first things first, you need to remind how coriolanus snow, heir of the snow name and everything that came to it, was now sitting between your legs, kneeling while his fingers teased your pussy through your panties.
on the dinner your father held to celebrate the development of his business growing up and being praised by the current president of Panem, your mother was in charge of the guest list, so of course she invited the Snow family, his cousin and his grandma'am.
you didn't expect it, but you should have expected that she would embarass you like this in front of your classmate.
"coriolanus, you're such a peach! i can't believe such a smart handsome young man like that still exists." you looked at her, lip syncing for her to stop, she didn't even bat an eye at you.
"i'm flattered, truly. but i'm sure i'm not the only one on the capitol with good manners." he said, smiling kindly at your mother. god, if he knew how your heart beat stronger when you saw this smile of his, you'd be damned. "your daughter, for exemple, is the sweetest girl i've ever had the pleasure to speak to. even though we only talked today." he said, the glass of posca on his hand travelling all the way to his lips but you could see how small his sip was.
"oh don't praise her too much, her grades are not as sweet as she is." she laughed, and you swear to god you preferred to die than to listen to that talk. "perhaps you could teach her a bit? i'd be glad to pay you."
"mom!" you called out, turning to him and shaking your hands "don't listen to her, please. truly, i don't want to bother you."
"non-sense, i'd be glad to teach you. and it would be even better actually, i'd have the chance to review the content of our classes." he smiled sweetly to you, and you thought you could melt right away from how shaky your legs were. "when can we start?"
he asked you, not your mother. you. and for the first time you felt seen, you felt like your opinion mattered.
"tomorrow, eight p.m..?" you asked, your eyes felt so wide looking at him, and he laughed, nodding positively.
"i'll see you at the library, don't be late." he patted your head. it was a swift move, and you blinked rapidly as you saw him walk away.
so, now, on your first class together, snow kissed you deeply, his hand gripping hard on your waist as you kissed him back. you didn't even know how it came to that by this point, but right now, it was the fifth library study meeting you had with him and the teasing he was making you pass through was too torturing.
"tell me, dear. what's the answer?" he asked, kissing your inner thighs and making your body shiver.
"i-i don't... i-i can't think straight like that, coryo, i-" he sucked on the fabric of your wet panties, your body jolting as his lips made contact with your sensitive clit, sucking on it and letting it go with a delicious wet pop sound.
"you can do better than that, c'mon. what's the answer, dove?" he licked you entirely, from your cunt to your clit, right through your panties. "you know you're not dumb, you just need to think harder."
"i-i know, i just- ah-" you moaned a bit when he pulled your panties aside, blowing on your clit and chuckling at how wet you were. so sweet, so pretty, he couldn't help but suck on your cunt.
"you're so sensitive, you just need to answer me and i'll let you cum, c'mon." he rubbed your clit a bit, slowly, your tears appearing as you sobbed a bit. "how many people Panem have in it's entirety?"
"3.5 m..million, coryo." you moaned out, thrusting your hips forward. it was too brain-mushing. you were looking so dumb and he didn’t even touched you directly- only his tongue.
"wrong, dear." he smiled to your despair, his lips kissing your clit before he sat by your side, pulling you to sit on his thigh with your back turned to him. "it's 4.5 million. c'mon, you knew it."
his hands found your waist pretty quickly, guiding you to ride his thigh back and forth, his kisses on your neck made you pout at the whole thing. he was such a tease.
"another question, if you get it right, i have a reward to you, okay?" you nodded submissively while he pinched your nipple, you didn't recall when but his hand slyly travelled to your boob through inside your blouse. "how many districts panem originally had?"
it was terrible. your pussy was grinding on his thigh like you were a bitch in heat, his pants were getting damped by you and you were oh so sensible it seemed like a joke.
"t-thirteen." you answered, and he smiled proudly, giving your clit a light slap which made you jolt violently. he sat you prettily on the desk, pulling his cock out.
"see? when you want to do get something right, you can. you just have to desire it." he said, passing his tip through your smooth wet pussy, his dick getting coated with your juices. "now, let's do some more to see if you got it right, okay?"
"mhm." you hummed, lips red and glossy, a result of the overstimulation you were recieving.
"good girl. now, how long did panem exist before the dark days?" he asked, kisses being placed on your neck.
"i-i don't know- i... uh, t..twenty years?" you attempted, only to be answered with his cock slapping your pussy, making you mewl.
"god, you're such a whiny baby. it's okay, i'll teach you that later. want to try another question?" he asked you, his tip teasing your hole. you nodded frantically. "good. now, why does the hunger games exists?"
"i-it's a punishment to the districts- because of the rebellion. a-and the rebellion is the motive to why d..district 13 don't exists anymore." he kissed you, smiling at you while pushing his dick inside, making you melt away any kind of inteligence you still had.
"god, you're so tight-" he moaned, thrusting slowly into you. the slowest he was, the more you cried, begging and sobbing for release, trying to move your hips on his dick. "shh, calm down, dove. it's just a few seconds and we'll be all good to go, okay?" he smiled when you nodded, pathetic. "such a good bitch. i'll let you suck my dick later."
your eyes seemed to shine at it, your mouth felt like drooling. "t-truly?"
"uhum. you've been such a good girl, let's make this your reward, okay?" you nodded frantically.
"t-thank you." and he thrusted faster into you, his rhythm quickening up more and more to the point your breasts were bouncing and he couldn't help but suck on them, his mouth messily sucking your nipples and fondling them kindly.
"you're so good to me, i can't help myself around you knowing your pussy feels so good on my cock." he growled, lips brushing on your as he spoke, kissing you messily while you moaned into the kiss, your pussy squeezing on him and milking his cock. "you're already cumming? god you're so desperate." he chuckled, pulling out of you while you cried out, your pussy clenching, missing his dick.
however, your leg was on his shoulder already, while his mouth sucked your pussy just as eagerly as you wanted to suck his dick, your scent filling his senses while he nipped lightly on your clit making you grip on his hair, your warm gummy walls squeezing his two fingers into you, but of course, two fingers weren't the same as his dick.
but, to your pleasure, he had the perfect fingers to your pussy, thrusting them quickly on your pussy while you melt away, calling his name, trying to warn him.
"c-coryo, coryo! p-please- g-god, stop! stop! i-i n-need to pee- i-" he smiled on your cunt, you were so innocent sometimes, how could you not know that this was just your body wanting to squirt?
he opened his mouth, sucking more of you on him, you moaned and cried out, squirting on his mouth as he smiled at you.
"i-i'm sorry, i'm sorry, i didn't want to-" he pecked a kiss on your lips, chuckling as you licked it, tasting yourself.
"that's a squirt, baby. that's not piss." he said, putting his cock inside of your overstimulated pussy, filling you entirely. "you should've seen your face, so cute."
"t-that's not funny" you said, nails scratching his shoulders and neck while he thrusted faster into you.
"yes, it is. you looked like a whore, you know?" he kissed your temple, licking the tears on your cheek. "all needy and wet for my dick. as if i haven't fucked you yesterday too."
"'s because y-you're too mean!"
"mean? me? and how is it?" he thrusted faster, pinching your nipples and making you mewl your cries out.
"y-you're always teasing me, a-and your fingers, t-they're always teasing my pussy too. you know it!"
"i know." he chuckled. "i can't help it. you're always so pretty and dolled up for me, you can't blame me for fucking you when your pussy is milking my cock like that." he said, nibbling on your nipple.
"c-coryo, i-i think i'm gonna cum again" you warned, but he didn’t care, and even when you did cum, he kept going until his balls twitched, his cum filling you up while your eyes were squeezed shut and your mouth was all red from all the times you bit your bottom lip.
"god, such a pretty bitch." he whispered, making you shiver while he pulled alway and dressed you on your pathetic panties again. "you're gonna sleep with my cum inside you, okay? i want you to."
you nodded in a pathetically submissive way, too dumb to contest.
"dear! dear, y/n's report card is here!" your mother yelled to your father, making you mewl in discontempt as you got out of your room with coryo, who had to stop mid way to get your hair brushed by his fingers and quickly straight your clothes.
"oh my.." your father seemed surprise as he analysed your grades. proud, even. since he always seemed too unhappy with your grades.
"what is it?" your mother asked, looking over his shoulder.
"her grades are much better than ever, great heavens, i can't believe it. it's almost a miracle!" your father said, smiling proudly. "dear, i'll let you have your credit card back, you can buy whatever you want okay? daddy will buy your favorite cake later." he said, patting your head and turning to coryo. "boy, i need to thank you, how can i ever repay you?"
"you don't need to, sir. i'm glad to help your daughter anyway." he said, smiling as your father patted his shoulder. "i can keep on helping her if it is of your liking."
"yes, please. it would be incredible if you did." your father said, giving your report card to your mother, who squealed happily while hugging you and saying something about framing your report card in a gold rosé frame. "but i may ask, coryo.."
"yes?" he asked.
"how did you get her to memorize it? we hired the best particular teachers in the capitol and she never improved. how did you do it?" your father asked.
"ah... it is just a particular studying method i invented. i'm afraid it is a secret, sir." coriolanus laugh filled your ears, and you wanted to laugh too, but you licked your lips only, tasting his dick on your lips.
"i understand it. please keep doing the good job. i'm glad you're teaching my daughter." your father said, giving you two permission to go back to fucking studying.
when you arrived to your room, coryo locked the door and you immediatly dropped to your knees, unbuckling his pants as you salivated eagerly for him.
"i'm proud of you, dove." he smiled, caressing your hair as you smiled too, his cock slapping your face a bit once it got out of it's confines, but you didn’t care, next thing you knew was that your head was bobbing on his cock and your panties were fulfilled by the time he left.

bsf!rafe taking care of sick reader
warnings: none! fluff hi lovelies! i just got this idea while i was sleep-deprived and really just felt like writing fluff since it seems i haven't been writing it much lately ,,, and also because what i have planned next for bsf!rafe is ... well, let's just say he's gonna be in the trenches.
you were certain this was the worst you'd ever felt. you should've known it'd happen - of course, taking care of your little sister while she was sick would have some kind of consequences.
the tv in your bedroom was playing old episodes of buffy the vampire slayer, something you always watched when you were hungover or otherwise having a bad day, and apparently now whenever you were sick.
you had no appetite, and your entire body felt like it was on fire while also being ice cold, your trash can filled with used tissues, your second box of them now on your nightstand next to a cup of tea that had gone cold.
a soft knock was on your door, and you sighed, you knew that your sister felt guilty for getting you sick, but you also didn't want her to get sick all over again. "i told you, don't come in!"
but the door still creaked open, and you let out a soft sigh, the heels of your palms now pressing against your eyes. "i told you not to feel guilty that you got me sick, i don't blame you."
"i wasn't aware that i did that."
you furrowed your brows when the voice that came from the door wasn't your little sister's soft, warm voice, but instead a rough, deep voice, one you were intimately familiar with. you didn't even need to take your hands away from your eyes to know who it belonged to.
but once you did, you were confronted with your best friend's tall figure standing at your doorway, a smile on his face and a grocery bag and a bouquet of flowers in hand as he stepped into the room, closing the door behind him. you pulled your blanket up to your nose, aware that you definitely didn't look the best right now, only making the boy chuckle.
"why are you here, rafe?" you asked in a soft voice that was muffled by the blanket, "i texted you to tell you i'm sick."
"i know." rafe said as he slowly walked over to your bed, sitting at the edge of it. "you do know that you don't need to hide, right? i've seen you sick a million times when we were kids." the boy chuckled, slowly pulling the blanket down, revealing your face.
"then why are you here?"
"i'm here to take care of you." he said with a small smile. it was odd, you were sure you hadn't seen rafe act this gentle since you were both children, the boy now pulling things out of the grocery bag. "i brought you some crackers, and some of your favorite snacks. and, chicken noodle soup. your sister said you haven't really been eating."
"rafe, you do know that you could get sick too, right?" you asked as rafe started emptying the contents of the grocery bag, revealing an array of some of your favorite snacks, your eyes widening.
"well, if i do, i expect the same treatment from you."
you narrowed your eyes as you looked at him, "you do know that no funny business is gonna go down, right?" and the blonde simply burst into laughter. "i mean, this isn't exactly an attractive sight."
"just let me take care of you."
and even though you kept trying to tell rafe to leave, that he'd probably get sick if he stayed, but your attempts were futile, and after a while, there was a fresh bouquet of flowers on your nightstand along with a new cup of tea, you had downed the chicken noodle soup, the warmth of it calming down some of the pain in your throat, and you were both now settled in your queen-sized bed, a cold towel on your forehead that rafe had insisted you needed.
"i can't believe you're watching this again." rafe grinned, his arm lazily thrown around your shoulder as he bit into one of the twizzlers he had brought, buffy still playing on tv.
"what do you mean? it's a great show."
"mmhm. and you're sure it has nothing to do with your crush on that emo bleach-blonde vampire?"
you softly smacked rafe's chest before taking the cold towel off your forehead, now having turned lukewarm. "you know, he kind of reminds me of you."
that statement made rafe grin, turning to look at you with lifted brows, "oh, yeah? is that why you have a crush on him?"
you simply rolled your eyes, letting out a small scoff.
rafe hadn't even noticed the moment you had gone slack in his arms, still focused on the tv, only realizing that you were asleep when you let out a small, adorable whine in your sleep. he looked down at your face, so serene and beautiful, it made something in his chest ache. he'd never tell you, but the moments he loved the most were the ones like this. ones when he could just admire you without having to hide it.
he brushed a strand of hair away from your face, tugging it behind your ear before pressing a soft, feather-like kiss on your forehead, looking down at you, an aching feeling stabbing in his chest, one that was more intimate than any of the sexual aching he felt for you. and that was the moment that he really realized he was in trouble.
and in a soft whisper, he said, "i love you." hoping that the girl it was meant for wouldn't be able to hear it.

bright as the morning
simon "ghost" riley
cw: plus sized!reader, smut, pwp, body worship, possessive behavior, jealousy, age (early 20s/mid 30s), simon can pretty much bench-press you, oral sex, missionary the mating press
bunny says: like fic? leave a comment! really like the fic? request your own! (title inspired by hozier's 'too sweet')
there was a period of time you thought you were ugly. you thought guys either ignored you or made comments because of your size. the sight of you made them gag and they'd rather be single than date you. even now with more confidence, you still couldn't believe when men hit on you.
you were waiting for your boyfriend at the mechanic's shop. you were in nothing too special, just wanted to join simon as he got his car. but you were adamantly listening to a mechanic around your age talk your ear off about cars. you thought he was just being nice.
but then you felt the presence of your boyfriend. the air got cold when he was near and he looked over you like a shadow, "the car's here."
you looked over and smiled up at your lover. he took your hand in his hand and headed away from the mechanic. you tried to keep in pace with him but his strides were just too big. then in front of the car, he looked over at he other man and pulled you close to him and kissed you through his mask.
"my doll." he said quietly, "was he causin' ya any problems?"
you looked up at him and shook his head, "nope. he was just being nice."
he chuckled, "yeah... nice. let's get ya home, i heard you were makin' me somethin' special for dinner." then pulled away but kept his eyes on you.
you smiled, "it's canned soup, simon." and turned away to get to the other side of the car. you could feel his heavy gaze on you as you got into the vehicle. simon got in soon after, you didn't even notice the look he gaze the other man as he put his hand on your thigh.
he pulled away for a moment to put the keys in the ignition, but it was soon back on your thigh as he pulled away and headed home. the entire way home, his large hand was on your thigh. his strong fingers squeezed a little at their softness.
"are you okay?" you asked as you looked to him. you placed a hand over his, the roughness of his knuckled brushed against you palm.
"fine, love." he said gruffly.
you sighed, "i know you better than you know yourself then. tell me, did the mechanic over change you?"
"nah." he said, "just some punk talkin' to my girl."
you raised an eyebrows, "simon. he was just being sweet. nothing to be jealous over." you patted his shoulder and continued to look at him.
he replied, "after all these years, ya still don't know how beautiful you are." then looked over quickly to reach over and pinch your round cheek, "prettiest damn girl i've ever seen."
-
simon knew exactly how he was going to show how beautiful he thought you were. he liked how your thighs touched together, he loved the roundness of your face. he loved how you felt in his arms. you never held a gun, you never had to starve while on missions. you were content with the life you led up to that point. it wasn't marked by violence. you were safe enough to be a little softer around the middle, and simon though it was beautiful.
even if all your personality was extracted, he would still worship you like a devotee. worshiped your softness, kiss the plush skin. perfect.
you were in your bedroom and simon had you in his arms. he was pulling the t-shirt over your head. you wiggled out of it and helped him get off your body. he dropped the shirts then felt you up, his hard grasp lingered around your arms. he toyed with your breasts and groaned to himself.
his mask had long since been taken off. you could see the scarring on his lower face. as he played with your curves, you leaned up and kissed him on the scar on his chin.
he sighed contently, "he can't have this. only me." he let out a short chuckle through his nose before he went in for the deep kiss. he thought of the young mechanic who was trying to hit on you. it wasn't that he couldn't believe that someone would flirt with you, he just didn't get that someone couldn't see that you were already a taken woman!
no one else was allowed to flirt with him, but him!
he soon dropped to his knees and pulled your pants down. then soon your underwear followed to around your ankles. he spread your thighs a little and dipped his head between your legs.
you let out a small noise and tangled your hands in his blond hair. your face felt aflame from his attention. you said, "simon!"
he chuckled, "too sweet." he kissed your thigh, "too sweet for me." then continued to orally pleasure you. he felt his soft thighs in his hands was a feeling that made him excitement.
you quivered a little and he held you up against him. you held onto his hand as his tongue lapped against your clit. you tasted like a dream, while a weaker man would expect his girl to taste like candy. but the nature taste of your wetness made his cock strain in his jeans.
"shit... simon." you whimpered.
he continued to lick at your sweet pussy and marveled in the sounds that you made. it was music to his ears as he heard you. he wanted to make sure you knew how good you looked to him.
a lesser man would ignore you for your size, but what did they know. simon knew better, he was a real man. and he loved a partner who was soft. meant it let him protect you.
he pulled away and looked up at you with wetness staining his chin. he said, 'c'mon, love. get those legs around my head." and then slowly got you up on his shoulders with your pussy right in his face once more.
he held you up by your lower back and continued to pleasure you orally. when he hit a sweet spot, your thighs clenched around his head. he made sure you were secure up there. perfect against him as made you feel good.
and with your hands in his hair, he felt amazing. his cock strained against his pants as he held you up. he often told you that it was like a bag of grapes when he picked you up. he was trained to hold up a lot more, so it was quite easy for him to pick you up.
you yelped from the sensation of his tongue on you, you panted as you held his head tighter. his forehead up against your stomach. it was a sore spot to acknowledge, but he knew how to make every inch of you feel special. even if you were insecure.
"always mine, doll." he said softly, his kisses littered the soft skin of your cunt. his touches were forms of worship across your back. he was a devotee to the religion of your love. he remembered the first time he made you orgasm on his fingers, he felt the thump in his chest. his cold heart shattered into a beating organ.
he had found a life post-war. something beyond blood and conflict. a place he could nestle his aching bones and rest. you had opened your heart and home to him, and he would be forever grateful.
it often shocked him that you weren't the most confident woman to ever exist. but he'd just have to show his worship every day until you believed it too.
he raked his blunt nails down your back side and over your ass before he held onto you lower back once more and tried to get as deep as he could against your cunt.
"please!" you whimpered, "i can't cum like this."
he said something then smacked your ass. he groaned between your thighs. it was his mission now to make sure you came on his tongue. he could hold you up all day if he had to. he felt you tense up and his assault on your clit gave way for you to hold onto him tightly and kicked out your legs as you finished on his tongue.
he chuckled as he got up slowly and headed to the bed. he placed you down gently and gazed at your naked body. simon saw the birth of venus painting when in a mission in italy. but he could believe he was seeing it for a second time when he looked at you.
you looked up at him, your face felt hot as you rubbed your wet thighs together. you didn't know what to do with your hands so you held onto the covers under you as you watched your boyfriend strip down into nothing.
that strong body, with a little more insulation than when you first met. but he was strong and imposing. he could still kill as effectively as he could when he was in the military. you swallowed and covered your face.
"don't hide from me. i want to see it all." he said as he gazed down at you.
you moved up the bed and he got on top of you. he handled you easily and with care. he loved the feeling of your softness against him. you felt like a dream, a warm heat he could find comfort in.
he didn't want anyone else to have you. he wanted you all to himself. to enjoy and love. to make him feel complete as he rubbed his cock up against your slit him holding your legs.
"i love you."
"i love you too."
he continued to rub up against you, teasing your pussy before he sank his length into you. he was tempted to pin you down to the bed, but he liked when you got all shy. he found in endearing when he made you blush so much that you hide yourself from him.
"do you like that?"
"love it."
he then slipped his cock into you, he sank in easily thanks to all his work on your pussy. he held your legs up as he pushed in fully. he exhaled deeply as he felt the air leave his chest.
you tried to kick out your legs once more but he kept them pinned to him as he started to rock back and forth. he moved against you, letting your wetness give him access to the deepest parts of you.
he moved against you and you held onto the bed under you.
"you look amazing." he said, "i wanted to kill that guy for talkin' to ya. i want you, and i want you all to myself. you're too perfect. all mine."
you looked at him and replied, you breathed deeply, "i only want you too, simon. i wouldn't want anyone else." you felt yourself get dragged as he got off the bed and held you up by the hips a she pushed down into your cock which almost left you in a mating press.
you felt your stomach in your throat as he pushed down into you. the sounds of sex filled the air as the two of you fucked on the bed you shared.
"i think you're just perfect." he said, "no other girlie like you. you make me wanna be a good man."
you replied innocently, "you are a good man." if you only you knew what he had done before he met you. he leaned forward and kissed you once more which squished your further.
he thrusted into you at a quick but steady pace. he watched your face changed the more he brought you pleasure. you were a sight to behold in front of him. he watched your body move against him, your curves shake with his movements.
you two fucked on the bed, well at the edge of the bed. it wasn't long however before you two felt close to orgasm. he cotninued to thrust into your body, he loved the feeling of the two of you against one another. it was a comforting feeling.
he thought you were sexy, but also a place of comfort for him. a place where he could rest his head and find content with life. he just thought you were amazing. the perfect woman.
with another hard thrust, he finished inside of you. and soon you clamped around his cock and came around it. you held onto the covers for support as he railed you. once you were over the tip of your orgasm, you felt the fight leave your body.
you both got to the top of the bed and cuddled in each other's arms naked. he rubbed your curves and kissed at your neck. he could feel the sweat on your neck. he sighed contently.
"simon."
"yes, love."
"you really do think i'm pretty?'
"i don't think you're pretty. i think every woman should be jealous of you." he chuckled softly as his lips went into your hair where he buried his nose in your strands. you were his mornings, afternoons and evenings, and no snot nosed mechanic is going to get in the way of that. <3

