Ok hear me out, Reader is besties with Gojo and Geto and was paired with them to deliver the Star Plasma Vessel(Riko) and Readers notices how the girl's passing seemed to take a toll on Geto the most, so after seeing his decreasing health, both physical and mental, they decided to reach out to him and pull him out of his dark thoughts. Yes I am in denial about the recent chapters, this is how I cope. This man deserves all the hugs in the world😭😭
★ - 'm totally agree! all Satoru had ta do was speak with Suguru 'n JJK probably wouldn't have happened !! <(_ _)>
☆ - Teen! Geto Suguru x Male Reader — Can be read as platonic or romantic !!
♡ - Hurt/comfort, suicidal thoughts, and Suguru bein' mildly racist towards non-sorcerers (;′⌒`)
The merging of the Star Plasma Vessel— Riko Amanai— and Tengen went to shit the second Fushiguro Toji came into the picture.
You tried, you tried saving her even though you were scared. No one could touch Satoru, but Toji could. Toji killed him and Riko like it was nothing.
You and Suguru weren't enough, he was too strong. When he killed Rainbow Dragon, Suguru's strongest curse, the reality set in that you two most likely weren't going to make it out alive.
You did, thankfully, but at what cost?
Your quaint little friend group broke up. Shoko was busy learning medical Jujutsu most of the time, Satoru had officially become the strongest and started taking solo missions which left you and Suguru.
But after that day, you noticed something was wrong. Very, very wrong. Suguru had lost weight, his hair which he prided himself in taking care of had split ends and was mildly greasy and he had eye bags.
This also added to the fact that he was coming late to class almost every day sent alarm bells in your head, so you decided to check up on him.
In your home clothes since you didn't have any impending missions and classes were over, you knocked on Suguru's door. He's stopped coming to class the past few days which scared the shit out of you since Suguru doesn't miss class unless it's something serious.
You waited, hoping to hear an answer. When you didn't, you checked the doorknob. It was open so you walked in, announcing yourself just in case Suguru was busy with something.
His room was a mess. The trash can was overflowing, clothes were piled up in a corner and dishes were stacked on the sink.
Suguru was curled up in his bed—which was also a mess, sheets that needed to be washed and his bed was in desperate need of a making— his blanket pulled up to his neck and his body facing away from the doorway.
"Suguru?" You whispered, checking his breathing just in case. It was there and stable, which meant he was just sleeping. You gently tapped on him, noticing the soft tear lines on his cheek.
He had cried himself to sleep.
Suguru stirred as his eyes opened slowly, blinking away the tiredness when he saw your concerned face. "[Name]..? What are you doing here?"
"I came to check on you. You haven't been in class, so I got worried. Are you okay?"
Suguru sat up and rubbed his eyes. He didn't realize he'd been gone for that long, it felt better to stay asleep than wake up. Some days he wished he stayed asleep forever.
"Sorry, I lost track of time." He came up with a lie off the top of his head, hoping you wouldn't question anything and leave him alone.
He knows you though. Knows how empathetic you are, knows how caring you are to the people you love, so it was no surprise when you sat on his bed making yourself comfortable. "Are you okay, Suguru?"
"I told you, I just lost track of time—"
"Suguru..." Your voice was soft as you took his hands into yours. Usually, his were well-manicured and painted black, but now they were long. Suguru hated it when his nails were long, they always got in the way when he was fighting curses. "You don't have to lie to me, you don't have to say anything you don't want to. Please, just tell me if you need help and I'll help you. I won't ask for anything more."
Suguru tensed up. Does he need help? He hasn't felt like himself ever since... everything happened a few months ago. The world felt so grey and he couldn't think of a reason to keep waking up and getting out of bed.
So what if those monkeys needed saving? Sorcerers shouldn't have to put their lives on the line to save people who were barely worth saving.
He feels sluggish. He reeks, his hair feels so greasy and his eyes are heavy. He just wants to lie down and hopefully take his last breath. He can't keep doing this— be a sorcerer that is.
He hates morals, he hates that 'the strong should protect the weak' bullshit, he hates that he wasn't strong enough to protect someone who needed saving, someone who deserved it.
He's so tired. Tired of the Jujutsu world, tired of the fake lies of non-sorcerers, tired of everything.
