🐐Thor is associated with storms, thunder, farming, fertility, protection, generosity, mankind. He is a god for everyone. The sound of thunder is said to be his cart rolling across the sky, lightning being Mjolnir.

Thor's most famous symbol is Mjolnir which is often worn as a pendant by Norse pagans, including me. Swastika were also a symbol of his before Nazis got a hold of it, now it's only really used by racists in the US.

Thor has Megingjord, his belt, sometimes seen in older art of Thor. Jarngreipr, a pair of iron gloves. He has a cart pulled by the goats, Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjostr. Thor also has a staff given to him by by the Jotun Grid.

Thor's personality is protective, loud, quick temper, direct, he is usually not subtle. He is also loving and generous. He's not particularly cunning but he's intelligent. He also seems to be restless and he can be reckless. He has a big appetite for food and drinks.🌩️

A quick rundown of the next Thor stories

We can be real quick about these too.

"The Thunder God and the Thug!": Thor defeats regular gangsters. As gripping and suspenseful as watching a car run over an ant.

"Trapped by the Carbon-Copy Man!": Thor defeats shapeshifting aliens, thru brute force and then by telling them to turn into trees (which gets rid of their brains, physiologically? They somehow don't know that treeshifting will make them brainless, but Thor does...)

"Sandu, Master of the Supernatural!": Loki uses his magic to give Sandu, an ESPer running a legitimate mind-reading act, a godlike power-boost. Sandu was already reading aloud peoples' social security numbers, but once he comes into his power boost (teleportation, telekinesis, memory wiping, dimensional travel), he wreaks havoc and defeats Thor (who can apparently be taken out by a falling steel girder). Thor communes w Daddy Dearest, who gives him his megingjord, boosting his physical strength to immense levels. Sandu still disarms Thor, but then overexerts and loses his powers trying to lift Mjolnir out of sheer ego.

"The Day Loki Stole Thor's Magic Hammer": Thor defeats gangsters. Thor helps film scenes for a movie, including providing weather (this is the good part of the story frankly). Loki, bound in uru chains, uses magnetism to attract Thor's uru hammer to it, breaking him free. Thor defeats Loki by being really strong and that's all there really is to say on the matter

The average quality of Thor stories is... low. Even Loki isn't a guarantee of quality - the only one of these I didn't dislike was the Sandu one. At least Don Blake isn't weighing down these stories that much - I was starting to get ticked off by him and his+Jane's mutual silent pining for each other, but it isn't happening much here.

Thor always seemed to blend in the background a little. Which wasn't too surprising with someone like Baldr and Loki always near him, and yet. He had been the one to catch your eye.

Sure it had been a bit of a challenge to get him to talk to you, and sure it had been a bit of a hassle to finally build a bond. But you were progressing at a comfortable pace in your relationship right now and you were pretty happy with how things were going.

Today was a special day. You had found out through Baldr that it was actually Thor's birthday. He had never even mentioned it, and you were feeling like the worst partner for never really asking. But Baldr had mentioned it in time, and you had managed to compensate for your lack of knowledge by organizing a surprise party.

It had been surprisingly easy, as Thor didn't even question you when you said you wanted some alone time for the day.

The surprise on his face was apparent when he walked into the common room, and everything was decorated, his favorite food was waiting, and you approached him with a big smile on your face.

"Surprise! Happy birthday Thor." You gave him a hug and pulled him in for a kiss, he complied without even thinking, the motions so rehearsed and fluid, because you'd done it so many times before and yet it still felt like the first time all over again.

"Why... did you do this?"

"Because I love you, and because you deserve to be the center of attention too sometimes."

Could I get a kamiaso matchup? I’m a straight girl with long blonde hair that I like to dye fun colors. I am very shy and quiet at first cause I have some social anxiety issues and I assume I just bother people if I talk to them, but once I get to know someone I become talkative. I like to read and write and I collect Disney and other children’s movies like scooby doo. I am also bit of a klutz, not a day goes by where I don’t fall down the stairs and get hurt.

He never really meant to fall into such a deep relationship with you. You two were supposed to be just good classmates.

He is an incredibly strong and sturdy support. Always there to catch you, both literally and figuratively. Always ready to lend a helping hand. Though it can be a bit awkward afterwards as he tends to stare just a bit too long after asking if you're alright.

Boy howdy does he work HARD. His quiet, unrelenting earnesty hardly ever earns him anything. He admits he can be a bit miffed over it at times, but generally holds his tongue and moves on. The majority of the time he doesn't care. So long as his friends have been helped and everything works out in the end.

As you may well see, he frequently leaves himself out of several equations. Hardly ever taking himself into account, as if he, himself is an afterthought.

However I feel that your steady compassion and love (quite really an ocean of unrelenting kindness flowing in you). Will help uncloud his eyes on the matter. Your reassurance helps him slowly, but steadily speak up on the things he wants. Funnily enough starting with you.

It begins with him standing up against his brother's shameless flirting with you. Loki is taken aback, but backs off immediately. Attempting to appear amused by the ordeal, but is truly touched by his brother's growth.

Rainy days indoors with hot cocoa and a disney movie playing would be the softest, sweetest date.

He'd quickly gather blankets and snacks with thinly contained eagerness. Double-triple checking that you're warm enough. Ultimately being unsatisfied with your answer he'll cuddle up next to you "for warmth". He basks in it completely. Convinced something like this will never happen again. He commits it to memory, sure this'll be the happiest memory he'll ever have.

Whenever you change your hair color, he's always REALLY interested in braiding it to get acquainted with the new color. Taking his time to really appreciate it on you. (but only if you're comfortable with that, that is)

He also loves to sit and watch you write should you let him. There's nothing more soothing and enthralling to watch you quietly work. Seeing the gears brilliantly turning in your head.

The strong emotions he feels for you he's never gone through before. It's all so bewilderingly new, he doesn't know what to do with it. Like a heavily leaking roof and he's running out of buckets to catch it all. Everything's hectic and overflowing and he's just completely overwhelmed.

He has a hard enough time grasping and expressing "normal" emotions. Something this new, this deep, this...to say frankly, odd. Has him thrown for a loop.

Once he has time to settle into it things are better. Obviously you know that he cares for you romantically. But for him he feels like you don't actually understand the extent of his feelings and it really, REALLY frustrates him.

He loves and cares for you so deeply, but he feels locked in his own mind. Any words that begin to form that somewhat convey what he feels is stolen away as soon as they nearly reach his lips. He's always been a man of few words and it never bothered him before, but now when he so desperately wants to share his thoughts he stays stuck in his mind.

Having to settle for small displays of affection when he can and heftily relies on his love language "acts of service". If he can't tell you, he'll just have to show you in devotion and efficiency.

As if to say "Look at me, look how strong I am. Look how quickly I can get this done. Are you struggling to complete that task? I can do it ten times faster. See? You can rely on me. Please keep me around. I swear I'm worth it."

There is nothing quite like the touch of your soft hands cupping his face that can make him open up and finally breathe. Nothing quite like your unyieldingly kind gaze can make him acknowledge his pain. Nothing quite like your soothing voice telling him his feelings are valid can make long overdue tears fall quicker.

You two are truly the epitome of "Strength in Kindness".
