My last words about SNB VS 24
When I see these Azazel and Jeanne together , I see in the gaze that they convey the mutual sense of loss, the pain and all the regrets they carry. None of them asked to be a parent. But fate wanted them to be, having or not been blood relatives. They loved Mugaro, fought for him, abandoned the hatred in their hearts for him. When I see Azazel and Jeanne, I see old enemies united by grief, loss, and constant humiliation, if they hold hands and become support to each other. They probably will never be a couple, especially with Jeanne going to live in the land of the gods and Azazel … well, apparently the writers hate him so much that not even place to go was assigned to him. despite this fact, they showed a tuning that could make me watch this show of horrors until the end.
In the end, these two lost everything, and not only them, think about Kaisar, he also lost everything, since we do not know how much of his personality remained after becoming a undead.
We know Bahamut is still alive, he just needs time to recover. The Coccyto remains destroyed, those who were segregated, tortured and enslaved only became accustomed to an infallibly less degrading life. What was expected, since the stones used in the obedience collars no longer exist, or changed the treatment of the demons, there would easily be another rebellion. Now think to me; if it was possible to maintain a decent and productive working relationship between the two races, what is the real need to enslave, torture, maim and rape a whole people? What’s the point of murdering millennial beings like the gods? Even if mankind had to evolve in order to deal with a greater evil, Bahamut is the only evil that has united everyone more than once.
Even now, those who were weak, unarmed, or oblivious to the situation, were saved by the multitudinous effort of gods and demons, since Dromos could only shoot forward and once, so it would not serve as a shield for anyone.
When I reflect about what the anime has shown me, I can only think how much our society, in a general way, is moving towards the worst.
We accept the trivialization of evil, and worse, we divide ourselves among those who see the problem, those who ignore it because it was only an anime, so they “ conveniently do not have to take it seriously” and those they think are normal and acceptable, because the so-called “masterpiece "is an exciting love story.
Honestly, this space would not be enough to describe the number of pathologies associated with such a biased and peemissive thought. A love story, especially one so poorly developed, does not overlap with all the atrocities committed there.
It does not matter if there has been any "punishment” or “consequence” for such acts. All I saw related to this was a pretender, purposefully handsome and articulate, acting Hitler and being “saved” by adolescent love. He is not a hero. It’s just a jerk with words of effect and an undeclared “Oedipus complex.”
I blame the bad writing staff but they are not alone. They only provide what they “public ” what watch. This is what scary me.

Question: about azazel and Nina:) since you've talked about charioce and nina, I'd love to hear about the parallels between favamiro & azazel/nina as well. And their potential some more. Also about how refreshingly different it is at the same time if you don't mind making a similar kind of text post about it.* and your lengthy episode/character/relationship meta's are very much appreciated, thank you. I'm quite in agreement with them and sincerely hope the snb writers go your preferred route.
You would bring up AzaNin and hit me right where it hurts, gentle friend. ;D I’m smarting from two episodes of no AzaNin sustenance, fufu.
Joking aside, I’d be happy to cover the similarities and differences between FavAmi and AzaNin, but as with my previous post comparing CharNin and FavAmi, I’m pretty rusty on FavAmi since I only watched the original once. Other peeps who know the original better can feel free to chime in with their own parallels if I miss any. =)
Similarities between Favaro/Amira and Azazel/Nina are even fewer than Charioce/Nina, as far as I can recall:
Nina and Amira both begin trusting Azazel/Favaro very quickly.
Azazel/Favaro both try to make use of Nina/Amira at various points of the story.
Both couples don’t immediately fall in love. FavAmi perhaps offers a blueprint for AzaNin in that FavAmi becomes relatively solidified as a pairing by the last episode, paving the way for AzaNin to do the same.
Azazel and Nina are in my estimation a unique pairing to Shingeki no Bahamut. This may be because the creators don’t even intend for them to be a pairing or because they’re the flagship of the new series and are meant to carry the story on their own. I’m going to write this under the assumption of the latter, but the former is completely possible at this point as well.
The refreshing aspects of AzaNin in my estimation:
Azazel is in awe of Nina’s abilities in a way I don’t think we’ve seen any of the heroes offer their respective heroines.
Azazel and Nina act as guardians to the same child (Mugaro), which allows a familial atmosphere to develop between them, broadening the scope of their potential romantic antics.
They form a steadfast bond of trust very quickly that isn’t broken even after all they’ve been through over the course of 12 episodes. This is after Azazel has done some highly questionable things to Nina.
They care deeply about each other as people first; neither is looking for a relationship from the other or even aiming for it. This allows for a strong foundation to form between them that the other pairings can’t reach (the foundation is the starting point). Even FavAmi, in my humble opinion, isn’t as strong as AzaNin’s foundation.
They challenge each other and change each others’ world views. None of the other pairings make it this far, and certainly not so early. FavAmi comes close, but Amira doesn’t exactly change her worldview–only Favaro does.
Those are the top of the meta reasons why AzaNin’s a refreshing change for the series IMO. Though after what, four episodes with no AzaNin, I have no idea if it’s even viable anymore. If it isn’t, I’d say that was a darn shame–the heart and soul of this story is between those characters and without their bond, the story’s just a weak and aimless tale of standard fantasy fare.
Thanks for dropping by and for enjoying my rambling, even though clearly the creators and I aren’t on the same wavelength. Maybe we’ll get a miracle in the second cour, lol. ;)

Meet the Nepali Ironman through the eyes of our Incredible History Teacher
I have been writing a book “Children of the Eighties” for the past three months. Recollecting memories from childhood meant remembering those teachers who made a difference. Two teachers came in my mind – our school principal, SNB. And our history teacher, Ratna Bahadur Shakya.  And I wrote stories about these two Gurus.
They say writers get attached to their book’s characters. As we write, we…