"...please." He mutters out, his hands slightly squeezing yours and his head hanging in shame.
You nod as you help him up. You don't need to tell him anything right now. If he needs you, if he needs your help, that's all that matters.
You start a bath and help him get undressed, closing your eyes for the sake of his privacy when you got to his boxers.
The water was warm against your legs, and you thanked yourself that you wore shorts instead of sweats. You washed him, taking extra care of his hair to show him you remembered how much he loved it. Show him how much you care about him.
You leave him momentarily to grab clean clothes, settling on an old Mario shirt, black shorts, and a pair of fuzzy white and black socks.
"Do you want to stay here while I clean?" You asked as you tied his hair into a loose ponytail, the smell of his cinnamon shampoo in the air.
Suguru shook his head. He wanted—no— needed to stay close to you. To hold you, to feel someone else's warmth against his. You didn't ask any questions, letting him hold onto your waist as you went to make his bed.
He stayed like that, pressed against you as you sorted his clothes, cleaned his kitchen, swept his floor, helped him take care of his nails, and him made him food.
Suguru doesn't feel like he deserves this. He doesn't deserve you. You're being so patient with him, you aren't judging him for being messy or unclean, you weren't judging the fact that his fridge was almost empty, you were just there.
There for him, to make him feel better.
Suguru feels like he's going to cry.
He's pressed against your chest, hands wrapped around your waist as he listens to you read aloud a book you had brought with you, hands in his hair, scratching his scalp gently.
"...thank you." He mumbles, wiping the wet away from his eyes. He feels so loved, like someone would care if he flat out died.
You smile softly, pressing a kiss against his head. "I'm always going to be here for you Suguru. No matter what."
And for the first time in months, he believes that it's worth it to live. That if he gets to feel you like this, he might stay in the Jujutsu world. All for you— everything for you.

Curious what people's thoughts are about this.
So multiple times in passing Jean mentions something that happens after his SA in Jan.
It kinda sounds like Riko found out that Zane had let Grayson SA Jean and enacted revenge on them. Possibly he forced Zane to beat up Grayson in return? Although there is a dark eye for an eye mentality in the Nest so I wouldn't be surprised if Riko forced Zane to SA Grayson in return as some perverted justice.
I was a bit surprised Riko had done anything at all though because I didn't think Riko was the kind of person who cared enough to enact revenge on Jean's behalf. Especially when he also forced Jean to sleep with multiple Ravens against his will his freshman year. It made me wonder if Riko did actually care about Jean in some twisted way? Or was it just because he couldn't stand other people hurting his property? Or was he protecting his own skin because the master would have been angry that Riko had let this happen under his watch and this was his way of teaching Grayson not to do it again?

Goodbye Suguru
Geto Suguru x fem!reader Word count:2.1k Warnings:Major injuries, blood loss, swearing, angst at the end, but some fluff in between Summary: You didn´t see Suguru since he left you and your friends on that fateful day after Riko´s death. But when you and Satoru take in a new student, he suddenly seems to be interested again…
Masterlist
Your heart was beating at an ungodly speed, your breath was going fast and your limbs hurt from exorcising so many cursed spirits. But you had to make it in time, you just had to. Satoru was too busy, you knew he wouldn't make it back to Jujutsu Tech in time.
But you could make it.
You just hoped that your students would be alright. That they would be alive. You knew what Suguru was capable of and he wouldn't hesitate to kill kids, especially someone like Maki who was born without cursed energy.
Your train of thoughts came to a sudden halt as you finally reached the familiar school grounds. You didn't even have to enter, as you already saw the damage from outside. Huge parts of the main buildings were entirely destroyed. But you could only guess whose deeds these were.
You quickly made your way towards a nearby alley, which was a shortcut to the main site. To say that you were surprised by who you met there, would be an understatement.
"You're late.”, Suguru said,”Even though I didn't expect you here, Y/N.”
You didn't say anything, too busy staring at him, or rather the right side of his body. You saw that his arm had been blown off, which gave you a little bit of Hope that at least Yuta would be alive.
“To think you'd be the one here at my end.”, he continued without waiting for an answer,”Is my family safe?” You were a bit taken aback by his question, but answered nonetheless:”Everyone of them managed to escape. The ones in Kyoto were under your orders too, right?”
