a smile made its way onto alejandro's face as he ran the woman's doorbell. he'd let himself in if he felt as though he had to but typically, he liked giving felicity as much privacy as he could, especially since she didn't get a lot of it. once she opened the door, he gave her a nod. "good morning, felicity. are you ready for a busy day?" he went with her everywhere and so he knew her schedule like the back of his hand. it was best that way. he could properly protect her then. "i know i'm early but you're on a bit of a strict schedule today. do you have any bags i should carry to the car for you?"

alejandro gave her a single nod. he would almost prefer if they were friends too but regardless of the way they were between each other, he was going to make sure that he treated her with the same amount of respect he would have if they had more of a working relationship. nothing was going to change in that manner.
he chuckled at her words, "i think the secret service was almost too serious for me. i don't know. anyways, i happen to like being your body guard. i've had some other assignments before and they weren't as enjoyable as you are, i can tell you that. i'm just glad i happened to land a gig with someone who isn't insufferable."
the two went about their day as planned and he was there every step of the way to make sure that nothing happened to her throughout everything that was happening. he peered over at her as the two of them walked out of her script rundown and shrugged his shoulders, "i could eat. if you want to order some pizza while i grab a shower, i'll come over and eat with you, unless you'd prefer to be alone tonight, in which case i'll come over and grab it and leave you to it for the night. it's completely up to you."
âTechnically I am youâre bossâŠbut Iâd rather if you didnât see me that way, we can be friends, Iâd prefer that than anything elseâ she said, and began to reply apply her lipstick in the back seat of the car. She was tired, and when she looked at herself in her compact mirror she saw it on her features. This was going to be a long day she thought.
She listened intently as he told her what he had studied. âThe secret service is overratedâ she joked, gently brushing off his shoulder, âalthough being a body guard isnât too much fun eitherâŠyou have to put up with more craziness than I doâ she smiled, looking over at him. She couldnât help but feel that he was more impressive than she was, and yet she was the one being photographed and chased.
The day passed by quickly, there was a shoot in the morning for some magazine issue, and later a dress fitting for the movie, and after that a run through of the new changes to her script. Although she could get tired from all these tasks, Felicity loved it. It had been her dream to be in the movies since she had been a child, but when she was told she could go âhomeâ for the night (a hotel room in the city) she breathed a sigh of relief. On the way with Alejandro, she thought about the fancy dining room the hotel had, or the many restaurants the city had to offer and decided, a night in would be nice. âAre you hungry?â She asked him, looking to him as they walked out the door of the script rundown. âBecause I was thinking of ordering pizzaâŠwould you like one too?â

"somewhere where they can't get in. i think that you could find somewhere with a gate where you'd need the code and something tucked away. i don't know. i just think it would be worth looking into since you have to deal with all of this more times than not and you know, i'm always just a call away. it wouldn't change things unless you want it to, of course. i just want what's best for you."
within the blink of an eye, they were out of the door and he was pushing through the crowd to get her to the car. opening the door for her, he shoved her inside gently and climbed in after her before both shutting and locking the door. it was out of habit now since they had a fan try to pull the door open one time and he did what he could to keep her safe.
he shifted in his seat and looked over at her, "sure. call me whatever you want. you are my boss at the end of the day." he pointed out, pausing for a moment. "ah, alright. i'm from spain. i moved to america when i turned eighteen and went to college, so i do have a degree in criminal justice. i always thought i'd go into the secret service or something but instead, i just ended up being a body guard. i love where i am though. i wouldn't change anything for the world."
She listened as he spoke about her moving home. âYou knowâŠthatâs not a bad idea actuallyâ she said as she genuinely mused on it. âSomewhere where I had a bit more distance between my front door andâŠthatâ she said and pointed outside the window to where the crowd had gathered.
Felicity had been in a good few successful movies at this point, and she was currently shooting a new one with a male costar which was one of Hollywoods new stars, since sheâd been seen with him, and having done the publicity shoots, the attention from the fans had increased drastically.
She smiled at Alejandro as she came up closer to him, as she moved just slightly in front of him, she caught a smell of his aftershave. It was nice, she thought, and suddenly they were in the crowd. The paparazzi snapped their photos quickly, and the few girls held out their magazines, and the few weirdos yelledâŠwell weirdo things. She tried to stay as close to Alejandro as possible, not having to glance back to know that he was there. Once theyâd made it to the car she breathed a sigh of relief though the madness still continued outside. âYou do look out for your friendsâ Felicity said, finally answering his question once they got to the car. âAnd as your friend I feel I should know more about youâ she smiled as they began to drive off. âTell me a bit about yourself Alejandro, can I call you Ale actually?â She asked, as she adjusted her hair slightly into the car mirror.

