A Memorable 4 Days Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga
I embarked on a 4 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. Upon arrival, our team warmly greeted me, ready to begin this incredible journey. On the first day, we crossed the Tizi N’ Tichka pass, admiring the panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. Visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Benhaddou was fascinating. After exploring Ouarzazate and the Rose Valley, I spent the night in the Dades Gorges.
On the second day, after a hearty breakfast, I discovered the Todra Gorges, a perfect spot for a short hike. In the afternoon, we reached Merzouga, where I prepared for an authentic camel trek. I watched the sunset in the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes and spent a memorable night under the stars, enjoying a Berber dinner and drum party, and sleeping in a traditional nomadic tent.
On the third day, after an early wake-up to watch the sunrise, I rode my camel back to the hotel for a shower and breakfast. We then crossed the Tizi N’Tinifift pass and arrived in Ouarzazate, where we stayed overnight.
The fourth day was dedicated to exploring Ouarzazate, including a visit to Kasbah Taourirt. After lunch, we continued through the High Atlas Mountains to the village of Telouet, discovering its rich history and salt mines. Finally, we returned to Marrakech, concluding the 4 days tour from Marrakech.
