Well, this week I don't have so much time to do an digital work, but It's good to pratice tradicional art, and considering that @teamoon7 said about the origins, I made an first view of the ladybug holder, because I still changing the cat holder uniform, so nothing more decided besides the ladybug, so here the art, hope you guys like (Maybe it's not like they will meet, but this is the first idea)

First of all, sorry for the long wait, I only had the chance to redo the drawing yesterday, but for some reason today, my computer reset and I lost all my files, except the backups, so this is what I managed to do, I wanted to put in a few more details, but I don't think I can make any more changes to the file, but all my headcanons of her are here, so even with this little problem, I hope you like it, so stay here with Komodo. I've taken into consideration the idea of the original concept of miraculous, Perfection, and who could be more perfect with her imperfections than her, so I've put in this asymmetrical palette scheme.

Biggest change for the universe, Kwamis and their Miraculous

I really love the idea of each miraculous having its own jewel, concept, weapons and everything that surrounds its universe, but lately I've seen a lot of ideas that have inspired me, and I must thank @gee-arid (who will also be credited in another post) for the idea of weapons varying by carrier, @kari-go for the power pearls and @arcadeology for the Tamagotchi idea.

Initially, the main idea was to keep the whole system already established and change the powers, weapons and appearance of the kwamis and miraculous as much as possible, but I feel that if I'm going to work with the expansion of the miraculous universe and the idea of prototypes before the miraculous (since a prodigious is a prototype, and I'll take that into account, as well as prodigious not being the only one to exist in this au), I've decided to organize all the "failures" chronologically until I get to the miraculous.

Prodigious was the first attempt to create magical objects, and in a way it was a semi-success, since they managed to communicate with the magical creatures, but they got the beings wrong, because instead of the Kwamis, they got the Reinlings, and only those who wore the activated prodigious could see them, as well as not receiving any power, only being able to summon weapons with a design similar to the renlings, as well as needing to be feeling the same emotion concept as the being.

Dreamous (Dream + ous) was the second attempt, this time they didn't try to put in too many beings at once, but they were looking for powers, and well… they succeeded, but again it wasn't the Kwamis, it was the Wisoums, beings of light that are representations of desires and aspirations, giving powers by adapting to the user's aspirations, the only problem was that they are faithful until death, that is, a system of registration imposed unintentionally,

After many attempts, with varying results, they managed to artificially create all the characteristics they liked from their previous experiments, and so with the Miracore device, the Miraculous were created, containers for the Kwamis, creatures who themselves have powers, as well as being able to evolve their powers with a certain amount of experience and share their connections with other beings (kwagatama). But Miracore allows these powers to be shared with the holders, as well as creating weapons, a security system, adaptability and shape-shifting. And even though it's something completely artificial, they were helped by Tikki (Kwami of creation), Xuppu (kwami of experimentation) and Longg (Kwami of mystification), so an agreement was created between the humans and kwamis, promising to help each other and not use these powers for evil. For this reason, many Kwamis are easygoing towards humans, while others like Pollen, Orikko and Stompp are not very friendly towards many humans.

Enigmous and Termous were attempts three and four, trying to correct the mistakes of the previous versions, they managed to bring in the Changs, beings who are representations of challenges and problems, they brought an alternative to the adversities of the environments (the blessed potions), and the Fearbers, who are personifications of fears, bringing variation in attributes according to the bearer's fear. However, neither of these were "safe", as they were visible to anyone who had the same fear/problem, as well as gradually corrupting users in the long term.

Obs: Enigmous and Termous have powers, but they are very diluted due to their transformation, as well as being able to change shape. Any more information than that is a spoiler, sorry.

Considering the series, what you would change do make the series better? You can do anything, except changing the powers, like you doing.

A very interesting game, but quite vague, even with the restriction of not being able to change powers, so here are my rules:

I can't use any reference media than canon;

I can't advance (future season eps in early seasons) events, only delay (early season eps in future seasons). Remembering that if it's something that would have happened if another character had caused it before canon, I can anticipate it, like if the character is smarter or more defiant, it would already count;

If I change miraculous, I can only do it with characters who have already been ported in the series, and I can only use characters available in each season.

Let's start the fun:

Starting with the main change, the delay in the villain's appearance, Master Fu discovered that the butterfly miraculous was for evil and went after the carriers, the same scheme, but he didn't deliver the miraculous right away, because Wayzz said that Nooroo's energy was too weak to say that it would be active so soon.

