miguel can't do anything about any of this. he knows the calling is inevitable one day. he hates when he thinks he hears it. but every person he saves, every wrong he makes right...maybe there is something there. something worth it

So in this variation atan actually after getting branded for maximum angst actually takes the book but ford stops him. And asks him to stay a night and to treat his wound. He ends up venting to stan after some pushing and tells him about bill how he possesed him, tortured him all the works. And warns stan about him. Stan in a moment of pure adrenaline asks ford to "take rest" and he will look after him and not allow bill to wreak havoc ; ford was suspicious but god did he need some sleep and stan wouldn't do something stupid right ??right?? He in a frenzy gets approached by bill who asks him to take his side ; Stan "agrees " and asks him to use his body instead of "sixer" and did one thing ford asked him not to do and makes a deal. Bill makes a deal yada yada but stop stan is not stupid he wispered something under his breath along the line of "but my body still belongs to me" He remembered reading something about a memory gun in the journal and though he would wipe him right of his mind . So back to the but my body still belongs to me part. Bill mends the deal between his wispers and so his conditions not fully established and so what happens is that half his body is in his control and teh other half in bill's. Bill catches a wind of this and sees his plan in his mind .stan realized what happened and is certain he is not gonna survive . He and bill started to fight which triggered the security cameras put up by ford . Bill pulls takes the crossbow and points it at stan's head " your not gonna hurt yourself smart guy" but stan had other plans he took the memory gun and points it at his head . And boom no bill ,no stan and a startled ford . He starts to run and to teh surce of the sound and finds the body of his brother cold and dead on his basement with f a smile which was weak but content. Ford drops on his knees and noticed his hands one held the the crossbow and the other the memory gun. Ford after a lot of crying finnaly decided to see his last moments and what he sees left him regretting every word his said to stan in the past 11 years . NOW COMES THE MUSE OF THE TWISTED IDEA "house of memories " by panic at the disco. Just listen to teh song and imagine stan saying all those things when he noticed teh camera with some unwanted interjections by bill. Especially the last second para along with the rest of the song and also the last para the "will you rememberme in teh same way as i remembered you" ok now for thsi i have two endings planned either a: the good end where ford ressurects stan or b: the guilty cherry on this cake of angst he cannot ressurect stan and instead is like the better world ford but he missed his brother .

BASIC OVERVIEW

This au is a play on Mardi Gras traditions and whatever I decide I want to throw in. I’m not exactly following any rules, just having fun!

S1 events are kinda weird in this, they don’t exactly happen with MK and gang. They’ve taken place beforehand in their own ways. DBK and LBD are both free. LBD is our big bad. Yeah sorry guys this is mostly S2/3 centered.

The celestial realm in this AU is also referred to as the court of Mardi Gras. Both names work! Celestial Maidens are also referred to as Maidens of the Court, and Celestial army men are knights of the court, etc.

i do not plan on making a comic or a large fic. This will be mostly small pieces or a big story, which is why I’ll lay it out for you instead.

PLOT OVERVIEW

the Mayor hosts a grand masquerade ball, and MK and gang attend. They leave to go somewhere else for a split second, and upon returning find every attendant has gone missing. As the only surviving group of witnesses, they decide it’s on them to help figure out what happened!

as we already know, the Mayor works for the Lady Bone Demon, and it’s easy to guess this is her doing. The LBD gang are in fact behind this!

MK runs into Redson trying to steal Wukongs wand (staff) from a hidden room in the house of magic. This honestly plays out mostly how it does in canon, turns out MK has a connection to it and enter epic chase scene.

Wukong comes into the situation when he puts two and two together that the rumors of a new magician kid and the fact his wand isn’t there when he comes back.

Macaque is going to be our most frequent antagonist, who we meet the most often. He’s honestly who I think I’ll have the most fun with. I’m letting him be a theater kid.

They will search for the rings of Samadhi at some point.

If that were to come to pass, then I believe that it would be in Century Egg Au. For one, Jade Emperor and Queen Mother are for more involved with Wukong and his family in that au, therefore there'd be more opportunities for them to discover the truth. For another, Guanyin is their daughter's reincarnation, they know this and they know she adopted Wukong, but that mad him her ward not her son in their eyes. But even so, while midwifing it is entirely possible that Queen Mother may have noticed soemthing about Wukong's soul, some never before noticed connection to her own and to Guanyin, and whilst he was in a comatose state she may have wanted to do her own research.

