Our Journey to Acceptance; Shadowclan

Shadowclan Attraction

Toms - A single she-cat is looking for a tom with a dark pelt and a strong muscular build; If they have scars that just makes them more attractive. Hunting’s a great way to grab a she-cats wandering eye; a good catch and proper mannerisms towards the clans queens and elders are ideal, but showing off your fighting skills will bring you more searching eyes. If you’re still looking for a mate in Shadowclan, than you should choose who it is you’re trying to grab the attraction of- Some she-cat focus more on fighting and tend to like toms who can fight- with words or claws it doesnt matter. She-cats who focus more on Hunting tend to like toms who are more fatherly, loving and kind.

Toms who are seen as attractive: Jaggedstar, Shadestalker, Boulderscar, Ravenshade, Crowtalon, Thistlethorn, Greybird, Stormfall

Toms who aren’t attractive: Birdcall, Kinkleap, Turtlesnap, Flamestep, Littlelight, Nightsight

She-cats - A single tomcat is looking for a she-cat with a darker pelt or one with multiple shades and colours. Leaner builds with strong legs and thick pelts, round eyes and a scarred body are seen as attractive to most Shadowclan toms. How a she-cat behaves also effects her attractiveness, a she-cat with barely no temper and overly kind are seen as weak, well she-cats showing anger and brutality are seen as hot and smexy to toms. A she-cat who’s a good hunter tend to lose a toms searching eye because he thinks he should be the better provider- because of this, conflict tends to happen that helps in the She-cats favour for possible mates. If a tom is challenging his clanmate in a one vs one fight it’s best that the she-cat wins, this will in increase her likeliness of fining the purrfect mate.

She-cat’s who are seen as Attractive: Emberstrike, Leopardsnow, Rattail, Halfpelt, Eaglefeather, Thornleap, Cherryface, Branchclaw, Darkdapple, Blossomrose, Feathernose, Shadowpool, Leafjump

She-cat who aren’t seen as Attractive: Mistydew, Squirrelhop, Birchshadow, Doveleap, Snowmask

Land Marks

Twoleg Nest: The twoleg nest is found at the top part of Shadowclan, it can be easily found by following the twoleg path upwards. Kettypet’s are found here and so are some flowers and herbs.

Twoleg Path: The twoleg path travels from the Twoleg nest, downward towards the lake and ends off at the Greenleaf Twolegplace.

Greenleaf Twolegplace: The Greenleaf twolegplace is a place for the twolegs sleeping lake-monster’s, these beast’s only awake during greenleaf and they carry their twolegs across or around the lake.

Greenleaf Thunderpath: The Thunderpath is only dangerous during Greenleaf, it separates Riverclan and Shadowclan and leads to the Greenleaf Twolegplace.

Twisting Pine: A large partly burnt pine tree with ever twisting roots and branches. This place marks the edge of the Lake.

River-Creek: The River-Creek was once just a river that separated Shadowclan and Thunderclan, but after a series of events the River overflowed and created it’s own forming creek bed that strays and lead downward toward the lake.

Deep Pool: A pool of semi-clear water that’s found some steps away from Camp, this pool is used to collect water for the clan. Medicine cats suggest using the lake or the River-Creek to wash off Mouse-Bile.

Abandon Twoleg Nest: An old twoleg nest that was forgotten long ago, now its used by the medicine cats! Certain Herbs can be found here, this place is where Shadowclan and Thunderclan medicine cats meet to trade herbs peacefully.

CAMP

The camp can be found closer to the twoleg nest then the other clans, it’s hidden nicely in a tangle of brambles and thorns. Around this tangle are a lot of bushes, Pines, with a once grand oak, now fallen. Some large stone peak out from within, around by the back of this settlement is a large ever growing rose bush that’s surrounded by flowering plants and bushes, tall grass and reeds are seen growing tall from behind the rose’s. Around is nothing more then mud and trees.

Fallen Bark

The Fallen Bark sits above the Leader’s Den, Medicine Den and the Nursery as it’s twisting branches reaches over to the Elders den, this fallen tree was once a tall standing oak that fell on these three dens because of the lighting storm during Duskstar’s era. It’s been seasons since it fell and the clan now use’s it for clan meetings and the medicine cat use’s the now hollowed out log as a place to store dry herbs and bedding. Only the Leader or the Medicine cat can stand upon the Fallen Bark, but the apprentices tend to use the branches for training purpose’s.

