I am very slow at drawing, I'm sorry, but I do wanna share my ideas while I'm figuring out my doodles.

Thought: Milkshake is pit against a new opponent, someone she's only really heard talked about around the Nexus and never met. Before the fight starts she hears what almost sounds like thunder echoing around the arena, booming steadily, and getting louder. And eventually a mutant appears and discards the big hammer they had been using to bang against the walls as they walked to the arena. They are introduced as Thunderfrog (the habit of banging the walls like drums to make a thundery sound being where they got the name).

Of course this is all probably fine. It could in no way turn out badly for one or both parties.

And it surely wouldn't make any meetings they have after getting away from Big Mama awkward, not at all.

The 10th team in King of Trios sees the return of a familiar face! ThunderFrog returns to CHIKARA for the first time since the Season 16 finale. ThunderFrog made it all the way to the semi-finals of the 2016 King of Trios tournament with Princess KimberLee and Oleg the Usurper, and is a former Young Lions Cup champion. Joining him are two fellow animal characters. The first is Air Wolf, who made his CHIKARA debut during the Young Lions Cup XIV tournament in March and is a graduate of Ken Anderson and Shawn Daivari’s The Academy: School of Professional Wrestling. They’re joined by Wildcat, who himself challenged ThunderFrog for the Young Lions Cup at a F1RST Wrestling event in June of 2016 and competed in a F1RST Wrestling title match at the CHIKARA event “Making A Stand” in 2015. Tbe three of them comprise the Galactic Wildlife Commission, and they’re looking to take the Trios tournament by storm!

My OC is a frog mutant

are they associated with a certain color? what color do they wear the most? Yes. Teal. Like, neon teal.

what sort of music would they like? have you thought about what genres or bands do they lean towards? do they have a favorite song? Kinda rock and comedy i guess? I made a playlist

weapon of choice? any particular reason they chose their weapon? Improvise weapons only. They associate real weapons with actually killing someone due to being in the Battle Nexus

how crafty/resourceful are they? They are pretty crafty. They are good at making things up on the go, and using limited tools to get the job done.

how do they typically dress? does their wardrobe lean more towards practicality or aesthetics? They like things they can move in, and they aren't worried about covering skin. So they often go for shorts, and they always wear the same cropped hoodie.

how do they wear their hair? do they care a lot how their hair looks? Well,,,,, frog. So no hair.

favorite animal? why? It used to be frogs, because frogs are cool. But since the mutation they're kinda over it

do they have a nickname? who gave it to them? if it's not derived from their real name, what's the story behind it? Their Nexus name is Thunderfrog, because they would bang the walls during their entrance like thunder to intimidate the opponent

favorite food? least favorite? are they a picky eater? do they have any dietary restrictions? They have fond memories of eating soup and ghost bread made by their mother as a kid, but they haven't had it since their mom passed

if they wear jewelry, what kind? do they prefer silver or gold? do they have a favorite gem? They used to have a lot of piercings before their mutation, and aspire to someday get them back.

what do they have in common with you? how are they different? would you get along with them? I probably wouldn't get along with them, since they're a city kid and I'm,,,, not. But at the very least we both have weird genders.

how long have they been around? do you know their birthday? is their birthday the day you made them or another day? what do they think of celebrating birthdays? I only made them recently. I made their b-day Feb 14 because I felt like that date would annoy them the most, and they really do hate how people respond to knowing their birthday.

how big or small is their family? who did they live with growing up? do they live with anyone now? They only had their dad most of their childhood and adolescence, but now they live in the Hidden City

their opinion on lying, stealing, and killing? Neutral about lying, they are for stealing as long as it's from a big corporation, and despite how high their body count is they really do not like killing

They are also uncomfortably flexible and bend joint in ways that you wouldn't expect can bend. The mutation really amped up the hypermobility

Pronouns: They/It Height: 4'6'' Species: Some kind of Frog Birthdate: Feb 14 COMBAT Fighting Style: Fast and dirty, just wants to end the fight as quickly as possible. Never holds its punches. Weapons: Mostly bare fists, but is more than happy to make use of a good 2x4 RELATIONSHIPS • The Turtles Not on good terms in the best of times, the four turtles of pretty wary of the frog in general. BACKGROUND Do you think Splinter, the turtles, and Leatherhead were the only mutants made as a result of the Utroms at TCRI? No. Hazardous material was spread over several areas when the TCRI building was destroyed, and we know for sure that at least one creature was contaminated by the mutagen. A simple frog who had no guidance and no one to teach it, began to rapidly grow and gain intelligence. Over the first year of sentience, it picked up language from the humans it watched, learned fear and anger from the mobs that chased it and called it a monster, and finally, this simple frog learned loyalty after being taken in by the Foot who saw potential in this so-called monster.