It's possible, if she were to loon through Guanyin's bloodlines and reincarnations, she may discover that amongst those 31+ reincarnations before she reached enlightenment Guanyin, or rather Sonzi, had a short stint as a monkey demon. A Stone Monkey demon, whom the now know form Wukong, is capable of producing a stone egg that could potentially remain dormant for many centuries before hatching. They also know that if the pregnancy of a stone monkey has a high mortality rate, courtesy of the very monkey, she just barely saved from Diyu with her daughter's help. So if she were to look for the cause of death for this particular life of Sonzi...

Death by Egg Incubation.

Sonzi's life had ended in this reincarnation while trying to do the very same thing Wukong had just barely succeeded in. And if she were to look into the egg, well... that was quite the surprise for her and JD when she brought the news to him. It's not every day you unknowingly midwife for your own firstborn grandson. What they'll do with thsi information is still up to debate, afterall Wukong is most certainly too fragile right now to hand that sort of revelation without incident and the last thing they want is another rampaging monkey who would likely end up hurting himself in the process.

It would def be the Century Egg Au that finds it out first, especially since it's the closest Wukong has been with the royal family beyond his Orchard attendant days.

After the Monkey King managed to be stabilized after nearly dying bringing his child into the world, the Empress that midwived for him felt a creeping suspcion whenever she saw Guanyin - the reincarnation of her eldest daughter - fret over the resting demon. As if she were looking at a torn painting.

The Queen Mother asks for permission from King Yama to see her deceased children's Scrolls in order to see if any of them happened to produce offspring in their different incarnations.

Second-born Yin Wuming was obvious; she bore three dutiful sons all allied with Heaven, despite the tragedies caused by her youngest child. No other children noted.

Zhinu's scroll does not give a clear answer. She and her mortal love and their children are in a state beyond simple life or death.

But then the Queen Mother comes across the Scroll of her eldest daughter. Once her the Jade Emperor's firstborn Princess Songzi, now the Bodhisattva Guanyin - the Scroll is very thick with records of her intermitting lives. And feeling a hunch she unrolls it to take a look.

She drops the scroll to the ground at the words and image that reveals itself to her. A creature she once thought as no more than a beast smiling back at her as her dear daughter once had, her fur and hair a familiar warm orange-gold like the sunset.

The section of the scroll that would normally explain any issue or surviving bloodline had been redacted - as if someone happened to have removed their name elsewhere among the Books of the Dead.

The Queen Mother collapses as the revelation kicks in.

The creature that had nearly torn Heaven asunder to ensure the safe birth of his child - had been born from her daughter's second life, a life ended by the same means to ensure the next generation.

She had just delivered her own great-grandchild and hadn't even realised it.

She runs to her husband first - her eyes inflamed with tears, joyous and guilty. The Jade Emperor can only hold his wife as she wails. How could she have been so blind!? The flames that should have killed the Monkey King could not do so, as it was her own Samadhi Fire that fueled the Furnace. The power that rained destruction upon Heaven, as terrible as it was beautiful, was her own.

The Jade Emperor is completely silent. He simply has no words.

The royal pair peak into the room where Sun Wukong rests, his mate and his cub at his side. Liu'er Mihou is haggard with worry as he sacrifices every bit of sleep and warmth to keep their child sated, the King himself resting as if he hadn't just preformed a miracle. The baby, the couples "little Heaven", blissingfully unaware of how many lives they enriched.

The demon family looking as they themselves once did when they welcomed Songzi into the world.

Even the Emperor cannot hold back the tears.

When the royal pair attempt to gain their bearings, they realise that the daugher that they had exiled so long ago for marrying a demon, had spent the last 500 years ensuring that the King's island stayed safe and undisturbed as he incubated his child. Did Tieshan know? Had she sensed a connection between them? Had Nezha - whom the monkey has always treated as a little brother?

For the first time in thousands of years, the gods feel humbled.