alejandro had worked with a lot of stuck up people who hired him for protection but she was anything but stuck up. in fact, he got along with felicity pretty well. better than he'd gotten along with any of his other assignments and he hoped that the woman ended up keeping him around for a while. "no rush but we do have to be out of here in fifteen minutes tops." and that was pushing it. he was big on time management but he tried not to rush her too much since he technically worked for her.
"are you sure? i don't mind taking care of it." he replied back to her after going into the kitchen and grabbing one of the red bulls she'd offered him moments before. "we are going to set first and then we'll be moving into the hotel afterwards. i've already gotten a phone call that you room is ready but...you know me, i like to double check before you go inside, especially since the staff knows it's you that's staying there."
Felicityâs face immediately brightened when she saw it was Alejandro who was at her door. âThank god its youâ she smiled as she let the door open for him to come in. âYeahâŠIâll be ready in literally two minutes okay? I just need to finish off some thingsâŠhelp yourself in the kitchen to whatever you like thereâs red bull or âŠsome healthy juiceâŠthingâŠsomeone put in the fridgeâ she said waving her hand towards the fridge as she moved to grab her bag and put in her last few things.
Moving day always had her a little frazzled, but she was glad that she had someone like Alejandro on her team. Bodyguards that had worked for her in the past had sometimes been a bit invasive, and others standoffish, and she genuinely liked Alejandroâs company even though they hadnât been working long. âI just have this bag, so donât worry I can carry itâŠweâre going to the set first right?â She asked as she turned to face him.

she was right. it was best if he kept his hands free but even so, he liked to do what he could to help. though, he felt lucky to have scored a job with someone who wasn't so pretentious. in fact, he really enjoyed his time with felicity and it didn't always seem so much like a job. "i know. i think you should consider moving. maybe somewhere with a gate and a longer driveway so that the house is more hidden. i don't know why they think any of this is okay anyways." regardless of what she did or chose to do, he was going to be there to help her through.
"sounds to me as though he were just there for a paycheck and i like to think we're friends. you look out for your friends right? i don't want anything happening to you." alejandro shifted toward the door, one hand one the door knob and the other motioning for her to move closer to him. "let's get this over with. we'll move fast and get you in the car as fast as possible."
âNo donât worry I got itâŠplus itâs probably better if you keep your hands free I think it isâŠâ Felicity paused as she pushed back the curtain slightly and saw the group of people standing outside the gates of her home. She frowned, this was the worst parts of following her dream. âYeah itâs pretty busy out thereâ she sighed, and gave him a meek smile. Sheâd rather carry her own bag, in case Alejandro would have to push any body out of the way. Who knows what some of her more obsessed fans could try to pull.
She nodded her head as he spoke about the schedule, and felt very reassured when he explained how he would go into her hotel room first, âyou know, my last bodyguard didnât do thatâ she said and turned to him, now ready to go, âand there was actually a fan who had made his way onto the balconyâŠIâve never ran out of a room as quickly in my lifeâ she said with a lighthearted tone, but it had been terrifying. âI really appreciate your work Alejandro, I must say youâve been the best bodyguard Iâve ever had⊠I mean it, I have felt the safest with youâ she complimented, looking at him sincerely.