hiiii! request for kaz x reader but they have a toddler together
Aww, I love toddlers! I have a cousin who's almost 3, and I play so much with him, ah (I swear he never sleeps)
A/N: I kinda imagine Kaz as a boydad (not really sure) (but if requested I can write one where he has a daughter) Kid's age isn't specified, around 2-3 years old. Btw, I tried a gender neutral reader, but it wasn't as good as I hoped, so this is a fem!reader x Kaz. Sorry for grammar mistakes!
TW: touch aversion, loss of brother, miscarriage
(I swear it's a fluff story, we just need to get through the dark ages first)
It was a faint noise at first, which Kaz decided to ignore, despite his instincts. It was coming from one of the streets below. Another noise came, this time louder, that was definitely coming from the room next door. He still tried to ignore it.
The third time around Kaz didn't bother pretending that the crying noise would resolve itself, so he sat up in bed and reached over to his side. He found it empty, which made him get out of bed and walk over to the entrance of the room attached to the bedroom.
But he came to a stop when he noticed the crying toddler from mere seconds ago, now soundlessly sleeping in your arms, as you cuddled him to your chest, lightly rocking yourselves in the rocking chair.
"It's okay, I got him. Go back to sleep," you whispered to him, not even looking up from your son. Kaz let out a quiet scoff. "And have conversation with the ceiling? If we're both already awake, then I'm staying." He said and sat down on the windowsill next to you.
"Your grumpiness in the morning won't be my fault," you told him on a sing song voice, not wanting to wake your child. He just rolled his eyes as he caressed his son's head. "You hate the mornings too, wife."
"At least I don't have the temper of a wet cat, husband."
Husband. Kaz took a moment to take the word in. Even after years of being married, he still couldn't believe it when you called him that. Calling you his wife came easily to him, as if his well protected heart knew who you were, long before his mind got drowned in you.
You never would've guessed you'd be holding his hand, let alone be in the same bed with him. It took the two of you months to get this far. Ever since Kaz told you that he wants you to stay with him, in his own way of course, he had been trying to get past his aversion to touch. He never told you, worrying that you wouldn't see him the same, so he did it in a way that wasn't easily noticeable.
It started with the proximity. Day by day, he sat or stood closer to you and the Crows, getting used to the possibility of accidental touches. Then came touching your arm and back, making it seem as if he's just guiding you somewhere. He did that a lot as a protective gesture.
After the second month of these little things, Kaz got fed up with himself one night, when you got stabbed on your leg and he couldn't help treating your wound. So, out of pure annoyment with himself, when you came into his office with some documents he asked for, he grabbed your waist and held you close to him. Your bodies weren't touching yet, but it was closer than you've ever been to him.
Both of you just stood there, not moving an inch, getting used to the feeling of Kaz holding you, despite the multiple layers of clothing. It was like a breath of fresh air.
So, with months of carefully calculated work, Kaz was able to sleep in the same bed with you, holding your hand, without a knot in his stomach, or phantom hands trying to pull him under. He only needed one look at your calm, content face and he felt like he could breathe again.
"This is what I've been saying! I shouldn't have even though about it!" Kaz said sternly, more to himself than you, as you sat on the edge of his bed, clutching his shirt to your chest.
"Kaz, we both knew this wasn't going to be easy! But the fact that you've been making progress for more than 3 years now, means that you care enough to try," you told him as his hands went through his hair. "You care enough about me, about us. And that means a lot to me."
"Clearly not enough, if I cannot even do this..." he whispers to himself, but you hear him and look at him with anger. "How many fucking times do I have to tell you, that I don't need you to do this? That I'm not demanding this from you?"
"You know you could make it easier," Kaz finally looks at you, frustration written on his face. "You could go to a brothel and get it done, without watching your partner lose his mind and cry in a corner."
"Are you fucking kidding me?" You ask, the disbelief clear on your face as you stare at him. "Oh, you're serious? Damn it Kaz, I did not stay in Ketterdam because it was the easy way! I did not stay to watch you punish yourself for everything!" At your raised voice he looked at you as if he couldn't decide if he heard you correctly.
"Do not look at me like that, you know what I'm talking about! I'd like to remind you, that you were the one who said progress takes time, and that it's worth the waiting. That I am worth the waiting! So please Kaz, don't beat yourself up over this," you say the last words on a soft voice, that Kaz swears could lull him to a dream.
Kaz curls his hands into fists, but lets them relax as he sats down on the edge of the bed next to you. You look at him patiently, waiting for him to reach out to you. Despite the feather light touch he places on your cheek, his cold blue eyes seem to hold a certain heat to them.
"I'm blaming myself, because I can't touch you, or hold you, the way I want to," he whispers, his voice raspy from his emotions. "The way a woman like you should be held," he practically mouths the words onto your shoulder, slowly making his way to your neck.
"I would give all my money to treat you like you should be," he places a kiss on your cheek and pulls away from you, and you keep yourself glued to your spot, respecting his boundaries. Though, a voice inside you tries to convince you to pull him back.
You don't hide your feelings from him, instead you look at him with a heated gaze, and let him decide if he wants to continue or not. You could do it tonight, you want to do it, Saints you've been wanting to for a painfully long time, but you will never pressure him to make the first step. It won't lead to anything good if you push him, so you just keep sitting there, patiently staring at his eyes.
And when he nods, just a slight tilt of his head meaning he's ready, you reach out to take his face in your hand.
"Kaz?" You whisper and he hums in response. "I will give you all the kruge in the world, if you have tonight alone with me."
"You're bribing me into my own bed? I didn't expect this from you, Y/N," he says as he slowly removes the shirt you're still holding to your chest. You move up on the bed as Kaz tovers over you, his hands on each side of your head.
"Anything to get what I want," you whisper as you glance down to his lips and back to his eyes. Kaz slowly leans down to your lips, not wanting to rush himself. "Oh? And what do you want, darling?"
You don't even have to think before the word slips off your tongue, as natural as breathing.
"You."
Everything was fucked up. It wasn't supposed to happen like this. When Kaz reached out to his Crows for a job, for old times sake, a heist that shouldn't have been quarter as serious as the Ice Court, it went sideways at the last minute.
It was a blur to all of them how they got out, and none of them dared to question their luck. While you and Nina carried a bleeding Jesper back to the Slat, you suddenly felt a sharp pain in your abdomen, fearing that it might've been from a kick, or worse, a stab wound.
Inej, Wylan and Kaz surrounded the three of you, keeping an eye out for any more threats. Kaz pushed the Slat's door open for you to go inside, and Nina helped you get Jesper up into his old room, quickly setting him down on a desk he left there.
You were all grateful that almost no one was in the building, too busy living their life on a Friday night.
The pain in your abdomen appeared again, and you quickly checked yourself for a wound or bruise, but finding nothing you ignored it. Maybe it's from stress, it wouldn't be the first time.
The silence quickly disappeared when Nina and Kaz walked into the room, Wylan and Inej hot on their heels. They began arguing about Kaz's planning, Nina's still intact fear of using her abilities, Kaz's stubbornnes, and so on. You tried to yell at them to stop, not wanting to deal with their differences at the moment, but they didn't listen, even after multiple of your attempts.
During one of your outbursts, you sent Inej down to the kitchen to calm Wylan down and keep him company. She only returned to gave you a bowl of water and a towel, to clean off Jesper's wound.
As you worked, the sharp pain increased in your stomach and it took every ounce of your will to not double over. You didn't notice when Kaz and Nina had stopped their argument, but you did notice the eerie silence that followed. You were just finishing stitching Jesper's side, when you grabbed your stomach as a new wave of pain washed over you.
No.
No, no, no, no. This can't be happening. This is not what I think it is, you thought.
Please, don't let this be what I think it is.
You took a glance at your dark pants, but didn't notice anything, so you slided a hand between your thighs and checking it, you saw blood. You knew what it meant. You knew what this was, yet you had to take a second to fully wrap your head around it.
"Are you alright?" Nina asked from the foot of the bed, checking both you and Jesper. "Are you hurt? You look pale as a-"
"If she was, she would've told us Zenik," Kaz said on his usually cold voice, making Nina snap back at him. "How am I supposed to now, if I don't ask? Wouldn't be the first time one of you hid a wound-"
"Just shut up," you told them, but they didn't hear you over their new argument, and you felt the tears burning in your eyes, as you put a blanket over Jesper out of protectiveness for him.
You could feel the blood dripping down your pants, down to your leg, and you felt like throwing up. You took deep breaths to keep yourself from completely breaking.
"Wait, just, shut up for a minute Brekker!" Nina told Kaz and he was ready to snap at her, when Nina turned to you sternly. "Alright Y/N, I can literally feel the blood around you, so if you have any-"
"I need you to bring me my bag," you told her, not looking up at her, the pain still too evident on your face. "It's a brown bag, with clothes and hygienic stuff in it, it's under the bed in Kaz's room."
"Are you sure you're alright? I can check if there's anything that-"
"Nina, I'm having a miscarriage, would you fucking go and get it?!" You snap at her and making the mistake of staring at her while doing so. The unshead tears mixed with the pain in your eyes makes both Kaz and Nina freeze.
Kaz looks at you with wide eyes, his face going visibly pale, and his cane almost slips out from his hands. He manages to catch himself and leans his back to the wall for support. Nina doesn't know what to do, she just stands there, the tears streaming down her face. Before she could even try speaking up, you stop her.
"Please Nina, I beg of you, just get me that damn bag," your voice cracks as you try to hold back yourself from crying. As Nina opens the door to go, you will yourself to walk out the door, away from Kaz's hand, all the way to his room. Nina doesn't say anything as she gives you the bag, just looks at you mournfully, gently giving you a half hug.
You and Kaz stand in the room for what feels like hours, when you move to the small bathroom, unpacking your bag.
Why did I even ask Nina? I was heading here anyway. Nevermind, it got me time to compose myself until I got here, you tell yourself, a distraction from wanting to collapse to the floor.
When you felt the first tears escape, you furiously wiped them off, quickly getting some stuff from the bag. Your vision began to blur from your tears, despite your violent attempts at getting rid of them.
Kaz watched you with a mix of sadness, frustration and shock. He didn't even know you were pregnant. Maybe you didn't either, maybe you were just guessing, figuring it out. The state he saw you in when you realized what was happening, it was a stab to his heart. He didn't know how he could comfort you. He always understood your pain, but this time he knew he wouldn't. He would never fully understand this loss.
As he watched you become more furious with your tears, still trying to keep yourself from falling apart, he was there to catch you. Kaz abandoned his cane and wrapped you in a hug and let himself slowly slide down to the floor as you sobbed in his arms.
You told him you weren't ready for a child. He agreed that he wasn't either. Then why did this hurt you so much?
"I can't," you said but Jesper just scoffed. "Oh come on! I celebrate my wedding only once, and I already got Inej to drink. I believe the pirate life got to her," he giggled and you just shook your head at him.
Yes, Wylan and Jesper finally got married, which resulted in a small celebration within the Crows. Everyone was at their mansion in the dining room, congratulating the newly wed couple. Kaz was more alert than ever, never once leaving your side for more than a few minutes. Jesper even commented on it, which resulted in Kaz hitting his head with a slice of cake.
Jesper didn't mind though, he ate the remains off his head without problem.
"Just a sip for me, love! I even bought that fancy drink you like," Jesper said, practically begging you, but you just giggled at him. "Jesper, if a woman says no, then it's no."
"Alright, alright," he held his palms up, not pushing further. "Just tell me why. Normally, you wouldn't miss out on an occasion like this."
You took a quick glance at Kaz, and when he tried to cover up his boyish smirk with downing his drink, you smiled at Jesper.
'Yes, but normally I wouldn't be four months pregnant." The silence that came was filled with shock. Except the sound of Nina choking on her food, and Inej hitting her on the back for help.
"You're what?!"
"I'm gonna be an aunt, I'm gonna be an aunt!"
"I knew there was a reason Kaz acted like a guard dog lately!"
"Saints help this child,"
Everyone got so excited and busy with talking to you, that it gave Kaz a moment to relish in your presence. The way you were constantly smiling at them, already glowing from joy, your hand never letting go of Kaz's under the table. When Kaz felt someone's gaze on him, he glanced around to see Nina staring at him with a bittersweet smile, as if remembering the same thing he had on his mind.
This will be different. This will be better. This will be good.
As you came closer and closer to the end of your pregnancy, you became a hurricane of human emotions.
After announcing the news to the Crows, it was only a matter of time before you started showing. You and Kaz were both terrified of what could happen if anyone in the Barrel found out about your pregnancy. After endless days of debating with Kaz, you decided to move to Lij, Kaz's hometown for a few months.
The countryside relaxed you, and Kaz found it that if you had moved here sooner, maybe he could've evaded the aftermath of your mood changes. He thought this calm and happy version of you was far better than the one throwing knives at his head for gaining weight.
Since you came here, Kaz tried to deal with his trauma in this place too. He could still feel Jordie here, and in the first few weeks he was sure he was going to go mad. Until one night, when you were over the moon with the baby kicking, you advised Kaz to find peace within this place. So he did.
Reluctantly, annoyed and terrified to his core, but he did. He made a headstone for his family, he let himself mourn, remember the boy he once was.
He also didn't stop being Dirtyhands, now doing it via letters. He had Wylan and Jesper to take care of things for now, along with Anika and Specht. Kaz made sure to check on them quite seriously, despite not being able to go for more than a day or two.
One day he found himself working on the same things his father did in his memories. He made sure the little farmhouse had stable staircases, he rearranged the furniture almost everywhere, he fixed the bed frame in the bedroom, also fixed every single lock, door knob, window, and even made time to take care of the farm itself; the trees, the crops, the two horses in the stalls.
Despite trying to keep his hair as dark as possible, Kaz Brekker couldn't hide from the sunlight. Especially not when you looked the happiest when seeing him basked in sunlight, his hair brown like chocolate basked in honey.
"Just one more!" Nina shouted as you groaned in pain. You told Kaz that you wanted Nina to deliver your child, despite her lack of training. Though Nina helped assissting births before, this was different. All three of you knew it was different.
The baby was coming weeks earlier than they should've, which made you panic more than anything. You gripped the bedframe above your head so tightly, you could hear the wood creaking.
You've been at this for a few hours now, and you just wanted it to stop. Everything hurt and you wanted this to be over. Nina kept shouting at you, finding it the most effective way of keeping your focus on her. Kaz didn't leave your side for one second, except when Nina needed something to help her.
At first he kept his gloves on, the sweat of your skin making him doubt himself, but as the hours passed he got rid of them. His hand was gripping yours, trying to take away from your pain, if it was even possible.
But when you heard that cry, you felt the world stop. Nina was saying something as she checked on the newborn to make sure he was alright, but you couldn't hear it. The only thing that you focused on was the little boy, that was now placed on your chest. Everything fell into place as you stared down at him, with Kaz wrapping an arm around your shoulder, looking at his son like he was some kind of treasure.
You have spent hours in the rain to get information. You had knives thrown at you. You escaped death multiple times. Once you even drank poison to make a bluff look real.
All of them seemed like a walk on Sunday compared to the first year with your son. You could go on and on about how he didn't want to sleep, then didn't want to eat, then he would only stop crying when Kaz was holding him, then when he was constantly crying in his arms, scaring Kaz who had a hard time keeping the newborn at his chest, that when your son began sitting you were in constant fear of him somehow rolling off the bed, and-
And you would still say you love him more than anything. Because when he wasn't frustrating you, he was the happiest kid you've seen in your life. His giggle and laugh, the way his eyes lit up with joy while playing with him. Saints those eyes, those beautiful blue eyes, the exact replica of Kaz's. Whenever you looked at the two of them, you couldn't even try to deny they were father and son.
His hair turned out to be what you imagined: light brown, almost blonde, as if it was Sun kissed. He could be tricky just like Kaz too.
When he first stood up, not yet walking, you didn't saw him do it, but Kaz rushed to get you to make you see it. It was only a few seconds, but your son looked at you and sat down, and after asking him multiple times, he wouldn't stand up again. And the boy was giggling all through it.
His first steps were something that you'd keep in your memories forever. Because it wasn't a milestone just for him, but for Kaz too. Your son was past his first birthday, and Kaz was having a hard time with him. Something always went sideways, wether it was accidentally making him cry, or having to give him to you, because he couldn't hold him anymore.
You were moving back to Ketterdam to a quiet neighbourhood, where no one knew your face, the apartment purchased under a fake name.
Kaz was on the front porch of the farmhouse, getting the lighter boxes into the carriage. He heard footsteps behind him and when he turned he saw your son standing at the front door. You were just a few steps behind unmoving, not wanting to make him stop.
"You're gonna keep standing there, or will you help?" Kaz asked him, as if he could give him an answer.
He did this a lot with him. You noticed the habit by accident, when one time you came back from the market and heard Kaz talking to someone. You thought maybe one of the Crows came for a visit, so when you saw Kaz in deep conversation with your newborn about investments, you were more than surprised. From then on it became a daily routine for the two of them to "have a chat".
The child babbled something and Kaz nodded. "Start by coming here and picking this up," he said and held up a little toy blanket Inej got for your son.
And he did. He took four wabbling steps towards Kaz, purposefully looking at him before landing on his foot. Kaz instantly picked him up and when you saw one of his rare smiles, your heart melted a little.
Living in Ketterdam with a 2 year old was definitely the biggest job you and Kaz had to pull off. It helped that Wylan and Jesper was closer this way, if you needed someone to take care of your son.
What didn't help was the noise at night. Both of you got used to the sound of fights and drunks on the street, the neighbourhood far from the Barrel not escaping their voices. The two of you could've slept like it was nothing, if it wasn't for your child crying out in the middle of the night.
You had to take multiple turns in one night, and it was tiring the both of you out. With Kaz now back in the Barrel, doing his business, building his empire, it was slowly taking a toll on him. So one night, with the help of Jesper, Kaz snuck out with your son to his office in the Slat, figuring out a way to keep him calm.
You were in the Crow Club, tending to a few things, giving the impression that you were just travelling and doing jobs the past two years. You felt relieved to see how well Anika and Specht worked together, and felt a childish giggle in your throat as you fell back into your role as a guard. The rush you felt finally wearing your old clothes, the feeling of the knives strapped under your coat, and the sadistic joy of twisting a man's arm for the first time in years, it was unfathomable.
When you went to the Slat and made your way to Kaz's room you heard him talking again. Picking up on the calmer tone he used, you entered and noticed your son sitting in Kaz's lap, as he was pointing on a map in front of them.
"You're saying we should invest into Fifth Harbor?" Kaz asked but the toddler just said "ma". "Could you elaborate?" And with that he put the child's weight on his good leg and lightly began shaking his leg, as if the boy was riding a horse. He giggled as his own voice trembled from the motion.
"Yes, but in that case it'd be wiser to expand the Crow Club, or rather establish a new gambling den." Another sound came from the toddler, this time saying"mama". "Go, ask your mother yourself."
You were about to put a bullet in your head. Or at least ask Jesper to do it for you. By the look on Kaz's face you would have to wrestle for it.
You were spending the evening at Wylan's and what do you know, Jesper was ready to keep your son entertained the whole time. You on the other hand, were scared of what your toddler would accidentally say. He's been trying to talk to you for weeks now, only knowing words and not actual sentences yet.
But one night, when Kaz was late because of something he had to take care of, you were waiting for him in the kitchen after putting your son to sleep. He came in with blood all over his shirt, thankfully his coat covering most of it.
What you didn't notice though, was the small presence at the doorway, listening to the two of you talking.
"So, you just left him there like that? In his own kitchen?"
"You rather I tell him he's been a bad boy? The asshole was being overconfident with himself. Plus, he owes the Dregs."
"What did he even say?"
"I told him I have his contract with the Council, to which he said "You can shove it up your ass". I had a difficult day, so you know why I-"
"Your ass." The little voice said, wich made you look at him in shock. Your son was hiding behind the doorframe, clutching his stuffed animal to his chest. You looked back at Kaz in disbelief, which turned into annoyment.
"Would it kill you to teach him a decent word?"
"He knows the swear words from you, wife," Kaz told you with a smug look. "Fuck you," you whisper to him, but unfortunately still loud enough for your son to hear.
"Fuck"
"This is all your fault Kaz,"
So you were waiting for the bomb to drop, for your son to finally say one of the bad words he picked up, but the night went on without it. You bid your goodbye to Jesper and Wylan, your son holding your hand and waving at them as you did.
"You'll have to tell me where Jesper keeps his liquor," you ask of Wylan, and the little boy next to you finally speaks.
"Up your ass," he smiles. You just stare back at Wylan and Jesper's face with the best poker face you have, ignoring Kaz's cough next to you. Your son also says the word "fuck", but you're too stunned to pay it any mind.
"Uh, see you next week then," you tell them and turn to leave, but Jesper's voice stops you.
"Where the hell did he learn these?" He tries to contain his laugh, but the smile on his face fails him.
"Ma-ma,"
"I swear he's doing this on purpose."
A/N: The first half was more tragic than it should've been, I'm so fcking sorry, the idea just slipped out :/ Hope you liked it, though😅

