHEHEEEK!” Max laughed.
Brock laughed almost evilly as he walked Max back to May again. “Here. Free brother.” Brock said, handing Max over to May like he was a toddler.
“Hey!” Max complained, crossing his arms, visibly annoyed.
May laughed and took Max back, putting him down and letting him walk beside her.
Brock eventually caught Ash and tickled him the entire time he walked back to the main path where May and Max were. May and Max giggled as Ash’s laughter told them roughly how much closer they were getting back to them.
Eventually, Ash would hug Max and May and wish them well, before taking off with Brock to travel over to Sinnoh. Brock had been his traveling buddy back in Sinnoh as well. So it made sense that Brock wanted to visit Sinnoh again.
It took a few days of catching up and overcoming the wilderness together, for them to finally make it to Sinnoh. Brock and Ash eventually found Dawn hanging out in Twinleaf Town at her house.
“Brock! ASH!” Dawn reacted, pulling Ash into a hug. “I missed you so much!” She told him.
Ash hugged her back. “I missed you too.” He admitted. “How’s Aipom doing?” Ash asked.
“Well…O told me he’s doing really well.” Dawn admitted. “I miss him sometimes though…” She admitted.
Ash nodded. “I do too.” Ash admitted. “But…Look who’s still here!” Ash brought out his pokéball and let out one of his pokémon. The Pokémon leaped around and let out an excited “Buizel!” as he jumped into Dawn’s arms.
“BUIZEL!” She reacted, hugging Buizel as tightly as she could without hurting him. Buizel started shoving his nose into her neck. “Hehehehe! Ihihi mihissed you too, Buizel.” She admitted. “Noho need to worry! I’m okay.” Dawn replied.
Ash and Brock looked at each other with slight nervousness. Whenever Dawn says ‘No need to worry’...That usually makes everyone around her worry even more for her. But…they know Dawn never means to make them worry. They know what she’s capable of doing on her own. She spent at least a year with them just proving this. So, they let her have this moment of happiness.
Ash walked up and took Buizel back for a moment. “Hold on…” Ash put Buizel onto his shoulder before grabbing out treats for Buizel. “There. Here:” Ash gave her a few treats. “Hide these in your pockets.” Ash told her.
“Uh…Okay. Why?” She asked, putting them into her pockets.
“Because there’s a trick I taught him that I want to show you.” Ash admitted. For a second, Ash had noticed she had put a treat into her vest pocket. “Are…you sure you want that there?” Ash asked.
Dawn smiled. “I’m sure! No need to worry.” She replied. Ash just smiled, knowing what was going to happen.
When Dawn was ready, Ash tied a blindfold onto Buizel’s eyes. “Okay. Go!” Ash told him. Buizel hopped off of Ash’s shoulder and started navigating the world blindly with just his nose. He followed the smell of the treats, and crawled up to Dawn right away. It was evident he had done this before…because Buizel didn’t even need to touch Dawn in order to know where to climb. He just climbed up like it was no issue!
Dawn was ecstatic to see how Buizel was doing this. But things took a funny turn when Buizel stuffed his nose into her vest pocket. Dawn squealed and doubled over, almost dropping Buizel in the process. “eeeEEHEHEEE! Hahahaha!” She laughed.
Ash scratched the back of his head awkwardly. “I tried to warn you.” Ash admitted.
“Buihihizehel! Ihihit’s ticklyhyhyhyhy!” Dawn reacted, covering her mouth. Buizel eventually managed to get the treat out of her left pocket, before moving to her right pocket. “Buizel!” Dawn yelled, before fully succumbing to laughter as Buizel dug into the right pocket above her right side. “Buihihizehehel plehehehease!” She laughed.
Ash chuckled as he watched. “Cool trick, huh?” Ash teased.
Brock looked at Ash with a suspicious face. “You’d better not be pulling that trick on me anytime soon.” Brock warned.
“Why? Because you tickled me earlier and I might want revenge?” Ash joked.
“Well…Yeah.” Brock replied. “Unlike you, I grew up with many siblings who did that stuff for fun.” He mentioned.
Ash looked at Brock with slight surprise at first, before lowering his head with a smirk. Lowering his head caused his hat bill to top down, which made a shadow form around his eyes. “Maybe I will…maybe I won’t.” Ash said as he snuck a couple treats into his right pocket as he walked by.
