Wait, maybe something by a pal of mine on ao3? I feel like they wrote a lot of Thramsey that absolutely did me in, but I cannot name a title. Uh. I am so sorry.

Honestly, horror. Just straight-up horror. Body horror especially. I need it.

Although dismemberment, decapitation, disemboweling are basically my "Live, Laugh, Love" at this exact moment for one reason or another I'm loving the concept of a really sensual neck snapping. That said, the OG fave has to be knife goes in the mouth and out the back of the head. Choke on the blade, choke on their blood, honestly I cannot get enough.

not exactly an anti, but still. i was reading this really well-written fanfic about this really controversial ship (one of them tortures the shit outta another in canon). it was all fine and dandy until the torturer got called a psychopath in one of the chapters, then the comments were filled by this very pissed-off person who has spoken in fluent uwu for some reason. because torture and borderline sexual assult were completely fine, but calling someone a psycho isn't. (1/2)

can i just say, i love you for defending thramsey. It's one of my most hated ships, but I hate people harassing REAL people over FICTIONAL characters more. I also agree with what you said about jc. I find it a really interesting ship in a fucked up way, and was really annoyed to find most of the people in the jc tag romanticizing it. The fuckedupness is what makes it interesting to me.

haha if anyone had a doubt I also really fucking hate that ship but I mean, there’s no way I’m going around telling people to not be into it until they tag it so I can avoid it to my liking. seriously???

also I could rant for hours about how much I can’t stand the fact that a lot of jc shippers don’t seem to understand it’s hella fucking abusive (and tbh lately I’m finding it worse than t/ramsay because at least that one is straight-up badwrong and no one tries to make it look any better than it is) and then usually come into the jb tag to share their opinions which also include pushing that idea that jaime is The Worst because if he’s not then the entire romanticization of that ship falls apart while they assume all people who ship jb do it because they’re ugly and they self-project but.... like.... I don’t go on their tag telling them they’re wrong and I only reply if I see them on the tag or my dash, like hell I go look for it. I totally get that it’s v. interesting on a fucked up level (which is not my thing thanks) though to me it’s... really downright abusive lol but like. I wish that fandom had the self-awareness the t/ramsay fandom has BUT LOL IN MY DREAMS. anyway, as our friend voltaire supposedly said, I hate your opinion but I’ll fight to death for your right to say it so I guess I’ll be here doing the t/ramsay defense squad when I couldn’t really give a fuck about it and I’d rather ignore its existence I guess xDDD

6. What is your most angsty ship?

Cole Turner and Phoebe Halliwell from Charmed. One of my favorite ships and they could have had it all save for Cole’s actor, Julian McMahon, was going to a different show, so the writers decided to make him go crazy and evil (which turned out not to be his fault) and just ended that ship so tragically–and they could have it aaaaaaaaalllllll. Thus, I became salty about Phoebe’s endgame because Cole and Phoebe were so perfect and just watching earlier episodes of them give me thrills but also remind how it’s all going to end in the later seasons. So yeah, so going to ignore canon on that. Thank God for fanfiction. 

18. Is there a ship the writers have ruined for you?

Hmm…the ships that I usually see get ruined either are on shows I don’t watch or pairings I didn’t ship or care about to begin with. There have been instances where I’ve had ships that don’t turn out but the writers haven’t gone so far to ruin it for me where I can’t write or read fanfic about them ever again. 

Aaaand I take that back. I just remember Liara. Shepard x Liara was ruined for me because the game kept shoving her down my throat and made Liara into the creator’s pet, which I hate. So I couldn’t get into any Shiara ships since the first ME game. 

25. Is there a ship you wish you didn’t know existed? 

Thramsey (Theon/Ramsey–leave Theon alone, he has suffered enough!) from GOT/ASoIaF and Nathan/Shilo from Repo!: The Genetic Opera (let’s NOT ship father and daughter, mmm okay?).

got emo about romanti-sexual loneliness and read some thramsey fic. i think what i like most abt thramsay is the idea of a person who is like...*genuinely* sadistic, who wants you to be actually scared of them, who wants you to hurt in a way you dont like, at least sometimes. because i (or at least, my sub submodule) has been genuinely scared of guys before, has been hurt in ways i dont like, and somehow its worse that they didnt even WANT me to feel those things, they did it out of incompetence. its like...a weird sublimation of a desire to be cared about, i think?