Suguru only smiled at you, leaning further into the wall he was sitting against:”Yeah, unlike you, I'm a kind Person.” You could only scoff at his words, choosing not to answer him.
”You and Satoru sent those two assuming that I`d defeat them, didn't you? To set Okkotsu off”, Suguru finally asked.
You sighed:”We…I trusted you. Trusted that a man as principled as you wouldn't kill off young sorcerers without a reason.”
“Trust, huh?”, he grinned,” I didn't think I still had any of that left.”
His words almost made you tear up. Even though you put on a tough demeanor in front of him, it still pained you to see him like this. Only a shell of the man he once was. The man you once loved.
Upon hearing your silence, Suguru lifted his remaining arm and threw a card at you:”Return this for me, will you?” You briefly looked at it and realized that it was Yuta´s student ID card. “Was the elementary school your doing too?”, you asked quietly, finally connecting all the dots in your head.
“Yeah.”, Suguru mumbled, not seeming to care about the children that he put in danger.
“I can't believe you.”, you hissed under your breath,”Do you have any last words?”
You were bluffing. Both you and Suguru knew that you couldn't kill him. For once you had used up too much of your cursed energy in the fight at Shinjuku and secondly, you knew that you could never work up the courage to kill the man you once loved, maybe still did.
Nevertheless, Suguru decided to answer like you were in fact about to kill him:”No matter what anyone says, I hate those monkeys. But I never held any hatred for those in Jujutsu High. I just couldn´t wear a heartfelt smile in this world.”
You only looked at him for a couple of seconds before deciding on your answer. You took a few steps forward, kneeling in front of him. You trusted that he wouldn't try to harm you in any way. That at least a small part of him that loved you, was still there.
“Suguru.”, you finally said. A newfound calmness in your voice, that even surprised the man in front of you. His head shot up, his big eyes looking at you expectantly. But you only smiled at him, raising your hand to softly caress his face. Suguru breathed in deeply before finally leaning into your touch.
“Like old times, eh?”, he asked, now also smiling. “Oh, Su. I wish it was. Believe me, I do.”, you mumbled, the smile on your face fading,”You remember the day where you kissed me for the first time?”
“As clear as day.”, he immediately answered.
You thought it would be easy. You always did. After all, you had Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru at your side. Apart from your own skills as a Jujutsu Sorcerer. If you even added Shoko Ieiri to the picture, you were basically unstoppable. But unfortunately, you were rarely sent in groups of four, so you were stuck with the two men at an abandoned Villa right now.
More specifically, you ended up leaning against a wall, with a massive hole in your chest, trying not to bleed out. It was only now that you realized how smart this cursed spirit was. It had forced you to split up from each other and with the help of a partly executed domain expansion, it was able to lure you deeper into it´s trap, until it had worn you out enough to land a fateful blow on you.At this point, you could only hope that Suguru and Satoru were alright. You were almost sure that Satoru was already on his way to find you and Suguru. His technique made him almost invincible.
“Ahfuck.”, you mumbled, as you came to a sudden halt. Your vision was getting blurry and you weren't sure if you could keep walking forward. Looking back, you saw the dark red splotches of Blood you had left behind on the floor and wall. You tried to pull yourself together to keep going forward. You had already tried to conduct cursed energy towards your wound, to keep it from bleeding too much. But you were already on edge, your cursed energy was about to run out and the fact that you were on the verge of dying didn't make anything better.
"Y/N?! Are you there!?”
Your head shot up, upon hearing Suguru´s voice. A small spark of hope bloomed inside of you, causing your body to start moving again. You slowly stepped forward again, trying to reach the hall that was laying in front of you.
“Su-Suguru?!”, you tried to yell, but immediately doubled over in pain.“Y/N? Where are you?”, you heard him ask again.
You continued to stumble forward, until your legs finally gave in. With a thud you landed on the wooden floor. The impact knocking the air out of your lungs. A few coughs left your lips, as you tried to push yourself up again, but it was useless. If Suguru or Satoru couldn´t find you, you would die at this place.
“Y/N!!”
You looked up and there he was. The boy you were madly in love with, but were too shy to ever tell him.