Brock looked over at Ash from the other side of his shoulder, not noticing this sneak attack. “Wha- What’s that supposed to mean!?” Brock asked, growing visibly angry. “Am I gonna have to check my pockets every 5 minutes?!” He asked.
Ash shook his head. “Nope. My treats are right here.” Ash reminded him.
Buizel would quickly smell treats on Brock, but didn’t really strike until he was allowed. Though the poor thing was quite tempted to. But, Buizel was a good boy and waited.
“So…which path gets us to Johto?” Ash asked.
“I…think this one.” Brock pointed to the left path.
“Okay. Let’s go!” Ash declared, saying the word on accident as he sprinted away. But Ash paused mid-run when he heard Brock’s sudden laughter. “Wahait up! You didn’t happen to add treats to Brock’s pocket, did you?” Dawn asked as she pointed to Buizel, who was digging his nose into Brock’s right pocket.
Ash shrugged his shoulders with a little smirk. “Maaaaybe…”  Ash teased.
Brock was kicking his feet, laughing as he tried to push Buizel off. “Hahaha- Buihihizel gehehet ohoff! Hahahaha!”
Ash and Dawn laughed for a bit before he called Buizel off him. When Buizel got off, Ash fished out the lost treat from Brock’s pocket and gave it to Buizel. When Buizel was done, Ash and the gang walked themselves to a few shops to collect food for the upcoming trip the boys were going to take. They loaded up their backpacks, washed up their clothes, and fed their pokémon before continuing on.
When they made it to the end of town, they opened their map and identified the road that led towards Johto. And as the day began to set, Ash and Brock gave Dawn a big goodbye hug and wished each other well as they went their separate ways.
Ash and Brock hung out for the duration of their trip to Johto. They had campfires together, shared food, looked after their pokémon together, and further caught up with each other. Brock told Ash about his time in Pewter City, and what he had been doing up until that point. It was interesting hearing about Brock’s journey to becoming a pokémon doctor and all the experience he’s had developed while working. Though he had heard a lot of it before, Ash still enjoyed listening to him talk about his experiences.
Ash told him about the friends he had made, about Goh and his mentorship towards him, and about his trip to become the pokémon master. He told him about how much Brock inspired him, and how much he had learned from Brock over the years. Even after all this time, Ash made sure that Brock knew he would always be one of his closest buddies.
When they arrived in Johto, Ash and Brock traveled around the familiar place, remembering some of the landmarks that Ash hadn’t seen in ages. And though the boys took time to further appreciate the Johto region, Brock had begun wondering where Tracey could be.
Ash tilted his head. “You don’t remember?” Ash asked. “He’s in Pallet town, helping Professor Oak.” Ash told him.
“Right, right…I guess that’s true.” he replied. “Wanna go over to Kanto?” Brock asked him.
Ash smiled and nodded his head. “Sure! Can’t wait!” He replied happily. Brock and Ash walked themselves over to Kanto, and made their way through Mount Silver, down the trails and over to Pallet town: Ash’s hometown. Ash stopped in front of Pallet town, overwhelmed with contentment. It had felt like a long time since he felt familiar with his surroundings. And though this journey was filled with nostalgic memories and friendship reunions…nothing really beats the feeling of home.
Ash took a pitstop to Professor Oak’s lab, and chatted with Professor Oak for a while. “Congratulations on becoming world champion!” Professor Oak greeted.
“Thanks Professor Oak!” Ash replied.
“Ash! Is that you?!” Someone called behind him. Ash turned around, and was immediately bombarded by a hug. “ASH!” the person reacted, hugging him tightly.
“Misty! Hi!” Ash reacted, hugging her back.
“How have you been?!” She asked.
“I’m great! I won the pokémon championship!” Ash declared excitedly.
“Really? I had no idea. It’s not like it was playing on every TV, or anything…” Misty muttered in a sassy tone.
Ash rolled his eyes. “Still as sassy as ever…” Ash muttered.
“And you’re still the same moron I remember.” She added.
Someone else was also staring at Ash from nearby. “Ash? Ash Ketchum?” He clarifies.
“Yes! That’s right.” Professor Oak replied.
Tracey put a tray of stuff onto the table and walked up, offering him a fistbump. “Glad to see you back.” He told him.
“Tracey!” He bumped his fist. “Glad to finally be back.” Ash replied.
He adjusted his lab coat and picked up Oak’s tray of things.
“Have you seen your mother yet?” Oak asked Ash.
Ash shook his head. “Not yet.” He replied.