Hi! May I request Ultra Magnus (tfp) having to watch Jack, Miko and Raf for a day, being forced to play a board game and to the surprise of everyone getting very invested in it?
☆彡彡 ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ ミミ☆
Hi !! I'd be more than happy to provide you with some content! AS MUCH AS I DISLIKE THIS BOT (joke, kinda, he's just old..) I think he's interesting to work with. So, here we go ! I apologize if this isn't perfect, it's my first time posting something I've wrote before. It'll be a small fic, let me know what you think of it !
¹ ❥ ☆ Mini Fic
² ♰ Transformers Prime
³ ˋˋ SFW ☆
Just one game !
“ Here is her guitar, her hairbrush, drawing book and all her drawing stuff. ”
Bulkhead pointed out each element as he spoke, making sure of Ultra Magnus following his exact directions. The ex-leader looked at the Wrecker confused, raising an eyebrow. He seemed to be wondering what could go so wrong with such tiny humans, and why the big bot felt so anxious at the idea of leaving Miko behind. He thought he was certainly being overdramatic.
“ that should be everything.. I need to go, they're gonna wait for me. ”
Bulkhead simply added before quickly waving Miko goodbye, transforming and entering the groundbridge, as Bumblebee and Arcee were already far ahead.
The bridge closed, and finally it was only him and the humans. He still wondered what so bad could happen for the three guardians to be worried. He looked over at them, sat on the couch, playing video games. They were relatively calm and still. The older bot thought now would be a great time to start working on some of his unfinished projects. The base was calm, the kids were entertained.
For now.
A loud, strident yelp came out from behind him. Startled, he looked over at the kids, instantly worried someone broke in. But no, it was just the Japanese girl, shouting at her friends because she lost the game. The commandant rolled his eyes, visibly annoyed.
“ Will you tone it down ? ”
He firmly asked, though it sounded more like an order. The young girl looked at him desperately, groaning.
“ THEY'RE CHEAATIIIIIING. I keep loosing, it's unfair. ”
“ In that case, you should switch games. ”
He stated, as if it was an evidence for him to move on from something that gets on your nerves. The girl stared at the bot, as if he said an absurdity, before she exclaimed.
“ YOU'RE A GENIUS !! let's play.. A board game!! What do you guys think ? ”
Jack shrugged and crossed his arms, apparently okay with the idea. The younger of them all jumped off of the couch, excited by Miko's proposal.
“ awesome idea ! Though, we miss a player. ”
Raf stated, his hands now on his chin, thinking.
It didn't take long for Jack to point at Ultra Magnus.
“ hey! Wanna join ? We'll teach you! ”
The leader looked perplex, not convinced at the idea of joining this “activity”. He stared for a moment, considering. It could be fun, after all, and give him a break from all the stress of battles.
“Very well. But only one game, I have to stay alert in case anything happens.”
The older boy nodded and signed him to get closer, which he did. The three humans started explaining to the bot the rules, to which he was surprisingly getting very interested in. They then got to the first game. Raf won, and, angry at himself, Ultra Magnus asked him some tips to get better.
“ how about we do a second round, then? ”
He proposed, to the happy surprise of the kids, that appeared to be pleased by the idea of the leader.
And then, they went on for hours.
The guardians came back several hours later, and, curious of the laughs and giggles they were hearing, snuck up on them.
They could not believe it. He was having a moment of genuine fun with the kids, that they all seemed to enjoy in it's fullest.
The three bots sighed in unison, relieved to see how well it went.
“Alright kids, it is getting late. Time for rest.”
The older bot announced, as he noticed the humans yawning. Without any signs of resistance, they hopped in his servos as he started walking to their room. He noticed Bumblebee, Arcee and Bulkhead here, to which he simply nodded without stopping. Once he made sure they were safe, he softly smiled.
“ I assume it went well..? ”
Arcee questioned, to which Ultra Magnus simply hummed.
“ we had a great time.”
He assured, a satisfied grin on his face.

sorry, i need your help feeding my delulu if you so accept! miggy, but we are pregnant and he is going to be a dad again so he is soft but also so scared and aaaah!
HI ANON, DON'T BE SORRYYYY tbh you guys also feed my delulu when y'all give me reqs, this is a two-way street babes (✿◡‿◡) i hope you like this, i really wanna make it emotional bc this man and babies...... the multiverse hates them together 🥲
(reblogs are greatly appreciated, it helps get my content out there! if you guys like what you see, please reblog it too <:D)
a second chance (miguel x pregnant!reader)
summary: you were going to deliver to miguel the happiest news you had ever received in your life--that you were pregnant with his baby. though... the wound of his past have yet to heal, and despite his love for you, his trust in himself is still practically non-existent. do you believe he deserves this chance, to be a father again? word count: 1,444
"you had something you wanted to talk about?" miguel asked you with a slightly puzzled look on his face as he sat down on the couch next to you, a little anxious internally. because for all the time you two have been together, you've always addressed your concerns and issues with miguel straightforwardly. you've never put off directly stating what was on your mind when you were with him, never once, and he loved you a whole lot for it. so why are you suddenly being a little... cryptic about whatever this was?
you looked at miguel with a slight hint of a smile on your face as you scooched over a little closer to him. you wrapped your hand around his, and soon, began to explain what you wanted to tell him. "mig, um... i really, really want to tell you that you are the most loving man i have ever met in my entire life." you said as you chuckled slightly to yourself out of sentiment, which miguel raised his eyebrows at. "and, well, you've made me feel the happiest i've ever felt in a long, long time." you went on as you interlocked your fingers in his.
miguel felt a little flustered in the face when he felt your touch, despite being with you for a long while now, he's never gotten fully used to the delicate feeling of your dainty, smaller fingers around his own coarser, bigger ones. he could hold you forever, if you'd let him; and when he means forever... he means forever.
you rubbed your thumb over his finger, evoking him to show a small smile as you continued. "and, miggy, i want you to know that, no matter what happens at the end of every mission... i'm always waiting for you, i'm always here for you." you reassured him, which just made his smile grow wider and his eyes become softer. "querida, what... what is this about?" he asked with a gleeful expression on his face, though he was still unsure of where this conversation was going.
your lips curved into an even happier smile as you leaned against miguel, though your face showed slight undertones of anxiety that was shrouded with the brightness of your joy at the news you were going to tell him. "i love you, so, so much miguel. and i hope... i hope you won't stop loving me for what i'm about to tell you." you told him as your voice softened, as you prepared to whisper in his ear exactly what you meant to tell him.
you leaned closer into his ear as he muttered under his breath, "i'd love you all the same no matter what you'd tell me," and soon... you came out with it.
"i'm pregnant, miguel."
those three words stupefied miguel for a moment. as you pulled away, he looked at you right in the eyes, and you could see in his own just how wide they got. the gleeful expression on his face was replaced with astonishment–and just like you, with slight hints of worry and anxiety.
"you... you are?" he asked as his voice shook. you nodded slowly, biting the inside of your cheek as you felt like this was where you two would end, this is when you'd see a version of miguel that you wished you'd never see–but it happens, sometimes; miguel is only human, and he's lost a daughter he considered his... of course you wouldn't blame him if he didn't want this.
but instead, miguel's surprised eyes were filling up with tears. real, live, genuine tears were welling up in the poor man's eyes. his brown eyes watered up as he asked you, over and over again–a smile growing on his face every time you said 'yes'. "i'm gonna be a dad? and you're... you're gonna be a mom?" he asked you, to which you–in your equally teared up and emotional state–answered him a soft, "yes, miguel. we're gonna be parents."
miguel let out a small chuckle as he held your hands in his, thanking heaven above for gracing him with you and for letting you bear this child you two made. he wept tears of euphoria–happiness wouldn't be enough to describe the feelings he felt when he realized the love you two shared had been given life, would be given a name, would cry out and be welcomed into the world and... and...
"...they'll live a life..." he muttered silently as he looked down at the cushioning of the sofa, staring into nothing in particular as he felt himself freeze up. miguel still couldn't stomach those two facts that hit him when you announced your pregnancy: he'd be a father, and he'd have a child–again. honestly, he has wanted this chance for the longest time. but when that opportunity presented itself... miguel ruined a whole universe in his wake. he felt like he killed a child–his child, but was never his child. he doesn't feel like he deserves this chance again; maybe it is a punishment for him, to remind him of his fatal mistake that day when he gave in to the temptation and stole a daughter that was never even his.
he felt filthy, and still feels that way.
"mig?" you called out to him as miguel muttered to himself, letting go of your hand slowly and placing his head in his hands. he muttered to himself, asking himself if he's even worthy of this second chance. you placed your hands on his shoulders, and wordlessly... you wrapped him in your embrace. you knew he'd do this, this was why you felt so anxious to tell him the news–but the miguel o'hara you loved and would become the father of your child, you felt, deserved this chance.
"i am so... so sorry..." miguel muttered as he looked up at you, his eyes teary now due to saddened sobs, his mouth curving down into an evident frown–his eyebrows curving upward to show remorse, guilt, and shame. "i don't know what i did... to be absolved of my sin, to... to be given another chance... as a father, a real father this time... i'm sorry..." he muttered through feeble sobs as you held him closer.
"miguel... i won't pretend i know what you're going through, or that i think i know what challenges your facing, but... this is your child–our child. if i'm given this chance to be the mother of your child, so be it, i'll take that chance. but i want you to realize... this isn't just your chance, it's ours. it's our child. never feel guilty for wanting to be a father again, and... please, don't think that you don't deserve this. we both do. and i'll take it, i'll take it with you because... i love you. and i love our child, i'll love you both so, so, so much..." you uttered to miguel as you watched the tears stream down his face as you spoke to him, your voice yielding to the torrent of emotions both you and miguel felt at that moment. you knew your words alone may not be enough to heal the wounds from his past, nor will your child with him ever erase gabriella from his memories and life; but you wanted miguel to know this second chance was something he deserved, that he deserved to be the father of your child and the man you'd love endlessly for that.
miguel wrapped his arms around you gently as he sobbed into your shoulder, muttering his thanks and promises to be a better man, to be a more loving partner for you and a strong, capable father for your future child together. "i swear... no matter what kind of hell comes our way, i'll be there to save you, both of you. i'm not losing another family again, never... i love you, and our child, so... so much..." he murmured as he kissed your shoulder and rubbed your back, with you reciprocating his embrace as you smiled through the tears. "i love you, too, miguel... and our baby would love you, too..."
and for the first time in a long while... miguel felt like he had something, someones, of his own; someone he would be free to love and care for, and would forever keep by his side. the wounds left in his heart from gabriella's existence would always remain as scars. your child would never replace her, she would always be special to miguel, of course; but your child would be his, his child--your child with him, who he'd love for a lifetime over, and be happiest calling his own.
a/n: I WANNA WRITE MORE OF DOMESTIC MIGGY NOW............ FUCK I NEED THE MULTIVERSE TO GIVE HIM THIS CHANCE

For You, the World
Request: "You and your bias run into your ex." This with Bang Chan please? 🥺🥺
Prompts:
15) You and your bias run into your ex.
Pairing: Stray Kids Bang Chan x Reader
Genre: Angst/Fluff
.
"Baby," Chan hummed, resting his palm on your hip. "Quit fidgeting."
"I can't help it," you grumbled. "I don't want to be here."
"That's not what you said when you bought the tickets," he smiled, pressing his forehead lightly against your temple.
You took a deep breath and allowed his presence to calm you. "I know. When I got the tickets, my intent was to make my enemies rue the day they ever underestimated me."
Chan let out a full laugh as he pulled away from you again. "I thought you said that you wanted to look hot and successful in front of your high school bullies?"
You rolled your eyes. "Same difference."
He was right. You had been excited to buy the tickets to your high school's alumni event. The opportunity to flaunt how well your life was going was too tempting to pass up. Now that you were here though, you just felt queasy and defeated. What if the same people who had made you feel so small were in the position to do so again?
You wouldn't give them that power. You couldn't.
Making your way up toward the fold-out table where you would exchange your tickets for name tags, you shuddered. The previous class president and head cheerleader sat side by side.
Sensing your unease, Chan's hand immediately found yours and gave a tight squeeze.
"Name?"
"Y/N," you croaked, looking anywhere but at the two people sat in front of you.
"Y/N..." the cheerleader cooed, sliding her finger down the iPad in front of her. "Oh my gosh, Y/N!"
Looking down in surprise, you immediately clocked the malicious joy in her smile. "Yeah, hi."
"You look soooo different!" she purred, making a show of looking you up and down. "And look at that, you lost some of that baby fat! Well, I guess it wasn't really baby fat if you still had it at graduation..."
"You lost weight too," you muttered, lifting a brow. "About 160 lbs worth I believe?"
"What?" she gasped, her hand fanning across her collar bone.
"I believe his name was Steve," Chan piped in with a flawless smile.
You looked over with wide eyes.
"I have Instagram, I know things," Chan said so only you could hear.
"Stevie and I are still close," the cheerleader insisted. "We just couldn't make long distance work."
"It was probably hard to make your sidepiece work in the relationship too," you sighed. "Tough break."
She spluttered, looking from you to Chan. "I don't know what you mean."
"Sure, you don't," you nodded. "Can we get our name tags please?"
Glaring, your old classmate thrust a sticker in your direction. "One for you-"
Turning to Chan, she narrowed her eyes, giving her best attempt at being sultry. "And one for...Chris?"
"Thanks," Chan deadpanned, taking the sticker from her extended hand.
"I don't remember you in our class," she said breathily. You could only roll your eyes. She sounded ridiculous.
"I wasn't," Chan said simply, tugging you along.
You couldn't help the zap of victory as you began to walk away. Not only had you owned that entire exchange, but you had your amazing boyfriend by your side, assisting in the shutdown. That couldn't have turned out any better.
"Thank you for coming with me," you said quietly, allowing him to escort you to an open area where old classmates had begun mingling.
"You don't have to thank me," Chan said happily. "I've got you."
Smiling weakly, you prepared yourself for whatever else was to come. Logically, you knew the evening wouldn't be that bad. After all, you did actually have some friends when you were in school. Just because you imagined yourself to be a social pariah at the time didn't mean that was the actual truth.
Settling in at a table toward the back of the room, you were content with people watching for a while. You felt entirely in your element as you gave Chan the backstory of every person that came across your path. Chuckling and gasping at the appropriate times, you knew your gossipy partner was enjoying the evening as much as you were.
"Are you thirsty?" he finally asked after you had finished a particularly long story about the school mascot getting kidnapped by the Latin club.
"If I plan on talking more shit, I could probably use a beverage," you grinned. He smiled in response and nodded. Untwining his fingers from yours, he hopped up from the table and headed in the direction of the bar.
Humming along to the music pumping through the background of the room, you continued to casually watch the people around you. It was surprising to see just how far everyone had come in the few short years since you had all known each other. You had been such a tsunami of emotions as a teen, it was an odd feeling to see these people through a different lens.
While you had mentally prepared to face friends and foes alike, you had not factored in the continued existence of ex boyfriends. Sure, you had social media stalked plenty of people you had dated in the past but having them here in the flesh was another endeavor entirely. It didn't take long for an entire body shiver to overtake you as you locked eyes with someone you would prefer to have never thought about again.
Jun encompassed everything you wanted to forget about high school. If you toted around words like "high school sweethearts" that would have been the apt description for the two of you. While you spent quite a lot of time falling head over heels for him, he had been busy fostering relationships with at least a handful of other people. He made you into a joke and you would never forgive him for that.
But of course, he was making a bee-line in your direction.
"Why is he even here," you muttered. He had supposedly moved to a different country after graduation. With absolutely no social media footprint, you just assumed he wouldn't be easy to contact.
"Y/N," his familiar voice sighed, a few tones deeper than it once was.
"Jun," you acknowledged stiffly.
"Can't I get a hug?" he asked, his arms slightly extended.
For as good looking and smart as he was, he sure couldn't read the room.
"Depends, do you have any communicable diseases I should be made aware of?" you muttered, glaring up at him.
"Come on," he chuckled. "You don't still have hard feelings, do you?"
You blinked in shock. "Hard feelings?"
"We were kids!" he smiled. "Can't we leave the past behind us?"
You opened your mouth to respond, only to close it again.
"I couldn't have been that bad," he prodded, taking a step toward you. You sat in horror as he began to close the space and wrap his arms around your shoulders. Pulling you into a weird, seated hug, he spoke quietly. "I don't remember the specifics of why we broke up, but I do remember how much I cared about you."
Groaning, you pushed at his chest to untangle yourself. "We are not getting into this right now."
Setting a cup down a little too hard on the table, you watched what you assumed to be Coke Zero slosh onto the white tablecloth. "Is he bothering you, Y/N?"
You breathed a sigh of relief at Chan's appearance. He had crept up behind you. Assuming he had heard the bulk of the exchange, he had likely stepped in when he felt it to be the appropriate time.
"No," you ground out. "He was just leaving."
"Jun," your ex said, ignoring your comment and sticking his hand out toward Chan.
Chan grabbed it a little too tightly, causing Jun to wince. "Chris."
"Is this your new guy, Y/N?" June asked, tilting his head. "Thought it would be someone taller."
Chan let out a small scoff of a laugh. "You don't have to be jealous, mate."
"I've gotta have, what, at least 8 inches on you?" he continued, trying to goad Chan.
"I'll give you that. I'm short," Chan sighed, letting his palms rest on your shoulders. "But ugly is kind of a dead end. What do you plan on doing about it?"
"Enough," you groaned, surging to your feet. "Jun, please crawl back into whatever dark hole you have emerged from."
"Aw baby," he grinned. "Don't be like that."
By his simple statement, you were transported back to being a teen, getting gaslit when the word hadn't even been popularized yet.
"I'm not your "baby,"" you choked, frustration dangling you close to tears.
"You didn't say that when we were in the backseat of my Mazda," he continued. "Or did you forget about that? We made so many good memories together, Y/N."
It felt like something foreign had taken over your body as white, hot rage filled your senses. He was not only trying to embarrass you, but make Chan feel uncomfortable as well. How fucking dare he.
Swinging your arm back, you landed a harsh smack across his face.
Turning on your heel, you stomped off in the direction of the exit. At the edge of your hearing, Chan spoke sternly. "Don't you dare even breath in Y/N's direction again. Understood? You'll wish a smack was the least of your worries."
The feeling in your chest didn't let up until you had pushed your way through the door and felt the cold night air hit your burning skin. You didn't realize at what point you had actually began crying, but your cheeks were wet.
"If you want me to go back in there and make him regret ever attending high school with you, tell me now," Chan said, not far behind you.
"Chriiiis," you moaned, turning to face him. "That won't help anything."
"Who says?" he chimed. "You'll feel better, I'll feel better, and he'll feel worse. It's a win-win-win."
You chuckled, wiping at your eyes. "I appreciate the offer, but no."
"Well, just know, it still stands," he sighed. "I wouldn't hesitate to burn down the world if it meant you felt better when I was done."
"Noted and appreciated," you sighed, collapsing into him. "But I think we can keep the matches tucked away for now."
Wrapping his arms around you, Chan rocked you slowly from side to side. "I am so proud of you," he whispered into your hair, tightening his grip around your waist.
"For what?" you sniffed. "I lost my shit."
"There was nothing wrong with your behavior, love," he cooed. "I'm proud of you for being brave in the face of adversity."
"I'd hardly call running into old schoolmates "adversity," Chris," you groaned, tucking your face even further into his chest.
"I would," he said definitively. "And I won't hear any arguments about it."
"Fine," you swallowed, leaning back to look at his face. His eyes were warm as he assessed you. Reaching up, he wiped a wayward tear cascading down your cheek. "Why do all of my emotions have to be directly attached to my tear ducts?"
"Just lucky like that, I guess," he smiled. "How are you feeling?"
"Tired," you croaked. "My social battery is reaching critically low percentages."
"Let's get you a reset then," he nodded. "Couch nest and take out?"
"You know my love language so well," you hummed. "Thanks again for being here tonight."
"For you, the world, Y/N."