Sonic and Shadow are there! A lot of the main sonic cast is! Sonic is dealing with a lot of grief and stress, not towards himself but for the others around him. He's scared he's gonna lose more people around him and typical Sonic isn't coping well with his feelings. Shadow had become a cop (instead of a GUN agent) to try and do good sometime ago in the RP but after the deaths kept happening, he quit and has been investigating the cases with Vector on his own time... they two are also not coping well...tbh i have wondered if I will stick with thsi in the AU. sometimes i go back and forth on lore and roles in this AU. Either way Shadow is very vengeful over the deaths and wants the one who was responsible to pay.

Ahaha! Yeah the locations were from the two big inspirations i had for making this AU. The Hotel was from At Dead of Night and the University was from White Day: A Labryinth Named School. i threw thsi out into a yt comment section and its actually decently written so lemme copy-paste it here WEEE

reign of light is the process and aftermath of the radiance fusing with the hollow knight to escape the black egg.

hollow (who is nicknamed “moon” in this au, the radiance being “sun” or radi as usual) spent 11 years sealed in the egg with radi, and throughout that time, she was trying to convince them to fuse with her to become a new god powerful enough to break the seals. they agreed on the condition that she leave them and their family alone after they separate, and they metaphorically shook on it.

BUT. radi lied! she wasnt gonna let them go, or leave hallownest, or anything they agreed on. she was gonna hold full control over their fused form (named eclipse) and use their combined power to kill the pale royals and take her place on the throne.

the main story consists mostly of how her rule affected hallownest and moon’s mental health (and just their health in general). ghost comes back and kills her at some point bc i hate bad endings, but that doesnt happen for a WHILE.

twins of void, on the other hand, is much more fluffy! it’s based on the what-if scenario of if hollow saved ghost instead of leaving them behind on the climb out of the abyss.

in this au, ghost is the one named the pure vessel, and they’re usually called “purity” or “sibling” by their twin. since hollow isnt the hollow knight, they actually get a name (diligence) given to them by their mother, who actually genuinely loves them.

when the twins are 13 and hornet is 3, diligence freaks out about the vessel plan and ends up running away with purity and hornet. after a while they end up in pharloom, meeting the self-insert character i STILL havent designed, and decide to settle there.

later on they move AGAIN and end up in bugaria, the place where bug fables takes place. then it’s all fluff and comfort and gay shit from there.

purity/ghost become the shade lord in both aus, but they only kill radi in rol. she gets her kingdom in tov, since the royal family is in bugaria and won’t be dealing with her anymore.

Look i have like nothing concrete about it right, but in cases like this i always like to imagine what would happen if these people were to meet eachother. Like whether they go backwards or forwards, whether pixl is even involved in the time traveling, hearing about that guy they know who has those funny copper marks too except his are blue (hey he even looks like the king, what a coincidence) gotta cause some Concern right? Especially if they do meet him (wow how is this dude alive). God forbid pix + whoever (fwhip? +other people?) do the back in time thing bc everyone else probably recognises inlays and what they aren't supposed to look like even *outside* of pixandria (and inside pixandria that'd be 15x worse). Well… What can I say about her without too much spoiler, even though you've found out that she's going to be a miraculous holder. She switched roles with Marinette Dupain-Cheng, and due to an event ended up giving up fencing and is looking for a vocation that makes her happy; And in the meantime, she casually streams and posts her art online, despite her mother's disapproval.

We definitely won't have Feligami, because even though she's bisexual, I don't think Felix shows up, or if it happen, it would be something so fast that it wouldn't have time for romance. I'm still on the fence about who she'll end up with, or if she'll end up alone (since she doesn't need a romance to be happy), and for sure, we won't have a love square between her and her partner (the other miraculous holder).

In this one, if I really focus on making each character with a more unique color palette, I would say that dark red would be their color (this disregarding the other composition colors), although in this drawing it was more brown and pastel.

Let's start with the basics, first I'm still a beginner in painting, mostly with a single color, I'll probably do everything in grayscale, just testing, maybe colorful, who knows. I ended up testing a lot of type of painting, spray, stippling, blended, I really need to improve my painting techniques more, but I hope you like this simple drawing. So, sorry It's so simple, but I kinda like the final product. Basic info

He mostly plays attack/centre. Usually the one to lead charges to score and break the other players ankles when they steal the ball.