“She’s been awaiting your arrival for some time now.” He told him. “Don’t keep her waiting.” He warned.
Ash nodded his head and looked at the group. “I guess I should see my mom now.” Ash told them. “Want us to walk you over?” Brock asked.
“We can catch up on the way!” Misty added.
“Sure! Tracey, you coming?” Ash asked.
Tracey shook his head. “Sorry, Ash. I still have work to do. Wanna catch up later?” Tracey offered.
“Yeah! That’d be great!” Ash replied.
“Great! I’ll see you then.” He said, before disappearing behind the bookshelf.
Ash walked with Misty and Brock out of Professor Oak’s laboratory, and walked towards the place Ash had always called home. He stared at the door for a moment, and took in a deep breath.
“Okay…Here we go.” Ash knocked on the door and waited patiently for his mom to answer the door…

Hunting season
Look at you go! I had no clue my cute little lee could run that fast! Maybe it's the fear, adrenaline, or a mix of both, but after you poked me one too many times, it was game on. You should be grateful I gave you a head start, or else I'd already have my lips wrapped across your tummy~
But I'm honestly impressed! You've jumped over my furniture and slid underneath chairs, all in an effort to evade your ticklish fate!
But what's this?!?! You've ran into the bedroom? Awww! Poor thing, trying to lock me out. This is my house love... I have the keyysssss!
I'm in now, darling~ nowhere left to run... Oh gosh, look at how adorable you are... slowly backing into the corner, begging; your hands raised into the air as if you're surrendering. But it's too late, love, I want you. And now I have you, and I'm savouring this lovely look of fear on you as I close in and you sink towards the floor.
What a good display of skill. But I came out on top... and now I am on top... Straddling your hips~ You ready my love? I just wanna have a little nibble...

Catch-a-Cas
👻Another day of #AugTickleTober 2024! 🎃
*Day 2: Chase*
Fandom: Supernatural
Summary: Dean chases a giddy, nervous Cas after deciding to tickle him a little
A/N: ft. lee!Cas, ler!Dean, destiel, tickling, fluff, le gasp* another supernatural fic? what is this… 2014?
Words: 211 … [read on ao3]
“This is childish, Dean!”
“You bet your ass it is!” Dean hollered with glee, skidding to a stop as he rounded the corner and took in his new obstacle. “You’re the one running away!”
Cas gripped the back of a chair as he kept the long table between them. “Dean!” He pressed. “Seriously.”
“Oh, I’m deadly serious.” Dean wasn’t even attempting to hide his grin. He feigned one way, then the next, watching with amusement as Cas reacted each time.
“Dean!” Cas scolded.
Then, with the ease of a practiced fence-hopper, Dean launched himself over the side of the table.
Castiel squawked in surprise — adorable, Dean thought — and scrambled backwards toward the other hall. Dean was close on his heels again in an instant, and Cas couldn’t fight the joyful bubbling of laughter beginning to bloom in his chest.
“The longer you run, the longer I’m gonna tickle you!” Dean threatened.
Cas almost turned around right there, but where’s the fun in that?
Their footsteps echoed through the halls for a while longer before they conveniently came to a stop just next to the couch.
“Nohooho Dean wait–”
A scuffle ensued, limbs tangled as laughter bubbled forth from their lips. “You already made me wait running your ass away!”
“Nahahaha ehehehehee!”

Hope you all enjoy! This was my big project and now I can focus on some smaller and fluffier writing pieces ehehe :>

“alhaitham!” kaveh shouted, chasing after his roommate. “get back here!”
how did they get here?
first he was working on a project peacefully. nothing special, just some commission to design a pretty summer home.
so how did he end up chasing alhaitham all over their house?
the scribe stole his favourite pencil! how could he?! he couldn’t care less about alhaitham wanting him to take a “break”. he needed that commission finished asap!
“alhaitham!” he growled, picking up the pace.
“kaveh?” the other mocked, further enraging kaveh.
“i swear if you don’t give me that pencil i’ll have you regret it!” he shouted, more annoyed than ever.
“regret it, how?” alhaitham asked. “i highly doubt your old joints will let you catch up, senior.”
oh that is it!
with one leap of faith, kaveh threw himself at alhaitham, pinning him down to the ground. immediately, his fingers shot at the scribe’s ribs, clawing at them mercilessly and poking between each bone.
alhaitham, to his credit, was somewhat quiet about the whole ordeal, only to break out into loud laughter the second kaveh started to claw at his upper ribs.