Meanwhile, Nathalie planned to betray Gabriel because she thought Adrien deserved his father's attention more than getting his mother back, but her goal was still to get Emilie back because she was in love with Gabriel; during this week without a villain, Nathalie would have resigned, forcing Gabriel to look for another secretary, and in the meantime she would have devised a plan to steal the Wonderful and the Wondrous Book, and so in the middle of the night, by switching off the cameras to make it look like a blackout, she stole the book, the peacock and the butterfly, leaving a copy for everyone.

As Master Fu had a week to find his bearers, he ended up finding three ideal bearers: Kim, Max and Alix, and knowing the villain's delay, he decided to give them the strongest miraculous ones to get used to, being Ladybug (more because it was obligatory), Rooster and Dragon, leaving them in their backpacks. However, as Kim is forgetful, he ended up losing the dragon's jewel without realizing it, and Chloe ended up finding it.

With this we would have Bettlix, Phoenix and Royal Scales, in the first week, Max would be the most excited of the three, because he wanted to discover the limit of his powers, Alix would be indifferent, because he hasn't met his colleagues yet and the villain hasn't even appeared, Chloe would only want fame and attention, but wouldn't tell anyone.

Simple sketch to show them, I tried to follow the canon rules on designs, and I used a single color and didn't make a whole lineart, because it was just an idea and more practical. Even though Chloe isn't wearing a mask, her identity is protected by magic, her hair is red, and her eyes are brown (so even if she wanted to, it would be difficult to find out).

That's it for now, if you want to know more you can ask, I doubt this will become an AU, at least illustrated, since it's my plan for the DE.

Balance of power (updated)

In this post, the powers are up to date, maybe they'll change, but I doubt it now. I haven't added the weapons yet, because I need to post about the new weapons system, as well as the Yin-Yang and Chinese element classifications.

Ladybug Miraculous 🐞 Tikki - Kwami of creation Luck charm no longer exists, since creating an object that always guarantees victory (it's a bit of an op, isn't it?), but it now has 3 powers in addition to purification and healing: Genesis, which allows the user to choose an object to create, just like the goat's previous power. Terraforming allows the user to transform the terrain in any way they wish, limited only to creation. And the third is Demiurgy, which is basically transforming one thing into another (transmutation), which must be something equivalent, and is limited to objects only. *Note: The Purification of Akumas has been split with that of the cat, but only works in Symbioses; and the Repair of Luck (Miraculous Ladybug) only works on things destroyed by villains.

Cat Miraculous🐈‍⬛ Plagg - Kwami of Destruction I've changed the cataclysm, now with 3 new powers: Corruption creates an energy in the palm of the user's hand that causes a defect in whatever it touches, being regulated by the user in the intensity of the defect, time to start and what the defect will be, which can be either malfunction or resistance worse than sand. A black hole is a point that can be fixed somewhere and attract everything to a single point, or launched, going in a single direction destroying everything in its path until the bearer deactivates it. And the third is the Feral, which basically increases physical characteristics such as speed, sight and strength, as well as creating claws that cut anything, but only for a short time. *Note: Purification only in Guardians; and the Chaos destroyer (miracle ladybug) only works on things created by villains.

Bee Miraculous🐝 Pollen - Kwami of submission Royalty allows the user to give orders to individuals/beings considered, essentially, inferior, and which cannot be disobeyed, only going out of control when they finish the order. Devotion allows an ally a brief increase in powers, as they are "blessed by a queen" if they accept the bearer as their "superior".

Turtle Miraculous🐢 Wayzz - Kwami of protection Barrier allows you to protect any part of your body, allies or objects with a thick, hard barrier that can last up to a certain amount of damage. Resistance protects the bearer or object, making it invulnerable to physical and magical attacks, creating a wave that pushes opponents away, the weaknesses being the powers of the cat and ladybug (demiurgy).

Fox Miraculous🦊 Trixx - Kwami of Illusion Make believe is basically the mirage, but with the difference that it can't be applied to the user, apart from the illusions becoming "real" for those who believe it is real. Trick is an exchange of senses, allowing you to change the enemy's senses or erase them, the greater the change, the shorter the illusion time.

Peacock Miraculous🦚 Duusu - Kwami of imitation Mimer forces the opponent to imitate his movements until he loses visual contact, even minimally. Kaleidoscope allows you to imitate the last attack received on a smaller scale of power, but with multiple attacks.

Butterfly Miraculous🦋 Nooroo - Kwami of manifestation Symbiosis allows you to create a parasite (caterpillar) which, when it comes into contact with another being with emotions and will, it is forced to follow its main will/desire at the moment, gaining powers to fulfill its desire, and initially it has control of itself, but little by little it loses control and becomes a zombie of its will. Guardian (butterfly/moth) allows you to create a being that will do the bidding of its creator (target), and cannot be controlled, only doing the bidding, with the shape and powers to fulfill that wish. *Note: to cease to exist, you must knock out the villain.