Leader’s Den

Current Leader: Jaggedstar [9/9]

Previous Leader: Kestralstar

The leaders den is hidden in a medium bush that’s tucked between the Fallen Bark stump and the Medicine Rock. Underneath the entangled roots of the tree stump and the bush lays the leader’s actual den, a hollowed out den that’s big enough for a large tom cat to stand up right and have his mate and kits with him with a little bit of space for one or two more clan mate/s.

The bush that hides this this den is squashed between a fallen oak tree and it’s supporting rock. Behind this den and the medicine den is a small area of flat, dry dirt that’s covered in pine needles, no trees cover this small space and it’s dedicated to the medicine den or the leader’s personal time.

Medicine Den

Previous Medicine Cat: Streamfish

The Medicine cats den is nestled between the Leader’s den and the Nursery, a pointed and flat sided rock separates the medicine den from the leaders and it supports the Fallen Bark from collapsing. Inside the medicine den is a space that’s big enough for five cats, closer toward the rock is where the sick/injured sleep well the medicine cat/apprentice sleep on the other side nearby the nursery walls. Overtop is a hole that’s been broken into seasons ago, this hole leads into the Fallen Bark where the medicine cat stores their herbs.

Outside the den in the back is the Medicine clearing, this space is where the medicine cat reads Starclan’s messages from nature and an extra space- easy to quarantine- sick or injured clanmates.

Nursery

Current Queen/s: Snowmask [4] Leafjump [3]

The Nursery can be found next to the medicine den and is loosely separated from it but a long, half broken oak branch that hangs from above- from the Fallen Bark. The nursery itself is two blackberry bushes that are squished underneath the Fallen Bark’s ever twisting branches. These branches reached over past the entrance and into the edges of the elders den across said entrance. Behind the Nursery is a space of tall grass and reeds that sits near the thorn barrier and the medicine cat hollow, this is where the kittens play and get use to swimming in mud. It’s safe space for the kittens to play without the ever watching eye of their mother, flying predator’s can’t see playing kittens through the reeds and overlapping pines.

Elders Den

Current Elders: Turtlesnap and Crowtalon

The elders den is a set of two large raspberry bushes that are semi protected underneath some low hanging pine branches from the Warriors den.

Warriors Den

Senior Warriors: Nightsight, Emberstrike, Leoardsnow, Ravenshade, Shadestalker, Boulderscar, Mistydew, Branchclaw, Thornleap, Stormfall, Grebird, Eaglefeather, Flamestep, Squrrielhop

Young Warriors: Birchshadow, Shadowpool, Doveleap, Darkdapple, Blossomrose, Feathernose, Hafpelt, Rattail, Littlelight, Birdcall, Cherryface, Thistlethorn, Flintsnout

Hidden underneath two medium sized Pine tree’s and their low hanging branches, this den is reinforced with thorns and long grass on top to keep the snow and rain out, well berry [Black/Rasp/Blue] bushes surround the visible sides of the den which is reinforce with thorns, moss, pine needles and small rocks on the outside. This proves effective against leaf-bare wind/snow/hail and rain and gives warriors good shelter on hot-dry days. On days/nights that food isn’t caught [Green-leaf -to- Leaf-fall] Berries can be eaten to sustain ones stamina and Thirst. Inside the den are pine needles and dry bedding for warriors, some nests have feathers and furs to keep warm with, others have objects that help tell one nest form someone else’s nest. These nests are created out of Moss, Pine needles, Feathers, Grass, Furs and Leaves

Apprentice’s Den

Current Apprentice/s: Tigerpaw, Brookpaw, Pinepaw, Goosepaw, Berrypaw

After Duskstar’s reign; the Apprentice’s den was relocated between the Elders den and the Warriors, this is because the previous one was squished by the now Fallen Bark, but due to a surplus of young warriors Duskstar relocated that Apprentice den to the other side of the Warriors den so more young warriors could sleep sheltered instead of outside in the ‘cold’. Now the Apprentice den sits alone between a set of large boulders that are covered with loaming pine branches, behind it is the thorn barrier that’s been covered in beautiful rose’s left behind by Blossomrose. These rose’s reach round the thorn barrier and end behind the Nursery and Elders den.