“kaveheheheheh!”
“alhaitham!” kaveh snickered, tickling his roommate vigorously. “will you give me back my pencil?”
“nohohohohooo!”
“suit yourself, junior.”

TickleTober2024/Day 06 - Order
Grand Chase - Harpe x Ronan
Tumblr media
Ronan crossed his arms in front of his chest, sitting back on top of Harpe’s lap while looking down at him like a predator does to its prey. “I’m waiting,” he added, tapping his arm with his finger.
Harpe  shuddered at that comment, pressing his eyes shut and scrunching up his shoulders as if he was getting scolded. “B-but… young master, I-”
“It’s an order, Harpe,” Ronan interrupted him, clearly feeling very proud of abusing his powers. This wasn’t the first time Ronan ‘ordered’ him to do… unusual things, but he could clearly see the intentions behind that order. Why else would he request such a thing?
Harpe sighed in defeat, laying back down. “F-fine, you don’t need to order me,” he muttered.
“It seems I, in fact, do,” Ronan added, leaning forward and resting his hands over Harpe’s stomach, feeling his body tremble with anticipation, “since you didn’t obey me yet.”
This wasn’t about authority or loyalty, Harpe thought, knowing he would only dig a deeper grave if he dared to say anything if not what his young master wished to hear. His body, however, wasn’t exactly convinced.
Harpe clenched his hands, but it was like his arms weighed a ton whenever he tried to lift them. He knew what was going to happen, he could see Ronan’s hands poised to strike - how was he supposed to ignore all the red flags and simply lift his arms like that?
“I-I can-”
“Of course you do,” Ronan said, stopping his servant from finishing that sentence as he reached out to one of his wrists, pulling it up and pinning it on the mattress, high above Harpe’s head. The latter’s cheeks burned in a bright shade of pink as Ronan towered over him. “You just need a little push.”
“W-wahAHAHAIT!” Harpe laughed, planting his heels on the mattress and arching his back, nearly losing himself to a single swipe from his lowest rib to the middle of his armpit. “Y-young mahahaster, plehehease!!”
“Don’t beg me, Harpe,” Ronan hummed passionately, loving watching that panicked expression unfold right before his eyes, “you disobeyed your master, we can’t have that, can we?”
“I- ahAHAha, I dihihidn’t!” Harpe whined, gripping at Ronan’s wrist with his free hand.
As Ronan continued to slowly wiggle his fingers over the unprotected spot, Harpe thrashed his head and pressed his eyes shut, holding onto the faint faith that any of that would make the tickling more bearable, would make him less sensitive. Oh, what a sweet lie.
“Don’t worry,” Ronan mused lovingly, shooting his hand down to poke at his servant’s ribs before moving it up again, tickling his underarm some more, “I know how well you do your role… that’s why I’m going to let you off with a lighter sentence ~”
“T-Thihihis is the wohohorst!” Harpe giggled, that embarrassed smile seemingly glued to his face at that point - just like Ronan’s hand to his body.
The young master shook his head, leaning even closer to his servant as he grinned down at him. “Now, since you couldn’t follow my last order, I’ll give you a new one to make up for your mistake: laugh for me, Harpe ~”
Tumblr media
A/N: I made this one for all the gc players in our community - which is me, myself and I. Yes, very self indulgent, but I don't care. Lol
Anyway, thanks for sticking by for another day, teehee, hope to see you tomorrow as well!

hi! i was thinking about the difference in kaveh’s reaction in a parade of providence’s ending when it is alhaitham vs the traveler telling him about his father with relation to sachin. with traveler, kaveh readily and openly admits that he still feels guilty anyway. with alhaitham, he curiously doesn’t, and I wonder if that’s conscious or unconscious. Does he know, however subconsciously, that alhaitham disagrees with him feeling guilty over his father’s death, or that alhaitham was trying to help him overcome that guilt? but he is not ready to let go of it so he specifically doesn’t mention it to not provoke a discussion and give alhaitham the chance to further show him reasons why he shouldn’t feel guilty? both to avoid being swayed and more arguing about a painful topic… (or maybe he just got distracted by alhaitham’s teasing about ‘thank you’s. or maybe the teasing was alhaitham’s olive branch and a way to go back to their usual banter because he knew the new info was still not enough and kaveh wasn’t ready yet…)
anyway, just wondering about how kaveh, while having no problem discussing delicate and private matters with alhaitham (this conversation, and then when he was homeless at the tavern) presumably because he trusts him and still feels close to him in a familiar way, is very, very careful to not mention his guilt still… could also be trauma after their final thesis argument, maybe?
