I headcanon that undead illithids tend to maintain themselves better than human liches, as mindflayers are generally more vain. Auz takes extreme pride in his appearance, and takes any opportunity to show off his excellent taste. Man has an unrivaled skincare routine.

He easily has the most extravagant and luxurious wardrobe, only matched by Felix (who he regularly spoils with shopping trips.)

After having the Q-therapy that allows him to be outside during the day without discomfort, he takes full advantage of all the outdoor siesta potential the quad provides. He sneaks out regularly to the big tree for a peaceful snooze.

My partner (Tealix) and I (Skullduggery) are a queer mixed-race couple actively working on a modular D&D supplement. It is a complete reimagining of Thoon (of illithid lore) as a goth metal bard and Christ-like figure. There is an entire backstory being written for Thoon to go along with the supplement as we play-test our mechanics. It is set on a cyberpunk modern world and strongly features queer romance with poly, trans, and intersex rep, as well as anti-capitalist, anti-colonial, and pro-indigenous themes.

Thoon’s story is one of love and forgiveness, overcoming trauma, and subverting the expectations placed upon you.

The supplement will include:

Auzzimaks hates that Thoon rides this thing, as Thoon is still mortal. Auz thinks it is unnecessary risk taking. Thoon, on the other hand, thinks it projects an image to have a roaring symbol of unadulterated masculinity between his legs, "Look at me on this thing and tell me it isn’t good for the Thoonist brand."

Felix just thinks he looks handsome on his bike, and likes riding on the back with his arms around him.

Gil’eath was encountered some time after Thoon’s final ascension into full godhood, living in an isolated colony deep underground. When Thoon liberated Gil’s colony from its elder brain, Gil decided to join him rather than stay behind and rebuild under the new management (more on that to be revealed later.)

His wardrobe is notoriously large, extravagant, and often stolen. For the 80 years he spent alone in The Underdark he found himself at odds with many an adventurer who wandered through his domain, using his many sleep spells to pilfer anything that caught his eye. This included clothes, food, exotic treasures, and, (of course) romance novels.

Some illithids adopt disguises that allow them to pass among humans unnoticed. Auzzimaks is one such case, and used this projection to get near adventuring parties. He used this method most often to steal items when travelers crossed through his domain, but keen eyes would notice that elves typically do not have fangs or stubble. Nor are they 6’3".