Fresh-Kill Pile

Fresh-Kill: Salamanders, Newts, Frogs, Toads, Sparrows, Black birds, Crows, Ravens, Rabbit, Mice, Squirrels, Robins, Gardner Snakes, Voles, Minnows, Fish

The fresh-kill pile can be found nearby the Medicine den and the Nursery, it’s placed under a high hanging oak branch that\s used to keep the food in the shade and away from a potential predator’s eyes. Easily accessible to nursing queens and the medicine cat.

Adderclaw was inspired by Duncan from Total Drama (more like Total Yikes cuz I was cringy) and I doubt I’ll be using him again any time soon tbh), white and ginger cat (Rosestar! Rosestar was actually an og cat who was created as a leader for this group. Would I use her again? Probably not tbh), brown and white cat (Thornleap! Blossomrose

Description: A short limbed but muscular she-cat with black, brown, white and dark ginger dappled fur. She has a thick feathery but curly tail and chest fur but sleek fur every where else. Has dark amber eyes and wads of pine needles sticking out her tail and chest.

Fact: Was given the name Blossomrose because of her odd habit of collecting rose heads and vines from the twoleg garden and weaving them into the structure of camp; these rose’s then grew and grew producing more rose’s soon after, the rose’s cluster tightly by the Apprentice den and sprawling out to the elders and ending at the medicine den.

Description: Tall white tabby with splotch of dark grey, she has a dark ginger eye marking and bright yellow eyes with feathery fur and a scarred body.

Fact: Feathernose was given her name not for her feather like coat or appearance; instead it was because of her habit of collecting/plucking feathers off death birds and sticking them into her pelt for fun. As she grow a bit older she began collecting a bigger pile of feathers that she now use’s as bedding.

PineClan 🌲

PineClan, the northernmost Clan on the island, is sheltered in the cradle of the mountains that separate the unclaimed territory from the Clans. Their vast territory is covered with tall pine and birch trees, their coastline entirely cliff. Their border with MeadowClan is interrupted by the marsh and the gathering pond. Their base camp is at the foot of one of their tall mountains, and they prosper under the wise leadership of Owlstar and Vineleg.

SaltClan 🌊

SaltClan claims the majority of Cliff Island’s southern shore. Most of their territory is made up of their mixed forest and rocky beaches. Their border with MeadowClan is at the very edge of the meadow, and they are the only clan who does not touch the neutral pond and marsh. They are the only clan that regularly swims, and their camp is in the center of the forest. Their leader and deputy, Bearstar and Pikepool, have been in position for a very long time and are well known for their leadership skills.

MeadowClan 🌾

MeadowClan claims the entirety of the island’s western shore, and their territory is primarily made up of a gigantic meadow and moorland. They border the marsh and pond, along with PineClan. Their base camp is hidden within the tall grass of the meadow. The mountain nearest to them, in the unclaimed territory, is the home of the Moonspring. Their young leader, Sunstar, is well known for his ruthless ambition and loner origins.

The story:

Part one:

Rising Winds: In SaltClan, the apprentice Alderpaw begins to have strange dreams. In an attempt to decipher these dreams, the medicine cat Badgertail takes Alderpaw under his wing. As secrets about the SaltClan and MeadowClan leaders begin to unravel, Alderpaw finds himself thrust into places very few Clan cats have gone before.

Part two:

Raging Storm: Alderpaw, now Aldercloud, begins to deal with the fallout of his prophecies. To try and repair the broken Clans, Aldercloud joins forces with Icestorm of PineClan and Birchpaw of Meadowclan, but tensions form in their group as Clan relationships fracture.

Part three:

Breaking Sun: Foamfrost watches as his brother and former mentor, Aldercloud, reels from a myriad of losses. The Clans are on their way to repair, but Foamfrost and the other veterans feel like wartime relics with no sense of purpose. He and Aldercloud struggle to help their Clan and find their true paths in life.

She has a bit of an overbite and her fangs poke out, and her father thinks she is a bad omen/curse because of the death of her brother/her appearance. this idea is what drives Cloudpool to split with Thornstar because he refuses to spend time with her or Batkit