You said you wanted one..
Satoru Gojo x Reader
Content~Fluff
From this poll.
You and Satoru have decided to take the next step in your relationship by moving in together. You've been dating for five years now, and after bringing it up so often you decided to shoot the bullet and ask Satoru if he really wanted to find a place to grow and start a family of your own. You were nervous asking him such a question at first but he agreed that you'd been dating so long that you might as well live together. Adding that it would be much easier to sleep in the same bed when you aren't having to travel to each others houses every night. It's been a serene few weeks breaking into the new house and creating new habits. Picking a house that suited both of your requirements was very stressful on you and finally being able to relax knowing all the furniture was in place, was everything that you needed with this move. With everything being in order, you and Satoru were able to spend days at home resting on the couch or in bed. The move has brought you together much closer than you've ever been. It felt like you didn't need anything else from life in this moment. However, Satoru walking past a pet store on his way from work couldn't help himself from getting pulled into the shop. He took his time browsing around all the fish, birds, dogs, and eventually cats that were in the back of the store. There's a range of colors to pick from of small kittens, they have to be at least 3 months old. Instantly Satoru knew that he had to bring one of these kittens home to you. He remembers how you mentioned loving animals and wanting a few of your own one day, which is only temping him to buy one more. A yellowish-orange kitten with a cream colored patch covering half of its face stretches up the glass as far at it can reach, catching Satoru attention. He can't help but let out an audible 'aw' at its actions, smiling brightly at the thoughts in his head. He takes a minute to watch all the kittens play before walking up to the staff to show them which cat he will be taking home.
You got home from working at your office job about an hour ago, deciding to unpack a few of the remaining boxes lying around the house to tidy up a bit. It’s an attempt at trying to keep yourself busy while waiting for Satoru to get home from a "hard" day of teaching, though after a while you notice it seems to be taking a little longer today than normal. It’s not long before you get tired of emptying boxes and opts for putting on a tv show to past the time instead. Half an hour later the click of the front doors lock and the footsteps of Satoru's boots pulls away your attention from the show you put on. "I'm home," He shouts in a sing-song tone. "and I got something for us!" Closing the door behind him and taking his time to take his shoes off. You lunge off the couch and walk through the living room/kitchen to where the main entrance of your newly shared home is.
"Hi baby. Whatchu get?" You try getting on your tippy-toes to look around his frontside. He was attempting to hide something in his jacket but wasn’t doing a very good job as he was revealing the surprise to anyone in front of him. Satoru giggles, doing his best to not just show the cute kitten he's got on his detour to his lover. "Hey!" dragging out the 'y' when he still doesn’t show you what he's hiding. "Show me already Satoru!" You grab onto his sleeve, starting a small tug of war with him and his arm. Finally you pull him to face your direction with all your might, all he says is a quick 'tada' before presenting the small orange kitten to you in his large hands. "Oh my god.." Your jaw drops for a moment. Before you can register what's going on you're grabbing the kitten out of Satoru's hands.
"Be careful!" He jokes.
"I know. Oh my god Toru. I can't believe this! I've literally been wanting an orange cat for so long!" The smile on your face is more than worth it to Satoru.
"The worker said that this was one of their favorite cats in the store and she's such a little cuddle bug." Satoru laughs at the employees words, enjoying the view of the new responsibility. "She was climbing all over me on the walk home. She's a cutie, just like you sweetie."
"Aww. Really? That's so cute!" Your smiling so hard its starting to hurt but your certain your already in love with this kitten Satoru got. "I love her!" Cuddling the kitten up to your face you feel her purring lightly. Satoru feels a rush of heat flow through him as he watches his girlfriend with the small animal. His smile is also starting to hurt his face but he doesn’t care.
"What should we name it?" Satoru grabs your waist and pulls you into him. He has the perfect view of his girl and his kitty.
"It! Satoru!" You pet the kitten comfortingly as if it understood Satoru's comment. He rolls his eyes, giggling at the face you make and taking the chance to pull you closer. "We should name her.. hmm" You look down at the kitten to see if it'll ignite any ideas in your brain. "How about-"
"How about we name it Suguru?" Satoru chuckles.
"Shut up. We aren't naming her Suguru." You roll your eyes which only making Satoru laugh larger. "We need to pick a cute name, not our dead best friends babe." He juts out his bottom lip. He looks so cute that it makes you laugh. Your laugh always makes Satoru's heart do cartwheels, it makes him feel lightheaded knowing that he's the one making you laugh or smile. He drops his head to your shoulder, nuzzling his face into your neck. The kitten puts its small paws on his face, causing another cute laugh from you. "Aww, you look so cute together." He smiles at your comment, bringing one hand up from your waist to pet the kitten. "Let's name her Honey. Because her furs the color of honey, and she's super sweet." There's no response, you only feel Satoru nod and his hair tickling you from in your neck. You're sure you haven't dropped the smile from your face since Satoru walked through the door. Who would have guess he would have gotten you the kitten you've been wanting to get yourself for years. You always put it off due to work, worried that you wouldn't be home enough to actually take care of a kitten. Now with Satoru around it will be much easier to raise an animal. His warm breath against your neck and collar bones is relaxing, and the view of him petting and admiring your new kitten is causing butterflies in your stomach. You let out a satisfied hum as it seems life could never be better than it is now. Finally moving in with your long-term boyfriend, having a beautiful home, a stable job, and now a new pet to top it off. It truly feels like you are starting a family with Satoru after all these years..
Would y'all be interested in a part 2?

a bird in your teeth, epilogue
masterlist
pairing: joel miller x f!reader
warnings: mentions of past trauma, ptsd, nightmares. so much fluff
a/n: a little palate cleanser. sun bleached flies joel is on the naughty step rn
December 24th, (five years later)
God only knows, what I'd be without you...
The TV turned black as the credits rolled, only the warm flickering lights from the Christmas tree left to illuminate the room.
You took a steady breath in through your nose and locked eyes with Sarah, both suppressing a laugh before simultaneously turning to finally face Joel, who had been trying to silently bite back small sobs for the past forty-five minutes.
"How you holding up, boys?" Sarah teased, lovingly.
"You girls are damn evil. Pickin' such an emotional film on Christmas Eve."
"It's heartwarming!" You interjected.
"My heart is feelin' a lot of things right now but warm ain't one of 'em." Tommy murmured, wiping his eyes with the back of his sweatshirt.
"I just can't believe neither of you had ever watched Love Actually."
"May 'swell have, the number of times I've seen you two watchin' it, all damn year round," Joel said.
"Keep talking like that, Miller, and I won't make you an Irish coffee." You warned, earning oooh's from Tommy and Sarah.
You pulled yourself off the sofa and moved to the kitchen, proving your threat entirely empty. As you pottered around the room, collecting all of the ingredients for the drinks, you listened to the noise of the three people you loved most in the world simply existing in the room next to you. The haze of their laughter mixed with the song still warbling through the TV was softened by the wall separating you, a honeyed prayer just for you.
Somehow, life kept moving after that night. Everything thereafter seemed to be measured in the passing of time. Four days for your lip to heal. Three weeks for you to return Daisy's calls. Seven months until you could stop taking the long route to pick Sarah up and drive down that street again. Two years for the panic attacks to stop, for good. Five years, and counting, for an uninterrupted night's sleep.
Two months passed before your tenancy was over, but you had woken beside Joel each morning nonetheless. Sometimes, before the others had risen for the day, you would creep down the stairs and pour yourself a cup of coffee, sit on the porch, and look at that house across the street. You would watch the lights slowly turn on, see the silhouette of life taking shape. A young family had taken over your lease, and it comforted you to know another life was being nurtured within those walls.
Neither you nor Joel had ever discussed what happened that morning in that apartment. And you didn't need to know; you were content with the understanding you both did what you needed to go on. Call it closure.
"What's goin' on in that head of yours, pretty girl?" You felt his chest pressing against your back, his arms leaning on either side of your body, entrapping you against the counter.
His face nuzzled in the curve of your neck, breath tickling your hair against your skin.
"Just wondering if you're on the nice list this year." You turned to face him, staring up through your lashes at the man you love.
"That so? We've got about," he checked his watch, "two hours until midnight. M'sure I can do enough to make it on each of your nice lists for the next twenty years."
"You're planning on keeping me around for that long? Maybe I'll have a love affair with a real cowboy." You teased.
"Good luck gettin' him to watch a Hugh Grant film with ya."
You rested your hands on his face, using your thumb to trace his cheek lightly.
"How did I get so lucky?" You smiled, shaking your head softly in disbelief.
There had always been a surplus of love inside you, even when you were little. Throughout your life, you had poured it into the wrong people, time and time again. Belittled, taken for granted, chastised. Even though the love remained, you had grown to fear it. It would be like riding an escalator and instinctively grabbing the handrail, but being zapped by an electric shock. Each time thereafter, your hand would hesitate in reaching for the supportive grip. Sometimes it would tentatively hover above, trying to gage the sting of electricity a few millimetres away.
But loving Joel came so easy. Everything about him made you want to tear yourself open and offer him everything you had, everything you ever had been, and all you ever would be. You would wake in the night simply craving the feeling of his skin against yours. And every single time you reached out to him, even in his sleep, he would pull you in.
From the other room, an old Christmas song hummed through the walls.
Merry Christmas, baby / Sure did treat me nice...
"I should be the one askin' that question, darlin'." His right hand flexed in and out of a tight fist, the same way it did when he felt a bout of anxiety rise in his chest.
"Are you okay, sweetheart?" You asked, concern digging itself into the furrow of your brows.
"I'm no good at this, you know that."
"No good at what, Joel?"
He pulled away from you slightly, lowering himself onto one knee, suppressing the groan you knew he desperately wanted to release at the tightness of his back and knees.
"My sweet girl, I will never understand why y'picked me. Out of all the men in this damn world, even Hugh Grant, I get to be the one who calls you mine."
"Joel..."
"I don't know much, but I know that I need t'spend the rest of my life by your side. And I need you by mine. Would you do me the honour of being my wife?"
"Oh my god, yes! Of course, I will, Joel."
Joel slipped the ring he had presented from a small box in his back pocket onto your finger. His smile showed off the creases by his eyes that you often wished you could dive into and engulf yourself in each feeling that caused them to deepen.
"Get up, you idiot. Your poor back. I don't want to be pushing you around in a wheelchair just yet." You laughed into his kiss, your bodies merging together like it was all they had ever been made to do.
"Can we come in yet?" Sarah called from around the corner.
"Yes! Come in, both of you." You replied, cheeks wet and aching from the smile etched into your face.
"No chance of those Irish coffees, I guess?" Tommy smirked, you softly clipped him round the back of the head before suffocating him into a hug. "Welcome to the family, Mrs Miller."
Merry Christmas, honey / Everything here is beautiful, I love you, baby / For everything that you give me.

HQ!! Boys with a poet S/O
hey hey hey guess who's back with a super self indulgent piece of shit fic (i am joking, this is my humour)
also let's just say the reader does not write about cute lightearted things (but if you'd like to see a version where the reader writes cute stuff lmk!!)
so, yk TW for implied mental turmoil and an overall angsty hurt/comfort mood for these
Characters featured: Oikawa, Akaashi, Kageyama, Bokuto, Iwa chan
OIKAWA honestly wouldn't believe that those poems were written by you at first. When you excitedly gave him some of your poems to read, he thought they would be cutesy love poems dedicated to him and only him, not this. "What...? Are they bad?" You seemed worried at his wide-eyed expression. "Baby, are you ...okay?" He asked out of the blue, the genuine worry in his tone knocking the wind out of you. "Hahaha, it feels so weird hearing you say that...!" You tried your best to not let any more laughter escape you. "What?! Am I not allowed to be a good boyfriend now?!" He was offended by your reaction, slightly clutching the poems in his hands. "No, it's just... unusual to see you this concerned about me." You said with a half-smile. You had gotten so used to Oikawa's light-hearted flirty attitude, that you sort of forgot just what kind of person he is. "Just what do you think of me?" He sighed, suddenly pulling you in for a hug. "You know you can tell me anything, right?" All you did was nod, feeling relieved that he understands.
AKAASHI 's eyes would widen gradually as he read the contents of your poem. You gave him 5, but he already feels horrible, and he's only on the first one. He almost doesn't want to believe you wrote this. He becomes worried about you, doing a deep analysis on your poem since he wants to understand every part before approaching you with his worries. The next day when you greet him happily, he simply hugs you. "I'm sorry for not noticing..." is all he says, and though it takes you a bit to understand what he means, you feel overwhelmingly relieved he isn't judging you for what happened. "It's okay, I didn't tell you, you couldn't have known..." you assured him, knowing your boyfriend's tendency to overthink, he would beat himself up if you said nothing. "Next time, please please tell me about things like this. I can't stand the thought of you suffering alone." He squeezed you tighter.
KAGEYAMA is confused. Reading and understanding poems was never his strong suit, but yours are especially confusing to him. You laughed a little at his concentration face, and he handed you your poem back, still confused. "What does this even mean...?" He asked, eyebrows furrowed. "Ahaha, don't worry about it too much... I wrote it like that on purpose." You made your poem vague and messy on purpouse, something you knew Kageyama probably couldn't understand properly. Awkward silence filled the room, and Kageyama silently hugged you all of a sudden. "I don't get why, but I got the random urge to hug you just now..." he mumbled silently, squeezing you in his grip. He must have noticed the sadness behind your voice and just doesn't know how to properly comfort you. "You said that out loud, Tobio." You smiled. "Shit..."
BOKUTO 's smile drops suddenly as he reads your poem. When he found you writing it, he insisted that he must read it no matter what. But what in the world was this? Why were you writing about all this sad stuff? "Babe...." his hands trembled slightly as he looked at you while you were smiling as you usually do. "Why would you say that about yourself?" He was very very saddened right now, and you weren't sure who's going to end up comforting who. You felt your bones being crushed in his impulsive hug. "It isn't true!! You're literally the best person I know!! So don't you dare say that again!!" He put his forearm over his eyes, tears stinging at his eyes. He has to be strong for you, he can't cry now. "Kou-" "I've decided! From today on, you're getting complimented every day!! No excuses!!" He looked very determined.
IWAIZUMI understood the content of your poems very well. And it angered him. Why didn't you tell him this happened?! "Idiot." He let the word escape his lips, clutching the paper in his hands. "You should have told me. I would have protected you." He looked to you. You weren't scared since you knew that your boyfriend was genuinely concerned right now, and that was just his way of expressing it. "Dammit, why do you always insist on keeping your problems to yourself..." he pulled you to his side, looking ahead. "I'll tell you next time..." you looked down to the ground. "You better. Or I'll beat you up." He huffed, but you saw the relief flashing in his eyes. He didn't really show it, but somehow, you could tell his heart sank when he read it.
I'm okay :)

Kalim Al Asim - ''Just Who Are You Beautiful Stranger?''

In which a certain Scarabia Dorm prefect falls in love with a stranger at one of his parties. Or; In which Kalim Al Asim is entranced by the elusive student, [Name] [Surname], and writes them a letter.
🪲•♡•🪲•♡•🪲•♡•🪲•♡•🪲•♡•🪲•♡•🪲•♡•🪲
Beautiful Stranger,
I think it was the way you moved around the crowd of people at that time. How your hips swayed and your head bobbed to the music bouncing around the walls.
Who are you?
A beautiful stranger moving your body to the beat of drums echoing in my ears. I wanted to speak to you... but... I just couldn't bring myself to interrupt you; especially when you were dancing like that. Like nobody was watching you.
You were so radiant, Beautiful stranger.
The way you moved— the way you smiled— I... my heart was beating harder than it had ever beaten before. Like a thousand drums being pounded on all at the same time. Like an earthquake tearing across a mountain range— Do earthquakes happen near mountains? They do, right?
My hands were super sweaty, my face was burning hot –kinda like the weather back home– and it felt a little bit like I could barely breathe. I thought I was sick for the longest time until I asked Jamil about it.
He said I could be in love, so... I guess I'm maybe in love with you now.
But then comes the problem I've found myself with. I don't even know your name. I don't know your year. I don't even know your dorm. How in the world will I find you without such important information?
That's what I thought at first. I was worried we'd never meet again, or really, I'd never be able to lay my eyes on you again. But I believe in fate. And I believe that even though I only saw you once and for such a short time, you are my soulmate, a Beautiful Stranger.
So now, I'll put a plan of mine into motion. I'll host another party; this one is even more amazing than the last one you attended. Hopefully, you'll be there.
When I see you again, I'll give you this letter of mine.
Well, I have a question to ask you. It's kind of important. You don't need to answer it right away; take as much time as you need.
Would you let me explore these feelings with you?
From,
Kalim Al Asim

