He's actually been waiting to dramatically reveal his beautiful hair for ages

After Burt teaches him how, Sven opts to be as precise and gentle as possible when doing his daughter's hair. Svenja would later end up really liking her hair that way, making it her usual hairstyle.

The taller one is Penninah "Penny" Wilford Copperbottom while the shorter one is Mercutio "Merc" Copperbottom

Penny was born the year after Reginald became chief. Ever since she was little she's been an awkward but well meaning goober. She takes after Reg the most with her sophisticated sense of style and her general lanky loser build. When she was younger she was trained to be the next chief, but it didn't come to be once Svenja showed more potential.

She's fine with it though. Penny was always scared of the idea of being leader. And generally scared of a lot of things (not heights though. She loved being in the Airship for this reason). She works in finances and is having the time of her life.

Merc's a lot more different than his big sister. Being born the year the Toppats launched the rocket (taking place after Toppat King), he's had a pretty good life. Despite being the son of the former chief and being in the clan at its most powerful, he strives for something. Something that he can claim as his own. Something outside of the Toppat Clan.

Ever since he was a kid he was always a smug little shit. Being a lot more spoiled than Penny was at her age, he's used to getting away with trouble. He often messes around with people for this exact reason. What's worse is that this kid is also Really smart and cunning so he's just an overall menace (Reginald and RHM are simultaneously proud and concerned for him).

The two are really close, even if they bicker a lot. They're ride or die for each otherand they'll complain the whole way through.

Some context for the 3rd drawing: Kayla had a Really shitty homelife. Her explosive temper and her general attitude (autism) made her the perfect target for bullying. Though she always fought back, much to her parent's anger.

Sven and Svenja epic family bonding moments!!!!!

Yeah, literally no one knows why Svenja exists. Sven just sorta brought in a baby that looked almost exactly like him one day and hasn't really explained anything.

One thing's for certain though, he really cares about Svenja and would do anything to keep her safe and happy.

To be honest, Svenja is a huge reason why Sven grows to accept himself, and ultimately become much more happier than before.

Without going too into detail, taking care of her made him realize that he doesn't need the acceptance of his family or even the rest of the clan. He's doing as good of a job as he is now and that's okay.

Just some info to get to know the two better:

Svenja's a very stoic person. Usually has the same =| expression on her face. But that doesn't mean she's emotionless, she just has trouble expressing her emotions.

Aside from that though, she's actually a pretty good at socializing. She's a great diplomatic, and an even greater strategist. She's worked very hard to get to the position she'll eventually earn. She's also got an interest in Toppat history and previous leaders.

Kayla is a Lot more wild and violent than her. Usually the main attacker in raids, she's very versatile in combat, whether using a gun, a knife, or her bare fists. She loves the adrenaline rushes it gives her, doing very well in high stakes situations.

She's also pretty awkward though, not really caring to interact with the other Toppats, save for a few and of course, Svenja. She owes a lot to her for letting Kayla become her right hand and is extremely loyal over her.

Fun fact, Penny's suit is supposed to be based off of the ones from the Regency Era

Mercs suit is based off of one by the character Louie from the ducktales reboot as i took lots of inspo from the character for him (refs under the cut)