hiya!! thank you so much for this ask!! HAPPY ONE YEAR TO A PARADE OF PROVIDENCE!! <333
you raise extremely valid and scrummy points, thank you for giving me an opportunity to talk about this event hehehe
i think it's deliberately ambiguous as to kaveh's thinking here, as you've said, with the traveler, kaveh openly admits that although his father's depressive slump after the interdarshan championship and him joining a research project in the desert wasn't directly connected to him, rather it was sachin's influence, kaveh still believes he was the catalyst for this chain of events, and therefore he believes he is still to blame
Tumblr media
with alhaitham, however, this mention of guilt is omitted, and kaveh thanks alhaitham for letting him know about 'all this', which reads not only as alhaitham letting kaveh know about sachin's influence over his father, but also as a reference to their discussion about their respective philosophies - with alhaitham concluding that their issue is not who is right or wrong in their approach to life, because as is concluded within this event - 'correctness' is a subjective way of thinking; alhaitham being 'right' about egoism, or kaveh being 'right' about altruism, ultimately doesn't matter, but, to alhaitham, what does matter is sacrificing oneself for the sake of a subjective ideal - this is a fate he does not want for kaveh
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the difference in context between the traveller telling kaveh about sachin versus alhaitham, is that kaveh knows that alhaitham is looking into sachin but he doesn't know why alhaitham is specifically interested as he (rightfully) knows that alhaitham isn't interested in nihilism. this contradiction in alhaitham's behaviour is such an issue for kaveh that he repeatedly questions it within the remainder of the event after discovering alhaitham's note, seemingly about sachin, but addressed to kaveh in a language only they know. when the traveller reveals the news to kaveh, this context is removed, and the connection between the discovery and alhaitham is severed. the element of personal has been omitted.
when alhaitham tells kaveh the news, however, kaveh questions why alhaitham is interested in sachin's research, only for alhaitham to tell him that it isn't because of philosophies at all - it's due to sachin's connection to kaveh's father. this is personal. alhaitham is the only one who knows about the source of kaveh's guilt, in comparison to the traveller and paimon, who kaveh evaded confiding in. it's revealed to kaveh here that alhaitham has personally looked into this matter for kaveh's sake - but the question left unanswered is why?
in terms of kaveh's understanding of alhaitham, this is a pretty big deal, since kaveh interprets alhaitham as constantly criticising his ideals and his philosophies (whereas, alhaitham is actually highlighting the detriment of kaveh's pursuit of his ideals). alhaitham openly stating that they have moved on from asserting 'correctness' over each other, and that this isn't the issue, actively prompts the question of what the actual issue is - coupled with this is the impact of alhaitham's actions in this event. alhaitham leaves kaveh a cryptic note about the idealist never being able to accomplish happiness for themselves if they detriment themselves for the sake of achieving happiness for others, which kaveh (rightfully) doesn't understand in relation to sachin. and then alhaitham reveals to kaveh that he looked into his father's disappearance, and kaveh is not the sole instigator as he believes himself to be.
your point about kaveh's guilt never openly being discussed is crucial here i think in terms of subtext. the source of his guilt, being his belief he lead to his father's passing, is questioned by paimon and the traveler, to which kaveh evades telling them. alhaitham is the only person who does know the reason kaveh detriments himself in his altruism, as shown in their argument in their akademiya days. alhaitham looking into sachin must tell kaveh something, but again, it isn't revealed exactly what kaveh thinks, and alhaitham never reveals the reasons why he looked into it, and what he hopes to achieve.
although i think this is more due to narrative reasons, the wounds left from their argument are definitely a factor in this evasion of mentioning kaveh's guilt - a parade of providence deliberately highlights the miscommunication between alhaitham and kaveh, and this is solely due to their past argument. kaveh not mentioning his guilt could be because he doesn't fully understand why alhaitham has looked into this incident for his sake, and alhaitham says nothing more about it because he knows it's still too early for kaveh to process - narratively, i think this is what's at play here
alhaitham teasing him is definitely a way to revert back to their normalcy, however, i also think it serves as a distraction - and it works!! kaveh is relatively cheery in comparison to how upset (as described by paimon) he is when the traveler tells him the news. narratively wise, i think it's a good place to leave it as nothing is inherently confirmed - the potentiality for kaveh and alhaitham separating is eradicated; kaveh and alhaitham continue living with each other, and kaveh is seemingly no longer intent on moving out of alhaitham's house, having thanked alhaitham for his words, rather than finding them 'infuriating'. this is an open ending and gives their narrative arcs freedom to potentially (hopefully) be developed in the future
(from the leaks, i'm going to say that the 'good' ending, or the ending that coincides with the arc that these characters are undertaking, is the ending in which it is alhaitham who tells kaveh of sachin's involvement with his father - i'll have more to say about this at another time!!)
