Professional Duelling League sensation Manjoume Thunder is celebrating his birthday - and you're invited! That's right, grab your fanciest outfit, bring a date, and help make this day an unforgettable one!

     So what is this and how does it work? If you're interested in participating, send an IC ask to @jundeccentmil saying you'd like to attend (or do it OOC if that's more your style) and I will compile a list of participants. Any muse from or with a yu-gi-oh verse is allowed to attend, no matter if we're mutuals or not. This is supposed to be an opportunity to meet new people and just have some fun.

The event officially starts at 6PM CEST (that's 12PM EST) on the 1st of August, and will go on for as long as we feel like dragging it out. Time zones are a known problem, so just drop by whenever you have time. I will put together a couple of event-related starter memes for the occasion.

The tag for this event will be #thunderversary ball. Please tag event relevant posts with this tag so other participants can find you more easily, and also so anyone who wants nothing to do with the event can blacklist it.

It is encouraged to track/check this tag for people to thread with, but of course nobody is obligated to thread with anyone they don't want to. Standard roleplay etiquette applies, and any OOC drama should be left outside.

That being said, IC drama is A-okay and makes things interesting.

Reblogs of this post to spread the word would be very appreciated. I actually have no idea how this is going to go, or if there's even interest in an event like this. But let's try and make this a good one!

Needless to say both Fubuki and Ryo are going to be at the ball as well. Fubuki isn't going to pass up a chance to show off whatever it is he dug out of his wardrobe this time - he looks like a he stepped right out of a storybook filled with faerie tales - and if Fubuki is coming, naturally so is Ryo.

Not even Fubuki's impressive skill at persuasion could convince him not to wear his Hell Kaiser outfit though.

...no, no, no, this isn’t right. He hasn’t drunk nearly enough yet to be seeing double, despite starting early to be able to stomach a celebration in Jun’s honour. He’s pretty sure he hasn’t touched anything “medicinal” either, unless that clubkid he found in his whisky collection before doctored some of the bottles he hadn’t consumed.

He puts on a brave face in front of the dual assault. “Did they teach you some weird religious reenactment at school or something? If I knew where we kept the hammer and nails I’d help you out.”

      He had to... NOT be so flashy with it. Try not to make a flashy entrance.   Don’t be flashy... TOO flashy. As Seto Kaiba it was his job to be extra and flashy.

                No trench coat? Weird. It’s not often he’s seen without one. But he’s still wearing some form of boots with heels on them, of course.

Behold! Fubuki has arrived!

He strides onto the dance floor, all shiny shoes on shiny floor. His suit would be rather standard if it weren't for the fabric choice, iridescent sequins covering him like shiny green-blue scales, and instead of a flower a single peacock feather adorns the lapel. Glitter dusts both his hair, bound into a ponytail with a shiny ribbon, and his hands. He's determined to spread it to several people tonight.

As for Ryo, well... The less said the better.