“Su…”, you mumbled, paying the nickname no further thought, as he sprinted over to you. Without hesitation, Suguru lifted your head onto his lap, pulling your body closer to his.
“What did you get yourself into again, Y/N?”, he mumbled, as he put his hand on top of your wound. You gasped, as you felt how he sent cursed energy through your body, helping you to deal with the blood loss.
“I knew that you'd come and save me”, you smiled,”My knight in shining armor.”
You saw how Suguru´s cheeks slightly reddened, as he glanced away for a second, probably scanning the room for any cursed spirits.
“That would probably be Satoru, don´t you think?”, he finally said, looking back down at you.
“No.”, you said, without thinking,”It's always been you, Su.”
Suguru´s eyes widened as he realized what you meant, but it was too late. He didn't have time to answer, as you already slipped into Unconsciousness.
“No! Y/N!? Wake up! Come on, you have to stay awake for me!!”, was all that Satoru heard, as he finally found Suguru, holding your unconscious body.
It took you longer to wake up than Suguru could handle. He was at your side day and night. Basically neglecting himself entirely. So, naturally, you had to wake up after Shoko sent him away to get a shower and a proper night of sleep.
He made his way to you, almost instantly after Satoru scrambled into his room to tell him the good news. The white haired man had of course talked with you before. Obviously making sure you were okay, you were one of his closest friends after all. But he also told you how Suguru had acted after you lost your Consciousness. The way he never left your side, until Shoko had kicked him out of your room.
“Y/N? Are you okay?”, was the first thing Suguru said upon entering your room. You were sitting on your bed, eying him carefully. He didn't wear his uniform, but instead was clothed into a black jumper and sweatpants. His hair was slightly disheveled but apart from that, it looked like it always did. The most obvious thing were the dark circles under his eyes that betrayed him.
“I'm alright.”, you finally said,”Thank you for saving me, Suguru.”
He visibly relaxed at your words, as he finally walked over to you, sitting down on the bed next to your smaller form.
“You scared the shit out of me.”, he admitted, after a few seconds of silence.
“I´m sorry.”, you mumbled, leaning your head onto his shoulder.
You felt how Suguru carefully put his arm around you:”Don't be. You're alive, that's all that matters.”
“I…I have to tell you something.”, you stuttered, looking up at him. His brown eyes lingered on you lovingly.
“It´s okay.”, he smiled,”I know, my love.”
The nickname made your heart skip a beat, as he softly grasped your face, caressing your cheek lovingly. You felt the warmth of his body next to you, his shallow breath on your skin and you swore, you could almost hear his heart beating as loud as your own.
“Can I kiss you?”, he finally asked, his gaze shifting from your eyes towards your lips.
“Please.”, you said, before his lips collided with yours. The kiss was sweet and short, but emotional. You could feel how relieved Suguru was to have you back. That you were alive and breathing.
“I'm never going to let anything happen to you again.”, he mumbled against your lips, after you parted. A small smile made its way onto your face:”Same goes for you.”
He chuckled at your words. You never talked about it, but you knew that he was by far
stronger than you.
Instead of saying anything, Suguru chose to simply kiss you again.
“It could be like that again.”, Suguru mumbled, putting his hand on top of yours,”Just you and me against the rest of the world.”
“You know it will never be like that again.”, you mumbled,”Not after what you did.”
“Please my love”, he begged, squeezing your hand,”After everything I did in my life, leaving you behind is the only thing I regret.”
“I know, Su.”, you said, trying to keep your emotions at bay,”But I can never join you. I could never help you do such cruel things.”
A short silence came up between you two, before you decided on your next words.
“My eyes see Suguru Geto in front of me. But my heart knows that he is not the Man I once loved.”
You watched as a sad smile formed on Suguru´s face, as his hand, that was previously holding yours, fell to the ground. “Then allow me to ask you for one last thing.”, he muttered, his eyes focused on the ground.
You only nodded, awaiting his request.
“Please, my love. Allow me to kiss you one last time, before we part ways forever.”, he quietly asked.
This time, you couldn't help the tears that rolled down your face, as you leaned forward to connect your lips with his. You tasted blood on him, a sign that he was severely hit this time. But you also felt his passion. He knew that this was the end, so he poured everything he had into this one last kiss. And so did you.