Confessions
♥Pairing╰┈➤ Levi Ackerman x Reader
♥Content/Warnings╰┈➤ Really it's just fluff, maybe a little bit of hurt/comfort?? Fuck if I know
♥Word Count╰┈➤ 1.6k
♥Author's Note╰┈➤ First of all, the divider I'm using is from @cafekitsune and they have plenty of other really cute ones! And also this is literally the first thing I've written in like,,,,,,, six years?? I'm not sure and I can't Remember. If it sucks tell me and I'll leave it up because I simply do not care. Thank u one and all who actually read it!
“So,” Hange began, their tone light as they dragged you into their office. “Want to tell me what’s on your mind?”
You shrunk backwards a bit, lowering your gaze to the (disgusting) floor. “I’m not sure what you’re talking about.” Hange wasn’t dumb, you knew that. They were far from it. So why was blatantly lying your go-to response? It didn’t help that Hange was clearly trying to hold in a laugh at your response.
They placed a hand on your shoulder. It was meant to be comforting but it made you feel nothing but dread. Your name fell from their lips. “I know you. I know when your mind is elsewhere. You fell flat on your ass during training today, so just tell me what’s wrong.” Seeing Hange so strangely serious was remarkably nerve wracking.
A moment of silence passed between you. You felt like a complete mess; a complete jumble of incomplete thoughts shrouding your head. Would telling the truth even help? Hange was your best friend, so surely they’d give you sound advice… right? You sighed, deep and heavy, before lifting your eyes to theirs. “If I’m being honest…” you took a breath, “I’m not sure what’s wrong.”
Hange tilted their head to the side. Glasses gleaming under the dull light of their office, they moved a bit closer to you. “You’re not sure? Then what were you being so cagey about?”
“I wasn’t being cagey.”
They cackled. How annoying. “You were and you know it,” they said. “Elaborate on whatever you’re not sure about.”
You sighed again before turning around to face the door. Grime coated the surface. When was the last time Hange cleaned it? “Lately, I’ve been feeling sort of… shy?” It shouldn’t have been a question, but it was nonetheless. The word you truly wanted to use eluded you. Honestly, you almost felt sick.
“You’ve been feeling shy?” Hange repeated. You nodded once and a snort came from behind you. “Shy about what? How badass you are all the time?” You whirled around and slapped them on the shoulder. They grinned and rubbed at their arm. “What?”
“You’re so annoying!” you groaned out, dragging a hand down your face. “I’m trying to open up here and you make a joke out of it?” Hange nodded. Another sigh came out before you could stop it.
Hange laughed again and put their hands on their hips. “Seriously, what do you have to be shy about? The only people you’re actively around is me, Erwin and Le…” they trailed off and suddenly your face felt warm. Their mouth dropped open and they descended upon you, gripping the life out of your shoulders. “Is it finally happening?”
“What?” you asked. “Is what finally happening?”
“Are you finally realizing you like Levi?!”
If you thought you felt warm before, now it felt like you were being burned alive. “Hange!” you scolded, voice probably a little too loud. “Absolutely not! You know how he is! And why are you saying ‘finally’?” You could hardly believe them! Why would they even think that, much less say it?
They pulled you into their chest, roughly patting the back of your head. “Oh, sweetie, how can you still not see it?” Despite practically whispering, it was loud and clear in your ears. Fear rolled down your spine. “You guys always sit together for meals, you’re always in his office helping with paperwork, the two of you actively seek each other out throughout the day, you even learned how to clean to his standards even though you hate cleaning. You still don’t realize your own feelings for him?”
Every word was like a bucket of freezing cold water hitting you. Was Hange right? No, they couldn’t be. Though… they weren’t necessarily wrong. But so what if you and Levi were friends? You were friends with Hange and Erwin, with the kids from the 104th. Hell, you were practically friends with everyone. So why did Hange seem to make so much damn sense right now?
Slowly, you put your forehead to their shoulder. Your chest grew tighter and tighter with every passing second until a tear dribbled downwards. “Hange…” you whispered. “What am I supposed to do?”
They let out a soft sigh before pulling away. Your head stayed down and you watched as tears hit the floorboards. “You tell him.” You shot up, neck cracking at the motion. “Don’t look so shocked. What else is there to do?”
“I don’t know! Cry, wallow in my own self pity, maybe?” you shrieked, Hange grinned. “Anything but that! He’d call me an idiot then either pretend it never happened or just not speak to me again.”
“Hah!” Hange’s outburst startled you, making you jump a bit. “Like Levi would ever do that. Though, I really do think you’re an idiot!” They began to cackle again. Why were you friends with someone who found so much joy in your misery?
Before you could begin to say anything, a knock jostled the two of you into silence. A beat passed before Hange asked who was there. The last voice you ever wanted to hear in that moment responded, already sounding pissed off. “Levi,” he said.
You dropped your face into your hands as Hange bounded to the door. They practically ripped the door off their hinges in their excitement to let Levi into the embarrassing conversation you were having. “Levi!” they exclaimed, hopping from foot to foot. “Fancy seeing you here, what can I help you with?”
“You told me to stop by when I had the chance. Want me to clean your disgusting fucking room again?” he asked before peering inside. He noticed you, head still in your hands, before his expression softened. He called your name and shoved past Hange, whose smile was so wide it beat a titan’s. “Are you okay? What did this freak do to you?” Levi put his hands on your shoulders and spun you around to face him. You obliged and let your hands fall to your sides.
“Levi, hi.” You couldn’t think of anything more to say. Seeing him was a shock and while you weren’t surprised to hear that Hange had told him to come, you were still confused nonetheless.
He glanced across your face then turned back to Hange. “Were they crying?” he asked. You weren’t sure how Hange didn’t cower away from him; you definitely would’ve. His voice was filled with venom. Your friend merely nodded before slinking out of the door.
Levi watched them go and waited until the door was shut before turning back to you. “Are you okay?” It took you a second to answer before giving him a simple nod. “What happened?”
You looked away from him. “Hange was just… being Hange.” Levi clearly didn’t believe that was it, because he clicked his tongue in a remarkably disapproving way. “I’m serious.”
“Yeah? Then what were they being so ‘Hange’ about?” As soon as the words left his lips you felt your head begin to ache. Maybe Hange was right. Maybe telling him wasn’t as difficult as you were making it seem. Maybe, just maybe, he’d reciprocate. Or you’d let it slip and he really wouldn’t ever talk to you again. The longer you stayed silent, though, the more irritated Levi seemed to get. “Well?”
So you decided to not overthink it. “They were telling me that I obviously have feelings for you,” you said. “I didn’t agree with it at first but the more I thought about it, the more I realized they were right! I mean, I absolutely hate cleaning! But I do it all the time because I know how you are and I’m always on everyone else’s ass to keep things neat and orderly. You deserve to be happy and if something as stupid as shit being to your standards can make you happy then I’ll make sure it’s done. And I love sitting next to you, and I love when you kick my ass when we spar but I love it even more when we’re on our own and you pretend to let me win. And I know I”m, like, rambling at this point but the more I talk the more I realize I’m completely in love with you, Levi.”
Quickly, you clamped your hands over your mouth. You were totally, totally in love with him. And you just said it, like a fucking idiot. Levi stayed silent, eyes wide. The quiet was deafening and you vaguely heard laughter just beyond the door.
Finally Levi seemed to come out of his stupor. “What did you just say?” he muttered. You cringed.
“Are you really going to make me say it again?” Levi nodded and you let out a sigh. “Levi, I’m in love with you.”
Uncharacteristically, he smiled. It was barely there and maybe nobody else would’ve been able to tell, but you could. At that moment, he looked so beautiful and soft. His grip on your shoulders tightened before his smile grew just a bit more. And, before you could stop yourself, you pressed your lips to his. The kiss was soft and tender, and your stomach felt like it was about to fall out. You smiled into it, your teeth hitting his for just a moment. Slowly, your hands reached up to tangle in his hair. You tugged at the short strands before pulling away. Levi put his forehead against yours before letting out a content sigh.
He pressed a kiss to your head. “I’m in love with you, too.”

Wander
Eddie Munson x female reader
Word Count: 726
Just a short blurb based on the fact that I am the friend that wanders off and I was a leash child of my own choice. (which explains a lot)
Warning: drinking, wandering off
Masterlist
"Where the fuck is she?" Panic filled Eddie's voice as he looked around the bar frantically.
"What?" Asked Steve who had just finished off his fourth drink of the evening.
"My girlfriend. You know the girl that was literally right beside us ten seconds ago." Eddie waited his hands in the empty space between them.
"Oh yeah... I don't know."
"You're useless when you're like this you know?" Eddie shook his head and backed away from the table. Pushing his way through the inebriated crowd, he kept his eyes wide and searched for any glimpse of you.
You weren't on the dance floor and you weren't at the bar. Eddie searched and searched, coming up empty-handed, even after searching both unisex bathrooms. You weren't in the building at all and he was freaking out.
"I fucking take my eyes off her for one second and she wanders off. Jesus Christ." Eddie pulled his hair at the scalp, frustration coming through.
You on the other hand were contently swinging your feet under you as you sat on the high bench just outside the bar. To your right, a stray fluffy dog who placed his head next to your bare legs looking to be pet. You obliged, scratching the top of his head and behind his ears, earning some open-mouthed pants.
"Such a good puppy aren't you?" You cooed at the dog who have a soft bark, almost like he was answering you.
The night air was cool on your skin, a lot of it being exposed by the dress you had chosen to wear on this special night of celebrating your friend finally landing his, what Robin called, "big boy job".
Even though it was cold, it felt better than the sweltering heat inside the bar. And the new fluffy friend made up for the chill as well.
You had been setting outside for a good twenty minutes before the door slammed open and heavily booted feet crunched on the gravel towards you.
"Holy hell, Sweetheart, what the fuck were you thinking? I've been looking for you all over." Eddie's worried voice cut through the night.
You tore your gaze away from the dog to look up at your boyfriend. Smiling you said, "Sorry Eds, just got a little hot s'all." You're words were slurring together thanks to the shots Steve had ordered earlier.
"Baby, you can't just leave without telling me. You had me worried to death."
You furrowed your brow in confusion. "I did tell someone, I told Steve."
Eddie shook his head, hand coming to rub down his face with a sigh. "Honey, Steve is drunk, he can't remember what he had for lunch, much less almost half an hour ago. Next time you tell me." He got down on one knee in front of you, one hand coming up to your cheek. "Especially when I'm the only one in the group who's sober."
The dog beside you wagged his tail in excitement at the new person, pushing his head into Eddie's chest. He got what he wanted as Eddie began absent-mindedly petting him with his other hand.
Even though you were drunk you didn't miss the mischievous look Eddie got. Then he turned his eyes toward you and you asked, "What?"
"Just thinking."
"About?"
"Well if you don't stop running from me when you get even the slightest bit tipsy in public, I think we're gonna have to get you a leash."
You gasped. "Eddie no."
"Oh, why not princess?"
"Because leashes are for dogs," you give an exaggerated point to the dog beside you, "and small children who can't be trusted."
"Yeah and who can't be trusted when they've invested alcohol? Hum? You." Eddie's matter-of-fact tone made you huff knowing he was right but you argued anyway.
"I can be trusted."
Eddie raised his eyebrow.
"I mean it."
"Yeah right, Sweetheart. I'll believe it when I see it. But for now, I think you might need one so I can keep my eye on you."
"Well, I think this is some sick fantasy of yours." You giggled when the dog began to lick at your hand to get you to pet him again.
"Oh, you know it, baby." Eddie laughed along. "Now come on, we need to get you and especially Steve home before I end up babysitting you both all night."

Plot summary
Price yells at you for your childish habits. He didn't mean to, just snapped at y/n. He regretted it immediately.
❀•°•═════ஓ๑♡๑ஓ═════•°•❀
You weren’t allowed to like “childish” things as a kid. So you did those things now, as an adult. You enjoyed your coloring, your stuffie collecting, all of it. Though you didn't really realize this was regression behavior. You didn't even know what age regression was. When you did regress, you never remembered. It was always involuntary and left a memory gap during the time you were regressed. Lucky for you, your Captain knew what regression was by now.
A small argument about something so minimal led to this. It originally was because you had moved some documents he needed to a different table in his office while helping him with some paperwork. He couldn't find them, so stressed and frustrated from work he accidentally took it out on you. You both has been arguing for almost an hour straight, despite the paperwork having been found.
" GOD DO YOU EVER JUST STOP BEING SO FUCKING IMMATURE? GROW. UP, " Price shouted at you without even thinking.
As soon as the words left John’s mouth he realized he messed up. He hadn't even meant it. His heart sank the second he had realized what he said. His mouth open and closed like a fish while he struggled to quickly scramble out the words to make it better. He knew he needed to do it fast too.
Unfortunately it was far too late. The words sank in like a blade shoved into your stomach. They burned and hurt, more so from someone who mattered so much to you. You fell quiet while your hands, having been holding some papers in an effort to help Price find more of what he needed, gently quit moving. Your heart raced as the words continued to do their damage with each passing second.
There was nothing wrong with being childish, right?
...right?
You swallowed thickly. Your eyes slowly looked to the desk as he gently set the papers down onto the surface. You made sure they didn't make a mess, however.
" I think... I'll just go to my room, " you whispered softly while your throat began to feel tight. " Sorry I couldn't be of help after all, " you added quietly.
You could see the pain in John's eyes as he realized what he had just done. He had let his anger get the better of him and had not only hurt your feelings, but had insulted your interests and regressed behavior. After the realization settled, he looked completely devastated.
" Wait... Wait! " he called out to you, " Y/N, I-. "
He didn't have the right words. He couldn't find the right words no matter how much he forced it. Price felt awful. He couldn't believe he had said it, truly didn't mean it either.
You did wait after being called. You waited after hearing his name, but after Price said nothing after for a few minutes, you made your way out of Price's office. Soon, making your way to your room in the barracks.
John watched the door shut, so soft and gentle that made the weight of what he had done even heavier than before.
" Well that's it. I've ruined this friendship. What kind of idiot does something like that? I am such an ass. "
Price groaned and dropped his head into his hands. He knew he had to apologize, but he had no idea how to even begin to make this right. He let out a long sigh and flopped down in his chair. He stayed that way for some time, just berating himself.
Once there, you couldn't even describe how upset you felt. You knew there was something wrong with you, something not normal. You didn't really know what it was, but you knew it was there. You shoved the stuffies you had into a pile by the trash as a frustrated yell escaped you. You didn't care if you were being too loud. Besides, it was late enough in the morning that everyone was awake.
Soon the anger, more hurt than anything, took over. You knocked over your desk and threw things around. Nothing broke, but the room was destroyed. Suddenly this fit came to a stop as you came across your oldest stuffie, really the only thing you had left of your childhood. You didn't have any little gear, not a single thing, but this stuffie meant more to you than any of your other ones. You hugged it and crawled into your bed, unintentionally crying yourself to sleep.
***
As Price thought about it, he finally decided to try to make things right. He got up and headed for your room. Every step was heavy, weighing down his body so much he almost tripped up the stairs. After a few minutes he reached your room faster than he had thought he would. He took in a deep breath slowly, held it for three seconds, then released it for three seconds. He repeated this action until his emotions calmed enough. He gave a short knock, before trying the knob. Much to Price's surprise, the door was unlocked.
He poked his head in the door. " Y/N I need to- " He stopped mid-sentence, seeing the sight in front of him was heart breaking. He had caused this. He had never felt so ashamed in his life.
John was speechless. But after some time he managed to croak out the words, " Y/N please let me explain. "
Hearing his voice, you began to stir. You were so tired from crying and having such an outburst. It had felt nice though getting to vent all that out.
As Price watched you stir, his heart sank. His face contorted into a look of pure heartache. He could see how childish you slept. How he had caused this. You didn't even know how to properly manage your little space. It made him want to scoop you up and take care of you forever.
After watching you stir for a few moments, he cleared his throat, and spoke in a hushed tone, " I know how I acted was awful. I am so sorry. "
He still had no solution to your problem, but the first step was admitting his mistake. He would do anything to make it up to you.
Slowly, when awake enough, you sat up and rubbed at your eyes in a childish manner. A whine escaped you from having been disturbed.
You winced at how much your head hurt. Your face was softly flushed from how much you had been crying. Your fingers still held onto the worn plush, refusing to let it go. You rubbed at your eyes more. You didn't really reply, but it had become painfully clear you had woken up little.
John had to remind himself that you were still little. You weren't doing this on purpose. You weren't acting as a child because you were. It was just how you were when you were tired.
He looked at your tired face, and his heart hurt even more. This was because of him.
He decided to try to just talk to you like you were a child.
" Can you understand me? " he asked gently.
In reply, you gave a small nod. It did not do any favor for how much your head hurt. You carefully pull your legs to your chest, squishing the stuffies between your thighs and chest. You hadn't fallen asleep with the blanket on you, your bed was the only thing that wasn't trashed.
Price felt a mixture of guilt and relief wash over him. He could see the signs of your regression. It wasn't the first time he has seen you like this. At least you had confirmed you weren't regressed in a headspace where you couldn't understand him. He wanted to ask you about who the plush was but this wasn't the right time.
" It is good you understand me. Can you please help Daddy Price do something? " he asked in a sing-song tone as a playful smile made it's way onto his lips.
You were hesitant. Though while little you didn't usually remember much from being big, you had such a gut feeling that screamed not to trust him. The feeling urged you that you were upset with him for some reason, just couldn't remember why or how. Hearing the title you perked up instantly. You gave a small nod while hugging the worn plushie to your chest.
He smiled at your reaction. He could tell that you trusted him. Even though he had hurt you, you still trusted him so much. It made him want to cry. He couldn't believe he messed up so badly.
" Can you help me fix all of this? " he said sweeping his arm to include the mess of your bedroom.
Price wanted to clean everything up for you. He didn't have to ask why the room was like this; he knew this was all due to him. You looked around at the gesture, but nodded. Your room was a mess. There was no denying that. You also knew, even regressed, it wasn't supposed to be or you'd get in trouble. You carefully got out of the bed, almost tripping from how your legs were tangeled in the blanket.
John winced as he watched you almost fall. He could see how difficult it was for you to navigate your room. Then again, it was totally trashed.
" Here, let me help you out of this blanket, " he whispered, gently taking your hand, and helping your untangle that from your legs. He let go of your hand, but made sure to stand by you to make sure you were able to walk around your room safely.
You let out a little giggle as you watched Price help you out of the blanket. Your gut feeling still reminded you to be upset with John, as much as you didn't want to be. So you stopped giggling and pouted again. You gently set the stuffie on the bed while you started doing your best putting your room together, though your motor skills had clearly decreased. You had a hard time doing so.
John felt his heart wrench as he watched you struggle. He had to step in after a moment, and assist you in organizing your room.
" Daddy will take care of the big stuff like sorting the blankets. "
He was trying hard to be gentle with you, like he would be with a child. Your motor skills were clearly that of a little. The way he called himself daddy only made you feel smaller to. It never failed to make you happy, help you feel safe even. Price gently picked up the bedding and tucked it to be tighter. He gently set the stuffie you had set down more in the center by your pillows. After, he got distracted with picking up your desk and more harmful items, like your favorite gun and your knives.
You gave a small smile and sniffle at the words. You nodded and moved to put your stuffies away, removing them from the trash and putting them on your desk where you usually kept them. Your little mind wondered why they had been there. It was mean and unfair. They didn't deserve to be there. During your efforts, you ended up getting distracted with playing with them and hugging them. You had completely forgotten about the task at hand.
John paused what he was doing. He just couldn't help but smile when he saw how cute you were. That was when reality hit him. You hadn't regressed on purpose. He had forced it on you. Your regression was caused by his big mistake. He watched you as you babbled quietly to yourself while you played. You gave each stuffie, big or small, a big hug to apologize to them.
He felt the need to hold you. To protect you. To take care of this little baby. He dropped to a crouch next to you, and gave you a huge hug. Price's eyes filled with tears that threatened to fall, but didn't. He really didn't mean to hurt you and struggled voicing so to the point it was becoming frustrating for him.
You had stopped when Price had hugged you. You flinched slightly, but quickly hugged you back after. Even though the gut feeling kept pulling at you to urge you to keep being upset with him, you ended up ignoring it for the comfort he brought you. He rubbed your back as you pressed your face into his chest. He held you gently, but firmly.
After a moment he spoke, but his voice was extremely gentle, " Y/N, I need you to do me a favor. "
The words confused you. But you pulled away and gave a small nod, soon finding yourself chewing on your fingers in an attempt of an unconscious self comfort. You weren't really sure why you felt that you needed comfort, but you knew you did from how much your chest ached.
" Y/M, can you tell me the truth?" he asked, as he took your hands to prevent you from chewing your fingers too hard. He didn't want you more hurt than you were on his watch.
" How did I make you feel earlier? "
" 'm hurt, " you mumbled, slurring your words as you spoke. You felt wo little. You looked to Price's hands that held your. You let out a small sniffle while you got distracted again, just with playing with Price's hands.
He didn't need to ask you what you meant. You were hurt by him. Not only were you hurt, but you were regressed due to his mistake. John felt both heartbreak and shame as he knew what he had done.
" I am so sorry! I promise to never, ever hurt you like that again! " he quickly apologized to little you.
He let out a sigh of heartache and pulled you close again. He hugged and kissed your head. He wanted to protect you from his big mistake.
" I am truly, truly sorry, " he whispered weakly.
You let out a small giggle as Price hugged you and kissed your head. You wrapped your arms around your neck and cuddled into you, more out of habit than anything. You let out small babbles while you leaned against Price. As you leaned into him, John's heart ached even more from your regressed state. You had been forced into a vulnerable, childlike state due to his mistake. It was heartbreaking.
He held you close, as tears started to form in his own eyes. He couldn't believe he had hurt you like this.
" I am so so sorry, I messed up badly Y/N. "
" is oka dada, " you mumbled while you rubbed your cheek against him to comfort him. You didn't want your daddy to cry. If he did, you would.
A smile tried to form on John's face. He appreciated your small words of forgiveness. At the very least, he felt he was somewhat in the right direction. He continued to hold you tightly, and even let you lay your head on his body. You were so small, and so sweet.
He wanted to keep you safe. To protect you.
He felt like if he ever let go you would leave him.
You cuddled into Price for a little bit longer before letting go. You tried picking up your stuffies again and putting them away. Though, your little brain kept getting distracted cuddling them or playing with them. You just couldn't focus on the big task of cleaning. You were too little. Price watched in amusement, but with a hint of annoyance as you struggled to pick up the stuffies.
" Hey. Hey look at daddy. Are you having fun playing with those? Could you play them over there?" He motioned to another chair in the room. The chair went to your desk.
He knew you were regressed and acting like a child. He just wanted to divert you from the big, grown up chore of putting your stuffies away. He wanted you to stay in the headspace that would help you.
You whined softly in complaint. You liked sitting on the floor playing- but your room was a disaster. There wasn't really anywhere on the floor for you to play. You hugged the plush that was in your arms currently tighter. You wanted to keep playing too, you couldn't play while sitting in a chair.
He noticed the frustration you held. He realized your small, toddler like brain couldn't manage picking up your room at the moment. He couldn't fault you for that. After all, it wasn't like a regressed child could do that.
" You know what, let's take a break. " he chuckled softly to you. Price lifted you into his arms, and held you close to him as one would hold a real young child. As you were picked up, the plush you had been holding fell back onto the floor with the rest you hadn't put away yet.
You let out small giggles as John picked you up too. A small smile plastering on your face while you wrapped your arms around his neck. Your fingers held tightly onto his clothing while he adjusted you in his arms. Soon, you were both comfortable. You whined in complaint though, one of your hands reaching for the stuffies on the floor while the other held his clothing.
" Shhh, I know baby, " Price whispered softly as he gently patted your bum. " Let's play latter though, alright? Daddy promises, " he offered.
This trade won you over. You leaned into his chest, pressing your cheek against his chest with a small huff. Your hand now loosely held a part of John's shirt on his chest, the other still hooked around his neck.
" Let daddy carry you around for a while. " He whispered lovingly as he kissed your forehead.
He began to walk around, just trying to help calm you down and distract you. He still felt intense shame for what he had done to you. He had caused you to regress, and now you were all upset because of that. He felt awful. It didn't really help that, even though he apologized, he knew you wouldn't remember when you weren't regressed any more.
You cuddled into Price's chest as he carried you around the small room. You babbled quietly to yourself, feeling peaceful and really enjoying being held. You began to suck your thumb after a little bit. You were feeling sleepy again. Your head didn't hurt as much, but your eyes felt heavy. Unintentionally though, you did fall asleep after a little while. John did realized you had dozed off about twenty minutes after you had. He was actually surprised you had done so so soon. He couldn't help, but smile as he felt your small body fall asleep in his arms.
It was a bit awkward to do, but he had to carefully lay you down onto your bed. You let out a small whimper as you were placed down, but didn't wake. You kept sucking on your thumb to sooth yourself. Thankfully, you weren't heavy at all to him, so it wasn't an issue to get you comfy. All of this was being done while your stuffies still sat on a mix of your desk and the floor. They had not been put away like initially planned but at least they aren't in the trash anymore.
Price covered you with the blanket before kissing your forehead gently. He smiled to himself as he watched you sleep for a few minutes. Your breathing softened as you fell into a deeper sleep. He just hoped you would forgive him when you weren't little any more.
" Love you kid, " he whispered softly as to not wake you.

