I keep sitting here and coming back to one single thought:
Benedict would simply never marry someone so boring.
#hukkelberg.exe has stopped working#book sophie is a lovely noble kind woman. but she's very simple.#not through any fault of her own she is given no opportunity to even have a decent conversation#JQ uses wealth markers to imply intelligence but never expounds on it#and it never translates into conversation in the way penelope's clear wit and skill do#those are things i see my Benedict be clearly drawn to: and things thatd KEEP him looking back#but sophie's draw is the conundrum of her situation; the paradox of her education and her station#and once the mystery's done what then? how will you keep having conversations with someone so simple?#it's not that you can't! it's just that it doesn't seem fulfilling in a way I'd wish for MY benedict#im sure That Man would be happy to have her sit in silence.