And then the moment ended.
You parted from him and immediately rose back to your feet again. You looked down on him one last time, before you turned around to find your students.
“Goodbye, Suguru.”

Saki K x Mob Psycho 100 crossover
⚠️!! BEWARE OF CRINGE !!⚠️
(EDIT: This was like 3 years ago and I decided to finish this now so here you go anyway)
And Saiki is transfem here
Both Kuriko and Mob are Aroace and are in a QPR (Queer Platonic Relationship)
They moved out of their houses in their 3rd year of highschool and moved in together in an apartment at Canada
The both of them are seen as neutral introverts who don't smile often/rarely smiles but that changed when they tried to hangout out more with other people
Yes, Kuriko was willing to hangout. Kind off
They're now 22(Mob) and 23(Kuriko) yrs old, still on College
They're both a mix of lawful good and chaotic evil
Pure evil as the main dish with chaos on the side
They're the most self-controlled people you'll ever see on your entire life but would cause a Volcanic Eruption with a tornado on the side if they want to
They did that once
Kuriko likes to talk shit about everyone while Mob is there apologising to everyone
He does agree on some of them, some people they met are asses who could rot for all Kuriko cares
They do beauty stuff together<3
They have movie nights in their apartment every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday
Shigeo does Kuriko's nails while Kuriko does Shigeo's hair
They call eachother nicknames
Kuriko normally calls Shigeo "Shig" "Geo" and occasionally "Mob"
Shigeo calls Kuriko "Kuri" "Riko" and "Rii"
They rarely use honorifics for eachother
Hometown visit headcanons below
They visited their hometowns and went to Hidari Wakibara first
First it was Kuriko's parents. Kuriko is done with their embarrassing shit really
Kusuke and Kuriko's grandparents, who were temporarily living with Kuri's parents were delighted enough to tell Mob embarrassing stories when she was still a kid
Kuriko is ready to slam her face to the core of the Earth.
But in all seriousness, they were surprised when they saw how happy Kuriko is with Shigeo
They're happy that their youngest family member is finally opening up to other people
Kuriko and Shigeo were supposed to go to Cafe Mami but Kuriko's friends (or they proclaimed to be[kuriko thinks their her friends but doesn't admit it dw]) spotted them on their way there
Insert a sobbing Kiado, Nendou's "hey it's buddy!" and everyone else's "Saiki!"
Ah, sweet Deja Vu
Kuriko introduced Mob to them and they were happy that Kuriko has a friend to help taking care of her
They all went to Cafe Mami and talk about what they were doing for the past 6 years
They were surprise that Kuriko was being a little bit more social than normal but they were also glad since they know that she was finally opening up to other people
But what really surprised them the most is their physical touch
They know that Kuriko isn't the type to like physical touch, nonethless PDA
They were flabbergasted when Shigeo casually rested his arm onto Kuriko's and she looks like she doesn't even care
And the fact that she did the same thing
As much as they want to cry tears of joy, they held it in.
Except for Hairo, y'know how he is
When they split paths, the group finally let out their tears
Kuriko and Shigeo stayed overnight the Saiki household and left to Seasoning City the next day
Ritsu fucking sobbed
He wouldn't let go of Shigeo when they visited, completely forgetting about Kuriko's existence
But hey at least the Kageyama parents are there so Kuriko isn't ignored anymore hoorayyy!!
Shigeo's parents adores Kuriko
They know that Shigeo doesn't have a lot of female friends so it's a relief that he got Kuriko as a friend to take care of him
Not too peaceful but peaceful nonethless
Shigeo and Kuriko decided to stroll around for a bit
Kuriko likes Seasoning City
Though it's known to have a lot of espers and ghosts and spirits sightings, it's a lot more peaceful unlike Hidari Wakibara
They went to MobMcDonalds for take out and went to "Spirits and Such Consultation Office" to visit Reigen, Serizawa, and Dimple
What they didn't know is that the whole Telepathy Club was there too, and their takeout was only good for 5 people only
Tome was the most ecstatic while Inukawa was the most emotional when Shigeo entered the office
Kuriko's presence is once again, ignored.