Thank you again for your ask?? Your points were really insightful into their messy little psyches!! Everything you said rings true <333

Title: How to Relax After A Life-Threatening Quest Summary: The trio struggles with adapting to normal camp life after the events of The Lightning Thief. Annabeth makes a plan, Grover can smell emotions, and Percy gets tickled within an inch of his life. Word Count: 1851 My gift for @vallee-ace for the @squealing-santa event! I hope you enjoy it :)
The days between the quest’s official end and the end of summer should have fallen away quickly. Going from sleeping minutes at a time in cramped, harsh conditions to a lush, comforting bed with open windows and absolute silence should have been a welcome reprieve. His mother’s letter, scrawled in her familiar script, should have been enough to quiet the nightmares of her petrified face, fading to golden dust.
Only—
“We’re soldiers,” Annabeth said, barely an inch over five foot, when Percy complained about how cold his room feels with no one else around. “We get past it.”
“Uh huh,” Percy said slowly, looking her up and down. “You were so tired you sacrificed the plate instead of the food at lunch today.”
Annabeth’s glare was interrupted by Grover’s panpipes, screeching off key. Percy flinched and looked over—Grover’s was attempting to charm some strawberries into growing, but instead they were cringing into the ground and appeared to be shrinking. Katie Gardener frantically gestured for him to stop. Grover, taking her waving arms as encouragement, blew harder and the already pitchy notes jumped up an octave.
A handful of nearby campers shouted complaints.
“Come on,” Annabeth muttered, already making the trek over to Grover. Percy, who had been hoping to move further away from the piercing sound, followed at a much slower pace.
“Ok,” Annabeth said once the panpipes had been safely confiscated. She looked as serious as she did about anything—which, for her, meant like she was ready to go to war. “Time to take a nap.”
. . .
It was unsurprisingly easy to fall back to quest patterns. Percy’s cabin was a guaranteed place of semi-privacy—they stripped the blankets from the bed and laid them in the corner of the room, with a clear view of the exit and backs comfortably against the wall behind them. There was a brief discussion of setting up a watch, but Annabeth cut down that thought quickly—there wasn’t any actual danger, and the whole point was to catch up on sleep.
Grover collapsed to the side of the makeshift bed with a grunt. Percy half expected to hear snores within seconds, but Grover valiantly opened his eyes and bleated. Percy may not have spoke Satyr, but “hurry up!” was clear enough.
“After you, seaweed brain,” Annabeth said, eyes darting around the room, taking in Percy’s discarded minotaur horn on the ground. Percy knew that she was looking for any missed threats. Once she nodded to herself, satisfied, he joined Grover on the ground.
Grover, who sought heat like a lizard in the desert, immediately latched onto his arm. Annabeth crawled down on Percy’s other side, her sheathed knife carefully going within grabbing distance. Her body laid stiffly, but she always was until sleep forced her shoulders to untense.
It was cramped, and already felt a bit sticky in the summer heat, but infinitely better than the cloying softness of the actual bed.
In the back of Percy’s mind, he knew that if any monsters were to attack while he slept, the two next to him would be there when he woke up. He closed his eyes.
Seconds later, he opened them again.
“Why are you sad?” Grover mumbled, sniffing at Percy’s arm. Percy wondered if he was dreaming of crying empanadas.
“Percy’s sad?” Annabeth repeated, voice groggy from almost-sleep.
“He is not!” Percy insisted, mortified. “Grover is just sleep talking.”
“Why are you sad?” Annabeth asked, ignoring him.
“Satrys can smell emotions,” Grover bleated, blinking awake in offense. He inhaled deeply, more intent. “You are sad!” he exclaimed. “Sadness smells like flat soda.”
“Look,” Percy blushed, “It’s nothing, alright?”
“If it’s nothing, then just tell us so we can deal with it and go to sleep.”
That was Annabeth—always logical, even at her most comforting.