Rabbit Miraculous🐇 Fluffy - Kwami of Multiplication Divider allows the user to split into identical copies, where only the snake can tell the difference, and who share their experiences, being able to split unlimitedly, however, their copies cannot receive much damage, crumbling into smoke.

Snake Miraculous🐍 Sass - Kwami of intuition Clairvoyance allows the bearer to see an ethereal dimension and the essences (inanimate does not possess) of people, thus being able to focus and track a person, from footprints, smell, to seeing through walls;

Goat Miraculous🐏 Ziggy - Kwami of the Opposition Breaker any effect, in itself or in third parties, that the user chooses, will have the opposite effect to the default, before or after receiving the effect, so a slow effect would be agility and vice versa.

Tiger Miraculous🐅 Roarr - Kwami's expression Wave creates a sound wave that the user controls the frequency of and which affects electronics and motor functions, basically being an exchange of senses, and depending on the frequency can break anything.

Ox Miraculous 🐂 Stompp - Kwami of irritation Fury spectrum allows the user to increase their attributes and generate an aura on themselves with any color, the more violet the more powerful, however this depends on your emotions, in addition to the more powerful you get, after the effect wears off, you will feel great muscle pain.

Horse Miraculous 🐎 Kalkki - Kwami of Migration Glitch allows the user to completely transform their body into something ethereal, being able to "teleport" short and/or long distances, since while transformed, the concept of time doesn't exist, thus giving the impression of teleportation when they deactivate their powers. However, while activated, he cannot interact with the world, but he can take things into this ethereal "world", as long as he is holding them.

Dog Miraculous🐕 Barkk - Kwami of cooperation Barkk allows you to create an invisible chain, sharing anything from damage, vision, thought, strength, speed, movement, except powers; being limited to just 1 attribute, but it doesn't have to be between the user and another, it can be opponent and another or user and animals (although it would probably be used for sight, as it's already too cruel to use it).

Mouse Miraculous🐀 Mullo - Kwami of proportion Scale allows the user to change the size of objects, themselves or both, not limited in size, being able to increase or decrease the size, not bringing the complications of the sudden change of size.

Pig Miraculous🐖 Daizzy - Kwami of gratification Payback allows the user to repay a target for their "karma", so the worse the person, the worse this "gift" will be, it could be pain, numbness, bleeding, or if it's good, boost, protection, etc.

Rooster Miraculous🐓 Orikko - Kwami of prediction Sixth Sense allows the user to predict the opponent's actions and the things around them, being limited to only one target at a time.

Monkey Miraculous🐒 Xuppu - Kwami of experimentation Incognito allows the bearer to "add" a characteristic, previously not present in the object, to experiment with the effects, one more being: "what if that ball was heavy" or "what if that pencil was explosive", being totally limited to: not turning the object into something magical (indestructible, repelling magic, those things out of the ordinary for us).

Dragon Miraculous🐉 Longg - Kwami of mystification Awake allows the user to transform and gain abilities from any material she touches when activating her power, "turning" into a dragon/semi-dragon from the material, the abilities vary from material to material, from manipulating it to being able to generate or survive on it.

I just noticed on your ladybug and cat names post that some of the (civilian) names are white and the others are gray. Does that mean anything or am I just looking too much into it xd?

Technically yes, initially while I was sorting and organizing the timeline, I left the white names as possible carriers and the grey ones as unlikely to receive (at most for one episode), but it turns out to be an outdated list, since now the uniform rules have changed a bit, so some names pulling colors, like Lady Rouge is now Pale Dame, maybe I'll post the updated list later.

You said that you will do some representation, It's only for the apparency or for genders/sexuality too? I mean, any trans character?

Both, and probably yes.

Like, Marc is a non-binary character in au, although he should be canon, but…

We have two characters that I'm in doubt about making them trans or gender fluid, Alix being trans and Max gender fluid, or vice versa, or maybe both trans. And like, Maximus/Maxine is an idea I saw here on tumblr and it might suit the character, even for a certain arc I have planned (also for akumatization), as well as Alix, but if I make them both trans or gender fluid, I still have to see if it would be semi-canon (in which case consider the gender of the canon characters, but instead of cis, be trans, ftm!Max and mtf!Alix) or "invert" (mtf!Max and ftm!Alix).

But of all the ideas, what attracts me the most is Genderfluid!Max and Bigender!Alix, everything will depend more on my planning and how I would manage to make a design that passes both ideas (the original character + my headcanons/redesigns) without losing his identity (being able to know who he is).