"Hey Shigeo, who's the pinkette?"
Thank you Dimple, you're a life saver
Shigeo introduced Kuriko as his friend and college + appartment roomate back at Canada
Reigen said something about Shigeo talking about Kurkio a few times in chat and facetime
Shigeo shut him up by slapping his mouth shut
They were happy that Shigeo has a friend to take care of him
They went outside to hangout to catch up about things then bumped into the ex-Awekening Lab members along with
Teruki latched himself onto Shigeo like a parasite that even Ritsu couldn't get him off.
And oh, would you look at that, Kuriko isn't ignored this time!
Ritsu recognized and called out to Kuriko when he was trying to get Teruki off his brother
Teruki finally let go when Shigeo introduced Kuriko
Teruki just wanted to tease him by jokingly saying if Kuriko is his girlfriend (he doesn't know why but it pains him to say that)
Kuriko and Shigeo grimanced at this. They looked at eachother, then back to the rest
Kuriko is an Aroace Sapphic while Shigeo is an Aroace Pansexual
So it feels pretty wrong because Shigeo knew that Kuriko isn't into him and about the fact that she's into girls more
Teruki apologized for the joke but couldn't help but feel a strange feeling of relief and satisfaction
They hangout for a while at the park and were awestruck about Shigeo's and Kuriko's dynamic
Shigeo looks like he enjoys Kuriko's company, the same thing goes to Kuriko. Shigeo may smile a lot, but his smile is normally small. But right now, Shigeo's smile is a lot more bigger than how they remembered. Heck he's even laughing and he doesn't laugh a lot.
The scene is enough for them to believe that Shigeo is in good hands. They knew that Kuriko wouldn't do anything bad to Shigeo and vice versa.
Shigeo and Kuriko stayed overnight at the Kageyama household and went back the park the next day
This time, they bumped into the Body Improvement club
Just by taking one look at the Body Improvement club and you can already tell that they aren't the emotional type
Except that's all lies
The club literally sobbed. They sobbed harder than the whole theater watchers when they were watching Titanic.
They hangout and you know the drill
Shigeo and Kuriko needed to go back to Canada
They intended to stay a bit longer but an emergency came so they had to go back to Canada
Everyone sent their goodbyes sobbing is heard and lalalalala they went to the plane and flew back to Canada even if they damn well know Kuriko could just teleport them back but no
That's all of it thank yous for reading<3333

How would Kuroko and Kagami act if they both realized they have a crush on the same girl. She's new to their school and keeps to herself but they each get to know her separately and they both start to get feelings and then they start to talk about it and realize they like the same girl.
Kuroko + Kagami - crush on same girl
The bell rang, signalling the end of class, and the teacher futilely tried to keep the students a moment long to dispense important information on assignments in one ear and out the other.
"Are you heading to practice Kagami-kun?" Kuroko asked as he collected his notes.
"Yeah. Yeah." The red head confirmed, but seemed dodgey about it. "There's just something I have to do first."
"Oh?" Kuroko replied. Surprised that his teammate wasn't already sprinting to practice. "That's rare you have something more important to do."
"It's not....more important." Kagami began (lied) as he rubbed the back of his neck. His avertive gaze making Kuroko more suspicious. "I'll just see you at practice. I gotta go." And with that he sped out the door; or making it just looked that way with his stupidly long legs.
Kuroko watched him leave, then shrugged. It was odd. But not the oddest thing Kagami had ever done, so no point in being concerned about it. He pulled his bag on and left the classroom at his normal, leisurely pace. Without Kagami he could take his time getting to practice. And if he took the long way, he could run into [Y/N] getting out of class.
Tetsu smiled a little at the thought. He shared a few classes with [Y/N], but it wasn't enough. He liked being around them all the time. Listening to their opinion on subjects in class, or books they were reading. He knew he had feelings for them, but not sure if they were enough to confess or if they would like him back. So just being around them was enough for now.
He walked towards the back courtyard, excited to 'run into' his crush, when he spotted the bright red carrot top only familiar with Kagami. 'what's he doing here?' Kuroko thought. Then noticed he started to look up and get that look in his eye that the blue haired boy thought only reserved for basketball. "H-hey [Y/N]!"