“I hate flat soda,” Grover agreed.
Unable to find a way out of it, and too tired to think of something sufficiently witty to make them lose interest, Percy was left with the uncomfortable feeling of telling the truth.
“It’s just—I never really made friends at any of my schools. And now I have you two, but summer’s ending soon. And I’ll just be back at a new school. Again.”
For a second no one said anything, and Percy’s mortification forced its way through his sleep addled brain.
“But anyway, I’m really tired, so let’s head to bed and—”
“Iris messages exist for a reason,” Annabeth cut in. “I was planning on calling you two on a weekly basis to begin with, but you can call too.”
Percy stared.
“You were planning on calling me?” he repeated dumbly. Annabeth narrowed her eyes.
“Were you not planning on calling me?” she asked.
“Er,” Percy said. “I don’t have golden drachmas?” It was easier than admitting he hadn’t realized he was allowed to call.
“I’ll give you some,” Grover said happily. “Satrys don’t really use them among ourselves, so I’ve got a stash. You better call me too though!”
“We’ll do three way calls,” Annabeth said firmly, like there was nothing to discuss. And maybe there wasn’t.
Warm and settled in a way that had nothing to do with the summer heat, Percy laid down. Grover once again grabbed at his arm, and to Percy’s shock, Annabeth grabbed his other. He felt his face heat up as Annabeth laid her head against him.
Percy couldn’t see Grover’s face, but he felt the satry’s smirk against his skin.
Shut up, he thought fiercely, hoping Grover could somehow smell the thought.
Then Percy felt Grover carefully shift so his hand was delicately placed around Percy’s ribs. Percy froze.
“You know, Percy still smells a little sad,” Grover said to Annabeth, who frowned and glanced up. Percy pressed his lips together, already feeling them twitch. Grover’s fingers, concealed by the blanket, started gently scratching at Percy’s side.
“No, I doN’T!” Percy tried to deny, voice squeaking when Grover gave up on gentle and squeezed. Annabeth’s eyes lit up in understanding. Grover and Annabeth shared a mischievous look that made Percy gulp. “I mean come on, we’re all tired here, aren’t we?”
“I feel wide awake,” Annabeth corrected. “Don’t you Grover?”
“Wide awake,” Grover echoed. “Never less sleepy in my life.”
“And we’d be bad friends if we let Percy go to bed sad,” she continued, poking Percy’s side and making him flinch into Grover.
“Absolutely,” Grover agreed, wiggling his fingers in a way that made Percy jolt right back over to Annabeth.
“Come on,” Percy complained, though the effect was lessened by the boyish giggles that were coming out of his mouth. He felt jittery in an exhilarated sort of way, like he was about to practice sword fighting against a particularly good opponent. “This isn’t fair!”
“You fought the god of war and won,” Annabeth reminded him, grabbing one of his flailing arms and pulling it up over his head. Her nails were short and blunt, but Percy felt them scratch over the cotton of his Camp Half Blood t-shirt and immediately fell into full body laughter. On his other side, Grover began poking up and down his ribs and sides, leaving Percy defenseless to the squeaks and squeals coming from his mouth. “We’re just trying to cheer you up.”
“We can’t let you walk around smelling like sadness,” Grover agreed, smiling himself.
Percy’s witty response—he wasn’t sure exactly what it was yet, but he was sure he’d figure it out by the time his mouth was open—was cut off by his laughter jumping ten decibels. Annabeth’s hand paused on his knees, her own lips twitching.
“Careful or else someone might think you’re ticklish,” she said sarcastically. A jolt went down Percy’s spine.
“I’m not!” Percy insisted, voice clear from laughter during the slight break from tickling, but cracking all the same. Annabeth gave him a look as if he had said something particularly stupid. Grover bleated.
“Really?” Annabeth asked. Percy felt her hand shift on his knee, and his heart skipped a beat when he felt Grover reach over towards his other. “You’re not ticklish. Not at all?”
Percy thought briefly of begging for mercy.
“Nope,” he said instead.
As if they had practiced, Annabeth let go of his arm and dug into his left knee with both hands at the exact moment Grover started scribbling his nails above and below his right knee. Percy’s laughter boomed out of him. His legs kicked out reflexively. His arms shot down and tried to grab at Annabeth and Grover, but they had four hands to hold down his two, and no amount of squirming deterred them.