He has a habit for getting carried away (despite his efforts for self-control) and slams too hard into enemy players. This has earned him a lot of rivalries with other teams and even some red card violations.

During practice or friendly games they sometimes put him as a goalkeeper. He's quite good at it and they don't have a fixed goalkeeper at the moment. It also gets him away from the field if he's too worked up.

It's cold so he wears a polo leotard under the team uniform. He chose the number 1 because that's how he seems himself, it makes him feel good and confident.

He "needs full movement of his legs" so the shorts stay as they are, ofcourse.

He naps before important matches to gather his energy and strength.

He has been playing football his whole life. He considers it part of who he is.

The team is doing well locally, and they're trying really hard to get a place in the National Championship coming soon. Their goalkeeper quit so they're having difficulties.

Itachi wants to get noticed by an official team so he is internally panicking about their prospects. He might leave the team and join elsewhere if he sees they don't have chances of making it.

Their team dynamic

Itachi isn't interested in anything that doesn't concern the team. He's quite strict and lectures them on their mistakes.

However, he knows team dynamics are important (unfortunately) so he actually tries to be friendly.

He comments on good plays, gives advice and even offers joint training + exercise sessions(and the others do join in when they can).

The others also dream of playing football as their career. They are very dedicated to this goal and take the team seriously.

It pleases Itachi that they share his determination to succeed.

He still does not join in unrelated group activities. He doesn't like people, even though these ones are... tolerable.

They earnestly listen to his criticisms and discuss his own areas of improvement.

Their passion makes him feel like they're in this together, that they're almost a famil-

The... issue

The team hates it when he's aggressive on the field. It always creates a horrible tension between them. They've talked to him about it multiple times and although he, begrudgingly, agreed to work on it he still gets caught up in the moment sometimes.

He hates it when his emotions take over in the field. He hates it when he messes up. Again.

Itachi has been with this team for a long time and scores a lot of their goals. They would never kick him out, but his increasing attitude problem is making him harder to handle during matches. They also have a dream to think of and he could become a disadvantage if he continues.

Itachi is not handling the stress about the upcoming National Championship well. They are behind without a good goalkeeper and they're running out of time.

His restlessness has resulted in more incidents that, despite not causing trouble so far, throw off the rest of the team.

The now

Today's match ended 15 minutes ago. Another win, but that's not enough.

Right now, no one else cares. They won.

They changed clothes. They're going home.

He's wearing a hoodie and sweatpants, with his bag slung over his right shoulder. No time for any training, this was a late match and the sun has already set.

A quick word with the team, to tell them what they did right, and all they could still fix. It's late. They're tired but they smile along and nod to every word.

A quick goodbye. They all wave at him with whatever energy they have left as they walk off together to the nearest coffeeshop. They call back an invitation -as they always do. He turns it down -as he always does- and begins the walk home in the opposite direction.

He does not smile. But- but it feels good. Peaceful. He's ready to head off to bed and sleep.

'Go to the Golden House,' the quest read.

It had just been another regular day for Childe. Wake up, do his morning chores, then do his regular, messily scheduled streaming.

And, as per usual, he had been streaming Genshin Impact, a well known game in the streaming community.

"The Golden House? Uh, okay then..."

He stole a glance at his chat, who were telling each other to shut up, while some only asked what would happen in confusion. Spoilers were probably deleted by his mods.

"Chat, you're scaring me, chat. What the hell is going to happen? No, no, don't tell me, I don't think I want to know yet."

Something in his head screamd at him, as a cutscene played. His chosen traveller looked around the Golden House before stepping closer to the Exurvia of the former Geo Archon.

And then, in stepped familiar h/c hair, their e/c eyes devoid of light despite the golden mora shining within the Golden House.

"Hey! The lil skrunkly!" He whispered, low enough to not desturb the cutscene.

They conversed for a bit, before the cutscene ended and a battle began.

"Surreder is a valid option, I promise I'll be gentle."

Childe swallowed his saliva, laughing quietly to himself.

"Oh I am going to have fun. Maybe."

The fight ended, and Childe was shaking in his seat. He had barely finished phase 3, getting disracted many times.

Another cutscene played, revealing a tired, worn out traveller. But Y/n was no better, not even on his level.