Painland - Edwin Paine x Charles Rowland
Small spin on the confession scene with a little more angst but happy end :)
Pushed out rlly fast because I've been sleep deprived for days straight! Not proofread lol
WARNINGS/ CONTENT INFO; Angst with sweet ending, fav silly boys, nothing much really
Edwin doesn’t mind. He really doesn’t. Why should he, Charles is only his best friend, after all. He isn’t jealous. He isn’t.
He shouldn’t be, at least. He shouldn't be feeling like Crystal is stealing Charles from him, like his best friend will leave him. He isn't allowed to feel that. Because Charles is only his friend, and Crystal is a girl. That's how the world works.
Edwin doesn’t like this feeling. He hates it, actually. He hates having to realise that he isn’t normal. He hates knowing he will never be. He doesn’t want to think that his father would’ve disowned him for his feelings, not that he’d ever told him about it, until recently, he didn’t even know it was possible to feel like this - much less that it was accepted by now. He was thankful Niko had shown him, definitely, but at the same time he couldn’t help but curse himself for believing that meant he could actually manage to have the courage to speak to Charles about it. He didn’t, swore he never would, Edwin was too scared of the possibility that Charles would react to it the way Edwins father always did - ignore it, call it unnatural, and pretend it didn’t exist. Nothing would ever bring Edwin to talk about his feelings - he’s never done it before. He won’t start now. Not even when Niko told him that attraction between boys is normal. Not even when he realises that whenever he looks at Charles, he gets that little giddy feeling in his stomach (he isn’t even sure if it’s an actual feeling or rather a psychological thing - he’d have to look into it). Not even when Charles rescues him from hell, definitely not then – the words tumble out before he can stop them.
“I love you.”
He shouldn’t have said them. He knew he shouldn’t have. Simply by the way Charles turned around for a glance, before dragging him up the few remaining steps - Edwins legs hurt from all the running, Hell worked differently when it came to feeling things, but he also wondered if it were only his legs that hurt. He could only keep it together because the way Charles squeezed his hand as he pulled him along made him have the slightest sliver of hope about the feelings the other might have. Deep down, he knew it was stupid. It's really stupid.
It only gets worse when Charles doesn’t talk to him afterwards - Edwin blames it on the fact that the whole ordeal was so hectic, with Niko immediately hugging them, the Night Nurse still being there, the whole situation of them maybe having to go to the afterlife after all… It was a lot, Edwin has to admit. It doesn’t help that afterwards, Charles joins Crystal in her room, and Edwin is convinced he just messed up the only friendship he’s ever had. He just lost his best friend because he couldn’t keep his mouth shut.
It was the first time Edwin didn't stay in Nikos' room for the night, like he usually would. He'd spend the night reading, sometimes her books, sometimes his own, succumbing to the weird relaxation that the presence of a sleeping person somehow brought to him. In a way, it almost made him sleepy himself, though it was impossible for him to sleep.
Tonight, he stepped up onto the building's roof. If he wasn't dead, he'd feel the coldness of the night - he somehow felt it in his heart nonetheless. He sat down on the edge, sighing as he viewed the street below. He wondered if they'd go back to London, open their actual agency room back up… Hypothetical futures that he probably ruined for himself. Edwin might have to continue the Dead Boy Agency by himself, he figured. He shook his head, not wanting to think about it. He didn't like the thought of having to be without Charles. If it was possible, he'd probably die again because of it. After all these years, a life - or death - without the other seemed impossible. Especially after Edwin realised he didn't just have friendly feelings for Charles. He ran a hand through his hair with an annoyed huff. He came up here to ignore what happened, not sit around and be depressed about it.
“It's probably cold, isn't it?” A voice behind Edwin spoke, and he immediately recognised the soft tone of mischief and teasing. His heart dropped as he turned to look at Charles. “... I suppose it would be.” He answered, slightly awkward. Would Charles mention anything? Would they talk about it? He didn't even care if he got rejected, honestly, he just wanted an answer. He turned back to the street, uncaring about how messy his hair now was. Edwin doesn't think he can look at Charles right now. He does want to, but something inside him would break if he did. So instead, he gazed at the street below, a weird comfort about the darkness only lit by Jenny's half broken light. Charles came to stand beside him, and Edwin silently cursed him for it. Even more so when the other lifted a hand to fix Edwin's hair slightly. Something so mundane, yet it made his non-existent heart jump. Charles noticed, he always did, even though until now he hadn't thought anything of it. “Look, Edwin, we've been friends for 30 years. I didn't think you'd ever… feel like that.” The curly haired sighed deeply, and Edwin knew what would come next, he'd read it in the books Niko had given him. This was a rejection. One that would hurt, at that. When he had read these scenes, they didn't feel like this, didn't make his stomach churn and his heart drop - metaphorically. In those books, it was so much easier. Some sadness, then acceptance, easily gotten over with. For Edwin, this was his life. If he didn't have Charles as a friend, he might as well step back into hell. It didn't matter anymore where he was, because he'd be without Charles.
There's a beat of silence between them, Charles tries to find the words. “It's okay. We can just stay friends. I don't mind.” Edwin speaks, and he's surprised that his voice doesn't betray him. “I do, though.” Charles grumbles, and for the first time, he doesn't struggle with finding the words to describe his feelings. “Edwin, you're the most amazing person I've ever met. Now, I haven't met a lot of people, most were either assholes or clients, but I would be lying if I didn't say that I'm glad to be here with you. I can't tell if I.. just want to be your friend or not but I don't know… I'm willing to try, I guess?” He rambled, his words coming out slightly too fast as one of his hands comes up to rest on Edwin's shoulder. The curly haired sighed softly. “I haven't exactly had the.. Best place to figure out feelings and stuff so… be a little patient?” He chuckles awkwardly, immediately trying to bring humour back into the situation - Edwin was more than happy about that. He didn't like the whole feely stuff as well. However, he still couldn't help the relieved sigh that fell from his lips. “..okay. Trying things out. That's… yes, that I can do.” He answers, and he smiles back the second he realises Charles’ face twists into his usual grin. “Guess we're two idiots with feelings, huh?” He chuckles, idly playing with the pins on his coat. “As much as I wish I could say that isn't true, I guess we are.” Edwin hums back, sighing softly as he feels Charles lean against him slightly.
“Well, at least we're each other's idiots with feelings now.”

Link to Chapter I
A/N: Well, here it is after another month of blood and sweat! I originally meant for this to be like a 3-parter but with the way I've been changing my mind and expanding things during writing it might likely turn out to be four, lol
Also I love these three so much my heart is soft for them
Well, for lack of a better word, this was quite the fuck-up.
You were honestly quite impressed at your talent for destruction. In the span of a mere night, you’d hurt the two persons closest to your heart, leading them both to decide they wanted nothing to do with you for the foreseeable future. And truthfully, you would have been just as likely to do the same in their position. As much as you would have liked to think that the alcohol had made you say all those things on that clusterfuck of a night, deep down you knew the Firewhisky had only brought out what had already been buried deep inside you. All of the fear, the shame, the anger you had felt once Poppy had opened up about how she really felt about you – it was all original. Ugly, but original.
Not that admitting as much made you feel any better. In fact, you weren’t really sure how to feel at all. The more time you spent trying to make sense of your emotions, the more it felt like you were trapping yourself in a web of your own doubts, not able to decide what was real and what wasn’t. Take Poppy, for one – you felt an arse for kicking her down in that moment of vulnerability, but you knew you couldn’t allow yourself to feel the same way as she did, not as your relationship with Imelda was on the verge of blossoming in something… more, something more eternal. You just couldn’t flat-out admit that your feelings had never been entirely devoted to her, knowing that she had made such a major sacrifice of her own by confronting her fears – it would make it all amount to some deceiving betrayal.
Though, of course, the mixed signals your fellow Slytherin was sending made you question that as well. As bad as it was, part of you was still inclined to believe that her keenness on outing Poppy had been a relapse to her old ways. But then again, you didn’t really understand what she’d been after. Had she meant it as a mere jest to embarrass the both of you? Or was there something more sinister behind it?
Too many questions, too few answers. But you knew at least one thing for certain – you weren’t about to throw away two of your most treasured relationships over your own stupidity.
––
You decided to wait a week or two to let the dust settle and gather your bearings before you went to seek out Poppy first. It wasn’t necessarily that you thought she deserved it more than Imelda – Merlin knew you’d hurt them both equally badly – but you figured she’d at least be more receptive to an apology. Besides, on top of your unintentional cruelty, she definitely didn’t deserve to be the victim of whatever was going on between you and your girlfriend.
The problem, of course, was that Poppy didn’t exactly turn out to be as forgiving as you had hoped.
The first time you tried to talk to her was after Beasts class. You were no longer sitting together, and she made every effort to ignore your presence as long as you were in the same room, but at least she was still showing up. So as soon as Professor Howin dismissed the class, you hurried to hand in your assignment and went after her, only to promptly come face to face with Adelaide Oakes as she stepped into your way.
“Hello, MC,” she said with a steely smile, radiating everything but friendliness.
“Uh, hello, Adelaide,” you replied, shifting uncertainly on your feet. “How – uhm, how are you?”
“Oh, I’m quite all right. Not sure if I can say the same of you. You seem a bit stressed, if you don’t mind me saying.”
You resisted the urge to come up with a retort, closing your eyes and taking a deep breath before proceeding: “Yeah, uh, look, I was actually hoping to speak to Poppy –”
“She’s not here.”
Oh, you already started to understand what this was about. Some vulture coming to see if the rumours were true, no doubt. You wondered how much Poppy had told her. She’d never been one to rely on her housemates very often, much less engage in gossip, but if she had returned to her dorm in tears that night –
“I know I just saw her,” you said. “If I could just have a word –”
Adelaide shook her head. “I don’t think that’s a very good idea. She doesn’t want to speak to you at the moment.”
“I understand, but if I could explain –”
“There’s nothing to explain, because she doesn’t want to talk to you. Were you not listening just now?”
Fucking hell. You knew a thing or two about badger loyalty, but clearly you had underestimated the intensity of these people.
“Look, frankly I don’t think it’s any of your business –“ you began, but she quickly cut you off. “And that’s where you’re wrong. I may not exactly know what transpired between you two, but I know you’ve hurt her, and as far as I’m concerned that’s enough reason for me to tell you to get lost. Maybe she’ll decide to talk to you when she feels ready. But if I were you, I wouldn’t count on it.”
You could feel the stares of other students beginning to fixate on the two of you. You briefly contemplated persisting, though you quickly realised that making a scene in front of everyone probably wasn’t going to improve your chances. Deciding to give in, you let out a sigh. “All right. Just… could you tell her that I was looking for her?”
Her face told you very clearly to fuck off, but to her credit, her actual response was at least somewhat more measured. “I’ll think about it,” she said.
“Thank you.”
She didn’t say another word as she left. You sighed before quickly making your own escape, not particularly keen on treating everyone to any more of a spectacle than they’d already been given.
You decided to wait a couple of more days to see if Poppy would change her mind about seeing you. However, after it became obvious to you that wasn’t going to happen, you pivoted to making another attempt of your own, trying to catch her by herself while she was tending to the school beasts.
Making your way down to the pens, you noticed a familiar feathery head sticking out behind the fences. You carefully approached the Hippogriff, putting up your hand to greet her. “Hello, Highwing –”
Highwing turned towards you, amber eyes seeming to bore into your soul. For a minute, you were struck by the imminent fear that the creature was about to charge you… but then she promptly turned around, letting out a sound that sounded suspiciously much like a snort.
“Guess I deserved that,” you sighed.
Looking around, you searched for the Hufflepuff between the clusters of Puffskeins, Diricawls and Jobberknolls. Just as you began to wonder if you’d missed your chance, you spotted her, kneeling next to the Kneazle pen. You took a deep breath to steady yourself and clutched the strap of your bag, walking over to the small figure.
“Poppy, hello –”
The Hufflepuff jumped up, eyes briefly widening before she turned her head away from you. “MC,” she said, her voice flat. “What are you doing here?”
You took a step forward, taking the fact that she wasn’t immediately trying to run away as a good sign. “I was hoping to speak to you. I tried finding you the other day, but –”
“I know. Now is not really a good time, I’m busy.”
She picked up a bucket and started towards one of the other pens, still not meeting your eyes. It pained you to hear the hurt still so raw and fresh in her voice, though you followed her all the same, determined to make your case to her. “Look, I just want to talk about what happened. Can you at least hear me out?”
She didn’t answer, but at least she wasn’t saying no either. After a few seconds of silence, you thought you saw just the faintest hint of a small nod, so you went ahead, “I’m really sorry for what happened. It wasn’t fair of Imelda to take advantage of your feelings like that, and it wasn’t fair of me to respond the way I did, and… I just really regret that you got caught in the middle of it all.”
Poppy remained silent, pondering your words. Then came her answer, cold and plain, “That’s all you wanted to say?”
Ouch. Not good. “You have absolutely every right to be upset. If I had just known how you truly felt –”
“Would that have made any difference at all?” Her voice grew sharper, pain turning to anger. “Tell me, MC, would you have reacted any differently?”
“Of course I would have. If you had just told me, I would have been more understanding about it – we could have figured it out together –”
“But you wouldn’t have told me you felt the same way.”
It wasn’t so much a realisation as it was a condemnation. Even though you had expected things to eventually come to this, you still found yourself thrown off balance, struggling to say something that wouldn’t tear the wound even more.
“Poppy, you know how much I care about our friendship – about you… I always have and I always will, but… the truth is that I don’t feel the same way as you do. And you deserve better than for me to lie about that –”
“Oh, do I?”
Her voice was starting to crack now, straining under the weight of her own emotions. She threw the bucket down and kneeled, turning her back to you as she began filling it with seeds.
“If you’re so keen on being honest, then indulge me and tell me what really happened on that night we brought back the Unicorn. Or shall we simply continue to pretend that never happened?”
“No, not at all, but –”
You hesitated, knowing you were treading on thin ice. “I just… I don’t think we should blow that out of proportion. We both know we were acting in the excitement of the moment.”
“Right. Of course.”
She rose and finally turned around to face you. Your heart shattered at the sight of the streaks on her delicate features, redness bleeding into the corners of her eyes.
“I think it would be best if we stopped seeing each other for a while,” she said.
“Poppy –” you tried rather pathetically, but she shook her head. “I wish to forgive you, MC, truly. But… you’ve hurt me, and I’m not certain an apology will do anything to fix that. I think… I’m going to need some time to trust you again.”
You felt tears of your own burning as you heard her confession, only now realising the true extent of your actions, realising how deep the knife had cut. There was a part of you that wanted to resist, to kneel before her and beg her for forgiveness, but you also knew that this wasn’t your decision to make.
“All right,” you said after what felt like an eternity, swallowing back a sob. “I hope, in time, we can be friends again.”
Dear Merlin, please let it be, you added in your head.
––
So, safe to say that Poppy was a bust, or a very tentative maybe at best. It wasn’t anything less than you deserved, you figured, although you weren’t feeling any more confident as far as Imelda was concerned – perhaps even the opposite. Still, you had no intention of delaying the confrontation any further. You had already wasted enough time feeling sorry for yourself, and besides, you assumed that if your relationship had ever truly meant something, surely she would at least be willing to hear you out.
Or so you hoped.
––
“Fuck off.”
Well, that was probably the best reaction you could’ve gotten.
You were closely following behind Imelda, trying to keep up with her as she marched across the field towards the training rooms. Thankfully she had been too preoccupied with chewing out the Beaters to see you approach, though she had wasted no time in turning around and walking away as soon as she’d laid her eyes on you.
“Come on Imelda,” you pleaded with her, “I just want to talk –”
“Ain’t nothing to talk about. You’re a bitch, end of story. Now get lost, before I hex you.”
Deciding to go out on a limb and assume she wouldn’t actually turn you into a frog, you pursued her into the changing room. “Please, you know I wasn’t myself that night. None of us were. I didn’t mean any of the things I said –”
“Great,” she scoffed, taking off her arm pads and throwing them in the corner. “Am I supposed to feel better now?”
“No, I just… I’d hate for the good thing we had to be ruined by some stupid shit I said when I was drunk. I know what happened wasn’t your fault, and I never meant to imply that it was.”
Imelda fell silent for a moment. You watched her as she let her flying robe slip off her shoulders, wrapping it up and throwing it on one of the benches. “Have you spoken to Poppy yet?”
“I have,” you nodded. “I tried to be honest with her – I told her that I felt really bad for dismissing her feelings like that and I was sorry that she got caught between us –”
“Us?” Imelda snorted. “What, so you mean to say it’s my fault after all?”
“No, no one’s to blame. It was all a stupid jest that spun out of control, and I panicked, and I obviously said a lot of things I shouldn’t have. So, will you be able to forgive me?”
The Slytherin turned towards you, crossing her arms in front of her chest. You wished you had a better read on the expression on her face; she didn’t seem too angry, but you were also intimately familiar with her affinity for holding grudges, and you doubted it would be as simple as smoothing it all over with a few words.
“I don’t think I’m the one you should be apologising to,” she said.
“I tried. She said she wasn’t sure and that she needed more time –”
“That’s not what I meant.”
You furrowed your brow, confusion overtaking you. Imelda let out a sigh. “Look, MC, I’m not some spiteful bitch looking for a grudge to keep, okay? I know you didn’t mean the things you said. But you’ve got some things to figure out, and it’s not going to do you any favours if I just forgive you and pretend everything’s fine and dandy.”
“But my mind is clear,” you persisted. “I love you, Mel.”
To your surprise, she walked up to you and placed her hands on your shoulders. “I know,” she said. “And that’s why I’m telling you to stop fucking about and start being honest with yourself. Maybe, once your head’s in the right place, we can talk.”
You saw her dark eyes scanning your features, as if she was trying to read your thoughts, perhaps sensing the storm wreaking havoc inside. It was funny how, after all, you were still trying so hard to deny the obvious – maintaining that you were fine, that you had never seen things more clearly. Though, deep down, you knew Imelda had planted a little seed of doubt – the humble beginnings of salvation.
––
Thoughts, thoughts, so many thoughts. You were battling a fierce enemy right inside your own mind, and the worst thing was that you had no idea how to win. You would have preferred some infamous Dark wizard or perhaps an ugly forest troll; they were also a pain in the arse to deal with, but at least you could dispose of them with spells or potions. There was no real strategy to what you were doing, and most of the time it just left you more tired and frustrated.
Of course, you tried to be honest with yourself, like Imelda had told you to. The issue being that you didn’t know what that even meant. Had there actually been more to that kiss than you’d cared to admit? And if that was true, did that also mean that you truly cared about Poppy in more ways than friendship? Did Imelda want you to admit as much? Did she want to hear it from your mouth – did she want you to make a choice?
Quite frankly, that thought scared you more than anything. The more and more you thought about it, the more it made sense; she had always valued honesty, and in light of the things she had confessed to you, you figured she wouldn’t want to commit her life to you when your own heart wasn’t fully in it. However, you also realised that if you were to declare your undivided devotion to her, you’d inevitably end up hurting Poppy even more. The idea of breaking the heart of your best friend and likely losing her seemed to weigh on you the heaviest; knowing how much you had meant to her over the years, knowing the role you had played as the first real human connection she’d formed at school… you just couldn’t bring yourself to even contemplate it.
All in all, you didn’t have the faintest clue what to do. Which perhaps wouldn’t even have been half as bad if all the fretting wasn’t starting to take its physical toll on you as well. More and more often you would find yourself losing attention in class, only to be told off by Professors who demanded to know what was wrong with you, forcing you to come up with a load of excuses you couldn’t possibly keep track of. Even out of class you tended to avoid your housemates, mostly holing up in your dorm or your Room of Requirement. The nights were by far the worst; seemingly endless hours during which you would lie awake, fears and doubts plaguing your mind, shattering any hope of quiet dreams.
Perhaps you shouldn’t have been surprised that others were beginning to take note.

