Throwback Thursday ＞ sweet pool Illustrated Cards [J-List Physical Release, 2018]

Has Venus's personality changed over the years ?

Yeah, I'd like to think it has!

I'll be honest, I didn't know what to do with her personality for real. But I do remember that I made her a "femme fatale" kind of character. The kind who's not tolerant of any stupidity (which, back then, Heliosphere had a ton of) so she gets exasperated easily.

She also constantly has a dagger look, or just a distant, "angry yet sad" look to her.

In the revamp, she's mellowed down a great deal.

She's still introverted and she still mostly keeps to herself. She still doesn't really have a preference for antics, but she's also very tolerant of others. She now openly enjoys their company, even if she's not emotionally showy unlike Earth.

Here's a redraw (2015 vs 2023; 2023 is a sketch so it doesn't have much effects unlike 2015)

Even if I still like the older concept for Venus, I still like the one we have now for better main cast chemistry!

One thing that never seemed to change is that she's a singer. I think I wanted her to be a ballad pop singer back then, or a jazz singer, not sure. But now, I made her an opera singer.

Here's a sample of her current singing voice. (around the 1:05 mark, I'd like to imagine the guitar solos are by Mars and she's the opera singer)

Actually while we're on the topic, she and Mars both mellowed down over the years. Same with Mercury, but Mars significantly mellowed down. Here are some examples:

the issue i have with mp100 mlm ships is that i just cant imagine any of those guys having relationships with each other.

like serizawa and reigen arent dating, reigen is his weird but friendly and well-meaning boss. serizawa has his own life outside of work he goes to like cram school and stuff getting together with his boss would be so weird and awkward to him.

throwback to a time before I had watched ofmd and had just seen some posts about it and thought stede was pronounced like ed just with st, so i always went "haha its ed and sted again" in my head whenever i saw something about them

aapi heritage month headcanons pt. 3 !!!

just in time for s3 of dndads, let’s get into it! this one will probs be a lot but so much has happened in the past year 😭

- taylor LOVES chinese new year, he looks forward to it every year as the favorite (only) child and he eats all the dumplings he could ever eat and gets tons of red envelopes

- cassandra and morgan become best friends/mother-daughter relationship vibes post-doodler, like they are the most badass and cool women in the world and i do think taylor grows to love morgan so much and even though his relationships with nick/glenn are strained, at least he has the best mom and grandma

- as a voice actor for anime/cartoons i think cassandra really did fall in love w the art of anime and i’d love for her to guest at a con (make her the j michael tatum of her world PLEASE) and taylor gets a free ticket to weeb out as much as he wants <3

- in my heart glenn is trying his best, like he really wants that closeness (haha) and i think now post-doodler it's like literally what started as a father/son duo of him and nick now is genuinely a huge (kinda fucked up) family that is trying to mend itself and i do think it starts with chinese takeout !!!

- sidenote i think the close/foster/swifts etc are a great example of how freddie has subverted asian stereotypes fr and also how a family stuck in an absent/neglectful cycle has the ability to come together again

- the mending includes hermie too, hermie definitely deserves something more in his life and the chance get to be a kid w a home in the form of a big family w his bio dads (his normal parents are invited too) (and i also love the idea of normal being like 'grandpa henry! this is the guy!' and hermie being an honorary oak would be so cute 😭)

- hermie went and saw joy ride (2023) bc it was marketed as a comedy and came out bawling his eyes out from that one scene y’all adoptees know what im talking about

- tbh thinking about taylor's closeness w his mom and francis's w kimon wan literally asian moms are holding this show together

- the farnsworth’s are thai and german and they came to peachyville at a young age to give their newborn son a better life very starting nuclear family vibes, ed definitely learned thai for her, and now their son is a bowling champ!

- francis farnsworth and taylor swift are lowkey the spectrum of asian upbringing where it's like midwest asians vs socal asians 😳🤭 they live in different worlds

- kimon wan is an immigrant mom just trying to raise her family and her damn son wont stop being a loser 🤦‍♀️ literally milf w a shotgun (ed is a lucky man FR) (sorry anthony burch)

- when francis is having a really tough day then kimon wan will leave a plate of cut up fruit at his door so he knows he's still supported

- luo's golden wok is the first and only chinese restaurant in peachyville and they have to have the best pepper steak ever im calling it now

- tony collette would love and hate both jodie and glenn i think for different reasons but instead of calling them formosans he’d call them orientals 💀

- also tony collette is 0.0001% asian (chinese) and tyrus luo either DEFINITELY knows which is why he puts up w all the bullshit tony does or tony is determined to make sure that tyrus NEVER finds out ever

- they have a 'throwback' silent movie night at the drive-in and they show a meryl streep film and literally everyone falls in love w him 🥰

- billion millions was a crazy rich asian and he was an icon

- once again they mean the world to me! might end up posting more at some point who knows lol

hi guys! here is my little version of jeff the killer! this version is based on how i cosplay him. i know he is quite popular; him and slenderman are the sort of faces of creepypasta so I hope this plus some of my other doodles are a good sort of welcome/ entry into the creepypasta fandom ^w^.

This was a quick doodle hence the messy shading and sketch. i will still attempt to fix up my page and stuff. I like that theres no word limit and i get to yap. Here is my entry of my day along with this doodle. i was listening to billies new album to this and a few of those 2017 edit audio songs. it was quite the throwback. i cosplay jeff sometimes and i always giggle at myself because i am too short even for my own jeff headcannons haha. i think i will start using tumblr as a weird journal whenever i post artwork. my drawings mean alot to me and they really do reflect my mental status so having some sort of checkpoint of thoughts is cool.

as some of you may know, i am severely mentally disordered. i am stuck in my room and when im not, im a day patient at the psyche ward. at first the obsession was with leon kennedy and zack fair from their respective games. i dont really know how my mind teleported back to the creepypasta fandom. when i was a kid i would run away from the hospital anf run to the forest alot. i was always caught and my stay was extended. i would be wearing almost nothing but basically a pregiven set. haha. i used to favour slenderman and eyeless jack alot but over time when i finally got home i would read fanfiction of the other popular ones like ben drowned or jeff or ticci toby. i am back at the mental ward because of an incident in january and how it affected my psyche. pooper! oh well, sometimes people are nice to me but when im not doodling (i am not allowed to listen to music), i blank and forget my day. my parents are super nice to me though so i hang out with them or grill. I grilled chicken yesterday and marinaded it qith my brother wahahah. ok thats enough bai. yay.

For those of us who started between last year and now, as well as for those who plan to start in the new year, this note is for you.

Just seeing how the association of feminization has become more of an acceptable encouragement of adopting feminine qualities is amazing enough. But to hear about people adopting femininity IRL is even more amazing! Whether it’s because we have a better knowledge about gender, a need for more positive affirmations, or a more united network of trans girls, femboys, and others, there’s many factors as to why we see a new shift on feminization captions now. This couldn’t have happened without your abundant support of content creators that target less of the forced fem and more of the feminine spirit. You know the ones: think GGS-Trans-Inspo, PrincessVikkiPNK, and others.

Most importantly, I cannot thank you more than enough for letting me be part of this new generation of caption creators. To see how I started from making a small post on Tumblr to seeing my captions posted outside of Tumblr from other users is something I never thought would have happened. I also love the DMs I receive from all of you who support my caption work (the pictures aren’t mines). Now that my time is becoming more flexible, I hope to upload more original work and throwbacks for 2024. I really hope I don’t quit spontaneously, haha!
