So with the "character" section of the Magia Exedra website being separated out by series, with the only characters we've got at the moment being the protagonists of each,

the game's trailer prominently featuring the protagonists of the spin-off manga,

and the live stream slideshow highlighting the various spin-off series, I'm willing to bet that the next characters we're going to get PVs for are going to be the spin-off protagonists.

I NEED Valve to add The Gnarliest Garb and Flare-n-Stocks to TF2 for no other reason than that by combining them + the Brütal Bouffant painted Mann Co. orange you can put BLU Scout in a startlingly accurate cosplay of Bloom from Winx Club in her Seasons 1 & 2 civilian attire and that's just so incredibly funny to me.

I will never understand why people lump Revolutionary Girl Utena in as a "magical girl" so often honestly. Genuinely it baffles me. Has anyone saying that ever actually watched the show? It's not even remotely a magical girl series. There is magic present but Utena never uses it, it's always Anthy, and even then the magic is wholly unexplained and generally not that important, it's more of a device to explain away how some of the bizarre visual metaphors are possible in-universe than anything. I'm not like, mad about it or anything, just very very confused.

Everyone Knows That being discovered as part of a porn soundtrack is funny and all but it's really gotten me wondering how much great music is out there that has been pretty much completely forgotten just because it was made for porn. It's kind of tragic, actually, to think about how many musicians like Christopher Booth are out there, making music that's doomed to obscurity for similar reasons.

I'm sure everyone has seen a YouTube video with a Helix mattress sponsorship, but has anyone else noticed that in every single one when the YouTuber mentions "Helix had me take a sleep quiz to determine which of their mattresses was the best match for me" they are literally always matched with the Midnight Luxe mattress? Like this sleep quiz is definitely a sham and they really just want to promote that one specific mattress right?

Can't stop thinking about the fact that Gorillaz existing in the Powerpuff Girls universe means they could also exist in the PPGZ and FusionFall universes. What would that be like? It's fun to think about.

A PSA

I hate those posts that are like ��If you support [insert marginalized community here] reblog! If you keep scrolling than you’re a POS and might as well KYS! 😘” because they’re super manipulative and basically chain letters?

This is essentially the same thing you’d see in comment sections where people are like “if you don’t copy this into ten other comment sections in under an hour then this creepy eyeless girl is going to murder you in your sleep”, except the creepy eyeless girl murdering you in your sleep is replaced with the fear of being perceived as a bad person.

Whether the intent is note-baiting or not, it still just feels... wrong. All these posts are really doing is pressuring people into spreading them. There are way more meaningful ways of showing your support for people than "spreading awareness”.

Attend a pride parade. Attend a BLM march. Donate to charities and/or GoFundMe’s. Sign petitions. Shop at LGBT/POC/ND-owned small businesses. Do something that actually makes an active difference, because spreading chain letters only helps the OP get more notes.

Also I want to add that I have no hard feelings towards the people who start these or reblog these. I’m sure that you guys have your hearts in the right place, I just feel like your time and energy should be spent on better things.

Being one of those godforsaken people who has read (most of) Homestuck, whenever I see AUs for stuff that are like “the kids swap places with their adult counterparts” (i.e. Relativity Falls or the Ducktales age swap AU) my first thought is always “ah, so this is the post-scratch timeline” lol