"Hello Kagami! Fancy meeting you out here. Kind of out of the way for practice? Are you and Kuroko trying a long route for some kind of training or something?"
Kagami looked confused. Then looked around and spotted his teammate beside him. Surprised, and perhaps ashamed, clouding his face in a manner Kuroko didn't care for. "We were just taking the scenic route."
[Y/N] giggled, and both boys seemed to perk up at the sound. "Well, good luck with that. Not much to see this time of year. You better hurry though. Before RIko has your hides."
"Y-yeah...yeah..." Kagami agreed. Rubbing the back of his neck for the second time that day. "We should get to practice. You're coming to th game right?" He asked. His expression like an excited, expectant puppy.
"Of course!" Both boys smile. "I wouldn't miss either of you playing. I have my poster board all picked out for my sign and everything!" They gave a little fist bump in the air, and Kuroko thought he had never seen something so adorable in his life. "Well, I better let you go. Practice hard! If you win, we should all go to MB to celebrate."
[Y/N] trotted off. Leaving a big whole of sunlight in their world, and a big gap in the conversation they should talk about.
"We should get to practice." Kagami said. Breaking the silence as he pulled his bag tighter.
"Yeah." Kuroko agreed. "Don't want to be late."
Neither of them talk about it or anything else for the rest of practice. Both aware of what was going on, but both not wanting to betray their partnership any more than they had by stealing the other man's girl.

Why Kevin Day is the most in-depth character in the All For the Game series
An essay by a Kevin stan, so you know it's at least 70% biased
Hello, hello everyone, welcome to another session of me, brainwashing you about the amazingness of Kevin Day. In this short essay, I'll discuss how our number Queen asshole striker is, in fact, not just a whiney bitch, but one of the most key characters in the AFTG series. I'll also discuss how Nora pretty much did him dirty and how much I appreciate the fandom for doing him better.
I've decided that it will be much easier to take things chronologically, so I can delve deeper into what makes Kevin the character whose stans won't shut up about.
Unlike the rest of the characters in the series, Kevin started off in a somewhat stable family condition. He was brought up by his mother, Kayleigh, but still probably had to live with the title 'Son of Exy' from the moment he was born. We've all witnessed what being on the spotlight from a young age has done to child stars. Kevin, upon growing up, would start feeling the burden of a whole legacy created by his mother. Because Exy, despite being a bastard sport, has a large fanbase around the US, and possibly further - since it's mentioned that it's also an Olympic sport.
It wouldn't be a surprise that Kevin more than likely looked up to his mother and wanted to play Exy for her. Suddenly though, Keyleigh died in a car accident (if it was even a car accident; knowing the Moriyamas, it could had been done on purpose) and left Kevin in the care of Tetsuji Moriyama, the head of one of the yakuza's branches, and his now adoptive brother Riko.
Let's be honest, both of them were just kids. They only had each other, so it was really easy to get attached. Kevin has lost his mother at this point and Tetsuji is not exactly a proper father figure, so Kevin had to cling on Riko. Despite us seeing him in the main timeline being an asshole who snaps at everyone, his willingness to submit into the position of 'number 2' even if he's better than Riko, shows how much he depends emotionally on people. Riko and Kevin had to meet certain expectations, had fans from a very young age, and Neil even mentions that he literally witnessed Kevin grow up from media outlets and coverages. Kevin had to stick close to the only other person who's going through the same thing.
As a result, it was easy for Kevin to focus on what he's taught to believe; he should aim for the stars, he should be good, great, but never the best. Because Riko is the best. Kevin accepts that.
I hate how people call him a spineless coward just because someone mentions it once in the book. Kevin isn't like Neil. Neil was given a chance to escape. Kevin could never escape Evermore. Even if he did consider it his home, he was still abused on a daily basis. Riko mentions in Raven King, when he's about to torture Neil, that Neil is basically in the same position as Kevin once had been:
People forget that, Kevin probably had to live through what Neil did ever since Riko turned into his fucked up self. Which literally means years of physical and mental abuse, with no hope of escape but the bright future he had ahead of him. So what did Kevin do? He focused on playing.
Stop making Kevin all about being an Exy freak or an alcoholic. Kevin was so obsessed with Exy because it's the only thing he has ever known. He probably couldn't even drink before he escaped Evermore.