Staring groggily at the pages of your Astronomy manual, you were largely tuned out of everything happening around you, completely focused on trying to keep your eyelids from falling shut. You’d picked out a silent corner of the library just to be safe, though you still felt Scribner watching you like a hawk, just waiting for the moment you fell asleep. Flipping a page, you shielded your mouth with your hand as you let out a big yawn, failing to notice the brown-haired boy approaching you.
“Why hello sunshine,” Sebastian greeted you with a cheeky grin, smacking down a big tome next to you on the table. “Who took a piss in your breakfast this morning?”
“Fuck off Sallow, I’m not in the mood.”
Of course, he simply ignored you and pulled up a chair, plopping down with a chuckle. “Yeah, I can tell. Then again, you’ve been walking around with your knickers in a twist all week. Something happen?”
“Nothing that’s in any way your concern,” you scoffed.
Sebastian shrugged. “Fair enough. I’m just poking my nose around anyway. Saw Imelda the other week and she seemed even more narky than usual, so I assumed something was going on between you two.”
You sighed deeply, letting your head fall to the table. As much as you really didn’t feel like talking to Sebastian right now, part of you wondered what good rotting in your own self-pity would do. And you had to admit that in any case it beat sharing your feelings with Peeves.
“I don’t know, Sebastian,” you sighed. “I think I really messed up this time.”
“Lucky for you, I may be considered something of an expert in that area,” Sebastian replied. “Come, tell old Seb what’s tormenting your poor little soul.”
You might as well have shouted it from the rooftops, though at any rate, you didn’t have much to lose at this point anyway. So you told him everything, from the kiss to your drunken fuck-up and all that had come after. To his credit, Sebastian refrained from making quips, only listening patiently until you were done, leaning in his chair as you finished.
“Well then,” he said after a couple of minutes of silence, “quite the predicament you seem to be finding yourself in.”
“Right,” you sighed. “Didn’t really need your help to understand that, though.”
He shrugged. “At least you’re finally honest about how you feel. You do care about Sweeting as more than a friend, right?”
“Obviously, but that still doesn’t help me.”
“Perhaps not. Perhaps it makes all the difference in the world. You’re so set on making this choice that you aren’t even stopping to wonder whether it’s the choice you should be making.”
You stared at him, trying to figure out whether he was pulling your leg. He didn’t sound like he was joking, but then again, you didn’t know what he was driving at either.
“Look, I won’t try and pretend like I understand everything that’s going on between you three. I’m a man of simple tastes, after all. But I’ve known Imelda since first year, and I can pretty much assure you this is not about jealousy. Or would you truly take her for someone who would waste her time orchestrating a vindictive revenge plot when she could just as easily tell you to get fucked?”
No, truthfully, that didn’t sound like Imelda at all. Furthermore, you now also realised, she had never made any attempt to get in the way of your friendship with Poppy developing into something more – in fact, you were pretty sure she had been encouraging it.
Sebastian chuckled. “See, now you’re catching on. Woman may be a marvel on a broom, but we both know she doesn’t handle emotions well. Getting the three of you together in a room and lowering some inhibitions on the other hand –”
Of course. The first thing Imelda had asked when you’d gone to see her was if you had made things right with Poppy. Not herself, Poppy. Had she been hoping for some kind of informal arrangement? Or had she intended for you three to grow into something more serious?
“Merlin,” you cursed, “I can’t even –”
Sebastian gave you a smile. “Look, I’d say the best thing you could do right now is to be honest with yourself. Ask what you really want. As soon as you’re certain, go talk to them.”
It was so sensible. So far you had been so hung up on Poppy’s and Imelda’s intentions that you hadn’t given a second of thought to what you wanted. Perhaps you didn’t want to choose between the two of them. Perhaps you wanted something else.
“How come you know so much about this stuff anyway?” you asked, turning to Sebastian with a frown on your face.
He gave a nonchalant shrug. “Let’s just say I have some experience in these matters. Ominis can be a jealous bastard, but nothing turns him on more than watching me pound a girl from behind.”
Your jaw dropped. “Are you two –?”
“Hey, you are entitled to your little secrets, I am entitled to mine.” He smiled as he got up, shifting his book under his arm. “Take your time, MC. I’m sure you’ll figure it out.”
––
You watched nervously as the door to The Three Broomsticks swung open, nearly knocking your chair over as you stood up. Feeling your heart thundering in your chest, a series of frantic thoughts ran through your mind. Had you prepared well enough? What if they didn’t arrive at the same time? Should you have picked a different spot? Had you made a mistake by even doing this at all?
Your shoulders eased as you saw the elderly wizarding couple walk in. Sinking back into your seat, you put your head in your hands, blowing out a sigh. Perhaps this wasn’t such a good idea after all. You had been quite certain last night, feeling happy that you finally had managed to make up your mind, but ever since waking up this morning you had been nothing but a bundle of nerves. You couldn’t even be sure that they would show up, let alone that you had any way of predicting what their reaction would be. Perhaps the wounds were still too fresh. But at any rate, you felt they deserved the sincere truth at the very least – you owed them that much, after everything that happened.
Sirona came up to you to ask if you were prepared to make your order yet. You told her no, and that you were still waiting for a couple of friends.
“Fair enough,” the landlady said, casting you a suspicious glance. “Is everything all right between you and Imelda? It’s been ages since you stopped by for a Butterbeer together.”
“We’ve been through some… rocky times. I’m hoping I can make things right today,” you confessed.
“Ah, I see. Well, good luck. It’d honestly be a shame if you broke up.”
You nodded. “Thanks, Sirona.”
The landlady left you with a pat on your shoulder and you focused your attention on the door again. Minutes passed by, the hope that they would actually show up slipping away with every second. Of course you couldn’t have expected them to… there was no mending this with just some words… you would have to –
Just then, the door opened and Imelda walked in, followed by Poppy in her yellow-lined robe. You shot up, feeling your throat instantly turn bone dry. The moment of truth. Would they walk out when they saw you?
Their heads turned, scanning the room, and then you felt two pairs of eyes settle on you. You awkwardly raised your hand by way of greeting. They looked at each other, seemingly discussing something between themselves, before they walked over to your table.
“Well, ain’t this a surprise,” Imelda said, though you noted her voice lacked any hint of malice. “I suppose that note didn’t come from Nerida after all.”
“I’m sorry about that,” you quickly answered. “I just wanted to make sure you would both be here. There’s something I’d like to say to you and… I hope you want to listen.”
Your eyes automatically darted towards Poppy, expecting her to be the most resistant to your plea, though she simply exchanged one look with Imelda and then shrugged. You sat down and they followed your lead. Clearing your throat, you took a deep breath.
“I want to begin by saying… you were right and I was wrong. About everything. I was so afraid of the implications of my true feelings that I rather deluded myself into believing I was right, instead of confronting how I really felt… and ended up hurting you both. I know excuses won’t make anything right at this point, so – I think it’s about time I told you both the full truth.”
You turned to Poppy, meeting her innocent gaze. “Poppy, I can’t even begin to describe how much you mean to me. I love you, both as my best friend and more than that. You’re kind, and strong, and beautiful in more ways than you know. Witnessing you open up about your feelings so candidly… it was honestly the bravest thing I’ve ever seen, and you deserved better than for me to lie to you and hurt you.”
Your voice trembling, you then looked at Imelda, feeling shivers creep into your tone as you made your confession. “Mel… you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I meant it when I said that I wanted to be with you during the most important moments of your life. I think I got so scared of mucking up and losing you that I started to act like this person I was not… when now I realise that all along you just wanted me to be honest. And I want to be honest with you now –”
Turning your attention to them both, you continued, “You two are the most important persons in my life, and I don’t even want to contemplate the thought of losing either one of you. So, will you please forgive me?”
This was it; the moment you surrendered yourself. Even as you finished you immediately started wondering whether there was more you could have said, what other words could have conveyed your sincerity better. On the other hand, if you hadn’t been able to convince them now, you doubted anything else could have made a difference.
Poppy and Imelda seemed to consider your words, trading looks as you watched on with rising anticipation. You were taken by surprise, though, as Imelda shifted and gently grasped Poppy’s hand. “Actually, MC, we have a confession of our own to make,” she said, her voice neutral.
“You must know that it pains us to tell you this,” Poppy continued, “but we should be honest with you as well. After you caused us so much pain, we started to take a great deal of comfort in each other’s presence –”
A feeling of dread started to settle over you. What was going on? Was this really happening?
“We decided we want to be together,” Imelda finished. “We’re sorry, MC… but this might just be for the best.”
You felt like you’d taken a punch to the gut. All you could do was sit there, staring as you were overcome with shock, disbelief, betrayal – until you saw the smirk beginning to grow on Imelda’s face.
“Oh,” you muttered, “oh, you mean –”
Poppy finally burst into a lighthearted giggle as Imelda smiled at her. “I told you she’d fall for it. Worked like a charm, didn’t it?”
“All right, I suppose I deserved that,” you said, relief slipping into your own smile.
“Yes, you did,” Imelda replied. “But now that we’re even, I guess we might as well give you a second chance. What about you, Pops?”
“I suppose all this bitterness doesn’t suit me so much after all,” Poppy said brightly. “Besides… I will say I have really missed our friendship, MC.”
“I did as well,” you nodded, searching for her hand and finding it; her eyes filling with a softness that made your heart leap in your chest. “From now on, I promise I won’t hurt you like that ever again.”
You noticed Imelda having a pensive look on her face. Before you could ask what was on her mind, however, she spoke up: “I suppose I owe you both an apology as well. I don’t really want to blame the booze for what happened… it wasn’t fair of me to put you two on the spot at that moment, and I’m sorry for it.”
“Perhaps it wasn’t all bad in the end,” you said with a smile, giving Poppy’s hand a soft squeeze. “Though I am curious. Why did you do it?”
Imelda shrugged. “I don’t think it was a rational decision. Not then, at least. I will say it was a little infuriating, seeing you two constantly play coy when it was obvious you fancied each other… so I figured I’d take my chance and see how things would play out.”
So you hadn’t been entirely wrong after all. Then again, you couldn’t help but feel as if Imelda wasn’t telling you the whole story.
“So you weren’t jealous after all?” you asked.
Imelda hesitated, shooting Poppy a quick glance. “Well… I’ve thought about that. To be honest, after that conversation we had about our relationship, I suppose I was happy, but something just didn’t feel right. Seeing how you were so ready and eager to completely commit yourself to me… it was flattering, but when I started paying attention to how much you two cared about each other, I just couldn’t help but feel… guilty.”
“Guilty?” you asked, raising your eyebrows. “Why?”
“Because…” She wavered for just a moment, swallowing before she said, “Because it’s not fair to ask you to make that sacrifice… when I’m not sure I could ever do the same. I want to try, but even then I don’t know if I will ever be able to give as much of myself as you do. So, I made a decision. If you want to keep seeing each other, I won’t stand in the way.”
You could feel the air practically being sucked out of the room with Imelda’s confession. Your head was spinning with so many emotions all at once; gratitude, desire, happiness. Perhaps a little ironically, it was as if you had never been more in love with the Slytherin as you were then, knowing that she was willing to make this kind of sacrifice for you. But you loved the kindhearted Hufflepuff on your other side just as much… and you had already made your choice.
“Actually, I have been giving a great deal of thought to what I really want,” you said. Reaching over the table, you took Imelda’s hand, noticing her surprised eyes shooting up to meet your own. “I realise this is a lot to ask, but… when I look at you both, and I see how much we are able to share with each other, it feels selfish to keep either of you to myself. I don’t want to choose between you, or wish for this to be an arrangement where I only can enjoy one of you at a time. What I want… is for us to be together. Truly together – all three of us.”
You waited patiently for your words to sink in. Perhaps surprisingly, you felt less anxious about their reaction than earlier. It felt good to finally be frank about your feelings, to let these two persons closest to your heart know exactly how much they meant to you – the kind of future you wanted to share with them.
The girls seemed a bit lost for words, although you noted they didn’t appear as shocked as you had expected them to be. Perhaps they’d had a sense of where you had been heading after all. Imelda’s lips hinted at a burgeoning grin, while a fresh blush bloomed on Poppy’s cheeks, her eyes sparkling brightly.
“Well?” you asked. “What do you think?”
“It is… an intriguing thought.” Poppy replied. “I must confess I’m not much experienced in these matters, but… you are both very dear to me and I suppose I wouldn’t mind an opportunity to deepen our bond –”
You turned your head. “Mel, what about you?”
“I guess I have some questions about the practicalities as well, but on the other hand, a chance to enjoy you both sounds too good to pass up.” She smiled at you. “You know what, fuck it, I’m willing to give it a try.”
You gave both of their hands a squeeze, gratitude filling your voice at their embrace of your wish. Already you could hardly wait to grow even closer to them, to share all of yourself with these beautiful souls.
“We can take our time to figure this all out,” you said. “There’s no need to rush into anything. We’ll take it slow, and we’ll be open with each other. But I don’t think it’s too premature to say that I’m excited to be exploring this new chapter in my life… and there’s no one else I’d rather do it with.”
You looked around you, sharing looks of gratitude and excitement with each other, knowing that no matter what happened from here on out – your bond had just grown into something stronger, more profound.
“So,” said Poppy with a shy smile, “I suppose this would qualify as our first date, then?”
––
It had been a month since your meeting in The Three Broomsticks, and honestly? Your life had never felt so full of promise – of meaning. You had never found anything to be lacking even back when it was still Imelda and you, but the introduction of Poppy to the equation had opened up a whole new part of your relationship to explore. It was like you were getting to fall in love all over again, and it was the best feeling in the world.
You noticed the change in Imelda as well. If she had any trouble adjusting, she wasn’t really showing it. As a matter of fact, she seemed more relaxed than usual; less likely to walk around with a snippy attitude, more comfortable in her own skin. You had assummed she would have wanted to adopt a more controlling role in your redefined relationship, though most of the time she seemed fine with letting you and Poppy have some moments to yourself, if that’s what you wanted.
Which wasn’t to say that you weren’t setting some rules. You were very sensitive to balancing your commitments yourself, wanting to make sure you gave both of your girls equal amounts of attention. You and Imelda would often get to spend more time with each other due to being in the same house, so you made sure to see Poppy whenever you could, even if it was as simple as a kiss after breakfast, or holding hands when you walked back to the castle together after Beasts class. Most important of all, you agreed to be frank with each other. You were constantly mindful of each other’s needs and boundaries, communicating what worked for you and what didn’t. Imelda still wasn’t too fond of exhibiting your affection for all of Hogwarts to see, but she didn’t mind if you and Poppy were being cuddly in public. Poppy liked kisses, though she preferred secluded areas if you were to go any further beyond a quick peck to the cheek. Also – under no circumstance were you to use your pet names for each other in the vicinity of other students. (Which, admittedly, had been at your own insistence.)
Overall, the three of you managed to make things work pretty well. There was just one minor point of contention. You and Imelda had broached the subject of bedroom rules pretty early on, thinking it best to establish clear boundaries before you initiated anything, though Poppy had kindly requested a delay of any more… intimate activities. She felt bad for asking, but you assured her that you didn’t mind, that you were willing to take this at whatever pace she was comfortable with. Even though Imelda agreed as well, you knew that she felt slightly less excited about having to put off sex with you, especially since you’d never gotten the chance to… ‘reconcile’ after your brief separation. Still, to her credit, she was putting up with it, and you supposed it would just be a matter of time anyway.
––
“I have to say, green suits you better than I thought,” you chuckled.
“Oh, I don’t know,” Poppy sighed, fidgeting with the emerald green scarf around her neck. “I felt bad enough putting it on this morning. Everyone else in Hufflepuff is coming out for Ravenclaw…”
“But you still decided to wear it,” you said, wrapping an arm around her shoulders as the two of you followed the crowd to the Quidditch pitch. “I’m sure Mel will be thrilled when she sees you.”
Poppy smiled up at you. “You don’t suppose anyone will wonder who arranged those first-row seats for us?”
“Maybe,” you shrugged, “but I don’t see why we should care.”
Entering the corridor leading up to the stands, you couldn’t help but feel some curious looks being cast your way. As much as you didn’t really feel bothered by them, you were a little concerned about Poppy. “Say,” you said, “I know I’m probably repeating myself, but if at any point you feel that we should calm things down a bit –”
Your sentence was abruptly cut off as you were yanked into a small alcove, Poppy pulling you down by your own scarf to press her soft lips to yours. You let out a groan at the surprise gesture, leaning into the kiss, savouring the sweet taste of the Hufflepuff. An eternity later, Poppy pulled back, her face glowing. “I don’t think I want to. I really like kissing you too much.”
“The feeling is mutual,” you smiled, tenderly stroking her cheek. “But we probably shouldn’t be wasting too much time. Come, the game is about to start.”
You extended your hand, and she eagerly took it. Moving through the bustling crowd of supporters, you swiftly located your seats. You were already accustomed to Imelda reserving prime spots for you at Quidditch matches, though you could tell Poppy was rather new to the experience. A smile graced your face as you watched her gaze in wonder at the magnificent surroundings.
You leaned over to whisper to her. “The best thing is that you won’t even have to stand on your toes to see anything.”
“Again with the quips about my stature,” she said with an eye roll. “You’re the only one who keeps doing that, you know.”
“I did know that. But I think you might prefer it over the things Imelda likes to joke about.”
The look she gave provoked a chuckle from you. There was no time to mess around for long, though, as an eruption of cheers heralded the arrival of the players. You didn’t search long for Imelda. She stood out, soaring above her teammates, a striking figure in her billowing robe and long black hair.
Poppy leaned over to you. “She looks so pretty, doesn’t she?”
“That she does,” you agreed.
As the match began, you couldn’t help but feel the slightest bit of anxiety. Surely you knew better than to question Imelda’s skill, but at the same time, it was easy to wonder whether she had in any way been distracted by all of the recent developments. You would never forgive yourself if she lost a game because of you; and you assumed neither would Poppy, for that matter.
Of course, it turned out that you never had anything to worry about. Each of the Slytherins played their role to perfection, and Imelda herself was like a lightning bolt, handling the Quaffle with a ferocity that Poppy aptly likened to a Kneazle protecting her cubs. It hardly came as a surprise when the game was called merely thirty-sixth minutes in with a decisive win for Slytherin: 270 to 60 points.
“Let’s go!” you shouted to Poppy, trying to make yourself heard over all the excitement exploding around you. “I know a shortcut to Imelda’s quarters; we can wait for her there!”
Poppy nodded, quickly grabbing your robe to keep herself from being dragged along by the crowd. With some effort, you managed to clear a path to the changing rooms and the Captain’s quarters, quickly moving inside to avoid any curious gazes. You leaned against the desk as you watched Poppy curiously peruse the many books and notes outlining Imelda’s tricks and strategies.
“So, how was this for you?” you decided to ask. “Attending a Quidditch match, I mean.”
“Oh, well, it’s amusing, I suppose…” Poppy replied, awkwardly rubbing the back of her head. “To be frank, it’s still a little daunting to be around so many people.”
You nodded in understanding. “Even so, I think it’s brave that you took a step you wouldn’t normally have taken. I’m sure it means a lot to Imelda – and me as well.”
The Hufflepuff turned towards you, her eyes gleaming with the kind of radiant innocence you’d come to fall so deeply in love with. “I’m glad to hear that,” she said, though you sensed hesitance in her voice, a thought plaguing her mind. Having gotten accustomed to reading her emotions, you waited patiently, offering her a chance to bring up the subject on her own accord.
“MC…” she said.
But then the door swung open. You instantly veered up from your seat to greet Imelda, who came in bearing the most smug grin you’d ever seen.
“Well, if it ain’t my two favourite persons,” she smiled, before turning to Poppy and embracing the girl in a warm hug. “Thanks for coming, Pops. It was really good to see you before the game.”
“I’m glad I could do my part,” Poppy said with a chuckle. “You were marvellous today, Imelda.”
The Slytherin grinned as she pulled back, her gaze only lingering just a second before she moved in again and kissed her. Poppy immediately responded to the gesture, the pink shade of her face deepening as their lips met. You failed to prevent a tinge of validation from seeping into your smile as you watched them, happy that their friendship had already started to blossom into something more.
Sure enough, you had expected Imelda to be eager to move on to you, but one thing you’d failed to anticipate was just how pent-up her craving for you was. Almost instantly, you could feel her tongue wrestling your lips open, a warm moan flowing into the depths of your throat. You gasped as you separated, a thin strand of saliva breaking apart on your chin.
“You were amazing out there, love,” you somehow managed to whisper between the audible thumping of your heart.
“Thanks,” she smiled, and Gods, the primal look she was giving nearly did you in right there and then. “Though I must confess I was kind of hoping for a different prize…”
“Oh?”
“Mhm.” She leaned in to whisper in your ear: “Frankly, all I could think about when everyone was cheering me on was the taste of your cunt.”
“Bloody hell, Mel,” you chuckled nervously, glancing over at Poppy to make sure she wasn’t overhearing you.
“What?” Imelda asked with feigned innocence, purposely grazing the skin of your lobe. “She can join in if she wants. I wouldn’t mind.”
As much as the thought of getting to share your body with both Imelda and Poppy made you feel hot in all the right places, you knew you couldn’t go along with the idea – not yet.
“We can’t,” you whispered, fighting back the sense of intoxication. “We promised, remember?”