Standing across the traveller, now out of their Foul Legacy form, was same old Y/n, shaking in their place as scratches and bruises littered their skin.

"Hah, you've bested me. How... intriguing. You truely are...as strong as they say."

Childe, having a chill run up his spine, stared intelty at his screen, deathly quiet.

"La Signora has even praised you for your strength, even if she had not faught you herself, yet. Hah, to get a Harbinger's attention and praise... You sure are a special one, huh?"

Having none of their energy remaining, Y/n collapsed to the floor, on their knees. They could see the traveller hesitate to approach them, but they spoke before he could move.

"Well? What are you waiting for? I may have overused Foul Legacy, and it wont be too long."

They spared a glance at the traveller, and even in their weakest moment, a competetive and mischievous glint shone in their once dull eyes.

"Go on. Aren't you going to kill me?"

The traveller's breath hitched, before they chuckled once again.

"Haha, only joking... Unless you're up to it, of course. I'm not quite a fan of dying to Foul Legacy, but after a fight with the oh so great traveller? It was a fight worth dying for, I guess."

Coughing, blood trickled down their chin, and they wiped it off with the back of their hand.

"May I be able to hope to see you again? To have another battle? Perhaps in the far future, perhaps never again at all..."

Taking a step forward, the traveller ceased his motion as the Harbinger raised a hand.

"No need. Whatever healing you might try to do would not work. Foul Legacy takes my energy, decreasing my life span. Perhaps I wasn't meant to live long, perhaps my only purpose was to serve the Tsaritsa."

A chuckle, breathy and tired and solemn and...happy.

Happy to have someone to pass one last message for them.

"Before you leave," they spoke. "You'll probably be able to find one or two of the Harbingers here. One of them would be summoning a god banished to the depths below. You cannot stop them. Or maybe you can. But, before you leave."

They looked up, and despite the scratches and blood on their face, their half lidded eyes shined a thousand times brighter than all the mora in the Golden House.

"My siblings... My mother, my father... Everyone..."

They smiled, brighter than their eyes. It was soft and kind and solemn and genuine and sad.

A million words spoke through that smile. A million messages, a million apologies, a million grateful thank yous. Directed to their family, their parents, their siblings.

A million farewells. Directed to everyone.

Directed to the traveller. To Childe.

"Give them one last goodbye for me, will you? A hug, for everyone. A kiss on the cheek, for mum and dad."

A smile, solemn and bright. But never remorseful, never faux.

"Tell Teucer I'm sorry."

Falling to their side, they collapsed on the ground with a thud, and the Golden House was deathly quiet.

Childe stared at the screen. Eyes wide, mouth agape. If you looked close enough, you could see his shaking form as the cutscene ended.

Another quest popped up.

'Bid Y/n L/n a final goodbye.'

And he wailed in his seat.

Tears streamed down his cheeks, and he made it seem more dramatic to make people assume he wasn't really badly affected by their death.

"I— what— NO! My skrunkly! My little meow meow!"

He moved his character to stand in front of Y/n, an interact button popping up.

'Bid your farewells.'

He did so, seeing his character change to the traveller, who kneeled down beside Y/n. Paimon floated down to the ground, placing a hand on their head.

"...We promise you, Y/n. Your family will be alright."

Taking a flower, a Cecilia from Mondstadt, the traveller gingerly placed it atop their head.

"...We'll be going now, Y/n." He said, and stood up.

Childe had been quiet the whole time, and he could see his chat going wild on the corner of his eyes, all screaming 'NO' or 'o7' or anything alike.

"What the fuck!?" He exclaimed, not touching the game. Rolling his chair backwards a bit, he turned his head to chat, hands intertwined in front of his face, covering his mouth.

He wiped his teary eyes and wet cheeks, trying to find his voice.

"That was too early! I thought I could ignore the death flags until further!!" He exclaimed, staring directly at his face cam. Running a hand through his hair, he dramatically slouched on his chair, groaning loudly.

"Nooo! I would have protected them!"

Suddenly springing up from his seat, he wailed even louder.

"THEIR FAMILY!! THEY'RE GOING TO BE FUCKING DEVASTATED! And— and— their siblings! TEUCER!" He exclaimed.

"I'm sueing Mihoyo Hoyoverse what the fuck."