They called themself Moss, when asked for a name, after the only soft thing they knew in their life. They learned to fight, to hide from prying eyes, and to follow orders. For a year they served the Foot and the Shredder, never questioning their place. That is, until four mutant turtles attacked. They had thought themself the only mutant in the world, but the turtles changed all of that. Especially the one called Donatello. They fought him directly, and tried to ignore his words as he pleaded for them to stop serving an evil man. They did not consider their master evil. Nevertheless, the turtles killed the Shredder and destabilized the Foot. Moss's home was gone.

They hunted the turtles on multiple occasions after that. They hated that they lost their purpose. They hated that the turtles always tried to reach them with words instead of killing them. And they hated that damn look of pity that always came from Don any time he won another fight. But what else could they do? They had no where to go. Certainly they couldn't live with the humans, and it.... Didn't feel right trying to go back and live in the wild.

This all changed one day when instead of the usual fight, Don met them alone and unarmed. Clearly a trap, but one Moss was willing to walk into. He led them into the sewers and introduced them to a large alligator mutant who was also alone. At first they wanted nothing to do with this, but a friendship between Moss and Leatherhead did grow. And they found new purpose in helping him build science things, and in searching for other mutants who may be out there.

'87 Cartoon

Name: Sam Allick, Thunderfrog Age: 21 Gender Identity: Cis Pronouns: He/Him Height: 5'0'' Species: Just Frog Birthdate: Feb 14

COMBAT Fighting Style: He likes to try to get you from a distance first, but is always ready to bring it in close for a brawl if that doesn't work. Weapons: Stockman inventions, but never used correctly.

RELATIONSHIPS • Parents Stan and Mary, no longer really in the picture since Sam moved out. But of course they would be happy to welcome their son home. • The Turtles He holds no malice for them, but he doesn't hesitate to fight them to fulfill his job requirements. • The Shredder/Kraang He does hold malice for them. What he got was never what he signed up for.

BACKGROUND Sam was too proud a person to admit to his parents that after moving to NYC he had just become part of the homeless population. His job plans didn't pan out, he didn't have any savings, and he hadn't lasted more than two months before being kicked from his apartment. When a man in armor had offered him a place to stay and food in exchange for simple work, he had been happy to accept. He hadn't planned on that lodging being a rundown old office building, now had he planned on being mutated into a frog. But after everything had happened, after seeing mutants and aliens and other dimensions, he didn't have a way to go back. This was his life now. Of course in the back of his mind he knew that if he got the chance he would run, but no such chance had presented itself.

META Voice actor: Johnny Yong Bosch Yes I think the cartoon that made Stockman white would also make my genderless frog thing into a cis man I may add more to this backstory as I watch more of the cartoon. GOD his eyes are staring a hole into my soul. *shudder*

IDW comics

Name: Thunderfrog Age: unclear Gender Identity: Demigirl Pronouns: She/They Height: 5'8'' Species: Poison Dart Frog Birthdate: Feb 14

COMBAT Abilities: Can ingest toxins and replicate them through a skin secretion Fighting Style: While she was trained to be a skilled fighter and has developed boxing and martial arts skills, they really do prefer unorthodox brawling. Weapons: Mainly pipes, bats, tire irons, anything they can swing.

RELATIONSHIPS • The Turtles: They got along well with Mikey while he was on the team, although when he left and caused many of the other Mutanimals to do the same, she took it hard. She never knew the other turtles well. • The Mutanimals: She's on good terms with them overall, although she does argue with Hob off and on but only because she cares, she's got a massive crush on Sally

BACKGROUND Starting out as a humble frog in an exotics pet store, they found herself suddenly given too much sentience and pressure all at once when they were mutated at Null Industries. They were given the name Allick, and spent a lot of time being trained alongside Krisa. When the Mutanimals raided Null, she was the only one who managed to escape. Afterwords she joined up with the Mutanimals. It took her some time to adjust, and while trying to forge her own identity she changed her name. She often got into arguments with Hob about whether mutating animals for his army was right or if it was any different than what Null was doing, but she didn't have anywhere else to go. Ultimately she stood her ground and insisted Hob stop making anymore mutations, and in her eyes the argument worked, since for a long time the Mutanimals stayed as just the small group they already were.

Thunder got along well with Mikey while he was on the team, but they ultimately harbored bitter feelings about him breaking up the team's dynamic, even if she disapproved of Hob working with Hun.

In the end she split from the Mutanimals after the mutant bomb, spent a few months just trying to come to terms with everything, and faded into Mutant City. They cut ties with everyone they used to know and turned to walk their own path, and live their own story.