“Let’s think of this logically,” Annabeth said in the matter-of-fact voice that Percy had originally found irritating and now found endearing. “If I do this,” she squeezed his knee in a series of quick pulses that had Percy screeching, “and you laugh, what do you think that means Percy?”
“It means you’re mean!” Percy somehow forced through his laughter, though it took significantly longer than normal.
“Uh huh,” Annabeth said. “And if Grover—” Grover, abruptly, let go of Percy’s legs and instead reached under Percy’s shirt and scribbled at his stomach, “does that, and you laugh then too, what does that mean?”
It took several seconds for Percy to gather enough breath through his glee to respond.
“It means he’s mean!”
“And what else?” Annabeth said, but Percy let the laughter flow over him and didn’t respond. He felt light and floaty—his mind was further away than it normally was, his entire brain taken up with the feeling of fingers tickling him and the mirth making him squirm around. He was vaguely aware of his friends talking more, but the specific words didn’t reach him. He just laughed and laughed.
“Percy,” Grover chided, drawing the word out just slightly, and it could have been seconds or hours later. At some point the tickling had slowed and he was giggling lightly. “You okay there?”
He nodded before he could think of being dishonest. Both of them had quit tickling him, but Percy could still feel phantom nails on his skin and his laughter hadn’t fully petered out yet. At some point, he must have sat up, and he realized belatedly that he was holding on to Annabeth's hands.
“You two are monsters,” Percy gasped dramatically, falling to his back and making the comforter let out a little puff of air.
“Oh please,” Annabeth scoffed, “I don’t need to smell emotions to see how happy the tickling made you.”
“Monsters,” Percy repeated, steadfastly not meeting anyone’s eyes.
“Well,” Grover said with a quick poke that made Percy squeak, “this monster is exhausted. Goodnight!”
Within seconds, Grover was laying his head against Percy’s shoulders and letting out soft snores. Annabeth sat on his other side but stared at him a moment.
“Still sad, Seaweed Brain?”
“Never been happier, Wise Girl,” Percy said, shooting for a sarcastic tone and missing miserably. Annabeth nodded.
It was the best sleep the three of them had had in a long time.

Day 15: Faking It
Tumblr media
a/n: ler!jin lee!asin — from the lovelytickletober list!
———
"You like it."
"I do not."
Asin, in fact, did.
But why make things easy? Where was the fun in that? Why not make Jin work for his claims? That was far more appealing, Asin thought fervently.
"Has it ever crossed your mind that you might be projecting a bit?" Asin sneered at the redhead, creasing his eyes with a smirk. "I'd reckon so with how much you enjoy tickling me."
Jin breathed amusedly, his breath brushing against Asin's cheek as he hunched forward from where he straddled Asin, matching his gaze with determination. "You're close," he mused.
"Oh?" Now Asin was intrigued, quirking an eyebrow in response.
"You won't like the answer."
"That has never stopped you before."
"Alright," Jin clicked his tongue, chuckling before speaking. "What if I said I like hearing you laugh?"
This.. was not what Asin was expecting. Brain short-circuiting, Asin was at a loss for words, red spreading across his face like wildfire as his mouth hung agape, unable to properly lash out with a response.
"Hm?" This time, it was Jin's turn to smirk, Asin's face still frozen with shock. "Nothing to say for once?"
"Y-You're just.." Asin stumbled his words, unable to fully recover, "an imbecile is what you are! You're lying."
Jin tilted his head, chuckling to himself. "Would you like me to prove it?"
Asin opened his mouth to respond, but his wrack of thoughts stopped him in doing so, caught at an impasse. If he said yes, then he'd be playing right into Asin's hands, but if he said no.. then the fun would end here.
How annoying.
But Jin didn't wait for an answer, his fingers soon running up the length of Asin's sides, coordinated in their movements. Asin's eyes widened at the sudden sensations, giving him no time to make a proper retort, instead giggling uselessly under Jin's hands.
"Ah-!! Ehehehey!" he breathed rapidly, laughter rising to the brim of his throat. The determined look Jin was giving him wasn't helping, making it difficult for Asin to focus on the task at hand.
"You can just say 'no', you know?" Jin reminded him, his hands now kneading the underside of his ribs. "Or do you want to say 'no'?"
I- Ahahaha! GahaHAhaha!" Asin squealed, shaking his head, not wanting to give Jin the satisfaction of a proper answer.
"Well, that's okay," Jin giggled alongside the other as Asin squirmed helplessly, his fingers drumming along the sensitive torso, "I can just prove it to you then."