Imagine being torn between loving and clinging on the boy you once called brother because it's the only family you've known, and being hurt by him, again and again at a later age, having him shatter all you think you are good at. Riko didn't just break Kevin's hand. He almost took away from him all he thought he had left, and possibly the only way Kevin had of feeling close to his mother.
Kevin loses all he's ever known, and he blames himself for it at first because he thinks it's his fault that he even dared to show he could be better than Riko. He's in pieces and the only thing he does is to cling yet on another person. Aka Andrew. And somehow like this, we come back to the point about Kevin not only being far from an emotionless asshole, but actually being the most emotionally attached character in the series.
Entering the timeline of the books, Kevin appears as the epitome of a narcissistic asshole. It's fair for someone (as a reader) to not like him at first, when we don't know all that much about him. But as the story unravels, a clear distinction is made:
Kevin is not a narcissist. He's egocentric.
Kevin knows and truly believes he's the center of attention. Because, admittedly, he is. The books could had easily had Kevin as the protagonist. Like mentioned before, being raised on the spotlight, has had a tremendous impact on how he sees himself. He's obsessed with what image he's presenting to the public. I don't think he said 'being heterosexual is easier' without a reason. Kevin has led a life full of suppression. He can flash a 'press smile' for the cameras, he can snap and be cold at the Foxes, when in reality, he's suffering from severe PTSD, with panic attacks that he's handling in the worst way possible:
Alcohol. Why? Because the Foxes are all assholes and hypocrites. Don't get me wrong, I love them. But the fact that they just ignored Kevin everytime he had a panic attack and simply thrusted a bottle of vodka his way and called it a day? Inexcusable. Kevin needed a lot more than that.
Oh jeez, I wonder why he didn't tell Wymack he was his father all along.
If I see another person saying that Kevin was an ass for not telling Wymack straight up, I might slap a bitch. Do you think that Kevin would have been able to handle another rejection, another loss of a parental figure? All he did, was in self defense. Yes, it was selfish, but it was probably the only time in his life he could really make a choice on his own.
But you know what? Kevin overcame all this. Maybe and most probably not completely, he will never be able to wash away some stains, but he became more confident and emotionally independent. He detached himself both from Riko and from Andrew, and became the best striker in the history of Exy.
One of the reasons why I love Neil and Kevin - especially Kevin - is because their healing journeys are more fleshed out than Andrew's. But in this case, Kevin's was not really given the attention it deserved, it happened on the side lines and he had to do it alone. Neil had the foxes, had Wymack and Andrew. Kevin had no one, because the foxes, despite being assholes themselves, kept dismissing him and his problems. I really do believe that, in the first drafts when Kandreil was canon, Nora had potentially explored his character more. I wish we had gotten that instead of this sloppy attempt to squeeze in his ark along with Neil's.
I'll end this with some highlights that also showcase how badass Kevin is. He's a mess, but he does grow some spine when he finally becomes his own person:
Oof, if you actually read through this, thank you for tolerating my probably incoherent thoughts. I actually barely scratched the surface of my thoughts on Kevin's character but for now, this will do.

he's usually bruised ; no getting past that. even when he was getting into fights, he was doing karate or basketball. both of which, took a toll on the human body and both of which could leave bruises. this time though, they had surprised him and he had /tried/ to warn them as they were attacking him to let him go and he wouldn't hurt them too bad. they didn't listen and so he let them get in their attacks. he winces, "---he thinks i'm good looking? are you sure? me?" a beat, "also yes."

kagami keeps his finger to his lips. he side-eyes the phone. this is as far as his knowledge goes. he can do cuts and burns, and he knows a bit about sprains, but this shoulder was looking pretty bad. he doesn’t really ever see nijimura’s body, anyway, so he has no idea which bruises are new and which were suggestive of more serious issues.
his voices raises momentarily, “will you focus on the problems at hand? who cares if tatsuya thinks that you, nijimura, are good-looking? and will it make you happy to know that he smiled when i said you think the same of him? ----- i think i should call riko. she knows all about injuries, maybe she can come over and--------- wait, never mind. i’m afraid her dad might suspect something and kill me.”