'03 Cartoon

Name: Agent Thunderfrog Age: a few years? Gender Identity: Cassgender Pronouns: He/She Height: 4'9'' Species: Hairy frog Birthdate: Feb 14 Place of Residence: any EPF bases

COMBAT Abilities: She can break her bones and poke them through her skin to use as weapons Fighting Style: Calm, calculated, does not like to get in close to a lot of enemies due to his small size. But in a pinch he can seriously mess a bitch up in melee Weapons: Any weapons as the EPF's disposal, primarily ranged.

RELATIONSHIPS • Bishop: She generally respects him, and views him as a teacher • The Turtles: Started off on the wrong foot, tried to sabotage them on more than one occasion, but once they all got to sit down and talk and the turtles learned her situation, they became pretty good friends.

BACKGROUND Got mutated in the fallout of Bishop's fake alien invasion and lived as a mindless mutant monster for a while. When Bishop did the research to find a cure for Donnie's double mutation, he accidentally made a variant that gave one of his test subjects a stable mutation. He began training the frog mutant, hoping to later utilize her against the turtles. Those plans were never able to be fully realized, however, since the Foot Mystics and Demon Shredder took up Bishop's attention, and the EPF was even forced to work with the turtles to defend against the Tengu Shredder. After that Bishop's drive to destroy the turtles began to wane, so Agent Thunderfrog was given other missions. However, after seeing the existence of the mystic, she began to seriously question her place and asked to have some time off. And was denied. So she deserted the EPF because she was not about to be kept from pursuing her own identity.

META Voice Actor: Regina King Bishop always uses he/him for Thunder, the turtles did at first too, as well as anyone new Thunder meets. The turtles were flustered to find out she's a female frog, however she doesn't actually mind when people use masc terms. Gender is a weird human construct anyway.

'12 Cartoon

Name: Sam Allick, Thunderfrog Age: 16 Gender Identity: Cis (dubiously) Pronouns: She/Her Height: 6'0'' Species: Tree Frog Birthdate: Feb 14 Place of Residence:

COMBAT Abilities: Powerful frog jumps Fighting Style: .....not really. at least, not at first. Over the course of her time as a mutant, she learns how to defend herself and becomes more confident in her ability to knock some heads Weapons: alarmingly heavy backpack

RELATIONSHIPS • Parents: She doesn't speak with her parents anymore. • The Turtles: She isn't particularly close with any of the turtles • Casey: She's close friends with him and considers him her first real friend. • April: She has a tense relationship with April, finding the other teen girl to be annoying. She also has issues with the way April treats Casey. • The New Foot: She respects Karai, but wouldn't consider her a friend. However she gets along very well with Shinigami.

BACKGROUND She grew up in a bit of a broken home. Her parents had been on the verge of divorce for half her life, school was hell, and even though she tried to find other kids to hang with outside of school, the punk and 'bad kids' were always a bit too much to be a solid outlet for her and the popular kids were too mean and the average kids just didn't seem to care.

So when she was hit with a mutagen canister when they spilled all over New York, she should have been thrilled to have an easy excuse to escape her life. But somehow she wasn't. This was just,,,, so much worse. She was chased away by her parents, she couldn't go to school, she could barely even go out in public anymore.

After months of this, she was approached by other mutants who worked for something called a "Foot" and she was almost ready to go with them, but some crazy kid in a hockey mask grabbed her and ran.

Casey gave her a pretty comprehensive briefing on what was going on, and reluctantly admitted that his friend group was responsible for turning her into a mutant. But to make up for it he began teaching her how to fight and he let her crash in his family's garage (unbeknownst to his parents).

After the Shredder's defeat, Sam joined the Foot Clan. Donnie offered to make her retromutagen, but after spending so much time as a frog and building an entire new life teaming up with Casey and the Mutanimals to make the world better, she was hesitant. She kept the offer in her mind, but wanted to wait and seek advice

COMBAT Mystic Abilities?: no Fighting Style: Lots of improv street fighting Weapons: Whatever happens to be close, and they discard any weapons immediately after the fight

RELATIONSHIPS • Parents Mom is dead and dad is a deadbeat. • The Turtles They met Leo first. They got in the way of his mission, and then proceeded to kick his ass with a cardboard tube and rolled up newspaper, mostly because he was just taken off guard. • Big Mama Sam's boss. To say they don't like her would be an understatement.

BACKGROUND Sam grew up in Jersey with their dad. Their mom died when they were a kid, and after that their dad just got drunk and mean. So for the most part they grew up on the streets as much as inside their own house, learning how defend themself from other kids that were bigger and meaner than they were. By the time they were a teen they had a pretty tight crew they ran with, and they had started going by Mawce. One day they were on the ferry to go hang out at the train yard and a wave of chaos broke over the boat. People ran and screamed away from the front where a... a hippo man hybrid thing shouted and rammed into the surfaces around him. Mawce was knocked down by a big guy running passed, and their friends didn't even seem to notice as they all ran for safety. They felt a sting on their arm, but barely slowed to check it as they tried to get clear, and failed. Ultimately they were knocked over the side of the ferry and fell into the water. By the time they made it to the surface and swam to shore, their body had changed to resemble that of their pet frog back home. A home which they couldn't go back to like this. They ended homeless and just living where they could over NYC, but it quickly became clear that being a mutant frog made it nigh impossible to live with humans. And with winter rolling in and discovering that their body liked to lock up and try to hibernate when cold, they were in real trouble. But soon they thought they found their lucky break.