You anticipated greater persistence from her, though to your mild surprise, she eased back and let out a sigh. “I know. But we’re going to have to talk about it soon. I hate being so close to you without ever getting to be intimate again –”
“We will,” you promised, lightly pecking her lips to reassure her. In an instant, she reverted to her former self, grinning broadly at both of you. “So, I’d say this calls for a celebration. How about a couple of drinks over at the Three Broomsticks?”
“Fine by me,” you agreed.
“Actually, I had an idea –” Poppy replied. “I was thinking… I still regret that our previous ladies’ night ended the way it did, and I’ve been wanting to propose a do-over now that we’ve… well, become more than friends –”
You exchanged looks with Imelda, noticing a familiar hopeful spark in her eyes. It wouldn’t have taken Legilimency to discern that the two of you were thinking the exactly same thing; that perhaps this could be the first glimpse of Poppy’s less… ‘restrained’ side.
“That wouldn’t be too bad of an idea,” Imelda said. “I’ll probably be caught up in events all week, so it’ll be nice to have a quiet moment to ourselves. What about you, MC?”
You nodded. “Yeah, I like the Room better. We’ll be less likely to get bothered by someone.”
Maybe that wasn’t what you were really getting at, but either way, it seemed best not to get ahead of yourself right now. You looked at each other, eyes filled with gratitude, just calmly enjoying the moment.
That was, until Imelda’s voice cut through the silence. “So,” she said, putting her hands on her hips, “are you two going to leave, or are you just waiting for me to drop my trousers?”
––
“Either way, that’s when he gave me this look and… even though he didn’t say as much, I think he basically confessed that they’re fucking.”
Across from you, Poppy stared at you with an open mouth, while Imelda started laughing. “Of course they are. Good to hear that little Sebbie is still as predictable as ever.”
You cocked an eyebrow, taking another swig of your drink before you retorted, “Oh, I assume this is the part where you say that you knew all along?”
“Girlie, if you thought all that attitude from Ominis was just fashionable snark, I honestly don’t know what to tell you. Now, what I’m most curious about is – who gets to be on top?”
You let out a groan. “Merlin, I don’t want to think about that.”
“Oh, come on. Like you wouldn’t start dripping at the thought of two sweaty boys… right, Pops?”
“Oh, I am hardly qualified to comment,” Poppy deflected, quickly taking a sip from her drink as the tips of her ears started to glow crimson.
“I don’t know Mel,” you chuckled. “It sounds like you’re the one taking an awful lot of interest.”
Imelda growled. “Pussies, the both of ya. That’s all I get for spreading the seeds of love?”
“Aw, sounds like someone is in need of a hug,” you taunted, and before Imelda could stop you you were already on top of her, your hands searching for the spots you knew to be particularly ticklish. Imelda cursed at you, trying to push you off, but all those hours spent familiarizing yourself with her body had really paid off. Poppy chuckled as she watched the two of you struggle, the glimmer on her face betraying a light tipsiness. Eventually you relented and decided to release her, the both of you panting as you settled on opposite ends of the couch.
“Merlin’s Beard, MC,” Imelda grunted, though you hardly failed to notice the smile on her face, “if you want to get into my knickers, just tell me next time.”
“The night is still young,” you chuckled, wondering much of that was an actual promise rather than a mere joke. Despite your lack of intention to push anything tonight, it would have been difficult to ignore that the easy flow of the moment – the booze, the flirting, the suggestive jokes between you three – was giving rise to some… particularly charged energies. Still, you were determined not to push anything beyond the limits of your comfort; that was to say, Poppy’s.
After a few moments and another round of drinks, Imelda piped up, “Well, here’s a fun question. Most scandalous thing you’ve ever done?”
“Come on,” you said with a laugh and an eye roll, “aren’t you just trying to put Poppy on the spot again?”
“Maybe I am, or maybe I just like to see you get all riled up and defensive again. You’re pretty cute like that, you know?”
“I do have to agree,” Poppy chimed in. “Particularly when it’s on my account.”
You gave the Hufflepuff a look of disbelief while Imelda’s laugh rang through the chamber. “Poppy! I can’t believe you would just side with her like that,”
“Can’t fault her for speaking the truth,” Imelda piled on. “Besides, we both know you wouldn’t actually have anything serious to tell.”
“Excuse me. I’ll have you know that I have gotten up to plenty of kinky shenanigans in my time. In fact, just a few months ago, I touched myself –“ you paused a second for dramatic effect – ”in the library.”
Poppy looked at you with proper shock, but Imelda seemed considerably less impressed. “Please,” she scoffed, “that ain’t nothing. Try getting yourself off on a broom in the middle of a training session.”
You burst out in laughter. “Oh, fuck off. Did you really –?”
“Damn right I did. Ain’t no stopping me when I’m proper horny – I figured no one was paying much attention to me anyway, so I put some distance between myself and the rest and… well, the rest is history.”
Goodness gracious. As amusing as it was trying to imagine Imelda furiously rubbing away while she was shouting profanities at other players, it was hot as hell too.
“Anyway, Pops, I’m sure you have us beat,” Imelda said, turning to the Hufflepuff with a devilish smirk.
Poppy chuckled apprehensively. “I’m not quite sure about that, but… I suppose I’ve been up to some salacious misadventures of my own –”
Surprised as you were to see this bolder side of her, you were much more curious to see just what kind of misadventures she was talking about. Imelda, too, leaned in closer, despite making a halfhearted attempt to mask her interest with her usual nonchalance. “Well now girl, can’t leave us hanging like that. Spill the goods!”
“Okay, well, um –” Poppy shifted in her seat and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear – “so this was a while back… I was looking for someone, and in my attempt to find them, I accidentally stumbled across something I wasn’t really meant to see…”
Imelda perched her eyebrows. “You caught some people going at it in public?”
Poppy’s features took on a noticeably pinker hue. She offered just the tiniest of nods, causing the Slytherin to let out a laugh. “Well, colour me impressed! Turns out our innocent angel has a deviant side after all. Tell us, were you turned on?”
Poppy giggled nervously. “I… I suppose I was. It was all rather exciting; the thrill of witnessing something forbidden, the risk of being discovered… it… it was as if I was being a part of it, in a sense.”
Merlin’s Beard. You’d always seen Poppy as some supreme embodiment of innocence, so much so that discovering this perverse side of her did more to arouse you than you had been expecting. So many thoughts were occupying your mind all of a sudden that you didn’t even notice Imelda moving closer to you. “So…” she said with a cheeky smile, “would it turn you on if I did… this?”
Her lips smothered any hope you might have had of stopping her – not that you did. You entered a state of physical flux as she gave you the deepest, most sultry French kiss you’d ever had, your eyes closing as if guided by a will of their own. Merlin, how much you had longed for her, how could you have ever have willingly resisted her perfect taste –
Oh, that was right. With some effort, you broke the kiss, swallowing back a gasp. “Mel, wait, we can’t –”
“Oh, yes we can,” Imelda replied in a growl that gave you goosebumps all over. “She’s loving this. Aren’t you, Poppy?”
You turned your head to catch her response. Much to your surprise, the Hufflepuff seemed mesmerized, her eyes speaking the confession you maybe had deep down been wishing for all along.
Her head bobbed up and down, nodding.
A finger pulled your chin back to where your attention was sorely needed. Imelda’s breath was hot to your face, dark eyes lavishing every inch of you. “Come on, let’s give our girl a show.”
She kissed you again, this time running a hand up your body to give your breast a firm squeeze. You moaned into her mouth, your back arching as if to seek her touch. Oh Merlin, it was nothing short of perfect; she wanted you so badly, and you wanted her so badly as well…
Still, you found it in you to restrain yourself, turning to Poppy one more time. “Poppy… are you certain you want this to happen?”
Poppy shifted in her seat, flashing you a warm smile. “Yes, please. I would like to watch while you… make love to each other.”
Her voice was so sweet, so full of kindness… knowing that she wanted nothing more than for you to be happy and enjoy each other’s bodies was just the cherry on top. Reassured, you now started to meet Imelda’s wanting with your own, taking her face between your hands and crashing your lips into hers. Imelda groaned, pushing herself against you, fingers finding their way into your hair. Her teeth tugged at your bottom lip, nudging you apart, and then her tongue swept in, meeting yours as your heavy breaths and moistness started to mix. There was no need to guide you, no need to coax any sounds from you, for you were as least as hungry as she was; tasting her was like tasting water after a long, merciless drought.
You broke apart ever so slightly, allowing you to relish in your mutual anticipation as you looked at each other, each of you smiling under your heavy breath. Merlin, she was so beautiful, and you wanted to know her just how beautiful she was –
“I missed you,” you whispered to her, delighting in the way her body trembled at your words. It was rare to see such vulnerability from her, but you were nothing short of proud that you were the one making her feel this way.
She responded in kind, throwing herself back at you, once again letting her hands roam to fondle you through your blouse. Only the thin layer of fabric separated her expert touch from your sensitive breasts, her grip pulling a whimper from your lips as you lost any sense of restraint. It didn’t even occur to you that you should try to maintain a semblance of composure in front of Poppy; she wanted you to lose it, and you had a slight suspicion Imelda was as least as eager to put on a show as you were.
Her pillowy lips explored along your jawbone, then down your neck, leaving a trail of wet marks in their wake. You failed to restrain a lewd sigh from escaping you as you peered over at Poppy out of the corner of your eye. You almost couldn’t believe this was truly happening, that she was becoming part of your bond in this way. Just how much was it turning her on to see you like this? Was she taking pleasure in the sound of your moans, imagining the feeling of Imelda’s lips suckling on her neck? Was she picturing a day when she would be ready to share herself – all of herself with the two of you?
All of those sensual thoughts coincided with Imelda sliding a finger into your skirt, drawing another gasp from you as she chuckled against your throat. You could feel her exploring, her digit brushing past the tense delight that protruded from your swollen folds, wetness spilling from you as you buckled against her palm, crying out her name. “Mel…”
Imelda chuckled again, tenderly kissing a spot right below your ear. Around and around her finger went, teasing your clit just long enough to leave you begging for more as she retreated up your thigh again. “You’re such a good girl… all warm and wet for me, hm?” she whispered in a husky voice, though loud enough for Poppy to hear. You noticed one of the Hufflepuff’s hands had moved down to the front of her skirt, mimicking Imelda’s movements as she drew circles around where she was undoubtedly soaking right now.
“I didn’t know you were such a dirty little slut,” Imelda whispered, tugging seductively at your lobe. “You love being watched, don’t you? You love how she’s watching me doing this to you… you want to show her just what an obedient little bitch you are…”
Merlin, yes. Your teeth dug into your bottom lip as she spread you open, using her middle finger to paint your hole with slick. You cried into her shoulder, every part of your body crying out for release, for her to have her way with you and bare every inch for Poppy to behold. Sensing your desperation, Imelda pulled back ever so slightly to look you in the eye, cupping your face with one hand while the other worked your aching cunt. “Tell me, then,” she growled. “Tell me what you want.”
Your voice trembled as you tried to speak the words, “Please…eat…”
“Louder, dear.” She thumbed your clit, coaxing another cry from you. “Let her hear it.”
Swallowing, you mustered all your physical and mental strength to make your wish known. “Please… Mel… eat my pussy…”
A wicked smile played on her lips. “Hear that, Pops? She wants me to munch on her muff. Do you think she’s deserved it?”
“I suppose it would be cruel not to…” Poppy chuckled under her breath.
“Liar,” Imelda replied, though you noticed she was still smiling. “You just want to see her pussy, don’t you?” Turning her attention to you again, she brought up two fingertips that were coated in your slick. “Well, I guess I can’t blame you.” She never broke eye contact as she cleaned you off her fingers, the sparkle in her dark eyes making a shiver run down your back.
“Hm,” she hummed, “you taste delicious, dear. Maybe I should give you something after all.”
Before you could respond, you were suddenly thrown backwards. You let out a giggle as your back hit the cushions, Imelda rushing to wrestle your skirt down your thighs. Your moist heat only contained behind a layer of silky fabric was met with a gust of cool air, leaving you gasping for breath as Imelda pushed her nose into your damp crotch.
“Oh, yes,” she groaned as she inhaled your scent, “you smell so fucking good, love. I love how much your body is crying out for me. So fucking needy.”
You had to admit to feeling a little shock as she took your soaked underwear between her teeth and ripped them off with one swift tug. She had never been this fierce with you before, never so primal. You figured having an audience was bringing her drive to perform out in a stronger way than you had been expecting. Not that there were any complaints to be had; the way you were throbbing once your slick lips were bared to her ravenous gaze confirmed as much.
“Look at our poor girl,” Imelda cooed, pinching your folds between her digits, leaving you a soft whimpering mess. “What do you think of MC’s pussy, Pops?”
Poppy, positively hypnotized by the sight of you, ran her tongue past her lips as a wave of red crept up from her collar. You noticed her drooling a little as she responded, “She’s… exquisite –”
“Mmm, right. Such a pretty pink pussy.” Imelda used her hands to coax you further apart, the feeling of her proximity to your swollen heat eliciting the most desperate of cries from you. Her thumbs lightly caressed your skin as she leaned in, providing but a mere shred of relief as her breath tickled your clit. “So bloody sweet too.”
A flick of her tongue made your legs spasm. How fucking close you were to perfection – but you knew it wasn’t for you to make demands. She really wasn’t about to leave you hanging, not as she was about ready to damn well devour you, and not with another pair of eyes observing her every move…
You released a throaty moan as she lapped at you with a single, broad stroke. Imelda had eaten you out many times before, and yet she never failed to make every time she put her tongue on you feel new and special. You loved her so much, and you wanted her to give you the relief only she was capable of providing.
You breathed a sigh of happiness once she finally drove her tongue inside of you. She dutifully cleaned up the juices gathered around your fleshy curls before swirling her way inside, probing the tight hole. Your head fell back at the feeling of her, your lips mouthing a silent prayer, thanking the high heavens for giving you the attention of this lovely nymph.
You stole a glance at Poppy as Imelda continued slurping from your oozing honey-sweet treasure. One of her small palms was buried in her skirt, pumping underneath the fabric, while the other fondled her chest through her white blouse. Her face was gleaming with perspiration, her parted lips releasing a shallow panting that you could hear even over the sound of your own moaning. But it was through her eyes that you felt most strongly connected to her; those sweet, brown eyes, burning with a kind of lust you instantly were addicted to. No matter the physical distance of your bodies, she was becoming a part of you, feeling your pleasure, the pure release of ecstasy as if it were her own.
You decided to give her even more to appreciate, shedding the loose garment covering your torso. Poppy’s eyes widened at the sight of your full, round breasts, her gaze drawn to your sharp-pointed nipples, achingly hard from your arousal. You seductively bit your lip as you rolled one between your fingers, the physical pleasure only adding to the delight you felt at the cute little whimper she emitted.
Imelda must have noticed the increased flow of juices trickling from your slit, as she began lapping at you with greater fervour. You pushed away the black strands from her face, adoring the way her eyes would roll up to look at you as her tongue swept through your folds.
“You’re so fucking pretty, eating my pussy like that,” you whispered to her. She smiled at you before wrapping her lips around your clit, sucking on the nub while she eased a finger into you, taking over where her tongue had left off. You moaned as if something had possessed you, forehead creasing in desperate bliss as your hips started grinding against her face of their own volition. Even in your wildest dreams you would have never dared to imagine this scenario; your Imelda, committing herself fully to your pleasure, while your Poppy watched on, lost in her own haze of pure, unadulterated lust. The Hufflepuff was shedding all semblance of modesty as Imelda fucked you so well to your release, riding her hand, pushing her lips together in a largely futile effort to stifle her obscene cries of pleasure.
Imelda must have taken note too, for you felt the vibrations of her grunting deep inside your pussy. She was sucking with more strength now, no longer set on any intent but to make you come, hard. Your hips bucked as she added another finger, the digits sloshing in your essence, your walls tightening around her as you felt the familiar onset of naked release.
“Oh fuck, right there –” you gasped, encouraging her as she hit that perfect rhythm that was sure to bring about your orgasm. The room filled with wet sounds and sex-fueled moaning, each of you lost in your own sensual cadence. It was pure fucking depravity of the best sort, and it was about to reach its perfect climax –
Your body locked up as you finally reached that state of being that made your vision go white and your voice climb to inaudible heights. Imelda held you tightly while your orgasm washed over you, making sure you didn’t accidentally hurt yourself as your back rose from the couch and your limbs strained under the powerful release of your pure ecstasy. Your reward came to her in a gush of juices, which she swallowed greedily, only climbing up on top of you once she had fully licked you clean.
“Merlin’s Beard,” you sighed, “I think that’s the hardest I ever came –”
Imelda smiled, pressing a pleasantly you-flavoured kiss to your lips. “I think our little audience liked it as well.”
You both turned to look at Poppy, unable to resist a chuckle at the dishevelled figure splayed out on the armchair. She only managed a lopsided smile as she sighed, “That was… wonderful…”
Well fucked out as you were, you felt that Imelda was owed a little more than your pussy juices for her mind-blowing performance. You swept her lips up in yours once more before flashing her a smile. “Want me to return the favour?”
“I thought you’d never ask.” She took a moment to relieve herself of her own clothes, and of course, her deliciously bare form was just begging for your attention. So you spent a few minutes doing exactly that, kissing her freckled shoulders and cupping her smooth globes. It didn’t take her long to push you back onto the sofa, however. “Enough.” She positioned her athletic frame on top of you, allowing you to lovingly drink in the glorious nakedness of your Slytherin goddess as she made her intentions plain. “I hope you’re ready, love, because I’m going to ride that pretty mouth of yours until I’m cumming and screaming your name.”
Gods yes, there was nothing else you wanted more, as if servicing her was all you were made for. You watched in anticipation as she lifted herself on her knees, remembering to take a deep breath just before she mounted your face. Her slick folds met your lips, the taste of her arousal drowning out all of your other senses. Merlin, she would be the death of you someday…
You probed carefully, trying to find a pace that would satisfy her, though she swiftly began grinding on her own accord. “I didn’t ask you to go easy on me, girl. Stop fucking about.”
Fair enough. You seized her hips, holding her in place as you drove your tongue inside of her. Her reaction was mostly invisible to your eyes, but judging by the earth-shattering groan she emitted and the way you were suddenly drowning in her juices, you figured you were doing something right.
Content with her response to your ministrations, you settled into a nice pace, flicking your tongue up and down her slit while you paid close attention to the sounds she was making. Her fingers gripped into your hair, holding you steady as she rocked her hips into you. “Right there…” she moaned, “fucking eat me like the good girl you are…”
You hummed against her clit, lapping at her like a greedy little pup. A delightful shiver tickled your skin at the menacing chuckle she emitted, this time directed at Poppy. “You like watching us, girlie? You like how I’m riding this precious mouth you like kissing so much? You want me to see come all over those pretty fucking lips?”
Good grief. Even if you weren’t the intended audience in this scenario, Imelda was doing an awfully good job at turning you on. You tried very hard not to lose rhythm as she continued her taunting, worried that any drop in pace might cause her to stop.
“Maybe I’ll let you come over and clean her up when I’m through with her,” she chuckled under her breath. “It would be so hot to see you two make out… tasting me on her lips… fuck, even thinking about it is getting me so wet –”
Yeah, you could tell. You were starting to feel lightheaded, and not merely because of the excess of Imelda trickling down your chin. Though you kept the pace, not wanting to disappoint your lover.
“Oh yes,” Imelda cursed, “I see you touching yourself. You’re wishing it was you she was fucking, aren’t you? You’re thinking about it… having her tongue inside of you… seeing those beautiful eyes look up at you while she’s completely devoting herself to making you cum…”
Enough. You could honestly listen to Imelda egging on Poppy for hours, but a mischievous part of you was very eager to knock the so-called Queen of Quidditch down a perch. So you decided to shift gears, grabbing her arse, nails burying themselves into her toned cheeks while you started properly fucking her senseless.
Her reaction was beyond satisfying. From your place between her thighs, you had a perfect view of the delightful sway of her breasts and the desperate expression on her face as her taunting gave way to the lewdest moans you’d ever managed to elicit from her. You had successfully moulded her into a creature of nothing but pure pleasure, wiping every rational thought from her mind as she rode you fiercely, desperate to claim any bit of physical relief you had to offer. And you were keen to provide. You kept tongue-fucking her, nuzzling her clit until your vision blurred and the sounds ringing in your ears were nothing but the combined gasps of your two lovers.
It was only a matter of time before Imelda came crashing over the edge, collapsing on top of you as she screamed “I love you both!” at the top of her lungs. You were smothered with her honey, your senses straining as your body cried out for oxygen. The following moments were more or less a dizzy haze as you felt Imelda’s weight shift off your face, spotty colours filling your vision.
It took you a while before you managed to regain control of your senses, opening your eyes to Imelda’s glorious visage, her flushed cheeks framed by her damp black hair. A hint of concern had been visible in her eyes, though it quickly dissipated as she flashed you a loving smile. “There you go. Seems as if you’d almost passed out for a minute – sorry about that.”
“Honestly, suffocating between your thighs is the only way I would want to go,” you sighed contentedly, causing her to chuckle as she crawled on top of you and planted a tender kiss on your lips. “That was amazing, dear. I didn’t know you could be so… fierce.”
“I will admit I had an incentive to put on a good performance.” You turned to the other presence in the room. “Are you all right, Poppy?”
Poppy barely managed to raise her head to look at you, looking positively even more like a mess after her second orgasm. “Never… better…” she muttered, before falling back again.
You let out a giggle as you turned back to Imelda, who met you in another sweet kiss. “What about you?” she asked. “Happy?”
“Happy,” you replied with an eager nod.
