TIÑA - I Feel Fine
‘I Feel Fine’ is the new single from London’s Tiña, new on Speedy Wunderground. The track, produced by the label’s Dan Carey and featuring Goat Girl vocalist Lottie Pendlebury, is a dreamy, psych pop gem that recalls some early 90′s brit pop vibe. Listen above.
'I Feel Fine’ is out now digitally and on limited edition 7″ single.

CALEIDOSCOPIO
*
KALÉIDOSCOPE
                  A Germain Nouveau

Pigeonhole release ‘Hollywood, LA, Pt.2′
Windmill veterans Pigeonhole haven’t let lockdown get in the way of them musically, releasing their latest single ‘Hollywood, LA, Pt.2′ late last week. The track is a haunting tale of creepier side to Hollywood, and the power and influence it holds...
We caught up with their frontman, Marko Andić about the single’s release, the struggles of promoting music, and the forthcoming music video.
Tumblr media
How’ve you and the band been over the last few weeks?
Not too shabby, got past the initial brunt of this lockdown. Feels a little too normal now; getting all pseudo-spiritual on my own. I’ve also switched from Stella to Guinness which is no doubt a sign I’ve started to lose it slightly. I really need a haircut. The rest of the band seem to be doing fairly well too, everyone's scattered around London but I haven’t seen them since the “better days.”
What was the inspiration behind your latest single?
Caveats of Hollywood I suppose, not that I’ve experienced them at all but I guess that just adds to the irony. Little bit on Weinstein in there too, there’re quite a few things to pick out, I guess it’s interesting to see what people catch on to and what they miss. It's up to whoever’s listening at the end of the day though.
You’ve mentioned about releasing a music video to accompany track, when can we expect to see that?
Video’s out 5th June. That’s next Friday I think? Lord knows what day it is. The video was all made in isolation by our friend Eve Chadbourn. Was going to be a sort of “lyric-video” initially but thankfully she thwacked that idea out of my head and made this all-round much better thing. I think it’s really very good, she got the tone down to a tee. Excited to get that out.
Will we be hearing a Pt.1? Do you have any other material set to be released soon?
Maybe? Probably not. I can definitely tell you it exists though and it is very much a “Pt.1”. Might whack it up on OnlyFans or something for a laugh. We’re working on some stuff at the moment, there’ll be a single for the summer no doubt. Taking a little side-step with this one; will be interesting to see if people are still on board. Going to try and stick an EP out by the end of the year too.
How difficult is it as an artist right now, to be releasing new material without the ability to promote it through live shows?
Pretty grim to be honest, I’m sure a lot of people would agree. We’re a live band first and foremost so gigging is essential. We were playing near enough weekly and without that outlet there’s quite a big hole, not just as a band but individually too. I find it borderline therapeutic gigging, and the lack of it is driving me a bit mad. I’m worried about coming out of this too, looks like we’re headed for a big old crash and the arts were already massively underfunded so I can only imagine how low down the piles of paperwork we’ll get stuck. I’m hopeful to though, people call me a cynic but I’d refute that.
Who’re you listening to at the moment? Any upcoming material you’re excited about?
Been rinsing the Tiña stuff, I’d only clocked the other day that it’s the same guy from Bat-Bike. Couldn’t catch his face under that Pink Cowboy hat I guess. The new DEADLETTER (formerly, Mice Ön Mars) track is solid too. Excited to see anything new that Legss come out with also.
When it's possible, which venue are you most looking forward to returning to?
The Windmill. Regardless of whether it’s for a gig or just for a pint, miss the atmosphere dearly now. Hope Elvis is still knocking about.

[Album] Honeyglaze veröffentlichen selbstbetiteltes Debütalbum im April !
Tumblr media
“Hi we are Honeyglaze, and there’s no time to explain.”
“If someone is going to find you special – then you want to show what’s most special about yourself”, erzählt Curtis. “Then you can do what you want from there.”
Tumblr media
Tracklist “Honeyglaze”: 01. Start 02. Shadows 03. Creative Jealousy 04. I Am Not Your Cushion 05. Female Lead 06. Burglar 07. Half Past 08. Deep Murky Water 09. Young Looking 10. Souvenir 11. Childish Things

„Everyone I know is doing better than me“, singt […] #Tiña https://www.musikblog.de/2020/11/tina-positive-mental-health-music/

[Video] Tiña mit Video zu "Closest Shave"!
Tumblr media
Tiña aus dem Süden Londons teilen die Single "Closest Shave" samt Video! Der Track stammt aus dem Debütalbum "Positive Mental Health Music", das Ende 2020 über Speedy Wunderground veröffentlicht wurde.
youtube
"The concept revolved around Josh spilling his “daddy issues” to his father”, erzählt Kelly über "Closest Shave". “And we were lucky enough to have Josh’s actual dad, Rufus, come down and join the shoot. And I must add turning in a stellar performance.“ Frontmann Josh Loftin, dessen verträumte, hohe Vocals sich durch das folkig, rockige Instrumental ziehen, fügt hinzu: "Men need to hold other men more often.”