They started to settle down with a discarded comforter behind a big fancy hotel, their hood up to try to preserve any heat they still had. Apparently some thug thought they looked like a slow easy target, because he marched up with a cocky grin to shake them down for cash. Although, even with the cold, Mawce wasn't going to let some punk just take whatever he wanted. It only took a minute to redirect his attack and slam him in the dumpster, where they promptly laid across the lid to lock him in. As snow began to fall, so did their eyelids. They woke up with a start to find themself in a soft comfy bed in a warm room. Which was alarming because they distinctly remembered not being here. They heard voices outside their door, and within a few moments a smartly dressed woman was escorted in. She didn't seem fazed by the frog situation, and instead offered a deal. Big Mama had seen Mawce fight and wanted to offer them a job where they do shows for her guests and she gives them a place to stay. Mawce thought that sounded like a pretty good deal, and didn't need told twice to sign the contract. That was their worst mistake. Fighting in the Battle Nexus was not like wrestling or something. These were serious fights where a "knockout" was literal, and not just a ten count of pinning someone to the floor. And something they discovered the hard way is that lethal force was allowed, and it was literally kill or be killed. And here, they didn't even have the luxury of having their own name, instead they were assigned the title of Thunderfrog, on account of their habit of banging on the arena walls to make a thundering sound to scare their opponent. On top of that instead of the nice hotel room they had thought to stay in, they had a small bare room that was more like a cell. That was the hardest five months of their life.

Sometime early next summer Thunderfrog and a few other top Nexus fighters were offered a deal. In preparation for a massive Nexus event, Big Mama was bolstering her staff with skilled fighters, and anyone who would rather work as one of her assistants would only be asked to fight one battle a week from here on out, but in exchange they would offer their skill in any other area she needed. And to sweeten the deal, they would be given a real room in her hotel. Thunder knew that doing "anything" Big Mama asked would absolutely entail doing all of her dirty work, but honestly at this point they didn't care. Anything would be better than their current status, esp with many of the Nexus fights being made so much more deadly by Big Mama's Shadow Fiend recently. So they took the deal. Thunder worked to kidnap participants and otherwise prepare for Battle Nexus New York, but when the day came the entire event was a complete disaster. Thunder saw firsthand the destruction Big Mama's pet Shredder caused. This was their first escape attempt. While everything was in ruins and Big Mama was injured, they tried to make a run for it, but quickly found the mystic contract they had signed kept them shackled to their position. Quite literally. They almost ripped their arms out of the sockets when they got too far away from where they were supposed to be. They half wondered about mystic webs or being like a puppet on a string, but they didn't fully understand how it worked. They only knew that Big Mama could force them to stay until they could figure out how to break that bond.

META Voice actor: Todd Haberkorn I made their mask similar to Big Mama's assistant on purpose. Which may be a bold choice on my part, but I don't think it's too crazy to think she gives her top operatives similar spider themed masks.

It was wild to see which iteration @tmnt-oc-comp chose as the face of my OC, and I'm not even upset. IDW Thunder is amazing! They're a poison dart frog, they're a lesbian, she's socially anxious, she started out as a frog so convincing her that clothes were a requirement was a nightmare and only half successful. Just,,, look at her! Vote for them!

Information: “Starting out as a humble frog in an exotics pet store, they found herself suddenly given too much sentience and pressure all at once when they were mutated at Null Industries. They were given the name Allick, and spent a lot of time being trained alongside Krisa. When the Mutanimals raided Null, she was the only one who managed to escape. Afterwords she joined up with the Mutanimals. It took her some time to adjust, and while trying to forge her own identity she changed her name. She often got into arguments with Hob about whether mutating animals for his army was right or if it was any different than what Null was doing, but she didn't have anywhere else to go. Ultimately she stood her ground and insisted Hob stop making anymore mutations, and in her eyes the argument worked, since for a long time the Mutanimals stayed as just the small group they already were.

Thunder got along well with Mikey while he was on the team, but they ultimately harbored bitter feelings about him breaking up the team's dynamic, even if she disapproved of Hob working with Hun.

In the end she split from the Mutanimals after the mutant bomb, spent a few months just trying to come to terms with everything, and faded into Mutant City. They cut ties with everyone they used to know and turned to walk their own path, and live their own story.”
